Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efforts of school personnel in realizing child-friendly schools at the 110 Pekanbaru State Elementary School. This type of research is qualitative research. This approach uses an approach that is holding data collection or the reality of the problem based on any research that has been explored or by the respondent. The data collected is in the form of written or spoken words from the people being observed. The results of the research on various plans that have been prepared later in alternative policies in which there are guidelines for developing programs and activities for the protection and education of children in the SRA. Thus, the formulation of the problem regarding the efforts of school personnel in realizing the 110 Pekanbaru public elementary school has been in accordance with the planning stages and has met the standard operating procedures for the Sekolah Ramah Anak program.

Abstract

Civics learning at school is an easy and fun lesson when a teacher is able to aplly a model that attracts students to learn. But in reality so far there are still many teachers who use conventional learning models so that learning becomes boring and students do not participate in the learning process which results in low student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the differences in PKn learning outcomes before and after implementing the Quantum Teaching model. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research with experimental methods. The form of this study was pre-experimental (non-design) ukwith one-group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted in class III of SDN 015 Tandun, Tandun District, Rokan Hulu Regency, which amounted to 20 students. Based on the results of the study obtained an average pretest that is equal to 39.75. while the posttest average is 70.25. The average N-Gain value is 0.52 with moderate interpretation. The results of the t test are obtained that the tcount score is greater than t table or 58.08> 2.0930. This is in accordance with the Reject H0 criteria, if thitung> t table. This proves that there are significant differences in PKn learning outcomes of grade 3 students of SDN 015 Tandun between before implementing the quantum teaching model and after implementing the quantum teaching model.

Abstract

This study aims to produce digital comic media based on cultural diversity in learning energy sources class IV theme II in elementary schools. This type of research is development research (R&D) using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The data in this study were obtained using a questionnaire (questionnaire). The results of the validation carried out by validators and practitioners on digital comic media consisting of 6 aspects of the assessment got an average score of 89.75% with a very valid category. The validation carried out by media experts got a score of 92.31%, the validation carried out by material experts got a score of 86.54%, the validation carried out by linguists got a score of 99.04%, the validation carried out by practitioner I got a score of 82.69 %, and the validation carried out by practitioner II got a score of 93.27%. The subjects of this study were fourth grade elementary school students at SDIT Raudaturrahmah Pekanbaru. The results of the one-to-one trial obtained an average score of 84% by indicating a very feasible category. The results of the limited trial got an average score of 84.81% with a very decent category. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that comics media based on cultural diversity in class IV energy source learning in elementary schools are appropriate for elementary school students.

