Abstract

PT XYZ adalah salah satu perusahaan farmasi yang mengawali usahannya dalam kesederhanaan, namun mengemban cita-cita yang besar yang ada di kota sukoharjo. Produk - produk keseluruhan yang di hasilkan oleh PT XYZ sebagian besar menggunakan energi dari mesin boiler. Boiler merupakan alat yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan uap atau steam untuk berbagai keperluan, uap yang di hasilkan mesin boiler di gunakan untuk energi dalam proses produksi di seluruh PT XYZ. Mesin boiler batu bara yang berada di PT XYZ di operasikan 2 orang dalam 8 jam dan mempunyai 3 shif dalam 1 hari. Mesin boiler batu bara yang beroperasi 24 jam tentunya terdapat limbah akibat pembakaran batu bara yang disebut abu batu bara. Pekerjaan operator boiler yang harus mengemas abu batu bara menggunakan sekop kemudian di masukan ke dalam karung, sedangkan operator boiler harus mengoperasikan mesin boiler yang tidak bisa di tinggalkan dengan waktu lama menjadi masalah utama. Hasil dari perancangan alat bantu material handling untuk proses penanganan limbah abu batu bara yaitu rancanganan kereta rel pengangkut tong untuk abu batu bara yang bertujuan untuk operator boiler bisa lebih fokus mengoperasikan mesin boiler. Waktu proses penanganan limbah abu batu bara menggunakan karung mendapatkan waktu 9,21 jam, kemudian waktu proses penanganan limbah abu batu bara menggunakan kereta rel pengangkut dengan waktu 3,68 jam. Dari waktu proses dengan menggunakan karung lebih lama dengan selisih waktu 5,53 jam atau 60,04 % dan lebih efesien menggunakan kereta rel pengangkut. Untuk estimasi biaya ongkos material handling menggunakan karung adalah Rp 221,608,000,-/tahun dan menggunakan kereta rel pengangkut tong adalah  Rp 156,162,256,-/tahun. Jadi dari perhitungan per bulan maka didapat selisih sebesar Rp 65,445,744,-/tahun atau hemat 29,53 %.

Abstract

PT Saptaindra Sejati (SIS) adalah salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang jasa pertambangan. Perusahaan dituntut memenuhi target produksi yang telah dituntukan untuk memenuhi target produksi harus didukung dengan perfoma unit produksi yang baik. Penelitian ini membahas tentang kegagalan maintenance unit produksi Dump Truck CAT785C yang menyebabkan penurunan performa sehingga membuat produktivitas perusahaan tidak optimal. Untuk mengurangi atau mencegah kegagalan pada Dump Truck CAT785C perlu menerapkan suatu perbaikan dalam pengoprasian dan maintenance yang baik. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengatasi performa unit produksi yang kurang baik adalah metode Failure Mode and Effect Analyis (FMEA) dan Fault Tree Analysis (FTA). Dengan metode FMEA kegagalan yang terjadi dapat diidentifikasiikan untuk dibuat prioritas pengendaliannya. Metode FTA untuk dapat menganalisa sistem kegagalan dari gabungan beberapa sub-sistem, level yang dibawahnya dan untuk mengetahui kegagalan komponen. Hasil penelitian ini  menunjukkan terdapat 4 komponen kritis yaitu engine tidak bisa start sebesar 160 (12,5%), error 03 transmisi sebesar 132 (10,3%), Speed mundur problem sebesar 132 (10,3%) dan error engine dirate sebesar 128 (10%).

Abstract

Company employees as human resources are important capital that must receive high attention by companies, including construction companies. Along with the rapid growth of the construction sector, construction activities are carried out evenly in various regions in Indonesia, one of which is in the Sukoharjo district. Employees will tend to leave the organization if they are not satisfied with the work climate and job characteristics. Employees will have a high organizational commitment when they are satisfied with their work, supervision, salary, promotion and co-workers. This study aims to identify the effect of employee job satisfaction on organizational commitment by taking a case study on a construction company in the Baki sub-district, Sukoharjo. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 30 construction company employees. The data processing method used was linear regression. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Abstract

Manufacturing industry is one of industrial sector in Indonesia that interesting to research. Based on Indonesian GDP in 2015, this sector has a contribution up to 21.13 percent. Most of production process in manufacturing industry used to machining process. One of them is lathe. Moreover, HR preparation is needed, due to have knowledge about this machine. One of them is using machine simulator called “Lathe Simulator 1k62”. The purpose of this research is to find out user experienced of “Lathe Simulator 1k62”. The research method is giving several tasked to respondent, then to fill the User Experienced Questionnaire (UEQ) to find out the Attractiveness, Perspicuity, Efficiency, Dependability, Stimulation, and Novelty. The result found that all of the respondent had complete the assigned task. The UEQ, found that “Lathe Simulator 1k62” in generally had positive value, based on Attractiveness, Perspicuity, Efficiency, Dependability, Stimulation, and Novelty all above 0.8. Furthermore, user experienced of “Lathe Simulator 1k62” had “good” category compared to other software.Keywords: User Experienced, UEQ, Usability, Simulator

Abstract

PT. XXX as the yield management company becomes a plastic seed product that is ready to be used as raw material in other plastic companies. Apart from the garbage production of PT. Garuda Prima Sentosa also gets unused plastic waste from domestic and foreign suppliers. In the process of processing plastic waste, still uses the sorting power manually obtained by 40 people, the results obtained are also less than the maximum there are still many other materials mixed in plastic waste from 4200 kg of plastic waste can only be repaired by other unused material as much as 915.92 kg per day. This study discusses the centrifugal machine as a separator between used plastic waste from other unused materials and minimizes the sorting power of 40 people to 8 people, and adds the unused material to 1355,308 kg per day. The design of this Centrifugal machine to be able to overcome the problems that exist in the sorting section so that it can produce cleaner plastic seeds and improve the sorting process.

