Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to describe the influence of constructivistic models on improving the ability to write lecture texts for students in class XI of IPS Sma Negeri 16 Makassar. This research is a class action study. The subject in this study was the students of class XI ips sma Negeri 16 Makassar which amounted to 36 students. This research data was collected from tests of the ability to write lecture and observation texts. Furthermore the data is analyzed using quantitative description analysis and qualitative analysis. The results showed that the activities shown by students from activities that had been carried out in cycles 1 to 2 showed different attitudes. After the action is carried out in cycle 2 students become more active in learning, students are not silent and passive in cycle 1 but students follow the instructions given by researchers, besides that students also show interest and enthusiasm in the learning process. The spirit of students in the learning process is very visible and students more often ask related questions that are not yet understood. Student test scores at the time of student presiklus activities that reached KKM as many as 2 people or by 5%. In cycle 1 activities, students who reached KKM as many as 10 students or by 27% in cycle 2 students who reached KKM as many as 32 students or as many as 88%.Keyword: Reading, Talk Text, Constructivistic model

Abstract

Writing skill is one of the most important language skills to be taught to students. To be able to practice writing skills, the teacher should use the right learning model. The right learning model to practice writing skills is Project Based Learning. Project Based Learning is a learning model that involves students in a project activity so that learning becomes more active, meaningful, and fun. The purpose of this study was to improve the writing skills of class XII students of SMA LPP-UMI on historical story text material through a project based learning model. This research is a type of classroom action research. Data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that there was an increase in the average results of historical story texts from 61 in the pre-cycle to 68 in the first cycle, and 79 in the second session with the percentage of students who finished learning 91.10%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the project learning model can improve students' writing skills on historical story text material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak berita menggunakan media sosial pada siswa, yaitu model yang menggunakan media sosial pada siswa kelas X Pesantren Mizanul’ulum Sandrobone. Penelitian ini bersifat penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam bersiklus. Setiap siklus terdapat empat tahap yaitu, tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap observasi dan evaluasi, serta tahap refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas X di Pesantren Mizanul’ulum Sandrobone yang berjumlah 30 orang siswa. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan tes dan nontes. Pada tahap perencanaan siklus I dan siklus II, memiliki kemiripan pada rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, yang berbeda adalah langkah pembelajaran. Langkah pembelajaran yang dilakukan pada siklus I belum terlaksana secara maksimal dan pada siklus II dilaksanakan secara keseluruhan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran siklus I belum optimal yaitu 63,33%, berbeda pada siklus II yang mengalami perubahan lebih efektif yaitu 83,34%. Dibuktikan pada siklus II siswa lebih antusias dan termotivasi dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Evaluasi pembelajaran pada siklus I belum optimal karena ada beberapa langkah pembelajaran yang tidak terlaksana dengan baik dan berpengaruh pada pencapaian hasil belajar sedangkan pada siklus II, langkah pembelajaran terlaksana dengan baik dan pencapaian hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar menyimak berita menggunakan media sosial pada siswa kelas X Pesantren Mizanul’ulum Sandrobone mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan sebagai penguatan pendidikan karakter dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai kesabaran, kebaikan, dan kesederhanaan pada siswa melalui lagu daerah Bugis Ininnawa Sabbarae. Penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui lagu daerah Bugis diduga relevan dengan fenomena kehidupan hyper reality saat ini. Ininnawa sabbarae adalah lagu daerah Bugis sebagai warisan budaya lokal yang biasanya dinyanyikan oleh para orang tua untuk penanaman karakter pada anak-anaknya. Metode pelaksanaan yaitu pelatihan dan pengenalan lagu daerah Bugis dengan melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan evaluasi. Target kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah guru dan siswa dengan melibatkan siswa sebanyak 20 orang. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan tentang presentasi kenaikan pengetahuan siswa tentang karakter yang terdapat dalam lagu daerah Bugis Ininnaawa Sabbarae. Terdapat juga peningkatan kemampuan siswa sebanyak 60% dengan baik dan 25% yang memahami tentang karakter sabar, karakter baik dan karakter sederhana. Siswa mengalami peningkatan ketertarikan untuk mengetahui lagu daerahnya sebanyak 100% setelah memahami muatan karakter dalam lagu Ininnawa Sabbarae. Berdasarkan jawaban hasil unpan balik setelah mengadakan pelatihan pengenalan kandungan karakter lagu dalam sdaerah Bugis dengan metode bernyanyi maka terjadi peningkatan pemahaman karakter, dan siswa merasa sangat puas..

