Abstract

Autismemerupakan gangguan perkembangan yang terjadi pada masa anak-anak yang ditandai dengan adanya keterlambatan dalam bidang kognitif, bahasa, perilaku, komunikasi, dan interaksi sosial. Adapun informan dalam penulisan ini adalah Kurnia dan Afgan, siswa autis di SLB TPI Medan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui bagaimana komunikasi interpersonal yang terjadi antara guru dan siswa dalam mengembangkan bakat dan kreativitas anak autis. Penelitian in menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan cara observasi langsung dan wawancara mendalam yang melibatkan guru dan orangtua dari siswa autis sebagai narasumber. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat dikatakan bahwa peran komunikasi interpersonal guru di sekolah sangat penting dalam membantu mengembangkan bakat dan kreativitas siswa autis. Guru juga membantu dalam hal meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi dan interaksi sosial siswa autis dengan orang lain.Dalam hal ini, peningkatan kreativitas dan kemampuan seorang guru selaku penanggungjawab dan pengontrol segala aktivitas siswa di sekolah juga diperlukan agar dapat mengembangkan kemampuanberkomunikasi serta bakat dan kreativitas yang dimiliki oleh siswa.

Abstract

Mobile   Legends   Online   Games:   Bang   Bang   is   one   manifestation   of   technological development in new media. The purpose of this study was to find out how the positive and negative impact of playing Mobile Legends: Bang Bang online games to FISIP UMA students who play games. The theory used in this study is communication, new media, positive and negative online games. The method used is a qualitative method. Where the informants fifth in FISIP UMA students. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of participatory observation, in-depth interviews and documentary evidence. The result of the study show that the impact of playing Mobile Legends is influenced by the attitude of the players, indifferent to the social environment, wasteful in terms of time and economy, can get new friends in cyberspace from other countries so as not to limit interaction, add insight and experience about technology.

Abstract

Komunikasi adalah proses penyampaian pesan dari seseorang kepada orang lain untuk memberitahu, mengubah sikap, pendapat, atau perilaku, baik secara langsung (lisan) ataupun  tidak langsung (melalui media). Proses komunikasi terjadi dalam berbagai kegiatan, salah satunya kegiatan Pembekalan Akhir Pemberangkatan (PAP) di Balai Pelayanan, Penempatan, dan Perlindungan Tenaga Kerja Indonesia Medan (BP3TKI Medan). Pembekalan ini dilakukan oleh seorang instruktur TKI. Gaya komunikasi yang baik dari instruktur TKI sangat penting untuk mencapai keberhasilan dalam suatu pelatihan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melihat gaya komunikasi instruktur TKI yang diamati melalui perilaku verbal dan nonverbal dalam memberikan pembekalan materi di BP3TKI Medan dan mengetahui bagaimana persepsi TKI terhadap gaya komunikasi instruktur TKI dalam memberikan pembekalan materi di BP3TKI Medan.

Abstract

One of the biggest challenges of adolescence is constructing their self-identity. Teens between the ages of 13 and 21 are not only maturing physically, but they are also growing into their new role as adults. In order to do this, they need to answer for themselves the question "Who am I?" In traditional or particularly rigid communities or families, the young person may have very limited choices in who or what they become. This stage can often involve at least some delinquency, rebellion or acting-out of negative behaviors, and it will probably always include identity crisis and instabilation emotion. However, toward the end of this period, the young adult has usually settled on a clear and positive role for theirself. In maturity process, adolescents want to differentiate themselves from the others. They deliberately choose to be different and make different choices. Along with this, they begin to turn to their peers and friends, rather than their family, for their social and emotional needs. Peer pressure becomes a powerful force and, whether for good or bad, it can have a major impact on their behavior. However, to successfully pass this turning point, they must begin to define ideals and beliefs that will guide them to have a clear picture of how they want their lives to be. The role of communication in family becomes very important to guide the adolescent tobe a good young man with a good self-identity too.

