Abstract

 Family an important role for hypertension clients providing them with supports, care, and collaborates with nursing for home visit purposes. In fact, not all families have a adequate response when nurses carry out family nursing care. The purpose of this study is to analyze relationship between family coping and the nurse interpersonal interaction when delivering family nursing care for client with hypertension. This study use an observational analytic method. The samples are the nurses working at the Puskesmas of  Surabaya District Health Office.The study uses  multistage sampling, recruited 110 nurses in total. Variables include family coping and interpersonal interactions. It uses questionnaire for collecting information and the validity and reliability of the questionnaires have been tested. The result of statistical analysis of spearman rho showed that family coping can improve interpersonal nursing interaction (r score 0.382). Family is responsible for providing various facilities for client with hypertension. Families may acts as care givers and establishing good relationships with nurses and other health teams is crucial. Effective coping supports the success of family nursing care for client with hypertension. The Families are encouraged to maintain effective coping while maintained good communication and accepted hypertension clients in the family.

Abstract

The use of tobacco, inactivity, alcohol consumption, and an unbalanced diet are factors that cause non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and are considered behavioral factors. Behavior includes knowledge, attitudes, and practice about periodic health checks, getting rid of cigarettes, regular physical activity, a balanced healthy diet, adequate rest, and managing stress (CERDIK) and can be used as a way to measure the risk of an individual suffering from NCDs. The purpose of this study is to describe the individual risk of suffering from NCDs based on the CERDIK behavior. This qualitative study used a cross-sectional design. A sample of 238 individuals who visited fast food restaurants in Blitar were selected by simple random sampling. Data collection used a CERDIK behavior questionnaire consisted of 20 knowledge questions, 29 attitude statements, and 20 practice statements. Data collection was conducted in July - August 2020. The risk of individuals suffering from NCDs in the low category was 8.4%, 81.1% moderate, and 10.5% high. Practice has an important role in individuals at risk of suffering from NCDs and most individuals are in the moderate category, while a small proportion are in the low and high risk category. It is hoped that health workers routinely and continuously campaign for CERDIK behavior as an effort to prevent NCDs.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus type 2 (T2DM) is a rapidly developing health problem in the world and Indonesia that causes various complications. One problem that is often encountered in patients with diabetes mellitus is diabetes distress. Diabetes distress causes low self-confidence in treating diabetes independently and this can lead to poor self-care and ultimately glycemic control is also bad. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship of self efficacy with the behavior and accuracy of independent foot care measures. This study was a cross sectional study with a sample of 54 respondents with consecutive sampling techniques in outpatients with diabetes mellitus in the Lingsar Health Center. Data collected through filling questionnaires and then analyzed through descriptive and inferential analysis. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between self efficacy and behavior (p = 0.000) and accuracy of action (p = 0.000). Self efficacy has a significant relationship to the behavior and accuracy of actions in performing foot care independently. Nurses in providing nursing interventions, especially in outpatient paisen also pay attention and help build patient confidence in conducting care independently as an effort to prevent complications. Keywords: self efficacy; foot care behavior; foot self care ABSTRAK Diabetes mellitus tipe 2 (T2DM) adalah masalah kesehatan yang berkembang pesat di dunia maupun Indonesia yang menimbulkan berbagai komplikasi. Salah satu masalah yang sering ditemui pada pasien diabetes mellitus yaitu diabetes distress. Diabetes distress menyebabkan rendahnya keyakinan diri dalam melakukan perawatan diabetes secara mandiri dan ini dapat mengakibatkan perawatan mandiri yang buruk dan pada akhirnya kontrol glikemik juga buruk. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisa hubungan self efficacy dengan perilaku dan ketepatan tindakan perawatan kaki mandiri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian cross sectional dengan sampel 54 responden dengan teknik consecutive sampling pada pasien rawat jalan dengan diabetes mellitus di Puskesmas Lingsar. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengisian kuesioner lalu dianalisis melalui analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara self efficacy dengan perilaku (p=0,000) dan ketepatan tindakan (p=0,000). Self efficacy memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan perilaku dan ketepatan tindakan dalam melakukan perawatan kaki secara mandiri. Perawat dalam memberikan intervensi keperawatan terutama pada paisen rawat jalan juga memperhatikan dan membantu membangun keyakinan diri pasien dalam melakukan perawatan secara mandiri sebagai upaya pencegahan terjadinya komplikasi. Abstract

Chronic kidney failure is a global health problem in which prevalence is steadily increasing. Social support is a mechanism for individuals to improve their self acceptance. This study is aimed to explore the association between family support and self acceptance of clients with CKF in Surabaya, Indonesia. It was an analytic observational study adopting a cross-sectional design.  The populations were clients with CKF in Surabaya. The sample size was 140 respondents, selected by simple random sampling technique. This research consisted two variables, namely self-acceptence as dependen variable and family support as independent variable. Data were collected using questionnaire, then analyzed using Spearman correlation test. The study found that the majority of clients who suffered from CKF obtained good social support and adequate self acceptance. The statistical analysis showed p-value of 0.014, so it could be concluded that there is a correlation between family support and self acceptance. The family of CKD clients should provide support for increased activity by providing opportunities to carry out daily activities independently according to their abilitiesKeywords: chronical kidney; self acceptance; family support

