Abstract

Guru sebagai pelaksana kurikulum pendidikan nasional dituntut mampu mengembangkan program pembelajaran yang mengemban amanat kurikulum. Program pembelajaran seharusnya memuat secara rinci dua komponen utama yaitu kegiatan belajar siswa dan hasil belajar yang harus dicapainya. Kreativitas dan inovasi guru dalam mengembangkan program pembelajaran dimaknai sebagai kemampuan menghasilkan variasi program pembelajaran yang selaras dengan kurikulum nasional. Koherensi dari suatu program pembelajaran menjadi ukuran utama atas keselarasan atau ketaatan asas dari program pembelajaran tersebut terhadap misi kurikulum pendidikan nasional. Analisis terhadap program pembelajaran yang dikembangkan oleh mahasiswa peserta pendidikan profesi guru fisika tahun 2017 menunjukkan tingkat koherensi yang masih sangat rendah.

Abstract

Conceptual understanding involves students' abilities in the aspects of translation, interpretation, and extrapolation. A way to increase conceptual understanding is to use excel-based modeling (EBM). However, the use of excel-based modeling (EBM) has not been applied in physics learning at the junior high school level. This study aims to test the effectiveness of project-based learning assisted by excel-based modeling to increase students' conceptual understanding of wave material. The sample of this study were students of class VIII-1 junior high school who were selected using the purposive sampling technique. This study used a one-group pretest-posttest design. Research data determine the effectiveness of using excel-based modeling using a pretest and posttest in the form of 7 identical essay questions. The data obtained were analyzed using a paired-sample T-test. After the treatment, data on the increase in the value of each indicator of concept understanding were obtained, namely 91.18 (translation), 86.65 (interpretation), and 83.09 (extrapolation). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa melalui pembelajaran dengan simulasi virtual di masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa angket motivasi dan tes hasil belajar. Angket motivasi yang digunakan berupa angket tertutup. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 31 orang yang merupakan siswa kelas X TPL 1 SMK di Kabupaten Pasuruan. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling adalah cara pengambilan sampel dengan acak sederhana melalui undian. Data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui pretest dant posttest yang meliputi tes hasil belajar. Sedangkan data kualitatif diperoleh melalui lembar angket motivasi belajar siswa. Data di uji dengan analisis N-gain, uji uormalitas, dan uji t berpasangan (paired sample t-test). Berdasarkan hasil analisis N-gain tes hasil belajar menunjukkan rata-rata tes hasil belajar sebelsar 0,59 (kategori sedang). Hasil uji t berpasangan tes hasil belajar motivasi belajar mendapatkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) yang sama yaitu 0,00 kurang dari 0.05, menunjukkan perbedaan hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar yang signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil uji ini hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pembelajaran dengan simulasi virtual fisika menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran fisika dengan simulasi virtual dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan dimasa pandemic covid-19.

Abstract

This study aimed to generate a teaching package in a lesson plan and student worksheet using the TPACK integrated Collaborative Inquiry model, which can improve higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) validly and effectively. The development research design followed the four-D-models development model, consisting of 4 phases: define, design, develop, and disseminate. At define, several observations and literacy studies were carried out. At design, teaching materials were designed. The experts validated the teaching materials in development, namely two lecturers and two teachers as users. Based on the validation results, it is found that the lesson plan and student worksheet were within the good or valid criteria to be used. HOTS was measured using two-tier multiple-choice in the form of 15 questions with good categories and high-reliability categories. The feasibility test was based on expert validation. The results show that the teaching material is in good criteria, so it is suitable for use under several conditions. The implementation results can affect the differences in the results of the pretest and post-test student’s HOTS-based observation during learning and increased scores.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the problems and solutions of physics learning on the concept of newton's law of motion. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive study with a sample of students and physics teachers at Islamic Senior High School or Madrasah Aliyah in Malang. The data was collected through interviews and observations during two meetings. The first meeting was an interview section with the teachers to identify the problems in physics learning. The second meeting was the student observations for further investigation based on the findings from the interview data. This present study was designed for solving physics learning problems on the concept of newton's law of motion. The result showed that classroom learning still utilises a teacher-centred approach, resulting in poor interactive responses and learning outcomes. Besides, The school does not support enough facilities, such as learning equipment and laboratories. Therefore, teaching aids can improve the students' quality and quantity on learning the concept of newton's law of motion.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the results of the development of a test instrument for problem solving abilities. Topics focused on Work and Energy. This article was the result of research and development (R&D) by adapting the 4D model. Define done by analyzing the needs that exist in Universitas Negeri Malang. The design phase was carried out by determining the question indicators that were in accordance with the CPMK course in Basic Physics I, the appropriate cognitive domain, determining the answer key, and scoring rubric. The develop phase was carried out in three steps, namely validation by experts, legibility testing, and empirical testing. The results of research and development obtained intrument tests of feasible problem solving abilities based on the results of (1) the validators state that the instruments in the category were very feasible; (2) the readability test respondents state that the instrument is very good; and (3) empirical tests related to validity and reliability with the results of all items are valid at a significance level of 0.05 and reliable with Cronbach's Alpha coefficient is 0.746.

