Abstract

Based on the observation that the information obtained in the junior Amarawati Tampaksiring is one of the schools that implement conventional learning models. To achieve the goal of education, conventional learning model is not very effective to implement. Therefore, innovation is required in learning. One way to do is to implement a module based cooperative learning etnoscience subak which emphasizes the aspects of group behavior and results presentation concept maps. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cooperative learning modules based on behavior etnoscience subak groups and the results of students' concept map presentation, as well as to determine the correlation between the behavior of the group and the results presentation concept maps. The experiment was conducted in the junior class VII B Amarawati Tampaksiring. Students were divided into six groups, and each group working on a concept map. Furthermore, observers provide an assessment with reference to the assessment rubric. From the data analysis, the results obtained flocking behavior scores increased from 273.5 to 497.5 with a significance level (p = 0.028 <0.05), which means learning a given effect on the behavior of groups of students. Increase also occurred in the results presentation concept maps where scores increased from 42.0 to 97.0 with a significance level (p = 0.027 <0.05), which shows the influence of learning the presentation of the results of students' concept maps. To test the correlation between the behavior of the group with the results presentation concept maps, correlation coefficient (ρ = 0.986) indicating increasing students flocking behavior, the result presentation concept maps is increasing as well. Results significance level (p = 0.000 <0.05) showed that the flocking behavior correlates to the presentation of the results of students' concept maps. In conclusion, cooperative learning modules based etnoscience subak affect the increase in groups as well as the behavioral aspects of students' concept map presentation of results, and the two variables have a positive correlation in the study.

Abstract

Tegal Harum is a village located in the city of Denpasar where two PKK groups in the village, namely PKK from Banjar Asta Bhuana and Buana Kubu, experienced problems in managing garbage. The density of the population in this area has implications for the abundant amount of waste produced. On the other hand, residents do not understand the waste management at the household level. So far, they only rely on garbage collectors who come to pick and manage the garbage from residents’ homes. Some problems that occur as the garbage collectors do not come is having the garbage scattered by stray dogs or cats. Furthermore, ugly litters cause unpleasant odors, and even become homes for mosquitoes or mice which eventually sources of illness for the surrounding residents. PKM PKK Banjar Asta Bhuana and Buana Kubu aims at (1) in terms of environment: overcoming air pollution, eliminating the breeding grounds for disease vectors, and tackling floods and the potential for drainage pollution; (2) management aspects: increasing human resources in waste management at the household level with simple technology and training the management of waste disposal into organic fertilizer to improve soil quality; (3) aspects of the use of solid and liquid fertilizers: socializing the use of solid and liquid organic fertilizers as a result of household composters to replace the role of chemical fertilizers in fertilizing the soil and triggering the interest of PKK members to plant again in their home yard. The Community Partnership Program (PKM) of the PKK group in the self-management of organic waste was carried out through counseling and training methods. Counseling was carried out regarding the importance of environmental sanitation, sorting organic and inorganic waste, and using organic fertilizer. Then, training includes household waste management, simple use of home composter technology, and the procedure for harvesting solid and liquid fertilizers produced by the composter. From the activities that have been carried out, the results obtained are as follows: (1) PKK groups were able to carry out self-management of organic waste independently and sustainably through waste segregation and the use of composter technology, (2) production of solid and liquid organic fertilizers to meet fertilizer needs in households, and (3) improving partner's quality of life, health, and environment.

Abstract

Currently, environmental-based approaches are being encouraged, especially for entrepreneurial activities. Ecopreneurship is one of the efforts to carry out entrepreneurial activities that are concerned with environmental aspects, and not only concerned with profit. This ecopreneurship potential can be explored using photovoice, which is a learning medium through photographic techniques that have visual messages and narratives for the effectiveness of the meaning of the photo. The purpose of this study is to explore the potential of Generation Z Ecopreneurship through a photovoice approach. This study uses a photovoice-based community-based design (FGD), which was conducted from November 2020 to January 2021 in Canggu, North Kuta, with a generation Z community of 8 high school students. Data was collected using semi-structured interviews, WhatsApp, recorder and logbook, then the data was analyzed by using descriptive. The results of this study showed that in FGD 1 the themes were dominated by ecology, economy, efficiency and effectiveness, while in FGD 2 the themes that emerged were ecology, economy, efficiency and social. This shows that there is a change in the perception of the emergence of ecological and social themes from FGD 1 to FGD 2, which means that the community's perspective has been more open after planting the concept related to Ecopreneurship. So it can be concluded that photovoice can be used to explore the potential of Generation Z Ecopreneurship.
