Abstract

Ijen crater destination is one of the favorite of tourism object in Banyuwangi. Ijen crater has the interesting tourism that is lake crater that contains sulfur with the exotic of the blue fire, the unique of traditional miners, also the kind of flora and fauna. Moreover, ijen crater destination has superior product that is souvenir of sulfur that needed strategy to develop the existence of the product to get costumer satisfaction. The purposes of this research to know the development strategy souvenirs of sulfur in ijen crater destination Banyuwangi District and to know the development priority strategy souvenir of sulfur in ijen crater destination Banyuwangi District. As for, data analysis technique using Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE), External Factor evaluation (EFE), Matrix Internal External (IE, Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, an Threats (SWOT), and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the development strategy souvenir of sulfur. The result of this research that is the priority strategies that can recommendation to develop souvenirs of sulfur that are (1) the government gives facilities and infrastructures to do intensive promotion activities, (2) to create be kind of the interesting product, (3) coordination that intensive with stakeholder to improvement sustainable development, (4) to establish cooperation with the managers of mining as team work to sustainable development, (5) to do  training for the souvenirs of sulfur craftsman by the government, (6)to increase the quality of product that more creative.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menyusun strategi pengembangan obyek wisata Asrama Inggrisan sebagai daya tarik heritage tourism di Banyuwangi.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptip kualitatif dengan evaluasi faktor insternal dan eksternaal (IFE) dan (EFE), matrik internal external (IE) dan matrik SWOT. Strategi pengembangan yang dihasilkan antara lain mengembangan Asrama Inggrisan sebagai ikon tujuan heritage tourism; memanfaatkan bangunan Asrama Inggrisan sebagai sarana dan media edukasi bukti peninggalan stasiun kabel telegraf bawah laut zaman Belanda; menjalin kerjasama antara Pemkab Banyuwangi dengan Departemen Pertahanan TNI-AD, komunitas sejarahwan, masyarakat lokal, guide dan sektor bisnis untuk mengoptimalkan dan memperhatikan pengelolaan guna menjaga kelestarian obyek wisata heritage; melakukan revitalisasi Asrama Inggrisan untuk menjaga aset peninggalan heritage;mencipakan sinergisme dalam pengelolaan dan pelestarian cagar budaya Asrama Inggrisan; menggali lebih dalam potensi sejarah yang ada untuk diwujudkan menjadi atraksi wisata yang berbeda; menghimbau masyarakat maupun pengunjung untuk tidak melakukan perusakan/vandalism; melaksanakan workhsop/lokakarya perspektif untuk pengelolaan dan pengembangan Asrama Inggrisan sebagai penunjang kegiatan wisata heritage; melengkapi fasilitas, sarana dan prasarana untuk menunjang kegiatan wisata heritage; dan mengoptimalkan perawatan dan pengelolaan bangunan Asrama Inggrisan.

Abstract

Taman Gandrung Terakota  merupakan daya tarik wisata yang terkenal dengan pesona seribu patung gandrung. Taman Gandrung Terakota  menyuguhkan keindahan alam serta seni gandrung yang mana merupakan icon budaya Banyuwangi. Taman Gandrung Terakota menerapkan konsep pariwisata berkelanjutan dalam proses pengembangannya yang terdiri dari aspek lingkungan, aspek ekonomi dan aspek sosial budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetaui pengaruh penerapan konsep pariwisata berkelanjutan terhadap kepuasan wisatawan di Taman Gandrung Terakota  Banyuwangi. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi korelasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan nonprobability sampling dengan jumlah 100 responden. Pengolahan data penelitian menggunakan alat uji statistik yakni SPSS versi 22. Metode penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda, koefisien determinasi, koefisien korelasi, uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel aspek ekonomi berpengaruh tidak signifikan. Sedangkan variabel aspek lingkungan dan aspek sosial budaya berpengaruh postif signifikan terhadap kepuasan wisatawan di Taman Gandrung Terakota  Banyuwangi. Berdasarkan analisis uji simultan, hasil menunjukkan bahwa variabel aspek lingkungan, aspek ekonomi dan aspek sosial budaya secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan wisatawan di Taman Gandrung Terakota  Banyuwangi.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi komoditas unggulan dan daya tarik wisataprospektif yang mendukung pengembangan agrowisata dengan berorientasi pada potensi desaSumber Arum. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menyusun strategi pengembanganagrowisata berbasis community-based tourism yang bias diterapkan dalam pengembanganagrowisata desa Sumber Arum. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus dengan DesaSumber Arum sebagai objek penelitiannya. Analisis penentuan komoditas unggulan dan dayatarik wisata menggunakan metode perbandingan eksponensial (MPE). Penyusunan strategipengembangan berbasis community-based tourism menggunakan analisis IFE, EFE, IE, SWOT,dan AHP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Selada Air, seledri, dan pakis merupakankomoditas unggulan untuk pengembangan agrowisata. Strategi-strategi pengembanganprioritas yang dapat direkomendasikan kepada desa Sumber Arum untuk mengembanganagrowisata berbasis community based tourism yaitu (1) memanfaatkan potensi lahanpertanian menjadi zonasi agrowisata, (2 memberikan pelatihan dasar kepariwisataan kepadamasyarakat pelaku agrowisata, (3) bekerjasama dengan pelaku industri pariwisata untukmemperkenalkan destinasi agrowisata, (4) menciptakan brand agrowisata berbasismasyarakat, dan (5) meningkatkan keterlibatan masyarakat untuk pembaharuan produkagrowisata.Kata Kunci: Agrowisata, Community based tourism, Desa Sumber Arum, dan Strategipengembangan.

