Abstract

An integrated manner of Community Engagement Activities done by using the concept of Interprofessional Education (IPE) engages health workers and village midwives in the work area of Puskesmas Kerambitan I as the target. This activity aims to apply the IPE to improve community health status in the working area of Puskesmas Kerambitan I Tabanan Regency. In the implementation of community service activities used several methods, such as structured interview methods to explore public health problems, methods of extension for giving some health materials as well as, and methods of direct practice to the community during the day of health services. This activity successfully involves the target of training of 30 people consisting of Village Midwife and Community Health Center Staff and Health Workers from 7 villages as many as 21 people, and target of public health service as much as 98 out of 100 people invited Community Service Activity with IPE method is completed by involving all departments in Poltekkes Kemenkes Denpasar.

Abstract

The increasing number of case of malnutrition in Selemadeg District shows that nutritional problem are still a public health problem. The incidence of malnutrition occurs due to ignorance and/or inability to prepare complementary food that can provide the needs of balanced and hygienic nutrition. The purpose of this study was to identify how the description of mother knowledge and feeding practices among children aged 12-24 months with malnutrition in Selemadeg District. This research is a descriptive research with cross-sectional approach. The population of this study were all mother who had children aged 12-24 months in Selemadeg District. The sampling technique is non probability sampling namely total sampling with total sampel 63 responden. The study found that the level of knowledge of responden in a good category was 90,47 %, most of practice levels (60,3 %) were in medium category and 54 % of respondens with a good knowledge have medium level of practice. Suggestion for health worker to organize councelling and demonstration of feeding practices esspesially about how to serve the foodsKeywords : Knowledges, child feeding practices, children aged 12-24 months, malnutrition.

Abstract

Transmission of HIV, Syphilis, and Hepatitis B from mother to child is a vertical transmission. Transmission occurs during pregnancy, during childbirth and during breastfeeding. A strategy is needed to prevent the transmission of HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis B from mother to child. To overcome this, the government makes PMTCT policy in an effort to eliminate the transmission of triple elimination. The purpose of the study was to determine the description screening of HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis B in pregnant women at the Selemadeg Health Center. This type of research is descriptive. The research was conducted at the Selemadeg Health Center in May 2022. The type of secondary data, the instrument of collection with data collection sheets. The characteristics of pregnant women are 82.1% aged 20-35 years, 53.1% working mothers, 50.8% have high school education, 49.3% have one child. The results of the screening in pregnant women are one person (0.2%) HIV reactive, six persons (1%) Syphilis reactive, and two persons (0.3%) Hepatitis B reactive.  Pregnant women with HIV reactive results are 100% in the age group 20-35 years,100% housewife,100% high school education, and 100% primipara. Syphilis reactive results are 83.3%, in the age group 20-35 years, housewife (66,7%), high school education (66.7%) and multipara (66.7%). Hepatitis B reactive results are 50% in the age gruop 20-35 years, 50 % in the age group 35 years, 50%, 50% housewife, 50% working mom, 50% high school education 50% and overall multipara. For primary health center to optimize health promotions regarding Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT) at the Selemadeg Health Center.
