Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the perspective and meaning in the tradition of child birth in the Bugis community in Talaka Village, Pangkep Regency. The research method used is a qualitative research method with as many as 4 (four) informants, namely traditional birth attendants and the general public who use the services of traditional birth attendants with data collection techniques carried out in two ways, namely, primary data and secondary data. The method of data collection by conducting observations, interviews, documentation. The results show that ritual communication is always identified with habits or routines, understands rituals as a hereditary action that also contains transcendental values, rituals have a relationship with voluntary performances that are carried out from generation to generation based on habits. As a sociocultural unit, the community has long had a set of traditional ceremonies. Until now they still maintain the values contained in the traditional ceremony. Considering that these ceremonies have spiritual and social functions, psychologically it can create peace of mind, feel safe and calm that can be felt in the heart.

Abstract

Film is one of the mass communication media that can be enjoyed by all circles. Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens is an Indonesian film that has family conflicts that are presented as the core of this film. In this study, the film Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens was analyzed using semiotic analysis according to Charles Sanders Peirce and semiotics according to Roland Barthes. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach in analyzing the symbols of family conflict according to the semiotics of Charles Sanders Peirce and Roland Barthes. The study lasted for one month by observing film footage. The analysis unit of this study is the film Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens and a collection of cuts of scenes in the film Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens. Using Charles Sanders Peirce's theory of semiotics and Roland Barthes's theory of semiotics. The results showed that the meaning of representations, objects, interpretants, denotations and connotations of the film Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens produced four symbols of family conflict: conflicts between married couples, conflicts between fathers and children, conflicts between mothers and children and conflicts with extended families

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the optimization of Communication Department of Tourism, Youth and sports as well as inhibiting and supporting factors in the development of Tourism Village. This study uses the method of quality description, with information in this study as many as eight (8) people, data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The development of Rammang – Rammang Tourism Village is to build image and cooperation by doing development to the tourism management community through training on improving human resources capacity to improve the welfare and prosperity of the community in managing a directed Tourism Village. The supporting and inhibiting factors are in the management of Rammang-Rammang tourism development as a geological park or geo park Maros-Pangkep, because Rammang-Rammang is the 2nd largest karst mountain area in the world.

Abstract

This study uses qualitative research methods and data collection techniques of observation and documentation. The study was conducted using primary and secondary data analysis techniques through the observations of researchers in the film A Perfect Fit. This research began when I watched the film A Perfect Fit, in this film I saw that there were Bugis and Balinese cultures which became cultural elements in this film. The Bugis culture shown in this film is the Mappacci tradition is one of the hereditary icons that still exists today. Mappacci is a hereditary traditional ritual of the Bugis-Makassar tribe before the marriage contract or ijab qabul. The main meaning of the mappacci is the purity of the prospective bride and groom’s heart to face tomorrow which will ente the household ark to let go of his single life. Balinese culture contained in this film is the traditional Melukat procession, melukat is a process of self-purification, the melukat process is usually held on Hindu religious days and is carried out in historical places, in temples or bathing places and the sea in Bali.

Abstract

This research started from the finding of communication phenomena in traditional markets. In the traditional market the process of buying and selling transactions with interpersonal communication (face to face) between the seller and the buyer. Bargaining in buying and selling in traditional markets is common in the process of transactions (payments) or even without transactions because there is no agreement between the seller and the buyer. The process of buying and selling transactions begins with greetings, the process of bargaining until the transaction is colored by conversations between the seller and the buyer that even leaves the main topic. The process in these stages forms a communication pattern. The formulation of the problem to be answered in this study is how the pattern of communication between sellers and buyers in buying and selling transactions in traditional markets is. This study examines the communication patterns of sellers and buyers in the transaction process in traditional markets. The focus in this research is the communication component in buying and selling transactions in traditional markets. Using the ethnographic method of communication, with participant observation and in-depth interviews with five seller informants and five buyer informants who were selected using a purposive sampling technique with predetermined criteria. The results of this study indicate that sellers and buyers in transactions use dyadic communication patterns, there is a symbolic interactionism model communication process between the seller and the buyer, the unique communication component is found in verbal (language) and non-verbal messages (clothing, touch, body language) and effects and context of communication. The effect of communication in the process of buying and selling transactions that can give birth to intimacy between the seller and the buyer. The context of communication is not only about the topic of buying and selling transactions, but also about other topics such as personal gossip, economics, education, religion, culture, social and even politics. This research requires further research with a different paradigm so that it can be further developed in an ethnographic communication research.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas komunikasi organisasi dalam pengelolaan hutan pinus tala-tala oleh kelompok sadar wisata. jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan wawancara dengan pihak terkait. Data penelitian ini terdiri dari data sekunder yang diperoleh dengan menelah dokumen atau data serta literatur yang berkaitan dengan objek penelitian. sedangkan data primer yang diperoleh pada saat wawancara, data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kualitatif yaitu dengan menjelaskan permasalahan-permasalahan yang dibahas dalam skripsi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui strategi komunikasi pembangunan pertanian Uptd Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian Kecamatan Cenrana Kabupaten Maros dalam meningkatkan hasil panen padi petani. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif deskripstif yang menggambarkan dan menjelaskan fakta atau fenomena tentang bagaimana strategi yang digunakan oleh Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian dalam meningkatkan hasil panen padi petani yang ada di Kecamatan Cenrana. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi pembangunan pertanian yang dilakukan oleh Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian Kecamatan Cenrana adalah dengan melakukan penyediaan dan perbaikan infrastruktur pertanian yang ada. Melakukan juga perluasan lahan pertanian, membangun irigasi untuk pengairan ke lahan pertanian para petani sehingga petani dapat terus melakukan pembajakan sawah tanpa harus khawatir kekurangan air untuk lahan pertanian mereka dengan memanfaatkan teknologi yang semakin canggih petani dapat menggunakannya untuk mempercepat proses pertanian mereka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berlangsung selama kurang lebih satu bulan lamanya berlokasi di Kecamatan Balanipa Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. Adapun informan penelitian adalah budayawan Mandar dan Warga pesisir pantai serta pemilik perahu Sandeq. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah Kualitatif Deskriptif. Menggunakan metode Wawancara Observasi dan Dokumentasi. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Makna sandeq bagi masyarakat mandar khususnya di kecamatan Balanipa pun sesuai dengan konsturksi sosial yang terjadi ditengah kehidupan masyarakat, pemaknaan sandeq baik oleh masyarakat pesisir pantai bahkan pemilik sekalipun berbeda – beda sesuai pengalaman mengenai sandeq yang dialami oleh masyarakat tersebut. Dan yamg palin penting perahu Sandeq banyak memuat symbol komunikasi yang syarat akan mandar makna budaya di masyarakat mandar.

Abstract

Ecological literature is an approach or method used to understand the relationship between ecology and literature. Literature connects human life with the surrounding natural environment. The focus of the study is how literature parses its environment so that it can be a concern for its readers that the natural environment is an ecosystem for human life so that it needs to be maintained and or preserved. The poems that are the object of study in this research are poems that have ecological literary nuances. The ecological literature referred to in this study is poetry that talks about the sea. The sea as a vast source of livelihood, so the poet is interested in writing in his work so that readers understand about the sea as one of the ecosystems that is very urgent in the life of mankind in the universe or on this planet earth. To reveal the character values of the selected poems, an ecological approach to literature is used.
