Abstract

The objective of the research is to test professional commitment affects to the job satisfaction of public accountant by means of the personality and gender as moderator variables. This is a quantitative research that uses multiply regression analysis. Primary data are gathered through questionnaires and executed by reliability and validity test.And the results show that the six hypotheses have proved significantly: (1) the professional commitment affect the job satisfaction; (2) personalit affect to the job satisfaction; (3) the gender do not affect to the job satisfaction; (4) the interaction between professional commitment and personality affect the job satisfaction; (5) the interaction between professional commitment and gender affect to the job satisfaction; and (6) all variables affect to the job satisfaction of  public accountant.Key words:  Professional commitment, personality, gender, job satisfaction, and public accounntant

Abstract

To overcome the competition, a company not only focuses on physical capitals, but also focuses on intellectual capitals. Company can achieve a competitive advantage and earn profit by owing intellectual capitals. Intellectual capitals rest on a potential link between intellectual capitals on one hand and corporate performance on the other hand. A company will grow up if a growing number of physical capitals in the same line with a growing number of intellectual capitals.The purpose of this empirical study is to investigate the influence of intellectual on bank performance, especially financial performance. This study uses empirical data from Indonesia Capital Market Directory 2005 issued by Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSE). This research uses quantitative analysis. The population of the research are banks listed in JSE.  The hypothesis test uses regression analysis model with the degree of significance at 0.05.  The main conclusion of this particular study is intellectual capitals have no influence on bank  performance.

Abstract

Nasyiatul Aisyiyah Kabupaten Kendal is one of the young women organizations of Muhammadiyah that has a business unit called Amal business entity Nasyiatul Aisyiyah (BUANA) which moves as a form of entrepreneurship organization. This series of activities began with the planning of events, implementation activities and evaluation, and a follow-up plan (RTL) in the form of creating an entrepreneurial database to see a few entrepreneurial competencies owned by entrepreneurship. The activities carried out by involving the elements of the leadership of branch leaders and leaders in the branches in the district of Kendal to be able to creatively and effectively apply the training results sustainably. The entrepreneurship Program successfully showed progress. The participant Database shows a success indicator where the majority of participants aged 37 – 45 are 39.8% of the total participants in this activity as much as 93 people. That means it is the productive age of existing entrepreneurs who strengthens the movement of BUANA. And the length of 1-10 years is the identification of participants from the beginning to contribute creative ideas in the development of BUANA. Competency has a strong influence on entrepreneurship (BUANA). It means that the need for HR competence becomes significant in contributing to the entrepreneurship of the Nasyiah organization in this case, BUANA (charity agency Nasyiatul Aisyiyah) Kabupaten Kendal.

Abstract

Tulisan ini memberikan kerangka untuk kewirausahaan organisasi yang ada pada organisasi non profit (sosial kemasyarakatan) yang dihadapi saat ini maupun ke depan. Program I-CreatedI mendukung dalam kewirausahaan organisasi untuk menemukan solusi yang terbukti menjadi kebutuhan organisasi  dan kemajuan  kinerja usaha organisasi. Sumber Daya Manusia sebagai  kunci dari keberlangsungan kewirausahaan organisasi memiliki peran penting. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Peneliti mengambil lokasi pada Badan Usaha dan Amal Nasyiatul Aisyiyah (BUANA) Pimpinan Daerah di Kabupaten Kendal- Jawa Tengah. Hasil  penelitian menunjukan  bahwa 60,9% variabel program  I-CreatedI mampu menjelaskan variabel kinerja BUANA sedangkan 39,1% lainnya dijelaskan oleh variabel di luar program. Adapun faktor di luar program yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja BUANA pada kewiirausahaan organisasi antara lain: motivasi, perilaku kepemimpinan, dan budaya organisasi yang terbangun. Berdasar hasil terhadap bobot sumbangan efektif  program I-CreatedI bahwa variabel kemandirian memberi kontribusi terbesar sebesar 4,689 , kreativitas sebesar 2,835 sedangkan inovasi berkisar 2,444.

Abstract

Reduced Audit Quality is an act of decreasing audit quality that is considered to be a deliberate practice because it reduces the quality of audit work and thereby increasing the possibility of opinion on inappropriate financial statements. Factors affecting reduced audit quality actions arise due to the presence of role conflict, role ambiguity and role overload. This study was conducted to find out the effect of role conflict, role ambiguity, and role overload on reduced audit quality. The sampling was conducted using purposive sampling technique. The number of samples obtained was 44 samples. Data were collected using a questionnaire method via Google Forms on auditors working at public accounting firms in the city of Surabaya and Sidoarjo. Data analysis technique used for hypothesis testing was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of hypothesis testing show that role conflict and role ambiguity have no significant effect on reduced audit quality, but role overload has a significant effect on reduced audit quality.

Abstract

This research is intended to provide a comprehensive historical and present development of zakat literature through bibliometrics analysis extracted from Scopus database. From 522 articles related to zakat, the findings show that Universiti Utara Malaysia, IMEFM, and Saad, R. A. J have become the most institution, journal and author that published in zakah literature respectively. Moreover, the article from Haniffa, R; Hudaib (2007) is found to be the most cited article worldwide. While Malaysia has become the hub center of the research collaboration network with a strong collaboration with Indonesian researchers.