Abstract

DOTS strategy is a short-term treatment guide with direct supervision by supervisor taking medicine for tuberculosis patients. Supervisors should know, understand, and be able to distinguish between mild and severe side effects of anti-tuberculosis drugs. The failure of Tb treatment depends on supervisor taking medicine. Currently, never been known the perception of supervisor taking medicine about tuberculosis medication side effect. The purpose of the study to know the perception of the supervisor taking medicine about side effects for clients Tb treatment program in Blitar City. The research design used a descriptive. These result studies show the perception supervisor taking medicine about the side effects as much as 54.5% is the right category and as much as 45.5% is the wrong category. The right category perception may be the supervisor taking medicine ever receive information of tuberculosis medication side effect at the public health center while take a drug. Recommendations for health workers are providing appropriate information to the supervisor taking medicine can be improved with technique counseling and training so that improve knowledge and expertise in the management of medication side effects.

Abstract

Patient with tuberculosis who already experience 6 months of treatment may felt body alteration. The study aimed to illustrate the body alteration of Tuberculosis patients who got medication at the Public Health Centre. The design of the study used cross sectional. The sample was 141 tuberculosis patients who got medication at the Public Health Centre in Blitar which was selected by simple random sampling. The variables were height, weight, urine color, feeling of bored related to the medication and willingness to stop taking the medication routinely. The data was collected at the patient's home on August - November 2018. The data was collected by instruments of height gauge, weights, and interview form. The data was analyzed descriptively. The results showed that most of the changes were in the physical such as the weight loss, the red urine, and nausea. The patient’s nausea caused a decrease in intake and had an impact on the patient's weight that went down. It is important for nurses in Public Health Centre to provide medical services and information through health education before the first medication.

Abstract

Elderly experience physical changes, mental changes, psychosocial changes that would affect the elderly healthy lifestyle. The Method used descriptive design. The population in this research were the elderly who were registered in the territory UPTD Posyandu Health Sukorejo Blitar City in 1493 as the elderly, and the samples taken were 94 elderly Using quota sampling technique. The data was collected by interview based on a questionnaire. The data collection was conducted on 18 May until 18 June 2014. The results showed that the Healthy Lifestyle in the posyandu of elderly in region UPTD Healt Sukorejo Blitar City was good 72.3% (68 elderly). According to the Indonesia Republic healthy Deepartement (1997) in Udayana Psychology of journal (2013), defines a healthy lifestyle attempt to implement good practice in creating a healthy lifestyle and avoid bad habits that can affect health. Researchers found elderly efforts in maintaining the health status most of the elderly was optimal, it indicates that the elderly realize the importance of creating a healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

The research purpose was to describe the preventive efforts of parents in preventing juvenile delinquency. The research design was descriptive and the data was collected with a questionnaire. Thepopulation was 251 parents. The sample was 38 respondents taken by using quota sampling technique. The data collection was conducted in March-April 2015. The survey results revealed that the preventiveefforts of the parents in preventing juvenile delinquency by 84.2% (32 people) in a good category, 13.2% (5 people) in a sufficient category and 2.6% (1 person) in a bad category. Preventive efforts inbad category were in a small percentage, but it would have a negative impact if not being handled. Based on the results of the research, it is expected that school provides socialization to the parentsabout the prevention of juvenile delinquency and make a good cooperation in preventing juvenile delinquency.

Abstract

The Interdialysis Weight Gain more than 5 % of weight dry can result in negative towards patients of them hypotension , edema , shortness of breath , lightheaded and can lead to the death .Research objectives is to find interdialysis weight gain in Chronic Kidney Disease Patients. A method in this research use descriptive design .Population in this study all patients of chronic kidney disease who get hemodialisa in installation hemodialisa RSD mardi waluyo blitar are 89 peoples , uses the technique total population. Data collection is performed by measuring weight patients after hemodialisa ago and before hemodialisa next .This research result that weight gain between the two time lightweight hemodialysis 60,7%, 12,4% on average, and 26,9% of danger . Extra weight category of danger caused because patients do not adhere to diet. Recommendations from the study is expected to become an evaluation for installation hemodialisa RSD Mardi Waluyo Blitar to increase intervention on patients who get hemodialisa .

Abstract

Introduction: hypertension can occur in adults and adolescents, many factors influence the occurrence of hypertension in adolescents. The purpose of this study was to determine the risk factors that can affect the occurrence of hypertension in adolescents. Methods: The research design is a traditional review, with literature sources from the google scholar database, with inclusion criteria for articles published in 2016-2020, which can be downloaded in their entirety, equipped with DOI or ISSN or E-ISSN and cross-sectional and case-control research designs. A search using the keyword risk factor "hypertension" found 21 articles and only 5 articles that matched the inclusion criteria, then the selected articles were presented in the form of tables and narratives. Results: Risk factors for hypertension include BMI, obesity, physical activity, family history of hypertension, gender, smoking habits, stress, and the habit of consuming excess salt or sodium. Conclusion: the dominant risk factors for hypertension often occur in adolescents due to risk factors for obesity, family history of hypertension, and physical activity. It is expected for adolescents to always maintain their health and fitness such as exercise and maintaining a good diet to prevent hypertension in adolescents and at health facilities, it is necessary to prevent hypertension in adolescents, one of which is through socialization
