Abstract

Gudang berperan sebagai distributor untuk menyalurkan bahan baku menuju jalur produksi. Respon gudang dalam menyuplai bahan baku berkaitan dengan proses penyiapan yang mempengaruhi waktu setup komponen bahan baku untuk dikirim ke lini perakitan. Jumlah produksi dari lini perakitan yang bertambah dari 160 unit menjadi 200 unit per bulan menuntut waktu setup yang lebih pendek dari pihak gudang bahan baku. Selama ini waktu set-up yang diperlukan untuk 1 lot produksi atau 40 unit produk adalah berkisar antara 5 – 7 hari. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pengaturan ulang tata letak dan perbaikan terhadap prosedur setup di gudang bahan baku untuk mengurangi waktu penyiapan komponen rakitan sebelum masuk ke jalur produksi. Hasil dari pengaturan ulang tata letak dan perbaikan prosedur ini adalah penghematan ruang sebesar 5 %, eliminasi aktivitas setup yang tidak perlu yang menghasilkan waktu setup yang lebih pendek, dan  prosedur baru penyiapan komponen yang lebih efisien. Kata kunci: gudang bahan baku, proses penyiapan, tata letak, waktu setup.     Abstract   Storage have a function to distribute materials to production line. Storages respon in time supplying materials influenced by preparation process  known as component setup  process. Increased production quantity in production line from 160 units to 200 units per month press for shorter storages setup time. All this time setup time for one production lot or 40 units range from five to seven days. This research try to improve setup prosedur to reduce component preparation time before entered production line. Research include redesign of storage layout. The results show improvement by 5 percent saving in space, elimination of unnecessary preparation activity resulting in shorter setup time, and the new preparation procedure  that more efficient. Key word: layout, materials storage, preparation process, setup time.

Abstract

Organic fertilizers are fertilizers that primarily consist of organic materials derived from plant or animal residues converted in solid or liquid form. Household waste, especially vegetable waste, is usually dumped directly into the environment, even though this waste can still be used, for example, made as liquid organic fertilizer by utilizing local microorganisms (MOL). The mole contains micro and macronutrients and contains bacteria that can decompose organic matter. This Community Service aims to provide motivation and knowledge, and skills to the community about the technique of making liquid organic fertilizer from household waste by utilizing local microorganisms. Community Service held in Sungai Pangeran Village, Ilir Timur I District, Palembang City, on February 19, 2019. The method used was counseling and training participants on the use of local microorganisms as liquid organic fertilizer. Thirty-five participants attended the implementation of the activity. This activity continued with discussions and questions and answers during the training. The results of this Community Service show that the service method in the form of counseling, training, and question and answer is very appropriate in motivating the community to remodel household waste.

Abstract

Effect of fertilizer application on growth and production of several varieties of watermelon (Citrullus vulgaris, schard). This study aims to determine the response of growth and production of watermelon (Citrullus vulgaris, Schard) to various types of fertilizers and different varieties. This research has been carried out on farmers' land in Pulau Semambu Village, North Indralaya District from August to November 2019. The method used is a field experiment method with a factorial RAK layout consisting of 9 treatment combinations repeated 3 times. Factor I is the type of fertilizer (J) which consists of J1 = Baranik Fertilizer, J2 = NPK Fertilizer, J3 = Chicken Manure. Factor II is variety (V) consisting of V1 = New Dragon, V2 = Golden Crown, V3 = Possa F1. The results showed that the type of fertilizer treatment and its interactions had no significant effect on all observed variables. Varieties treatment had a significant effect on fruit weight per plant and per plot. but had no significant effect on the variables of plant height and number of leaves. The interaction treatment between NPK fertilizer and the New Dragon variety gave the highest growth and production for watermelon plants at 51.93 kg/plot.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendapatkan jenis pupuk organik dan dosis pupuk NPK majemuk terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan bibit tanaman tebu (Saccharum officinarum L.). Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di lahan milik petani Jl. H.M. Asyik Aqil Km 16 Kel. Sukajadi Kec. Talang Kelapa Kab. Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini telah berlangsung pada bulan September sampai Desember 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terbagi (Split plot design) disusun dengan 9 kombinasi diulang 3 kali, sebagai perlakuan petak utama : Jenis pupuk organik (O), O1 = kotoran ayam, O2 =kotoran sapi, O3 = sekam padi dan perlakuan anak petak : Dosis pupuk NPK majemuk (D), D1 =50 kg/ha, D2 = 100 kg/ha, D3 = 150 kg/ha. Peubah yang diamati adalah waktu keluar tunas (hst), tinggi tananam (cm), jumlah anakan, jumlah daun (helai), panjang akar (cm), dan jumlah akar (helai). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan jenis pupuk organic berpengaruh nyata sampai sangat nyata terhadap peubah yang diamati sedangkan perlakuan dosis pupuk NPK majemuk dan interaksi keduanya berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap semua peubah yang diamati. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil secara tabulasi kombinasi  jenis pupuk organik kotoran ayam dan dosis pupuk NPK majemuk 150 kg/ha memberikan hasil tertinggi pada pertumbuhan bibit tanaman tebu.