Abstract

Abstrak: Klinik penulisan karya ilmiah ini bertujuan membantu guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan dalam penulisan dan publikasi karya ilmiah. Hasil survey dan diskusi bersama ketua MGMP Fisika SMA Kabupaten Lumajang menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak guru yang mengalami kesulitan dalam melakukan publikasi ilmiah. Adapun faktor penghambat dalam publikasi ilmiah yang dialami guru antara lain kurangnya penguasaan TIK, kemauan dan kemampuan menulis, dan kesibukan tugas yang harus dikerjakan. Klinik penulisan karya ilmiah diadakan dengan dua kali kegiatan tatap muka dan empat kali kegiatan mandiri. Klinik penulisan karya ilmiah terdiri dari kegiatan mandiri selama 16 jam dan kegiatan tatap muka selama 16 jam. Klinik penulisan karya ilmiah yang telah diadakan menghasilkan satu artikel yang siap publikasi melalui jurnal dan tiga artikel yang masih dalam tahap penyelesaian. Hasil ini diharapkan mampu memicu semangat para guru untuk menghasilkan karya ilmiah. Pada dasarnya guru sangat antusias selama mengikuti kegiatan klinik penulisan karya ilmiah, namun kesibukan tugas di sekolah masih menjadi kendala utama dalam menyelesaikan penulisan karya ilmiah.Abstract: This scientific writing clinic aims to assist teachers in overcoming difficulties in writing and publishing scientific papers. The results of the survey and discussion with the Head of MGMP Physics at Lumajang Regency High School showed that there were still many teachers who had difficulties in conducting scientific publications. The inhibiting factors in scientific publications experienced by teachers include the lack of mastery of ICT, the willingness and ability to write, and the rush of work to be done. Scientific writing clinics are held with two face-to-face activities and four independent activities. The scientific writing clinic consists of 16 hours of independent activities and 16 hours of face-to-face activities. Writing scientific clinics that have been held produce one article that is ready for publication through journals and three articles that are still in the stage of completion. This result is expected to trigger the enthusiasm of the teachers to produce scientific work. Basically the teacher was very enthusiastic during participating in clinical writing activities, but the busy work in school was still a major obstacle in completing writing scientific papers.

Abstract

Abstrak: Harapan akan meningkatnya kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia mulai terwujud sejak diberlakukannya program sertifikasi guru oleh pemerintah sebagai upaya peningkatan kualitas dan kesejahteraan guru di Indonesia. Pemberlakuan kuota dan prioritas bagi guru yang telah memenuhi syarat minimal kualifikasi akademik dan masa kerja serta panjangnya antrian proses sertifikasi membuka kesempatan bagi guru-guru untuk mempersiapkan diri lebih dalam mengikuti sertifikasi guru dalam jabatan dengan matang. Salah satu komponen portofolio yang harus disiapkan adalah karya pengembangan profesi dimana guru dituntut untuk menghasilkan karya tulis ilmiah. Untuk itu, workshop ini bertujuan untuk membantu guru melalui pendampingan penyusunan artikel ilmiah dan publikasinya. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini tersusun dalam tiga kegiatan yakni persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Dalam pelaksanaannya, kegiatan terdiri atas workshop sebanyak enam pertemuan, diskusi dan konsultasi secara daring, serta klinik penyempurnaan naskah artikel. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SMA Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang. Hasil luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah artikel ilmiah guru yang telah dikirimkan ke seminar maupun jurnal berskala nasional atau internasional.Abstract:  The expectation on the improvement of education quality in Indonesia has started to be realized since the enactment of the Teacher Certification Program (TCP) by the government as an effort to improve teachers’ quality and prosperity in Indonesia. The implementation of quota and priority limitations for teachers who have met the minimum requirement either academically or based on years of service along with the long period of queue time for the certification process has opened the opportunity for the teachers to prepare themselves more carefully. One of the portfolio components that need to be prepared is the professional development papers where teachers are expected to write scientific papers. Hence, this workshop aims to help teachers through the writing assistance of scientific articles and publications. This community service consisted of three main activities including the preparation, the execution, and the evaluation. In the execution stage, the activities include six offline workshops, online discussion and consultation, and the clinic of article draft finishing. This workshop was held in Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) Laboratory Senior High School. Result outcome from this workshop is teachers’ scientific articles published either through national or international scale conferences or journals.

Abstract

Government policy on online learning as an effort to prevent the transmission of the spread of COVID-19 in schools, especially in classrooms. Therefore, this policy creates social restrictions and the exclusion of face-to-face learning systems and will temporarily be replaced by online learning through several digital platforms that have been selected by the teacher and each school. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Activeness and Motivation on Online Learning in Students. This research uses quantitative and qualitative approaches, researchers distribute questionnaires in the form of google form. Based on the results of research on the relationship of online learning to student learning activeness and motivation in the activeness category, 64% who answered YES and 36% answered no respectively. In the category of motivation, it shows that 78.5% answered YES and 21.5% answered NO. Based on these results, it can be seen that activeness and motivation can influence students in online learning.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of using video-based media on the activities and learning outcomes of physics class X on the subject of temperature and heat at SMK Negeri 1 Grat. As a source of learning, technology is a tool to facilitate learning that is more interesting for students, among the many learning technologies, one of them is video media, which has advantages that are quite good for the implementation of learning. Experimental research used in this research is a quasi-experimental (Quasi Experimental Design) using the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This design has a control group, but it cannot function to control external variables that affect the implementation of the experiment. Subject of this research are 25. There is a significant effect of using video-based learning media on students' learning activities. Obtained results, the responsibility of students when using video media with the OBS system application obtained an average of 62,25% at pretest and 82,67% at posttest, it can be concluded that students are more active in the experimental class than in the control class.