Abstract

This activity aims to strengthen character education by instilling the values of patience, kindness, and simplicity in students through the Bugis Ininnawa Sabbarae folk song. The strengthening of character education through bugis folk songs is thought to be relevant to the phenomenon of hyper reality life. Ininnawa sabbarae is a Bugis folk song as a local cultural heritage that is usually sung by parents for the cultivation of character in their children. The implementation method is training and introduction of Bugis folk songs through the stages of planning, implementing, observing, and evaluating. The target of this training activity is teachers and students with 20 students involved. The results of the activity showed about the presentation of the increase in students' knowledge about the characters contained in the Bugis Ininnaawa Sabbarae folk song.  There was also a 60% increase in the ability of students to understand the character of patience, good character and simple character.  Students experienced a 100% increase in interest in knowing their folk songs after understanding the character content in the song Ininnawa Sabbarae. Based on the answers from the results of the return after conducting training on the introduction of song character content in the Bugis area with the singing method, there was an increase in character understanding, and students felt very satisfied

Abstract

This folkloric story writing skill aims to strengthen students' character education by instilling the value of national character contained in local regional stories. Another goal is to preserve oral stories as a wealth of the nation's local culture. The method of implementation is training and introduction to oral stories. This activity consists of several stages, namely planning, implementation. and evaluation. The first stage is to plan activities by compiling material that will be used in training. The second stage is the implementation which consists of activities to make a pre-test to find out students' understanding of local stories in their area before students are treated to oral stories. Furthermore, the activity of listening to stories and writing. The third stage is to evaluate the students' ability to write storylines and read back in front of the class. This activity involved 20 students and a teacher Indonesian as many as two people. The results of the activity showed about: 1) a reminder of students' understanding of the story title, characters, and local storylines of their area. 2) improving students' ability to write folklore plots. 3) after listening and writing skills training there is an increase in students' appeal to know more about their regional stories. 4) strengthening students' character education through folklore in their area has proven to have a significant improvement after several cycles of providing story material

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) describe the form of interaction of politeness speech acts in learning Indonesian using the discussion method in class XI IPA 2 at SMAN 1 Bantaeng and 2) describe the role of politeness speech acts in learning Indonesian using the discussion method in class XI IPA 2 in SMAN 1 Bantaeng. This research was conducted in class XI IPA 2 SMAN 1 Bantaeng with a total of 32 students consisting of 18 female students and 14 male students. Data collection techniques used interviews, recording and recording techniques which were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive research type. Using the discussion method in classroom learning with the results of the research showing that the student discussion method is more active and increases politeness in speaking. It can be seen that the results of the data on compliance with the maxims of tact show that there are 21 utterances that are in accordance with the principles of politeness maxims. Each utterance with its respective maxims has the role of speech act such as locutionary, illocutionary and perlocutionary. Researchers found that there were 34 speeches to be analyzed in accordance with the adherence to the principle of politeness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses penerapan metode demonstrasi dalam pembelajaran menulis Teks eksposisi, dan mendeskripsikan hasil menulis  teks eksposisi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Data dan sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu  1) data proses aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan metode demonstrasi 2) Seluruh siswa kelas X Albert Einstein SMA Negeri 11 Pangkep yang berjumlah 36 siswa terdiri dari 8 laki-laki dan 28 perempuan. Teknik yang digunakan dalam memperoleh data yaitu observasi dan tes. Setelah data diperoleh selanjutnya data tersebut di analisis dengan teknik  deskrptif kualitatif dan teknik kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 2 siklus. Hasil penelitian siklus I menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata belajar siswa  sebesar 73 dan pada siklus II menunjukkan nilai rata-rata belajar siswa sebesar  82.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the communication pattern between the Toraja ethnic community and ethnic immigrants in North Rantepao Toraja City and to find out how to adjust communication and behavior between the Toraja ethnic community and the immigrant ethnic community in the North Rantepao Toraja City. This study used descriptive qualitative research methods. This study seeks to reveal data or information related to communication patterns between the Toraja Ethnic Community and Ethnic Immigrants in North Rantepao Toraja City. The informants selected in this study were determined based on certain criteria. This research was conducted by collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. This research was conducted for one month and is located in the city of Rantepao, North Toraja. The results showed that the immigrant ethnic community living in Rantepao City used Indonesian and Toraja as their daily language. The communication process that occurs between the Toraja ethnic community and ethnic immigrants is a process of adaptation to the environment and the process of repeating messages. Then from this process was born the communication pattern used by the Toraja ethnic community and ethnic immigrants in communicating, namely the two-way communication pattern and the interactive, transactional and dynamic multi-way communication pattern. Where between the two ethnic groups exchange functions that run naturally without taking into account the very striking language differences between the two different ethnicities, so that harmony between them is maintained and there are no misunderstandings. Because the immigrant ethnic community has been able to adjust their behavior and understand the language used by the Toraja ethnic community because they often interact and greet each other when they meet, they can understand and respect each other.