Abstract

The use of organic fertilizers on plants is not only useful for increasing soil fertility while increasing plant growth and productivity, organic fertilizers also have relatively cheap prices.  This research aims to determine the right type of organic fertilizer on the growth and production of sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt).The research was conducted from May to July 2019 in Srimenanti Village, Tanjung LagoSub District, Banyuasin District, South Sumatra Province.The research method used a completely block randomized design (CBRD) with 5 treatments and 5 replications. The results of the analysis of diversity showed that the treatment of the type of organic fertilizer had a very significant effect on the number of leaves, but had no significant effect on the other observed variables.  Baraplus organic fertilizer provides the highest number of leaves.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan dan mendapatkan takaran pupuk kotoran ayam yang tepat terhadap produksi tanaman bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan petani di Desa Purwosari, Kecamatan Tanjung Lago, Kabupaten Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan, pada bulan Mei sampai Agustus 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Tunggal, dengan 7 perlakuan dan diulang 4 kali. Adapun perlakuannya sebagai berikut : Perlakuan takaran pupuk kotoran ayam (A) : A0 = kontrol (tanpa pupuk kotoran ayam) ; A1 = 5 ton/ha ; A2 = 10 ton/ha ; A3 = 15 ton/ha ; A4 = 20 ton/ha ; A5 = 25 ton/ha dan A6 = 30 ton/ha. Peubah yang diamati yaitu jumlah anakan, jumlah umbi perumpun dan berat umbi perumpun. Berdasarkan analisi keragaman menunjukkan bahwa perakuan takaran pupuk kotoran ayam berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap berat umbi perumpun dan berpengaruh tidaknyata terhadap peubah lainnya. Pemberian pupuk kotoran ayam dengan takaran 30 ton/ha memberikan hasil terbaik pada tanaman bawang merah.This study aims to determine and obtain the right dose of chicken manure on the production of shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.). This research was carried out on farmers' land in Purwosari Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra, from May to August 2019. This study used an experimental method with a Single Randomized Block Design (RAK), with 7 treatments and repeated 4 times. The treatments are as follows: Treatment of chicken manure (A) : A0 = control (without chicken manure) ; A1 = 5 ton/ha ; A2 = 10 tos/ha ; A3 = 15 ton/ha ; A4 = 20 ton/ha ; A5 = 25 ton/ha and A6 = 30 ton/ha. The observed variables were the number of tillers, the number of tubers in the cluster and the weight of the tubers in the cluster. Based on the analysis of diversity, it was shown that the measurement of the chicken manure fertilizer had a very significant effect on the weight of the tuber clumps and had no significant effect on other variables. The application of chicken manure at a dose of 30 ton/ha gave the best results on shallot plants.

Abstract

Fruit waste is considered a waste material that cannot be used anymore, so that its existence has not been properly utilized by the community. Even though fruit waste can still be reused as material for making liquid organic fertilizer (POC). Liquid organic fertilizer made from fruit waste is a type of fertilizer that has many benefits, both for plants and the environment. Liquid organic fertilizer is environmentally friendly and safe for humans and animals. Liquid organic fertilizer also improves soil structure, increases soil fertility, and increases soil water holding capacity, besides being environmentally friendly, reduces soil pollution, and protects soil health. This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and skills to the community about reusing fruit waste by processing it into liquid organic fertilizer (POC). The location of the community service was carried out at the Tangga Takat village head office, Seberang Ulu II District, Palembang City, on February 24 2022. The method used was counseling and training for the community about processing fruit waste into liquid organic fertilizer. This activity brought together 25 enthusiastic participants in a discussion and question and answer session during the training. The results of this community service show that the method of community service in the form of consultation, training and question and answer is very suitable for motivating the community in processing fruit waste into liquid organic fertilizer.

