Abstract

Pengaruh teknologi digital terhadap budaya membaca saat ini sangatlah besar. Terlebih, ketika dunia dilanda pandemi Covid 19, termasuk Kota Padang, Sumbar. Banyak bidang yang terpengaruh terutama bidang pendidikan. Pendidikan di Indonesia khususnya Kota Padang menerapkan sistem sekolah daring dan tatap muka terbatas. Hal ini mengakibatkan siswa-siswa banyak belajar di rumah dari pada di sekolah. Proses belajar menagajar banyak dilakukan secara online. Dampak dari situasi ini banyak siswa yang memanfaatkan untuk menggunakan media belajar handphone dan laptop untuk bermain game. Apalagi kegiatan ini tidak diawasi oleh orang tua, siswa pun dengan bebas bisa mengakses handphone/laptop. Selama masa pandemi ini tidak dipungkiri juga bahwa minat belajar siswa terutama dalam hal membaca menurun drastis. Oleh sebab itulah, penulis melakukan pelatihan ini agar budaya membaca siswa kembali meningkat dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital seperti handphone/laptop ini. Output yang dihasilkan adalah budaya membaca siswa dapat meningkat dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital sehar-hari yang mereka gunakan seperti handphone/laptop. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil pelatihan terhadap siswa ini ditemukan bahwa siswa sangat senang dengan membaca karena telah mengetahui aplikasi atau situs yang ada di internet yang bisa mereka akses dengan mudah yang menyuguhkan bahan bacaan yang menari dan edukatif.

Abstract

This research studies about discourse usedby teachers in Ganesha Operation (GO) Sumbar in their facebook’s status about welcoming new year of 2014. It is interesting to be analyzed because every discoursehas one function. Moreover, the fact found in field was one discourse has more than one function.Methods and techniques used there are three. (1) Methods and techniques of data collection. The method used is the methods and techniques used refer to is the techniquesee, technical note, and interview techniques. (2) Methods and techniques of data analysis. The method used is the method match (match referential, translational, orthographic, and pragmatic. The basic technique used is the technique Segment Element Determinants (PUP) and subsequent techniques are Contacts Appeal of discernment (HBM). (3) Techniques and methods of presentation of the results of data analysis used, namely formal and informal methods.This study also resulted in a finding of speech acts, especially in terms of the function of speech. Apparently, the speech was not only contains the speech function, but more than one function of speech. Examples of speech it is data (1) not only contains the function to inform, but also insinuated, the data (2) not only inform, but also to express satisfaction, the data (3) not only inform but also revealeda complaint, the data (4) not only inform, but also in the form of a hope, and data (5) not only inform, but also banned. Keywords: speech acts, status, and facebook

Abstract

By using CDA as a tool in the classroom, this study visually and verbally analyses the children's growth. This is based on the understanding that learning is not content-oriented, but rather about the learning process of knowledge gained. Students who can think well will be successful in life. Therefore, this study aims to determine the app implementing critical discourse analysis on early children's development in the classroom. The method used is a qualitative approach with a literature review using sources from the internet, books, and related research outputs. Based on the study's findings, the critical thinking structure is explicit to make clear what is to be learned in order to facilitate writing skills, systematic to provide a consistent framework for focusing on both language and context, needs-based to ensure that course objectives and content are derived from students' needs, supportive to give teachers a central role in scaffolding students' learning and creativity, and empowering to give access to the pattern and possibilities.

Abstract

Saat ini banyak media pembelajaran yang terus muncul guna melengkapi kebutuhan dunia pendidikan sesuai eranya. Salah satunya aplikasi Kipin School 4.0. Aplikasi Kipin School 4.0. adalah aplikasi pembelajaran yang terbaru dan terlengkap yang memuat materi pelajaran K13 dan juga kurikulum terbaru. Mulai dari buku pelajaran sekolah, video pelajaran sekolah, latihan tryout dan komik literasi. Aplikasi ini untuk jenjang PAUD, SD/MI, SMP/MTS, SMA/MA dan SMK . Selain itu, aplikasi ini dilengkapi dengan Sistem Ujian Online. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat kepuasan sekolah yang telah menggunakan aplikasi ini dan apa peran aplikasi kipin school 4.0 dalam implementasi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan dengan metode deskriptif analitik kepustakaan dan melalui pendekatan konseptual dan komparatif. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa media gadget memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam menerapkan kebijakan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia terutama di era digital ini. Hasil penelitian ini adalah banyak sekolah yang merasa sangat terbantu dan puas dengan aplikasi ini. Tidak hanya guru, siswa, dan orang tua pun juga merasa terbantu. Aplikasi yang dikemas modern, lengkap, dan menarik membuat siswa menyenangi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia sehingga tidak membosankan.

