Abstract

The role of MOL as a basic component of fertilizer, microorganisms not only beneficial to plants are also useful asdecomposers agents of organic materials, agricultural waste, household waste and industry. The rapidly growingdecomposer in organic farming systems is utilizing local microorganisms (MOL). Local microorganisms (MOL) aremicroorganisms that are used as starter in the manufacture of solid organic fertilizer and liquid fertilizer. The mainingredient of MOL consists of several components, namely carbohydrates, glucose, and microorganism sources.This study is based on the amount of untreated fruit waste, banana cultivation waste that is left to accumulatewithout being treated more useful, the golden snail is always considered a pest on crops and cattle rumen arewasted and efforts to overcome dependence on chemical fertilizers and pesticides can be done by increasing therole of microorganisms. The objective of this research is to produce mole solution which can be used as bioactivatorand as organic liquid and microorganism found in mole. . The materials used in the manufacture of MOL are bananasticks, fruit waste, golden snail, cow rumen, cow urine, coconut water, rice laundry water (lery), terasi, brown sugarfor MOL I whereas For MOL II only distinguished by using sugar white. Mole made by fermentation MOL Makingdone in Laboratoriuam Production of State Agricultural Polytechnic of Samarinda. The result of physical observationof the moles performed every day on the 10th day of the mole is already so / ripe based on the followingcharacteristics when kissed mole has no odor or smell of tape, there is a change of color from brown to dark brownand the state of temperature which has stabilized three days in a row. On the surface of the mole there are whitethreads on the surface of the mole. Based on the chemical analysis of nutrients in the mole is still low. As for theidentification of microorganisms in bioactivators in combination MOL I there are 4 types of bacteria, namelyClavibacter, Agrobacterium, Clostridium, Pseudomonas berfluorescens, while for MOL II there are 3 types ofpessimus ie Pseudomonas berkluorescens, Erwinia and Clavibacter

Abstract

Lada merupakan salah satu dari 12 komoditas prioritas perkebunan yang pemegang peranan penting baik secara historis, ekonomis maupun sosiologis. Saat ini produktivitas lada masih rendah, yaitu sekitar 0.7 ton/ha/tahun dari potensi 2-3 ton/ha/tahun, Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat pertumbuhan tunas tanaman lada (Piper nigrum L.) setelah pemangkasan dengan menggunakan pupuk kandang ayam sebagai penambah nutrisi hara pada tanaman. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di areal kebun milik warga yang terletak di Dusun Tani Maju Desa Batuah Kec. Loa Janan, Kab. Kutai Kertanegara, Propinsi Kalimantan Timur selama 3 bulan dari bulan Januari sampai dengan Maret 2014. Penelitian ini disusun dalam 4 perlakuan, setiap perlakuan terdiri dari 10 tanaman yang diamati. Perlakuan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari : P0 = tanpa perlakuan pupuk kandang (kontrol), P1 = perlakuan 2 kg pupuk kandang/tanaman, P2 = perlakuan 3 kg pupuk kandang/ tanaman, P3 = perlakuan 4 kg pupuk kandang/ tanaman. Pengolahan data adalah menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 3 taraf perlakuan dan 10 ulangan dan jika berbeda nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pupuk kandang ayam (broiler) tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah tunas pada tanaman lada. Untuk perlakuan pupuk kandang ayam (broiler) berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap panjang tunas dan jumlah daun pada tanaman lada masing-masing pada pengamatan minggu ke-6 dan minggu ke-9. Sedangkan perlakuan pupuk kandang P3(pupuk kandang 4 kg) menunjukkan hasil terbaik dibandingkan dengan perlakuan P0, P1 dan P2 dapat dilihat dari panjang tunas dan jumlah daun.

