Abstract

Abstract The problem of media utilization is experienced by teachers in Pasirkiamis Kec. Pasirwangi Samarang Village, Garut Regency. The village is projected to be a training village because of the potential of human resources it has. These efforts are realized through the implementation of Community Service activities in related villages. The form of activity offered to the community is Training to Utilize Playstore Application for Improving Reading Teaching Skills. In general, this training aims to develop teacher media literacy competencies for the purposes of BDR activities by utilizing the Playstore application on their respective devices, building the independence of the target audience in utilizing media. Pasirwangi Samarang Garut Regency was able to utilize the Playstore application on their respective devices, building the independence of the target audience in utilizing the media, not only the Playstore application but also Google Classroom and Augmented Reality in PJJ or BDR activities during the pandemic, as well as the public perception of media literacy of teachers in Pasirkiamis Village, Pasirwangi Samarang District, Garut Regency by using a Media Literacy questionnaire based on individual competence framework is very high. Abstrak Permasalahan pemanfaatan media dialami oleh para guru di Desa Pasirkiamis Kec. Pasirwangi Samarang Kabupaten Garut. Desa tersebut diproyeksikan untuk dijadikan desa pelatihan karena potensi sumber daya manusia yang dimilikinya. Upaya tersebut direalisasikan melalui pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat di desa terkait. Bentuk kegiatan yang ditawarkan kepada masyarakat ialah Pelatihan Memanfaatkan Aplikasi Playstore untuk Peningkatan Kemampuan Mengajar Membaca. Hasil evaluasi mengarah pada beberapa simpulan di antaranya para guru di Desa Pasirkiamis Kec. Pasirwangi Samarang Kabupaten Garut mampu memanfaatkan aplikasi Playstore di gawainya masing-masing, membangun kemandirian khalayak sasaran dalam memanfaatkan media, tidak hanya aplikasi Playstore tetapi juga Google Classroom serta Augmented Reality dalam kegiatan PJJ atau BDR selama masa pandemi, serta persepsi khalayak mengenai literasi media para guru di Desa Pasirkiamis Kecamatan Pasirwangi Samarang Kabupaten Garut dengan menggunakan angket Literasi Media berbasis Individual Competence Framework sangat tinggi.

Abstract

Abstract Indonesian language skills are basically formed due to training both naturally and through education. Language skills are needed as a means of community life skills. Likewise, at an early age, children who are in this golden age need to be well supported by their skills. At TKQ Nura'eni, Indonesian language teaching training is carried out so that students can learn. Teachers realize that students' linguistic potential must be directed and supported. The linguistic potential of students has been directed to three languages, namely regional languages, Indonesian and Arabic. This is because the students had previously been in contact with Arabic in their daily routines, namely through reading Iqra, the Koran, and memorizing prayers. This linguistic potential must be developed. So this counseling is carried out using a method that has been adapted to the cognitive development stage of early childhood, namely the QnA teaching method through singing activities. This will make it easier for children to process the language material that is being delivered. It turned out that the results were very maximal, and supported their language development in getting to know them in various ways. Abstrak Keterampilan berbahasa Indonesia pada dasarnya terbentuk karena adanya latihan baik secara alami maupun melalui pendidikan. Keterampilan berbahasa diperlukan sebagai alat kecakapan hidup masyarakat. Bagitu pula pada usia dini, anak-anak yang berada pada masa emas ini perlu untuk didukung keterampilanya dengan baik. Di TKQ Nura’eni ini dilakukan pelatihan pengajaran bahasa Indonesia agar dapat dipelajari siswa. Para pengajar menyadari bahwa potensi kebahasaan siswa harus diarahkan dan didukung. Potensi kebahasaan siswa sudah diarahkan pada tiga bahasa yaitu bahasa daerah, bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Arab. Hal ini dikarenakan para siswa sebelumnya sudah bersentuhan dengan bahasa Arab dalam rutinitas kesehariannya, yaitu melalui kegiatan membaca Iqra, Alquran, serta hafalan doa-doa. Potensi kebahasaan ini tentu harus dikembangkan. Maka penyuluhan ini dilakukan dengan metode yang telah disesuaikan dengan tahap perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini, yaitu metode pengajaran QnA melalui kegiatan bernyanyi. Hal ini akan mempermudah anak untuk memproses materi bahasa yang sedang disampaikan. Ternyata hasilnya sangat maksimal, dan mendukung perkembangan bahasa mereka dalam mengenal mereka pada berbagai hal.

Abstract

Abstract Women are central in life. Of course, women's education has an important role, so women need to get a higher education. In Babakan village, Sindangsuka village, many women are still teenagers but are married and even have children. This makes the mothers do not have the maximum education to educate their children. The average is elementary, junior high, high school and a very small proportion are college graduates. The service is carried out using a n expository method, by providing an understanding of the importance of education at all levels of society, especially parents. In addition, by collecting information on the educational background of women in this area. This activity had a positive result, namely a change in people's views about the importance of education for women. In addition, this activity also provides direction and motivation for teenagers to continue their education to a higher level. Activities like this need to be continued, because in the Garut area there are still many people who are not aware of the importance of education, especially for women Abstrak Perempuan merupakan sentral dalam kehidupan. Tentu saja dalam pendidikan perempuan memiliki peran penting, maka pendidikan yang tinggi perlu dienyam oleh para perempuan. Di kampung Babakan desa Sindangsuka banyak perempuan yang masih remaja akan tetapi sudah menikah bahkan memiliki anak. Hal tersebut menjadikan para ibu tersebut belum memiliki pendidikan yang maksimal untuk mendidik putra-putrinya. Rata-rata SD, SMP, SMA dan sebagian kecil sekali yang merupakan lulusan perguruan tinggi. Pengabdian dilakukan dengan metode ekspositori, dengan memberikan pemahaman terkait pentingnya pendidikan pada semua lapisan masyarakat, terutama para orang tua. Selain itu dengan, mengumpulkan informasi mengenai latar belakang pendidikan para perempuan di daerah ini. Kegiatan ini mendapatkan hasil yang positif yaitu perubahan pandangan masyarakat tentang pentingnya pendidikan bagi perempuan. Selain itu, kegiatan ini pun memberikan arahan dan motivasi pada para remaja untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi. Kegiatan seperti ini perlu terus dilakukan, karena di daerah Garut masih banyak masyarakat yang kurang sadar akan pentingnya pendidikan terutama untuk para perempuan.