Abstract

Kabupaten Banyuwangi merupakan kabupaten yang terletak di ujung paling timur pulau Jawa, perkembangan ekonomi khususnya sektor pertanian dan pariwisata di wilayah Kabupaten Banyuwangi menunjukkan pertumbuhan yang lebih cepat dari pada sektor lainnya, kabupaten ini dikenal sebagai sentra penghasil buah naga di Jawa Timur. Setelah proses panen tanaman buah naga akan dipangkas untuk mengurangi kebutuhan hara dan merangsang tumbuhnya bunga baru. Batang buah naga yang dipangkas seringkali hanya dibuang karena dianggap limbah. Petani di Dusun Wadungdolah Desa Kaligondo telah memanfaatkan limbah batang buah naga sebagai pupuk organic. Batang buah naga harus dicacah terlebih dahulu untuk mempercepat proses pembusukan. Selama ini petani mencacah batang dengan cara manual sehingga membutuhkan waktu dan tenaga yang banyak. Pembuatan mesin pencacah batang buah naga diharapkan dapat mengefisienkan waktu pencacahan dan dapat merangsang petani-petani untuk semakin giat menggunakan pupuk organik demi terwujudnya green farming yang ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The development of tourism sector by involving the community will result in a success that suitable with the aspirations and needs of the community itself. The aim of this research is to identify the level of community participation, the affect of the level of education and the perception on community participation in managing Selendang Arum Waterfall as a tourist attraction. This research uses survey method. The samples of this research are 136 people of Sumber Arum Villager. The result of this research shows that level of Sumberarum villager participation in managing Selendang Arum Waterfall is 83%, it implies highly positive (active community participation). Based on the results of the analysis, the perception has a significant affect on community participation, however the level of education does not have a significant affect on community participation and simultaneously the level of education and the perception have a significant affect on the community participation.

Abstract

Handicraft from bamboo is a product of bamboo processing, which will later have to be shaped as desired so that it becomes a decoration or used item that has a selling value in the Gintangan area. The process from working bamboo to become a handicraft includes the following methods: cutting bamboo, splitting, cutting, bending, and finally, the weaving process. With the bamboo roll machine, it can use to turn the bamboo strips according to the wishes and needs of the craftsmen, so that this can help overcome difficulties in the process of bending the slices which have many size variations. This activity begins with the identification of problems with partners, planning the rolling machine, mentoring / counseling, and handing over tools. The result of this activity is to help craftsmen to accelerate the process of bending bamboo strips because the production capacity of bending is increased five times for a 5 mm thick slice and 120 times for a 0.25 mm slice thickness, thereby accelerating and accelerating production. Partners expressed hope that the activity would continue in the future because the process used was primarily manual.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify superior commodities and prospective tourist attractions that support the development of agro-tourism oriented to the potential of Sumber Arum village. Besides, this study also aims to develop agro-tourism development strategies based on community based tourism that can be applied in the development of agro-tourism in Sumber Arum village. This research used a case study approach with Sumber Arum village as the object of research. Analysis of determining superior commodities and tourist attractions used exponential comparison (MPE) method. The arrangement of development strategies is based on community based tourism using analysis of IFE, EFE, IE, SWOT, and AHP. The results showed that water lettuce, celery, and ferns were superior commodities for the development of agro-tourism. Priority development strategies that could be recommended to the Sumber Arum village to develop agro-tourism based on community based tourism are (1) utilizing the potential of agricultural land into agro-tourism zoning, (2) providing training about basic tourism to agro-tourism society,(3) collaborating with tourism industry stakeholders to introduce agro-tourism destinations, (4) creating community-based agro-tourism brands, and (5) increasing community involvement for renewal of agro-tourism products.

