Abstract

Abstract

This causes geriatric patients to get a prescription with an amount of R / more than one. The large number of drugs prescribed and consumed can increase the risk of health problems and have the potential to cause polypharmacy, thereby increasing the risk of drug interactions, Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs), and Medications Error. This study aims to determine the percentage of potential drug interactions based on their severity and the percentage of potential drug interactions based on the number of types of drugs (R/) from the evaluation of outpatient prescriptions in geriatric patients. The identification of potential interactions between drugs was carried out by conducting a prescription review of outpatient geriatric patients during September 2020 at the Government Hospital in Sukabumi City, which then determined the category of the interaction. The results showed that the percentage of the number of drug interactions that occurred was 4.63% minor category, 83.33% moderate interaction, and 12.03% major interactions. Then, the percentage between the number of drug interactions and the number of types of drugs in one prescription (R/) has a percentage of 3.7%, 3.7%, 4.63%, 41.67%, 27.78%, and 18.52 % of the number of types of drugs as many as three, four, five, six, seven, and eight drugs in one prescription respectively.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has forced people to change their behavior patterns to suit the situation and conditions during the pandemic, which is called the new normal. One of the things that must change is the pattern of education that must be accompanied by adjustments to the behavior of teachers and students in the learning process. At the time the government implemented Limited Face-to-face Learning (PTMT) there were still many. For this reason, this study aims to support the government's efforts to maintain the sustainability of education by assisting the implementation of health protocols in elementary schools during the new normal period of the Covid-19 pandemic. The study was conducted at SDN Pelangi 1 Sukamukti Village, Majalaya District, Bandung Regency. The method used in mentoring the implementation of health protocols is an extension method accompanied by a simulation of the practice of implementing the 3M health protocol (wearing masks, keeping distance, washing hands) which is attended by half of the students from grades 1 to 6. The results of the mentoring show that the students who initially did not recognize the scope of 3M and how it was implemented correctly, by the end of the activity most of them had applied how to wear masks properly, wash their hands properly, and tend to avoid crowds.

Abstract

Kata kunci: CKD, Hipertensi, PTOAbstractCKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) is a progressive and irreversible disorder that occurs in kidney function because the kidneys are unable to maintain fluid and electrolyte balance and metabolism, resulting in uremia (urinary retention and nitrogen accumulation in the blood). Hypertension is a common cause of kidney failure due to increased pressure in the glomerular capillaries. The use of hypertension drugs can also cause edema. Anemia is a very common complication in patients with CKD. This occurs due to decreased production of endogenous erythropoietin in the kidneys. The PTO was carried out at a hospital in Bandung with a stage V CKD patient. The patient was also diagnosed with CKD with metabolic acidosis, with additional diagnoses of anemia and thrombocytopenia with a previous history of hypertension. Drug Therapy Monitoring is done by ensuring the proper use of drugs and avoiding unwanted events. Keywords:CKD, Hypertension, PTO

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus in Indonesia now ranks 5th with the highest number of diabetes mellitus sufferers in the world. At present, the prevalence has increased from 6.2% compared to 2019. Diabetics need to get effective and safe drugs in order to avoid various complications. In addition to using pharmacological therapy, it is also necessary to carry out non-pharmacological therapy. One type of medicinal plant that is known to be effective in reducing sugar is ginger and cinnamon, but there has not been much reported on its processing other than in the form of a decoction or marinade. The purpose of carrying out this PPM activity is to increase the knowledge and understanding of the people of Mekarjaya Banjaran Village regarding the use of medicinal plants as anti-diabetics, and provide knowledge about making ginger-cinnamon instant powder drinks. The activity method is carried out in 3 stages, namely the planning, implementation, evaluation and follow-up stages. The results of this PPM activity show that the community has a better understanding of efforts to be healthy in preventing diabetes through the use of ginger-cinnamon medicinal plants, and how to process them through instant powders. The evaluation is carried out based on the results of the initial test and the final test as a method for measuring the achievements of this PPM activity.