Abstract

This study is based on low learning students’ social science outcomes. The purpose of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of IPS with the application of cooperative learning model type Make A Match. This research method using Action Research, this research conducted two cycles, each cycle of two meetings and a one-time test. This research conducted by 20 students of third-grade elementary school. The result of this research obtained average students’ learning outcomes 73.75 with enough categories and on the second cycle, students’ learning outcomes increased again to 80.50 categorized well. The results of the first cycle, the teacher during the learning process less understanding of the method of cooperative type Make A Match so difficult to apply. But in the second cycle, make A Match cooperative method can be applied maximally. The conclusion of this research was the model of make-Match type cooperative has been successfully applied optimally in the learning result social science class.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the scientific approach in the curriculum 2013 in class VB Public Elementary School 13 of Pekanbaru. This research is a descriptive qualitative study. The subjects in this study were teachers of class VB Public Elementary School 13 of Pekanbaru. Data collection techniques used in this study include: observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the teacher has carried out learning activities by applying the scientific approach. Activities carried out in learning include observing activities that have been carried out well by the teacher in learning 1 through learning 6, which is giving students the opportunity to observe pictures and reading texts. The questioning activity was not carried out properly, it did not appear that students asked questions in learning 1 to learning 6 only to the extent that the teacher asked the students. The activity of trying to do it is quite good in learning activities only visible in learning 2, learning 3 and learning 6 such as making story drawings, discussing in groups and making creations from playdough. Reasoning has been done well in learning 1 to learning 6, activities are carried out with the teacher giving independent assignments to students to make assignments in the student book. Communicating activities have been carried out well in learning 1 to learning 6 in the form of communicating orally and in writing in the form of teachers delivering material and question and answer activities and writing in the form of students making independent assignments. So, it can be concluded that the teacher of class VB Public Elementary School 13 of Pekanbaru has carried out learning by applying the scientific approach but has not been implemented optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to develop media in the form of natural motion-based dance learning videos in the Cultural Arts and Craft lessons in elementary schools. The method used is research and development (R&D) using the Four-D model, which are the steps: Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination proposed by Thiagarajan. The R&D  involved material experts, linguists and media experts as expert validators for the developed video. The data collection technique was in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used was to calculate the average score obtained from the material expert validator, language experts and media experts as well as the average score obtained from the product trial, namely the teacher and student responses. Based on the results of the video validation of natural motion-based dance learning that was developed, the criteria were very feasible with an average percentage of 87.57%. Meanwhile, for product trials, the teacher's response got a score of 91.02% and the student response got a score of 90.23% with a very good category. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the natural motion-based dance learning video has met the criteria of being very feasible and very good, and it can be used in learning dance in recognizing motion in dance, especially for third grade students in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the achievement of the pedagogical competence of group II elementary school teachers in Kecamatan Batang Peranap, Indragiri Hulu. This study involved 59 elementary school teachers and utilized descriptive quantitative method. To collect the data, the researchers utilized a questionnaire consisting of 40 positive and negative statements. Then, the data obtained were analyzed by using descriptive statistical techniques. The results of the study showed that the pedagogical ability of group II elementary school teachers in Kecamatan Batang Peranap, Indragiri Hulu was classified as high with an achievement percentage of 85.37%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan kata berimbuhan pada antologi ceritapendek yang disusun oleh mahasiswa PGSD UNRI angkatan 2017. Metode penelitian yang digunakanadalah kualitatif. Hasil penelitian kesalahan penggunaan kata berimbuhan pada awalan meng- karenaadanya perubahan bentuk jika digabungkan dengan kata dasar yang berawal fonem tertentu. Awalan diterdapat banyak kesalahan karena mahasiswa PGSD UNRI masih kurang memahami penggunaanimbuhan di- dan di- yang fungsinya sebagai kata depan. Untuk imbuhan gabungan tidak terlalu banyakkesalahan.  This study aims to describe the use of words with affixes in the anthology of short stories compiled by PGSD UNRI students class 2017. The research method used is qualitative. The results of the study error in the use of words with affixes in the prefix meng- because there is a change in form when combined with basic words that start with certain phonemes. The prefix di- there are many mistake because PGSD UNRI student still do not understand the use of the affixes di- and di- which function as prepositios. For compound affixes not too many errors.

Abstract

 This study aims to analyze the social competence of elementary school teachers in cluster IV,Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru City. The type of research used in this research is descriptiveresearch with a quantitative approach (descriptive-quantitative). The population in this studyconsisted of teachers totaling 47 people. The sample in this study was 47 people. The results of thestudy on indicators of being inclusive, acting objectively, and not discriminating because ofconsiderations of gender, religion, race, physical condition, family background andsocioeconomic status were 85.02% with the category "Very Good" , the indicator ofcommunicating effectively, empathically and politely with fellow educators, education staff,parents and the community is 75.64% with the "Good" category. the indicator of communicatingwith the professional community itself and other professions orally and in writing or in otherforms is 82.02% with the “Very Good” category, and the indicator of communicating with theprofessional community itself and other professions orally and in writing or in other forms is82.02% with the category "Very Good". Based on the description of the data analysis, it can beseen that there is a social competence of elementary school teachers in cluster IV SukajadiDistrict, Pekanbaru City with a percentage gain of 79.65% with the category "Good".

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low thematic learning outcomes of students. This study aims to determine whether the application of the Problem Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes in elementary schools. research is a qualitative and quantitative research conducted using Classroom Action Research (PTK) for 2 cycles. The research subjects were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 03 Pandam Gadang. This research was conducted in 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This research data collection technique consists of observation, tests and documentation of research instruments are observation, tests and non-tests. The results showed an increase seen from (1) Assessment of teacher activities in cycle I 82.14% good qualifications (B), cycle II to 92.85% very good qualifications (SB) because the implementation of learning carried out has fulfilled the steps of the Problem Based Learning model. (2) Assessment of student activities in cycle I average student score 65.73 with sufficient predicate (C), cycle II 80.83 with good predicate (B). (3) Assessment of student learning outcomes in cycle 1 average student score 65.73 with a predicate of sufficient (C), cycle II 80.83 with a predicate of good (B). It can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning model can improve the learning outcomes of grade V students in elementary schools.