Abstract

Kenaf planting generally uses chemical fertilizers to enhance production although they are harmful to environmental ecosystems. At the same time, agricultural and fishery wastes have been underutilized. Kenaf is environmentally friendly natural fiber-producing plant that can produce diversified products, such as paper, wallcover, car interior, geotextile, soil safer, fiber drain, particle board, and plastic reinforcement as well as biofuel industry raw materials.The objective of this research was to know the water content of kenaf under the provision of organic shrimp fertilizer and natural pesticide of golden snail. The study used a Randomized Block Design with two factors with the first factor compost of shrimp (k) consisting of 3 levels and the second factor was a vegetable pesticide consisting of three levels (p). Each of these studies was repeated as many as 2 replications so that there were 18 treatmentoverall. Variables observed was water content of kenaf stem. The data obtained were analyzed using variance analysis and continued with the smallest real difference test at the 5% test level. The results showed that the best water content was in the combination of the k2p0 treatment of 63.6075%.

Abstract

Hydroponic cultivation is an alternative choice for people who plant various types of plants that can be consumed by themselves every day. In addition, hydroponics is one way to grow crops on a large scale without requiring land that is very suitable for cultivation in urban areas. However, this system has several drawbacks, namely, hydroponics really requires a controlled environment, such as monitoring the degree of water acidity, water temperature, and water nutrient density. It needs to be monitored and controlled to avoid a decrease in plant quality. Several ways can be done by using manual measuring tools which actually take time if the hydroponic system is on a large scale, the alternative is to use an Android-based control and monitoring system. This study aims to examine the effect of the best AB Mix nutrient concentration on the growth and production of Sawi Pagoda with the NFT hydroponic system and to control pH, temperature, humidity and nutrients automatically using the Ardiuno Uno sensor. This research was conducted at Rootop PS. Plantation Cultivation from August to October 2020. The design used was a completely randomized design consisting of one factor, namely the concentration of AB mix nutrients consisting of 2 levels: A1: 1000 ppm: 1200 ppm: 1400 ppm (given according to the age of the plant per / week) and A2: 1100 ppm: 1300 ppm: 1500 ppm (given according to plant age per / week). The research was repeated as many as 20 replications so that there were 40 experimental units. The results showed that the A1 treatment level with the concentration of AB Mix nutrient solution (1000 ppm: 1200 ppm: 1400 ppm) was the best treatment level for the increase in plant height and number of leaves on the 2nd and 3rd week and the final plant weight. The hydroponic Nutrient Film Technique system can be monitored and controlled automatically by Arduino, making it easier to control temperature, humidity, ppm of nutrients, and nutrient pH. Abstract

Bananas including fruits are perishable, one way to enhance the value to bananas by processing into flour. The layout of the plantations that far with the treatment site causes bananas harvested storage should experience some time before it is processed into flour, but still can be processed into flour with good quality. This study aims to understand the interaction between the types of bananas with storage time, and to determine the type and duration of storage of bananas which have characteristics that best banana flour. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Physiology, Laboratory of Agricultural Product Processing and Basic Laboratory University Mangkurat Banjarbaru for 4 months. The design environment used in this study is a randomized block design (RAK) while the design of the treatment is the draft Petak Separated (Split-Plot Design) where the main plot is a type of banana (A), which consists of 3 levels, while the subplot is the storage time (B) consisting of 6 level. Bananas (A), which consists of three levels, namely: a1 = Banana Kepok / Descending, a2 = Bananas Cotton and a3 = Banana Awa and retention (B) consisting of six levels ie: b0 = Not saved (0 days), b1 = Saved (1 day), b2 = Saved (2 days), b3 = Saved (3 days), b4 = Saved (4 days) and b5 = Saved (5 days) were tested with non-parametric statistical Kruskal hedonic method -Wallis , The results showed that the organoleptic test by using the Kruskal-Wallis analysis of the level of consumer preferences in color, texture and smell indicates that no significant effect on the level of consumer preferences. This means, any kind of bananas gives the same effect on everyone's favorite will be the color, texture and smell of banana flour.

