Abstract

Research aimed to analyze several influences of system quality, information quality and perceived usefulness to user satisfaction on financial accounting software and its impact on individual performance. Sampling technique was using purposive sampling based on questionnaires distributed to users of financial accounting software who work at international freight forwarding. The number of samples was 200 respondents. The analytical method used was Structure Equation Models (SEM) with Lisrel 8.75 full version. The result of study showed that system quality and information quality have significant influenced the perceived usefulness. System quality, information quality, and perceived usefulness have significant influenced to user satisfaction. User satisfaction had significant influenced to individual performance. The highest influence from overall model was shown by the influence of system quality on perceived usefulness. Keywords: System Information, Perceived Usefulness, Satisfaction, Performance

Abstract

Water supply is a crucial for human lives, not only for daily activities but also for secondary purposes such as for watering garden, paddy fields etc. There are many efforts of human in fulfilling their water supply needs. Most of water supply is provided by using electric motor pumps which in certain cases might increase the financial cost. In this paper, wind energy is applied to pumping water mechanically whilst it combines with solar panel which works to pump water during less wind speed condition. The micro-controller Arduino-Uno is employed to manage the collaboration operation between wind and solar panel. The design concept and construction are presented and discussed. The operation results exhibit good operation performance and could be developed for the real application.

Abstract

The existence of working capital management is very important for a company to support all activities of a company. This is because the management of working capital required by the company will determine business continuity. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of cash turnover, accounts receivable turnover and inventory turnover on return on assets (ROA) in food and beverage subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The hypothesis tested is the independent variable, namely cash turnover, accounts receivable turnover and inventory turnover, the dependent variable is return on assets (ROA). The sample used is secondary data from financial statements listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Sampling was done through purposive sampling and samples that met the selection criteria. The sample used is 21 companies. Observations were made for 5 years starting from 2016 - 2020. Data Testing and Data Processing Techniques in this study used quantitative analysis. Furthermore, it will be analyzed and tested hypotheses with the help of computer programs, namely Microsoft Excel and Eviews 10. The results showed that simultaneously cash turnover, accounts receivable turnover and inventory turnover, jointly had a significant effect on the dependent variable ROA, and partially cash turnover and inventory turnover. Inventory turnover has no significant effect on the dependent variable return on assets (ROA) while receivables turnover has a significant effect on the dependent variable return on assets (ROA).

Abstract

Abstract

Pulau Bahuluang merupakan salah satu daerah yang terpisah dari daratan Kabupaten Kepulauan Selayar yang dalam pemenuhan akan kebutuhan listrik tidak mendapat pasokan listrik dari PLN (Pelayanan Listrik Nasional) Selayar. Kebutuhan listrik sehari-hari diperoleh dari generator diesel yang dioperasikan hanya 5 jam per hari dikarenakan biaya operasional yang tinggi pada bahan bakar, itupun dengan harga solar bersubsidi. Struktur pulau Bahuluang yang sebagian besar terdiri dari hamparan dan sabana yang cukup luas serta titik koordinat dari pulau tersebut menyebabkan pulai ini dilalaui angin barat dan angin timur yang cukup berpotensi untuk dimanfaatkan dimana rata-rata kecepatan angin pertahun di Pulau Bahuluang yang bisa dimanfatkan sebesar 7,89 m/s (Dinas Pertambangan dan Energi Kab. Kep. Selayar) serta rata-rata potensi intensitas radiasi matahari pertahun di pulau Bahuluang yang bisa dimanfaatkan sebesar 6 kWh/m2/d dari situs internet (Solar and Wind Energy Resource Assesment).Studi ini mengusulkan pembangkit listrik hibrida di pulau tersebut yang terdiri atas PV (Photo Voltaic) dan WT (Wind Turbine) serta Generator Diesel agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan listrik 24 jam. Software HOMER (Hybrid Optimization Model for Electric Renewable) digunakan untuk simulasi dan analisis dengan tujuan menghasilkan perencanaan pembangkit listrik hibrida yang optimal di Pulau Bahuluang mengacu pada NPC (Net Present Cost), modal awal dan biaya operasional. Hasil simulasi menunjukan Produksi dan konsumsi energi (kWh/tahun) dari PV (Photo Voltaic) sebesar 22,70% dan WT (Wind Turbine) sebesar 13,51% setidaknya dapat menurunkan biaya operasional dibanding sistem hanya menggunakan Generator Diesel.

