Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of communication from community leaders in development planning including the construction of village roads, the development of drinking water sources, the National Community Empowerment Program (PNPM) Mandiri, the preservation of community traditions and the construction of mosques. in Tanjung Alam Village, Sei Dadap District, Asahan District. Participation of community leaders is involvement carried out by non-formal circles. When talking about the community, it means talking about the community itself, community leaders are representatives of the village community. In this study, researchers used descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. There were 7 informants in this study taken using a purposive sampling technique, including the Head of Tanjung Alam Village, 2 community leaders of Tanjung Alam and 4 members of the Tanjung Alam Village community. The researcher used an interactive data analysis model to describe the results of the research into a data analysis technique and to check the validity of the researcher's data using a triangulation technique. The focus of this research is the communication role of Community Leaders in development planning in Tanjung Alam Village. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive qualitative, namely collecting data by conducting interviews with related parties. The results of the research show that the role of communication of community leaders is to increase knowledge in development so that development planning is carried out by referring to applicable regulations, and upholding community ethics and values .

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the use of technology-based Goggle Class Room (GCR) communication media. Qualitative descriptive research method technique with data collection through questionnaires using google forms. The respondents of this study are students in the third (three) semester of the Management study program, Faculty of Economics, Asahan University for the 2023/2024 Academic Year who took the Business Communication course. The number of 50 respondents, representatives of 5 classes. Taken using purposive sampling technique covering 10 people per class. The results showed that the majority of respondents, 64%, said they "strongly agree" in the use of GCR learning media because it is very practical and efficient because it is used anytime and anywhere, so students can no longer reason if they are late in submitting assignments. GCR is an effective learning medium used by lecturers, as seen in the respondents' answers stating 58% on the criteria "strongly agree" and respondents' answers 86% on the criteria 'strongly agree". The conclusion of this study is that GCR learning media is a technology-based application that facilitates access between lecturers and students to discuss business communication lecture materials.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan produk yang dikembangkan berupa Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) berbantuan aplikasi Wizer.me di SMA Negeri 1 Pulau Rakyat. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan 4D dengan tahap pendefinisan, perancangan, pengembangan dan penyebaran. Namun penelitian ini, hanya sampai pada tahap pengembangan. Penelitian dilatar belakangi oleh penggunaan LKS yang masih monoton karena kurangnya soal yang mampu mendorong kemampuan peserta didik untuk memecahkan masalah dan minimnya penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil validasi yang dilihat dari 3 validator mencapai persentase 93,78% dengan kategori sangat valid. Sedangkan hasil praktikalitas diperoleh dari angket respon pendidik dan peserta didik. Angket respon pendidik menunjukkan persentase akhir 92,50% oleh 1 responden dan angket respon peserta didik menunjukkan persentase akhir 90,45% oleh 31 responden dengan kategori sangat praktis. Adapun hasil keefektifan dapat dilihat dari ketuntasan 28 dari 31 peserta didik pada tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah mencapai presentase 90,32% dengan kategori sangat efektif. Sebagaimana hasil penelitian disimpulkan LKPD yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif sehingga layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to find out how the Small Group Discussion learning process is implemented in students' critical thinking abilities. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. Where operations in this research are described into four stages in the form of a cycle, namely the planning, action, observation and reflection stages. The subjects in this research were STMIK Royal Kisaran students and the object in this research was students' critical thinking skills using the Small Group Discussion method. The research instruments for collecting data were initial tests, learning outcomes tests, interviews and observations. Based on the research results, the total score obtained from the implementation of learning in cycle 1 in class was categorized as less successful with an average score of 2.5. The total score obtained in cycle 2 was categorized as less successful with an average score of 2.88. The total score obtained from the implementation of learning in cycle 3 was categorized as successful with an average score of 3.75. Thus, in cycle 3 the implementation of learning was categorized as successful.Keywords: small group discussion; critical thinking abilities Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan proses pembelajaran Small Group Discussion dalam kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Dimana operasional dalam penelitian ini dijabarkan menjadi empat tahap yang berupa siklus yaitu tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa STMIK Royal Kisaran dan objek dalam penelitian ini kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa menggunakan metode Small Group Discussion. Instrumen penelitian dalam mengumpulkan data adalah tes awal, tes hasil belajar, wawancara dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh Jumlah skor yang diperoleh dari pelaksanaan Pembelajaran pada siklus 1 di kelas dikategorikan kurang berhasil dengan rata-rata skor 2,5. Jumlah skor yang diperoleh pada siklus 2 dikategorikan kurang berhasil dengan rata-rata skor 2,88. Jumlah skor yang diperoleh dari pelaksanaan Pembelajaran pada siklus 3 dikategorikan berhasil dengan rata-rata skor 3,75. Dengan demikian pada siklus 3 pelaksanaan pembelajaran dikategorikan berhasil.Kata kunci: small group discussion; kemampuan berpikir kritis