Abstract

Organizational transformation is one of the steps leaders can take to survive and adapt to the current situation. Organizations that do not transform in a certain period will be left behind, even collapse, because of the dynamic nature of consumers and markets. Trans- formation is driven by internal factors such as the need for efficiency, revenue enhancement, and increasing employee prosperity. Meanwhile, external factors that trigger transformation include competition with competitors, technological advancement, and demand for adaptation to consumer needs and desires changes. Leaders have many references to adopt for navigating transformation in the normal situation. However, they have few references on navigating transformation in the Covid-19 pandemic situation. The Covid-19 pandemic has implied implementing a remote working system to minimize viral transmission. Such a system poses many challenges to leaders and employees as they have never practiced it. Failure of the leaders to navigate transformation will seriously harm the organization and even lead to collapse. The present study aims to identify some applicable competencies for leaders in navigating organizational transformation during the pandemic. This study used a qualitative method with semi-structured interviews as the data collection technique. The thematic analysis was conducted to analyze responses from interview questions. 14 informants were involved in this study. They consisted of general and senior managers transforming the pandemic situation. The results of this study revealed four major competencies, namely task competencies, human relation competencies, adaptive competencies, and virtual competencies in navigating transformation during the pandemic situation.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the crisis phase and the role of leadership in one of the telecommunications companies in Indonesia that implemented a system of working remotely during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used a case study methodology with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and related documentation. Technical data analysis was carried out through data condensation, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and verifying findings. The results of the study indicate that the leadership role during the Covid-19 pandemic was as follows: pre-crisis phase, peak crisis phase, and post-crisis phase. The pre-crisis phase of the leader guided the team to adapt to the pandemic through planning, information dissemination, and operational coordination. During the crisis phase and the peak of the crisis, the leader played a role in controlling through the provision of motivation, empathy, and inspiration. In the post-crisis phase, the leader's role was to support the recovery process through empowerment, collaboration, and team involvement. The implications of this study are on the importance of the role of leaders who adjust to the phase being faced to be able to bring the organization through difficult times.

Abstract

This article was an effort to improve student learning in schools in rural areas that can be made by various solutions, including utilizing materials available on the Internet. The authors believe that schools in remote areas did not necessarily have to surrender to their conditions, but they must make various efforts to improve the quality of learning. Therefore, we have carried out this study by utilizing many existing data and literature sources, found by searching the Internet. Next, we examined the phenomenological approach to find an answer from a large number of data at the highest level. The analysis involved coding the data, evaluating, and drawing conclusions that we believe can answer the main problem. Based on the analysis and discussion of the results, we can conclude that the learning problems in remote areas can be solved using the internet network, which has slowly penetrated remote areas. The result was also said that online materials were solution when teachers and resources were limited access, and these online materials barely distinguish between schools in cities and villages. Thus, the results of this study can add insights that were useful at the academic level of high schools and their benefits for policy courts in government and education practitioners in the field. Abstract

The role of humans in organizations is very important. the demands of technology and competition in the business world, therefore the competence of human resources in the organization must be optimized through competency-based training and employee development. This has a positive impact when competent human resources are able to bring personal success to improve organizational performance. Human Development in the organization provides quality and workability that will have an impact on improving organizational performance. PT. Pertamina Lubricant in welcoming the Word Class Company - 2020 prepares everything, especially the readiness of Human Resources to achieve this. Currently, training on human resources to improve competence both internally and externally in the national and international scope has begun. In addition, competency certification for PT. Pertamina Lubricant personnel by competent institutions for certain jobs in order to get recognition both nationally and internationally is also followed. In essence, this study aims to improve the professional competence of the workforce and or maintain the professional competence of the workforce to improve performance in a company that is undergoing a change in production technology from manual to modern with the same workforce, whose training is carried out internally, integrated and coordinatively. . These conditions are all still in process, but signs of improvement are being felt. This process is our current study.Peranan manusia dalam organisasi sangat penting. tuntutan teknologi dan persaingan dunia  usaha,maka  kompetensi  sumber  daya  manusia  dalam   organisasi   harus   dapat   dioptimalkan   melalui pelatihan dan pengembangan karyawan yang berbasis kompetensi. Hal ini memberikan dampak yang positif  ketika  SDM  yang  kompeten  mampu  membawa  keberhasilan pribadinya pada peningkatan kinerja organisasi. Pengembangan manusia dalam organisasi memberikan  kualitas dan kemampuan kerja  yang akan berdampak pada peningkatan kinerja organisasi.  PT. Pertamina  Lubricant  dalam rangka  menyongsong  Word  Class  Company - 2020  mempersiapkan  segala  sesuatunya khususnya kesiapan Sumber Daya Manusia guna mancapai hal tersebut.  Saat ini training Sumber daya manusia untuk  meningkatkan  kompetensi  baik  secara  internal  maupun  eksternal  dalam  lingkup nasional maupun  internasional  sudah  mulai  dilaksanakan.   Disamping  itu sertifikasi kompetensi bagi para  personil  PT.Pertamina Lubricant  oleh Lembaga yang berkompeten untuk untuk pekerjaan-pekejaan tertentu  guna  mendapatkan  pengakuan  baik  secara  nasional  maupun  internasinal  juga   diikuti.  Intinya  penelitian  ini bertujuan untuk   meningkatkan  kompetensi  profesi  Tenaga  kerja  dan  atau  mempertahankan   kompetensi   profesi  Tenaga  kerja   untuk   meningkatkan   kinerja   dalam   suatu perusahaan  yang  sedang  mengalami   perubahan  teknologi produksi dari yang bersifat manual ke modern dengan Tenaga kerja yang sama, yang pelatihannya dilaksanakan  secara internal, integrated dan coordinative. Kondisi  ini  semua  masih  dalam   proses   namun  tanda-tanda  kearah perbaikan dirasakan semakin tampak. Proses inilah yang menjadi kajian kita saat ini.