Abstract

Pelangi Migrant is a community consisting of former female workers who work abroad, and it is established at the end of 2018. This group has superior products, namely woven bags made from plastic and various processed foods based on home industries. The average production created in 2019 was around 1500 bags per month, and during this Covid-19 Pandemic, the Pelangi Migrant group could only produce about 500 per month. The production of processed dragon fruit lunkhead is also affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, which originally made 70 Kg/month. During this pandemic, it was only able to produce 25 Kg/month. The main objective of this activity is not only to focus on increasing income but for the village, a village identity or village characteristic will also be formed, which will become a branding in the formation of superior village products focused on the center of woven bag crafts. The activities carried out were training on woven bags made from jali, business management training, branding, digital marketing, and appropriate technology in the production process of processed Dodol. This activity results in increased creativity and productivity of the community, and income also increases.

Abstract

Blimbingsari beach is one of a kind of Banyuwangi’s beach that have a high potential on grilled fish special culinary aspect This beach became the pioneer of Banyuwangi’s very first seafood and grilled fish restaurant with ‘lesehan’ type, and that was the brand was formed ever since. Thus also makes the image of Blimbingsari skyrocket and built perspective of tourists for years and the paradigm brings many people to come and try the dish by themselves. However, Blimbingsari beach has not optimalize the brand identity they have and has no tagline or destination icon to increase the branding yet. The main purpose of this research is to formulate of priority strategies of Blimbingsari destination branding as a grilled fish culinary center which lies in Banyuwangi.This research is using qualitative descriptive with SWOT analysis and AHP for making desicion in a path of top priority strategies. And the result itself, shows that the culinary potential has been being built by brand and long-journey tourist perspective, the taste of the grilled fish itself, best price dishes and comfortable ambiance. The highest strenght factor owned Blimbingsari beach is having a strategic location, the main weakness factor is inadequate food utensils. The major opportunity of factor is the sinergy between to communities to increase regional profit and the main threat factor is the emergence of new competitors. In addition, this research also produced five priority strategies.Keywords: Blimbingsari beach, destination branding, grilled fish culinaryAbstrakPantai Blimbingsari merupakan salah satu pantai di Kabupaten Banyuwangi yang memiliki potensi kuliner yaitu ikan bakar. Citra kuliner ini terbentuk karena Pantai Blimbingsari menjadi pionir warung dengan sajian ikan bakar yang mengusung tema lesehan di Banyuwangi. Hal ini menjadikan citra kuliner Pantai Blimbingsari melejit dan membangun perspektif wisatawan selama bertahun-tahun. Namun, Pantai Blimbingsari belum memaksimalkan brand identity yang dimiliki seperti belum ada ikon dan tagline destinasi untuk meningkatkan branding-nya. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah merumuskan strategi prioritas destination branding Pantai Blimbingsari sebagai sentra kuliner ikan bakar di Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis SWOT serta AHP sebagai metode pengambilan keputusan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan potensi kuliner ikan bakar meliputi citra dan perspektif wisatawan yang telah terbentuk sejak lama, cita rasa yang lezat, harga yang terjangkau serta suasananya yang nyaman. Faktor kekuatan tertingginya adalah lokasinya yang strategis dan faktor kelemahan utamanya adalah penggunaan alat-alat saji yang kurang layak. Serta faktor peluang tertingginya adalah sinergi antar masyarakat untuk meningkatkan profit daerah dan ancaman utamanya adalah munculnya kompetitor baru. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menghasilkan 5 strategi prioritas.Kata kunci: destination branding, kuliner ikan bakar, pantai Blimbingsari