Abstract

Autocad is an application that supports image creation in the engineering design field. This application is able to design technical drawings, plans, buildings and other objects. The problem is, how can we skillfully utilize the facilities provided by Autocad, so that it can make a significant advantage compared to manual drawing. The objectives of the science and technology application program are (1) To provide knowledge and skills about image processing programs (2) To improve student skills in completing image tasks using the Autocad program. The method used in the science and technology application program is the provision of theory and hands-on practice as outlined in the training module. In addition, drawing exercises were also carried out during the activity. The evaluation of the science and technology application activity program about improving the skills of Univet students through the operation of the autocad program is that training in the operation of the autocad program can provide knowledge and skills in students in completing drawing tasks given by lecturers and changes in student competencies (knowledge and skills). in using the computer. This is evident from the average results of drawing exercises and the final grades carried out by the students participating in the training by 75%, previously students were still unfamiliar with operating the autocad program. Abstract

Rice is one of the most important commodities in the food industry sector in Indonesia, as the main source of carbohydrates. Beras Ikatan Cinta took part as one of the market players in this commodity. After two years, it was found that there was a decline in rice sales and difficulties in marketing expansion, so a research was carried out to determine the condition of the Beras Ikatan Cinta business and analyze the most suitable business development strategy for Beras Ikatan Cinta business. Data collection was obtained through a questionnaire and calculated using the IFE and EFE matrices and then processed and analyzed using the SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat) and QSPM (Quantative Strategic Planning Matrix) methods. The results of this study indicate the formation of 10 alternative business development strategies for Beras Ikatan Cinta, namely: (a) increasing production; (b) stability and professionalism of work; (c) create Quality Control standards; (d) permanent partnership with suppliers; (e) redesigning product packaging to make it more attractive; (f) improve HR performance; (g) create programs to maintain and increase customer loyalty; (h) determination of market prices in the face of competition; (i) strengtheni capital; and (j) maintaining product characteristics. Among them the most interesting and the priority to be applied is setting Quality Control standards and redesigning product packaging wich has the same TAS value of 0.62 out of a total TAS of 3.73

Abstract

The Sukoharjo sub-district is one of the sub-districts in the city center, but the income of the population who are farm laborers reaches 1,485 people, and the others reach 1,883 people. In this village there are also 44 small industries engaged in the production of snacks. One of these small industries has formed a joint business group called KUBE "Sari Enak" which is currently still growing. This research was carried out by applying a dryer application aiming to provide an appropriate technology that is easy, cheap and efficient for the community. The method used in the application of this tool is the application of a rambak dryer and the provision of materials/theories regarding the technology of the rambak dryer. The results of community service activities in the form of this dryer application can save processing time in the process of drying sea fish crackers.

Abstract

PT XYZ adalah salah satu perusahaan pertambangan batu bara di Indonesia. Dalam melaksanakan operasional pekerjaan pertambangan, kendala yang dialami PT XYZ pada periode Januari 2022 hingga Februari 2023 adalah pada bagian support power plant, yaitu pada tower lampu. Pada tower lampu Atlas Copco B5+, terjadi frekuensi kerusakan tidak terjadwal yang cukup tinggi. Kerusakan tersebut mengakibatkan rendahnya kinerja tower lampu Atlas Copco B5+. Akibatnya aktivitas produksi pada malam hari terganggu dan menimbulkan kerugian bagi perusahaan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, digunakan metode Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM). Dengan metode ini, dihasilkan analisis mengenai mode kegagalan lampu tower Atlas Copco B5+, besarnya nilai risk priority number (RPN), analisis waktu antar kegagalan (MTBF), serta dihasilkan rekomendasi tindakan perawatan pada 3 komponen paling kritis yang paling tinggi nilai RPN-nya. Dari pengumpulan data primer diketahui 7 komponen mengalami mode kegagalan. Kemudian dengan perhitungan skor severity, occurance, dan detection; diperoleh  tiga komponen dengan nilai RPN tertinggi yaitu filter bahan bakar (RPN 300), kapasitor (RPN 240), dan baterai (RPN 150). Hasil perhitungan mean time between failure (MTBF) pada komponen filter bahan bakar adalah 256,82 jam; kapasitor 714;29 jam; dan baterai 1.277,5 jam. Tindakan preventive maintenance yang yang disarankan untuk perawatan tiga komponen ini adalah penggantian. Penggantian filter bahan bakar disarankan untuk dilakukan sesudah 250 jam operasi,  dari sebelumnya 500 jam operasi, untuk mengurangi terjadinya kerusakan tidak terjadwal. Untuk kapasitor dan baterai, tindakan perawatan yang disarankan adalah dengan menambahkan item ini pada lembar pemeriksaan berkala 7 hari. Penggantian kapasitor disarankan setiap 750 jam operasi, sedangkan penggantian baterai disarankan setiap 1.250 jam operasi.
