Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan menggunakan media audiovisual terhadap kemampuan literasi baca tulis anak kelompok B di TK Dharma Wanita Bulus. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Quasi Experimental Design dengan rancangan Non Equivalent control group design. Subjek penelitian berjumlah masing-masing 12 anak pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan interrater reliability dengan uji konsistensi Alpha Cronbach. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Paired Sample T Test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (p-value) sebesar 0,000, yang lebih rendah dari level signifikansi yang ditetapkan (0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest pada kelompok eksperimen. Dengan demikian, hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima, sementara hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, nilai signifikansi pretest eksperimen dan posttest eksperimen adalah 0,000 < 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perubahan yang signifikan dalam kelompok eksperimen. Sedangkan, nilai signifikansi pretest kontrol dan posttest kontrol adalah 0,025 > 0,05, yang menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perubahan yang signifikan. Berdasarkan hipotesis yang diajukan, Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Hal ini berarti bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan media audiovisual terhadap literasi anak dalam kelompok B di TK Dharma Wanita Bulus. Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of textbooks on the theme of caring for the environment to improve the creative thinking skills of children aged 5-6 years.  This study uses the Research and Development model with the ADDIE model. The subjects that were the focus of this study were ten students from group B who attended TK DWP Karangankidul. The results of this study, it was found that textbooks on the theme of caring for the environment were deemed appropriate based on validation by material experts and textbook design experts, the average percentage of validation obtained was 95.34%, which means textbooks on the theme of caring for the environment are very suitable for use by teachers group B. The practicality of textbooks on the theme of caring for the environment obtained an average percentage of 9 Kindergarten teachers in group B of 91.66%, which means that textbooks are very practical to use. The effectiveness of textbooks on the theme of caring for the environment was analyzed using the Wilcoxon test calculations through SPSS 22. The results of the analysis showed that the Asymp. sing. (2-tailed) of 0.005. So that the p-value <0.05 or 0.005 <0.05, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that the use of environmental care theme textbooks is effective in improving the creative thinking skills of children aged 5-6 years. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan buku ajar tema peduli lingkungan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif anak berusia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan pengembangan penelitian (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Subjek yang menjadi fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 10 anak didik dari kelompok B yang bersekolah di TK DWP Karangankidul. Hasil penelitian ini, ditemukan bahwa buku ajar tema peduli lingkungan telah dianggap layak berdasarkan validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli desain buku ajar, rata-rata persentase validasi yang diperoleh adalah sebesar 95,34% yang berarti buku ajar tema peduli lingkungan sangat layak untuk digunakan guru kelompok B. Kepraktisan buku ajar tema peduli lingkungan memperoleh rata-rata persentase dari 9 guru Taman Kanak-kanak kelompok B sejumlah 91,66% yang berarti buku ajar sangat praktis digunakan. Keefektifan buku ajar tema peduli lingkungan dianalisis dengan menggunakan perhitungan uji Wilcoxon melalui SPSS 22. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai Asymp. Sing. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,005. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai p < 0,05 atau 0,005 < 0,05, oleh karena itu H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan buku ajar tema peduli lingkungan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif anak usia 5-6 tahun.