Abstract

The community of Gelebak Dalam Village, Rambutan Sub-district, Banyuasin Regency is a village rich in plants and livestock, including rice, vegetables and fruits as well as chickens, cows, goats, ducks. All of them are sources of agricultural waste that can be used as organic fertilizer. The processed organic fertilizers can be used for rice, vegetables and fruit crops, reduce organic agricultural agricultural waste which can improve land to become more fertile and quality in the resulting production (improve the quality in terms of taste) and can very clearly reduce the use of chemical fertilizers. This counseling was carried out from July 2022 to August 2022 for the people of Gelebak Dalam Village The methods used included counseling, demonstration of making organic fertilizers and mentoring until organic fertilizers were successfully made. The aim of this counseling is that it is hoped that the community can utilize agricultural waste to be processed into organic fertilizer. The hope that the Village community will process agricultural waste into organic fertilizer is very large with successive questions arising and will enthusiastically try to apply it to their own rice fields and gardens. The results achieved are that farmers have succeeded in making organic fertilizer from agricultural waste in the village of Gelebak Dalam.

Abstract

Tekno 44 Agrotourism is a tourist attraction centered in Gelebak Dalam Village, Rambutan District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province. Korem 044 Gapo is in charge of managing this agrotourism with an integrated farming system. Floating rice technology is one way to overcome the problem of flooding that occurs in lowland swamplands. Utilization of Lebak swamp land in South Sumatra for agriculture is still low; rice is only planted once a year during the dry season. The service was carried out from January to February 2023. The methods used included training and assistance regarding the application of floating rice technology on lowland swamp land, as well as facilitating the provision of facilities and infrastructure for the application of floating rice technology. The aim of this service is to increase the knowledge and skills of the Gelembak Dalam Village community regarding the application of floating rice technology on Lebak swamp land. Along with members of Korem 044 Gapo, the residents of Gelebak Dalam Village attended the training and mentoring. The people of Gelebak Dalam Village and members of Korem 044 Gapo are very enthusiastic about participating in training and mentoring to gain new knowledge and skills regarding the application of floating rice technology.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain the right dose of eco-enzyme fertilizer to increase the production of mustard greens. This research was conducted on the land owned by Dito's brother in Sungai Rebo 1 Village, Banyuasin Regency from December 2022 to February 2023. This research used a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) experimental method with 8 combinations and repeated 3 times. The treatments used were Dosages of Eco-Enzyme Fertilizers (E1: 5 ml/L, E2: 10 ml/L and E3: 15 ml/L) and Mustard Plant Varieties (V1: Sawi Caisim and V2: Sawi Pakcoy). The observed variables were 1. Plant height (cm), 2. Number of leaves (cm), 3. Leaf length (cm), 4. Plant fresh weight (g). The best research results show that the dose of eco-enzyme fertilizer as much as 10 ml/L gives the best production in one plant of 171 gr. Research shows that the use of caisim mustard plant varieties has the best effect on the growth and production of mustard plants, shown in the production of 119 gr of one plant. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan dosis pupuk eco-enzyme yang tepat untuk meningkatkan produksi tanaman sawi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan milik saudara Dito di Desa Sungai Rebo 1 Kabupaten Banyuasin pada bulan Desember 2022 sampai Februari 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan 8 kombinasi dan diulang 3 kali. Perlakuan yang digunakan adalah Dosis Pupuk Eco-Enzyme (E1: 5 ml/L, E2 : 10 ml/L dan E3 : 15 ml/L) dan Varietas Tanaman Sawi (V1 : Sawi Caisim dan V2 : Sawi Pakcoy). Peubah yang diamati adalah 1. Tinggi tanaman (cm), 2. Jumlah daun (cm), 3. Panjang daun (cm), 4. Berat segar tanaman (g). Hasil penelitian terbaik menunjukkan bahwa dosis pupuk eco-enzyme sebanyak 10 ml/L memberikan produksi terbaik dalam satu tanaman sebanyak 171 gr. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan varietas tanaman sawi caisim memberikan pengaruh yang paling baik terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman sawi, ditunjukkan pada produksi dalam satu tanaman sebanyak 119 gr.