Abstract

The Role of human resource development program on improving performance of harvesting foremans on oil palm plantation company, berau regency, east kalimantan the background of this study is because the performance of harvesting foremans on oil palm plantation hasn't been maximized notably on the influence of training and awarding their performance. This study aims to determine how far the training and awarding that has been given by the company to harvesting foremans then can affect their perception about training and awarding also to evaluates their performance. This study also exoplores about the characteristic of the harvesting foreman as object of this study. This study used quantitative method which is multiregression analysis with training (x1) and awarding (x2) as independent variables and performance (y) as dependent variable. this study used all the popullation and questioner to collect the data then processed by using SPSS program then comparing the result of the SPSS output with the field conditions.Based on the multiregression analysis result showed that there was an influence between the training and awarding on harvesting foreman' performance with a strong correlation, therefore it could be concluded that the human resource development programs toward harvesting foremans influenced their performance.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the number of oil palm companies that require employees to do work according to standards companies such as harvest employees who must harvest according to quality ripe fruit and harvest ripe reach the company's target, but in the statement the harvest work does not pay attention to operational standards procedures (SOP) that have been made and implemented in the company, so it is necessary carried out observations of the application of standard operating procedures for employees to harvest fresh fruit bunches (FFB). The objectives of this research are to identify the characteristics of respondents based on age, sex, work experience, education in general and to monitor the implementation of standard operating procedures for harvest employees on the quality and quantity of harvested fresh oil palm fruit bunches and harvest rights.Collecting data related to the implementation of harvest employee SOPs was obtained through the observation method, the interview method, and the documentation method.To analyze this data, data analysis was used in this study collected from research sources using descriptive analysis methods and Likert scale.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan sistem pendukung keputusan dengan menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) sangat tepat jika diterapkan pada permasalahan ini. Metode ini dipilih karena mampu menyelesaikan dan memberikan hasil yang terbaik dari sejumlah alternatif yang dimaksudkan yaitu bibit karet unggul dan kriteria-kriteria yang ditentukan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mencari kriteria-kriteria dan nilai bobot untuk setiap atribut, kemudian dilakukan proses perhitungan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat suatu sistem pendukung keputusan yang mampu membantu dalam menentukan pemilihan bibit karet yang unggul berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa nilai tertinggi dari 5 bibit yang diuji adalah bibit 1 dengan nilai peferensi 1.

Abstract

Along with the rapid progress on industrial sector also the expansion of oil palm plantation area, thus it will require a lot of human resource. In order to move and influence the employee, they need a leader to reach company’s goals. Purposes of this research are to identify the leadership style and work enthusiasm also to analyse the influence of estate Manager’s leadership style toward employees’ work enthusiasm in PT. Niagamas Gemilang. The method that used in this research is multiregression analysis with SPSS 22.0 and questioner. Respondent is divided in three classes which are all Field Assistant, all Foreman and 15% of Permanent Daily Employees in one Estate. The result showed that the Manager tend to apply task oriented leadership style. Furthermore, there was a significant influence from task oriented and employee oriented leadership style towards employee’s work enthusiasm both simultaneously and partially towards Field Asistant’s work enthusiasm. Meanwhile for Foreman and Permanent Daily Employee, there was no significant influence of the Manager’s leadership style on their work enthusiasm.This was caused by the form of organization structure, the direct supervisor of Foremans and Employees are not the Manager, therefore it would make sense if the leadership style that applied by the Manager has more and even greater influence toward Field Assistant whose direct supervisor is the Manager.

Abstract

Effect of Foreman Communication on Employee Performance at PT. Dewata Sawit Nusantara. This research is motivated by a number of cases of violence that occurred against the foreman, especially in the secretariat of oil palm plantations which caused the death of the foreman itself and automatically work in the palm oil sector will be hampered or decreased production even followed by poor quality of the oil palm plant itself. Of the several cases that occurred due to miscommunication between the foreman and the employee causing conflicts that triggered emotions on both sides. To support this research, the method of distributing questionnaires to respondents who have been chosen is chosen and not to forget the direct observation in the field and then supported by company data which is then processed in statistical tests to determine the effect of foreman communication on employee performance. It can be seen from the results of this study that good communication attitude from the foreman greatly influences the quality of employee performance and of course must also be supported by the good social adaptation abilities of the foreman.