Abstract

Permasalahan sampah organik dapat dikreasikan dengan cara membuat sebuah karya berbahan baku sampah itu sendiri. Masyarakat perlu diedukasi untuk pemanfaatan sampah organik menjadi sebuah karya yang kreatif sehingga memiliki sebuah nilai pakai dan nilai seni tersendiri salah satunya adalah Ecoprint. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberikan Pelatihan Batik Eco Print yang masih jarang dikenal oleh masyarakat umum khususnya di kalangan ibu-bu PKK di kelurahan Warugunung, Surabaya. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini diharapkan bisa mengembangkan ekonomi kreatif, selain menghasilkan ekonomi kreatif batik Ecoprint juga bisa menjadi bahan utama untuk menghasilkan pakaian yang digunakan sehari-hari. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini meliputi 4 tahapan, yakni (1) persiapan/perencanaan, (2) survei kebutuhan, (3) pelaksanaan, (4) evaluasi. Pada tahap persiapan/perencanaan dilakukan Tim PKM melakukan wawancara dan mengadakan studi awal pada ibu-ibu PKK di kelurahan Warugunung. Hasil pelatihan ini menunjukkan peserta belum memahami teknik percampuran alami dari daun eco print, akan tetapi setelah beberapa percobaan peserta mampu mengkreasikan motif dan warna yang di buat pada batik tersebut dan bisa menambahkan sentuhan inovasi dalam motif tersebut. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan batik Ecoprint pada ibu-ibu PKK Warungun Surabaya dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan inovasi dalam membuat batik sehingga diharapkan dapat meninkatkan kesejahteraan melalui inovasi ekonomi kreatif bagi peserta yang dilibatkan dalam kegiatan ini. Batik Ecoprint Training for PKK Mothers' Group in Warugunung Sub-district, Surabaya, to Support Creative Economic Growth Abstract The issue of organic waste can be addressed through creative means by transforming waste materials into artistic creations. Educating the community on the utilization of organic waste for creative purposes, such as Ecoprint, can lead to added value and artistic significance. This community service project aimed to provide training on Batik Eco Print, a technique that is relatively less known among the general public, especially among PKK mothers in the Warugunung district of Surabaya. The training intended to foster the development of creative economy, as Batik Ecoprint not only generates economic opportunities but can also serve as a primary material for everyday clothing. The implementation method of this project consisted of four stages: (1) preparation/planning, (2) needs survey, (3) implementation, and (4) evaluation. During the preparation stage, the PKM team conducted interviews and preliminary studies with PKK mothers in Warugunung. The results of the training showed that participants initially lacked knowledge of the natural blending techniques of Eco Print leaves. However, after several experiments, they became proficient in creating unique motifs and colors on the batik fabric, adding innovative touches to the designs. In conclusion, this Batik Ecoprint training for PKK mothers in Warugunung, Surabaya, improved their understanding and innovation in creating batik, thereby fostering creative economic development and enhancing the well-being of the participants involved in this community service initiative.

Abstract

Improving and applying health and safety knowledge in early childhood, especially in terms of hand washing during a pandemic is very important to do. Knowledge of washing hands with soap can increase children's awareness of preventing the transmission of Covid-19, as well as assist them in efforts to maintain and improve their health. This research study aims to produce an output in the form of a wordless picture book based on health and safety as a medium for learning to wash hands for children aged 4-5 years. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) methodology, which is in accordance with the ADDIE development model (Analays, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Qualitative and quantitative data received through a questionnaire in the form of an assessment questionnaire referring to the Likert scale then assessed using evaluation criteria guidelines to determine the feasibility of ACITA fairy tale books. The study, which involved the Dharma Wanita Kindergarten teacher, Sanan Village, Pakel District, Tulungagung Regency, revealed that the category was quite feasible with a percentage value of 60.6 percent in the feasibility analysis. The assessment of the feasibility of story books conducted by material experts revealed a percentage value of 61 percent and can be classified as quite feasible. Furthermore, the assessment conducted by media experts revealed a percentage value of 65.7 percent and can be classified as quite useful. On the basis of health and safety, it can be determined that the ACITA story book is the right tool to teach hand washing to children aged 4-5 years. washing hands in accordance with the recommendations or procedures for good and correct hand washing, so that children's awareness to maintain and maintain their own health also increases.

Abstract

Most young children in Indonesia experience literacy difficulties related to the alphabet and numbers in reading correctly and counting. Numeracy Literacy needs to be developed from an early age. Therefore, teachers should be able to create fun activities to develop children's literacy skills that are exciting for children. One is Primary School Early Childhood Education Transition Numeracy Literacy Training Through Songs. In developing children's literacy skills, the service team also creates songs. This service activity aims to increase teachers' knowledge regarding activities that can improve early childhood numeracy literacy skills through songs. The development model in this training uses direct observation. The target of this service is 100 PAUD teachers in Banyuwangi. The evaluation results obtained a pretest score of 45% in the "poor" criteria and, during the posttest, 86% in the "in-depth" criteria. This shows that the aim of this service activity was achieved, namely that the teacher's knowledge increased after participating in the training.
