Abstract

Traffic jams occur in the capital city of Jakarta. The price increase of  fuel, daily tasks/activities demand that everyone have fast journey with economical cost, and save energy. The Jakarta‟s residents then make use of Trans Jakarta Bus Indonesia (Bus Way) facility as one solution to get  faster transportation, comfortable seats, and economical cost. This research proposes  the design and simulation realization of searching the shortest route for the Trans Jakarta Bus Indonesia by using a combination of Iterative Deepening (ID) and Djikstra Algorithm. It is expected that the busway commuters can choose  the right route to reach their destination with cost-effective travels. ID Algorithm is a searching algorithm  which expands all possible routes from the initial to the final state. Djikstra Algorithm is a searching algorithm of the solution value that considers distance depending on the smallest cost (the shortest path). The shortest route searching simulation using the combination of ID and Djikstra Algorithm has successfully been recognized. By using 12 testing samples of the various traveling cases, the researchens notice the average processing  time of this application, namely 0.733 second. The simulation program gives the information of the shortest route, most efficient cost, and best public facilities for the bus way commuters.  Keywords: Simulation, the shortest route, Iterative Deepening Algorithm, Djikstra Algorithm.

Abstract

Education sector in Indonesia was shocked by the total change from the previously offline-based education system to online, due to the state of the Covid-19 pandemic. No country wants to experience this pandemic, but the rapid spread has changed all sectors of life, especially the education in Indonesia. Educators are required to continue to carry out online learning activities, but not all educators can create learning video content. Moving on from this problem, an online quick education was made to make learning videos using mobile phones, which was organized by Maranatha Christian University in collaboration with Guru Mengajar untuk Nusantara and STKIP PGRI Trenggalek. The material given was flyer design techniques, photo taking techniques, and making videos with Kinemaster. The postermywall and kinemaster applications used can be downloaded on the playstore on android. The activity was open to teachers and lecturers for free and guided for one month. Participants who registered were 1059 people from various district in Indonesia and were guided by 39 instructors. At the end of the activity, 510 participants (48.16%) passed with the criteria of being able to make learning videos until they were uploaded to YouTube.

Abstract

There are several categories to detect and measure driver drowsiness such as physiological methods, subjective methods and behavioral methods. The most objective method for drowsiness detection is the physiological method. One of the physiological methods used is an electroencephalogram (EEG). In this research wavelet transform is used as a feature extraction and using support vector machine (SVM) as a classifier. We proposed an experiment of retrieval data which is designed by using modified-EAR and EEG signal. From the SVM training process, with the 5-fold cross validation, Quadratic kernel has the highest accuracy 84.5% then others. In testing Driving-2 process 7 respondents were detected as drowsiness class, and 3 respondents were detected as awake class. In the testing of Driving-3 process, 6 respondents were detected as drowsiness class, and 4 respondents were detected as awake class.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Fingerprints have been used as biometrics for personal identification or verification since a century ago. Although no exactly the same fingerprint from distinct identities was found, a perfect system for automatic fingerprint identification does not exist. The technique described here obviates the need for extracting minutiae points to match fingerprint images. This paper implements a Modified Gabor Filter (MGF). A circular tessellation of filtered image is then used to construct the ridge feature map. The fingerprint matching is based on the Euclidean distance between two corresponding feature vectors. This method can lessen noise, improving contrast between ridge and valley and also have tolerance to translation and rotation. Our system can increase the quality of image fingerprint. The achievement rate percentage of recognition is 85%.Keywords: Biometrics, Modified Gabor filters, fingerprints, matching.

Abstract

A sudden pandemic has created a learning system in Indonesia, which is usually done face-to-face, in the New Normal era, online learning is required. This sudden incident turned the wheel of life and learning 180 degrees. This paper discusses the level of readiness of students and teachers in mathematics distance learning. The level of readiness includes ownership of electronic devices, availability of internet signals, costs, support from parents or people around, skills in accessing digital learning applications, learning places, teachers who can teach well, materials, teacher guidance, solutions if they encounter problems, abstinence give up, and be able to understand distance learning material. Data obtained from the results of questionnaires and interviews with students and teachers in Indonesia. The results of the analysis of the data obtained are that students and teachers are in the criteria of being quite ready to be very ready to carry out distance learning. From the results of questionnaires and interviews, both students and teachers prefer a mixture of distance and face-to-face learning, because when it is difficult to understand the learning material, the teacher can explain directly, more able to monitor the condition of students. The weakness of distance learning is that it is constrained by internet signals, no emotional bonds, it is difficult to monitor students' abilities and higher credit costs.

Abstract

Indonesia is dominated by cities that have a history of batik, but Purwakarta does not have a history of batik. But thanks to the persistence of policy holders, Purwakarta currently has batik obtained by elevating the local wisdom of the city of Purwakarta. After surveys and interviews, several batik motifs were designed. The batik motif shape, size and position will be studied which will formulate mathematical equations based on basic geometric shapes such as circles, arches, lines, rectangles, which are implemented into the form of computer graphics (turtles) graph and explained in the form of an algorithm (pseudocode) computer programming to make autogenerative motifs on Purwakarta batik that did not exist before. Batik design is inspired by food and tourist locations which form the basis of the formation of typical Purwakarta batik motifs. Jatiluhur Dam, Datura Metel L. Flower, Sate Maranggi, Mangosteen Fruit is a local wisdom owned by the city of Purwakarta. The results of the morning glory batik design and Jatiluhur dew through mathematical and turtle charts are then formulated so that the batik motif design can be saved by documenting the mathematical equation or the pseudocode of the batik motif. With the results of digital motifs, the process of repeating patterns, duplicating and storing data becomes easier.