Abstract

Vacuum condenser is one of the parameters that affect the performance of the plant. To keep the plant's performance remains stable then it takes a good degree of vacuum in the condenser. This final project aims to determine the performance of plants based on the level of vacuum condenser different. The method used is collecting data on the actual load conditions 50%, 75% and 100% and then perform data analysis. The results will be presented in tables and graphs then be deduced. Based on data and analysis that has been carried out, the results obtained are better condenser vacuum pressure, the specific steam consumption, specific fuel consumption and turbine heat rate (heat rate) will decrease, while the efficiency of the turbine will increase

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh head dan debit terhadap kinerja PLTMH dengan variasi jumlah pipa penstock. Pengujian dilakukan dengan memvariasikan bukaan setiap keran dan jumlah pipa penstock yang beroperasi pada alat uji PLTMH hasil rancang bangun. Hasil pengujian alat uji sistem PLTMH dengan variasi jumlah pipa penstock pada pengujian tanpa beban menghasilkan putaran turbin tertinggi sebesar 1271 rpm dengan pengoperasian 1 pipa penstock dengan kondisi keran pembuangan udara pompa tertutup penuh dan putaran terendah sebesar 92,3 rpm dengan pengoperasian 5 pipa penstock dengan kondisi keran pembuangan udara pompa tertutup ½ dari tutupan keran. Sedangkan tegangan keluaran tertinggi pada generator sebesar 12,4 Volt dengan daya maksimum yang dibangkitkan sebesar 7,316 Watt dengan pengoperasian 1 pipa penstock pada pengujian berbeban 20 Ω dengan kondisi keran pembuangan udara pompa tertutup penuh.

Abstract

Analyzing exergy on the power plant generating system specially at PLTU, efficient utilization of energy resources can be obtained particularly since it leads efforts to reduce energy waste that already exists.The purposes of this research are to get the Thermal Power Plant system modeling of PT. Makassar Tene, to get the value of modeled exergy power plant system, to get exergy losses, to get the amount exergy efficiency and to get the cost of exergy losses.The research method was firstly, designing the Power Plant generating systems PT. Makassar Tene using Cycle-Tempo 5 as thermodynamic analysis tool. Results of calculations were then used to calculate the exergy profile.Exergy values analyzed on a system modeled Power Plant consists of turbine components, condensers and pump. Boilers are not included in the analysis because of the input device is not contained and the mass flow rate of the boiler occurs steady state in which the state of the same process with the state of the environment so that there is no exergy difference that can be utilized.The highest exergy losses based on the modelling was on the turbine components that was 10201.50 kW. This was due to the change in the vapor phase into the liquid phase contained in the component before and after leaving the turbine components. While the lowest exergy losses was on the pump component, that was 437.18 kW.The higher the efficiency value of a component, the better its performance is. The highest efficiency value of exergy that was 51.43% contained on the turbine components. While the lowest efficiency value of exergy was 0%.

Abstract

This research is aimed to recovery of copper that has been dissolved in the copper-nitrate wastewater from gold jewelry purification, with a content concentration 5318.52 mg/l of Cu, which can be obtained pure copper powder of high economic value and can contribute to a decrease in weight metal content copper on the wastewater before discharge to urban drainage. The method used is the recovery process by electrolysis or electrowinning process that using liberation cell, which uses a single pair of stainless steel electrode with copper (SS-Cu), a single pair of graphite electrodes with copper (G-Cu), also multi pairs stainless steel electrode with copper (MSS-Cu). Single-electrode pair was examined by varying the voltage and current values at time variation of process, while for many electrode pairs by varying the process time at constant voltage and current values. The recoverable amount of copper was measured by weighing the mass changes at the cathode and the copper content test of the solution using Atomic Absorption Flame Emission Spectrophotometer. Laboratory test results show the decreasing maximum content for each pair, respectively 66.60% for the SS-Cu, 49.38% for the G-Cu, and 78.94% for the MSS-Cu. With reference to the effectiveness of multi-electrode cell liberation, there are business opportunities for wastewater treatment to find powder copper that can accompany the business of gold jewelry purification.

Abstract

Penstock acts as a distributor of fluid flow between the tank and the turbine. The aims of this study are to determine the characteristics of the pressure and the water velocity and flow pattern that occurs in the penstock and to determine the efficiency of hydraulic optimum turbine with design power 40 kW. Characteristics are analyzed by simulation using Ansys fluent software. The simulation results assist in the design process and design of water turbines penstock accurately and shorten the time. Based on the simulation results in the penstock, the pressure varies on along the penstock and maximum occur on the inlet side (33652 Pa) and then gradually drops along the pipeline and reach the minimum conditions on the outlet side (2651 Pa). Characteristics of the fluid velocity tends to be constant from the inlet side to the outlet side (2,46 m/s), but there are fluctuations in flow velocity in the bend of 10° and 45°. The pattern of the flow of water along the penstock pipe turbulent, especially in connection with angle bends 45° and 10°. Angle turn follow the existing topography. Additionally, it obtained maximum turbine power of 50,617 kW with hydraulic efficiency of 68.93% and the effective height of the turbine is equal to 17,234 m and a discharge of 0,3 m3/s.