Abstract

Oppression is a violence, threat or force to abuse or intimidate others, bullying on social media has become entertainment through memes, in giving opinion research and perception of memes on Instagram. This research concerning the corruption case of the former chairman of thePartai Golongan Karya Setya Novanto, has caused so many memes that satirize the official. This type of research is qualitative, with a descriptive approach. The source of this research data obtained through primary data and secondary data, from the theories of verbal and nonverbal communication can provide carry media social media data especially on instagram, this research was conducted to find out the perception of social media users especially on instagram.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi pasien tentang komunikasi interpersonal front desk di Rumah Sakit Sumatera Eye Center Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menjadikan 5 (lima) orang pasien Rumah Sakit Sumatera Eye Center sebagai informan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, maka diperoleh hasil bahwa para pasien yang berobat di Sumatera eye center, mendapatkan pelayanan yang baik dan ramah. Komunikasi interpersonal yang diterapkan oleh front desk di Rumah Sakit Sumatra Eye Centre Medan tidak hanya besifat verbal tetapi juga non verbal yang meliputi pesan kinesik dan paralinguistik. Komunikasi non verbal yang dipergunakan untuk memperkuat pesan-pesan verbal sehingga komunikasi lebih kaya. Persepsi pasien tentang komunikasi interpersonal yang dilakukan oleh front desk Rumah Sakit Sumatra Eye Centre terbilang cukup baik. Walaupun ditemukan beberapa hal yang dianggap pasien belum atau kurang maksimal dan pasien merasa puas dengan pelayanan yang diberikan oleh front desk yang selalu bisa memberikan informasi dengan baik. Disimpulkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal diterapkan oleh front desk di Rumah Sakit Sumatra Eye Centre Medan besifat verbal dan non verbal yang meliputi pesan kinesik dan paralinguistik, ditemukan beberapa hal yang belum atau kurang maksimal dan pasien merasa puas dengan pelayanan oleh diberikan front desk yang bisa memberikan informasi dengan baik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the teacher's communication strategy in implementing character education, monotheism, courtesy and courtesy as well as discipline toward students of class fullday in SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Medan. The research method used by researchers in this research is descriptive method with qualitative analysis. The results obtained by the study that the first informant is the teacher uses a communication strategy approaching the Middleton communication strategy theory: (1) Tawheed character, communication strategies in implementing tawheed character education, communicators by taking into account the credibility of the source and then managing the class by attracting the attention of students by saying greetings and ask the students 'situation, the message conveyed is the material of monotheism rububiyah, uluhiyah and al asma' was shifat explained verbally and non-verbally using standard Indonesian and the latest language terms; (2) polite and polite characters, communication strategies in implementing polite and polite character education by paying attention to the credibility of the source, managing the class get the attention of students by calling two or more students to the front of the class to demonstrate the form of interaction of polite and polite characters that have an element of cuteness, a message that be delivered; (3) Discipline character, communication strategies in implementing disciplinary character education that is communicators pay attention to the credibility of the source, then get the attention of students by conducting questions and answers there are elements of jokes about the form of discipline of daily activities that are both useful or not.

Abstract

The Purpose of this tudy is to study public communication strategy to build image and trust of prospective Jemaah hajj and umroh at PT. Siar Tour Medan. This study has been motivated because the implementation of the hajj and umroh so far ineffectice and inefficient. It has influenced service quality to customers. Methode that used in this stdy is qualitative and used descriptive analysis technique. This study used public relation by RUSLAN Theory known as PENCILS and the image that created through fourth components explain by SOleh Soemirat and Elvinaro Ardianto in the book dasar-dasar Public Relation such as perception, cognition, motivation and attitude.

Abstract

Interpersonal communication is needed in retail. Salesperson Activity can not be separated from communication with consumers. This study describes how the interpersonal communication of salesperson in applying SUKSES service standards in Sports Station Medan Mall.  This study aims to determine the effectiveness of salesperson interpersonal communication in implementing SUKSES service standards. This study used a qualitative approach in which the source of data is four of Sports Station Medan Mall salesperson, one supervisor and two customers. Data collected through direct observation in the store, in - depth interviews with sources and literature. Proceed with interactive data analysis techniques starting from data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/ verificaton. From these results it can be seen that, the role of interpersonal communication is very important in the implementation of SUKSES service standards. The results of this research are we can know how the way they communicate, that is greet customer, customer approach, analyzing the needs of consumers, merchandise offers, and to thank and invite customers to come back. Interpersonal communication adopted by the salesperson is not only verbal, but also nonverbal.

Abstract

The title of this research is the Representation of the Value of Minangkabau Characters in the Film Surau and Silek.  This research is motivated by the unique principles of life of the Minangkabau people which make Islam the basis of Adat and Culture.  The Minangkabau tribe has a traditional principle of "basandi syara ', syara' basandi Kitabullah" the meaning of this principle is a tradition based on Islamic law and Islamic law is the Al-Qur'an. The writer is interested in studying the principles of the Minangkabau people through a Minang film entitled Surau and Silek.  This film combines two interrelated elements, namely Religion and Self-defense arts (silat). Religion as basis of life for the Minangkabau people, while self-defense arts (silat) is a culture of human creation.  This study uses the semiotic theory by Rolanda Barthes. Data collection techniques consist of two types, namely primary and secondary data, primary data is the writer's findings in analyzing the film "Surau and Silek", while secondary data is data obtained by researchers through interviews with two sources. This research uses qualitative methodology with descriptive analysis.  The results of this study prove that the principles of life of the Minangkabau Tradition "Basandi Syara 'Syara' Basandi Kitabullah" are still the life principles that the Minangkabau people continues to use until now. There are 76 scenes that represent the character values of the Minangkabau people and are dominated by scenes of the application of Islam as the guidance of life the Minangkabau people.