Abstract

Communication between sellers and buyers in Pasar Raya is very frequent and repetitive. This communication tends to cause implicatures. This study aims to analyze and describe the implicatures that appear in conversations between sellers and buyers at the Bandar Buat Market, Padang, West Sumatra. The motivation for conducting this research is the uniqueness and diversity of the characters of sellers and buyers at Pasar Bandar Buat Padang since it is located on the outskirts of the city that accommodates sellers and buyers from various villages with different languages and cultures. The samples of this research were 10 utterances between sellers and buyers. This study used expressive qualitative methods. Data collection used observation, record and record techniques. Based on the results and analysis of research data using Levinson's theory (1994), 10 implicatures were obtained with the various implicatures that appear are contrast implicatures, simplifications and symbolic implicatures.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the use of conventional methods and media in the learning process of Indonesian Language Education courses at UPI Padang. To support the varied learning styles of students, lecturers need to develop teaching materials that solve the problems in the learning process. One of them is developing modules and using technology, because the development of e-multimedia encourages the combination of print technology and computer technology in learning activities. In line with this problem, it is necessary to conduct a research to produce an Indonesian Language Learning Model using a validity, practicality, and effectiveness multimedia e-module for students using the ADDIE development model. The type of this research is development research. The sample of this research is students majoring in PTIK, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, which is taken by means of random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used instruments in the form of questionnaires and tests to obtain the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed e-modules. The data had been collected and was analyzed then the results obtained that the process of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, the development of e-modules in Indonesian courses was based on the results of analysis and validation by experts in the medium category

Abstract

Implications are one of the communication strategies often used by preschoolers in playground conversations. The playground is a place where children have intense social interaction and is an ideal environment to observe how children use language and convey meaning implicitly. This research is qualitative descriptive. The techniques used in collecting data are observation techniques, fishing techniques, recording techniques, field note techniques. In the data analysis stage, researchers sort, simplify, encode, and dispose of unnecessary data. The data analysis procedure is carried out through three lines of activities that occur simultaneously to answer all formulations of this research problem, namely data reduction, data presentation and verification or conclusion. The results of data analysis found the form of conversation implications of preschoolers on the playground in the form of indirect requests, invitations to play, use of secret codes, indirect requests for help, implicit praise, plans to cooperate, invitations to share. Implications in children's conversations allow them to communicate effectively without using overly explicit words. It also helps children in developing language skills and understanding the nuances of interpersonal communication.

Abstract

This research was intended to find out the kinds of maxim on students’ conversation at grade eleven of State of Vocational High School (SMK Negeri) 1 Pematangsiantar. This research used descriptive qualitative which the data were obtained through students' conversations about expressing opinions. The subject of this research was the students of SMK Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar at grade eleven in the academic year 2023/2024. The instrument of this research was mobile phone, because the classroom interaction flows quickly, mobile phone was needed to help capturing students’ conversation. The data were collected by using the voice recordings and the transcripts. The data were analyzed based on students' conversations, then classified based on the maxims used in the conversation into each type of maxim, the maxims are then calculated to find the dominant maxim. The result of this research showed that the students used maxim of quantity (18,8%), maxim of quality (21,9%), maxim of relation (6,3%) and maxim of manner (18,8%). It showed that the students’ conversation dominant used maxim of quality in their conversation to express opinions. Keywords: Pragmatic Analysis, Maxim on Coversation, Expressing Opinions

Abstract

Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas guru PAUD di PAUD Mutathahirin, Kuranji, Kota Padang dengan menggunakan aplikasi Kipin School. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan meliputi sesi pengantar, demonstrasi, praktik langsung, diskusi dan tanya jawab, latihan berkelompok, evaluasi, pendampingan, serta pertemuan lanjutan. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan penggunaan aplikasi Kipin School oleh guru-guru PAUD di PAUD Mutathahirin. Para guru telah berhasil mengintegrasikan aplikasi ini ke dalam pembelajaran mereka, menggunakan fitur-fitur seperti modul pembelajaran interaktif, perencanaan pembelajaran, penilaian, dan kolaborasi antara guru dan orangtua. Melalui pelatihan ini, guru-guru PAUD di PAUD Mutathahirin mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang potensi dan manfaat aplikasi Kipin School dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas. Mereka telah mengembangkan strategi pengajaran yang efektif dengan menggunakan aplikasi ini, meningkatkan interaksi dengan siswa dan orangtua, serta meningkatkan efisiensi dalam perencanaan dan penilaian pembelajaran. Dalam kesimpulan, pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan kualitas guru PAUD di PAUD Mutathahirin melalui penggunaan aplikasi Kipin School. Para guru mampu mengintegrasikan aplikasi ini secara efektif dalam pembelajaran, meningkatkan interaksi dengan siswa dan orangtua, serta meningkatkan efisiensi dalam perencanaan dan penilaian pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di PAUD Mutathahirin, Kuranji, Kota Padang.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk melakukan kegiatan yang bersifat sosialisasi dan edukasi terhadap peserta didik di SMA Negeri 4 Padang. Kegiatan PKM ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang bagaimana cara mengatasi perilaku cyberbullying melalui layanan informasi bimbingan konseling. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah kegiatan pengantar, praktik langsung dengan cara pemberian materi tentang cyberbullying beserta dampaknya dengan diikuti diskusi dan tanya jawab, evaluasi, pendampingan, serta pemantauan lanjutan terkait dengan perilaku peserta didik. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan dan pemahaman baru yang diperoleh peserta didik terkait cyberbullying beserta dampaknya yang akan diterima oleh pelaku maupun korban cyberbullying. Hal ini terlihat bahwa peserta didik sangat antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan yang ditunjukkan dengan keaktifan berdiskusi dan tanya jawab. Pelatihan ini sangat bermanfaat untuk memberikan pencegahan bagi peserta didik serta memberikan pemahaman yang lebih luas sehingga perilaku cyberbullying diharapkan tidak akan berkembang dan tidak dilakukan oleh peserta didik. Berdasarkan pengamatan yang telah dilakukan, maka pelatihan ini dapat memberikan kontribusi yang positif dalam memberikan pemahaman dan pencegahan perilaku cyberbullying yang ada di sekolah.
