Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh observasi peneliti, bahwa kemampuan mengenal bilangan sederhana 1 – 10 pada kelompok bermain usia 3 – 4 tahun di KB PKK Baye Kecamatan Kayen Kidul Kabupaten Kediri masih sangat rendah. Disini terbukti dari anak belum mampu membedakan angka satu dengan angka tujuh, kemudian angka enam dengan angka sembilan. Hal tersebut dikarenakan penggunaan media yang menarik masih sangat kurang di lembaga ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk  mengembangjan media HIKORI (Hitung Ikon Kediri) berbasis budaya lokal untuk mengenal bilangan sederhana 1 – 10 dapat digunakan pada kelompok bermain Anak Usia 3 – 4 Tahun?”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui empat tahap yaitu penemuan potensi juga masalah, mengumpulkan data data, mendesain produk, dan memvalidasi media. Dimana peneliti mulai mengumpulkan informasi terkait permasalahan yang ada di lembaga, kemudian peneliti mengumpulkan data dan informasi agar bisa dipakai sebagai bahan untuk perencanaan produk, kemudian peneliti melakukan desain produk sehingga peneliti memiliki acuan untuk membuat media, kemudia peneliti memvalidasikan media yang dibuat kepada ahli media dan ahli materi masing – masing dua orang.  Berdasarkan uraian di atas dapat disimpulkan dimana media HIKORI (Hitung Ikon Kediri) layak diuji cobakan pada anak usia 3 – 4 tahun di KB PKK Baye.

Abstract

The life of the Indonesian people is very closely related to the character values of mutual cooperation and creativity. Instilling the values ​​of character education in children is of course very important, in this case the teacher as an educator who incidentally is in the school environment. In addition to having teaching duties, teachers also have an obligation to instill character education values ​​in children. Basically children learn through play, learning activities through play which are carried out to instill the values ​​of mutual cooperation and creative character education can use a game, namely My Dolanan Box. By playing My Dolananan Box, it can arouse children's interest and interest in learning.The purpose of this study was to produce a dolananku box game so that it can be used by Kindergarten teachers in learning activities that can instill the values ​​of mutual cooperation and creative character education in children. This research method uses the Borg & Gall development model. The results of this study are the product of the dolananku box game as a learning innovation to strengthen the value of the character of mutual cooperation and creativity. From the results of qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis the results of the research show that: 1) My Dolanan box is suitable for use as a game to instill the values ​​of mutual cooperation and creative character education in children, 2) My Dolananan box can be used by the teacher as an efficient and interesting game to instill the values ​​of mutual cooperation and creative character education in children. For future researchers, it is expected to perfect the products produced both from media criteria, material content, playing activities. The results of this study in general can be concluded that the Dolananku box can be used by kindergarten teachers as a game to instill the values ​​of mutual cooperation and creative character education in children.

Abstract

The beliefs that parent currently have are increasingly attracting attention regarding the implementation of literacy for their children at home, was measured using parent reading belief inventory (PRBI) measuring tool developed by DeBaryshe and Binder. PRBI has not been adapted in Indonesia, making collaborative research difficult. Respondents in this study were mothers who had children aged 3-6 years old totally 177 respondents. Sampling technique with quota sampling. This research aims to develop a reliable and valid version of PRBI in Indonesia using International Test Commission guidelines. Data analysis using the second-order confirmatory factor analysis. The results showed that PRBI instrument was a valid and reliable instrument to measure the beliefs of parents in carrying out reading aloud activities with their children in Indonesia. Future research is expected to improve PRBI construct empirically based on the culture in each region, so that it can identify types of parents’ reading beliefs that implication children’s reading abilities.

Abstract

Kecerdasan naturalis (nature-smart) berhubungan erat dengan lingkungan, flora dan fauna. Individu yang memiliki kecerdasan naturalis yang tinggi tidak hanya menyenangi alam untuk dinikmati keindahannya, tapi juga mempunyai tingkat kepedulian yang tinggi untuk menjaga dan melestarikan alam. Kecerdasan naturalis (nature-smart) memiliki peran yang sangat penting di zaman modern seperti saat ini. Kecerdasan ini begitu diperlukan agar di samping terus memproduksi teknologi canggih dan membangun gedung-gedung modern, manusia juga tetap dan terus menjaga alam tempat seluruh makhluk bernaung supaya tetap lestari sehingga dapat terus dimanfaatkan oleh setiap makhluk hidup. Mengingat masa usia dini merupakan pondasi bagi tahap perkembangan yang berikutnya, maka masa usia dini adalah masa yang paling tepat untuk mulai melakukan stimulasi kecerdasan naturalis (nature-smart). Stimulasi kecerdasan ini dapat dilakukan dengan pendekatan eksplorasi lingkungan alam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang stimulasi kecerdasan naturalis (nature-smart) anak usia dini dengan pendekatan eksplorasi lingkungan alam. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Data-data yang diperlukan dikumpulkan melalui studi pustaka kemudian dilakukan interpretasi untuk mendeskripsikan tentang pendekatan eksplorasi lingkungan alam dan mengungkap perannya dalam proses stimulasi kecerdasan naturalis (nature-smart) pada anak usia dini. Melalui kegiatan eksplorasi lingkungan alam sekitar, anak dapat terlibat aktif di setiap kegiatan mengenal lingkungan alam. Kegiatan eksplorasi lingkungan alam ini dapat menjadi sarana bagi anak untuk melakukan percobaan langsung di lapangan dan mendekatkan anak pada lingkungan alam. Anak akan lebih mudah dalam mengenal, memahami dan mampu membedakan flora, fauna, benda-benda alam, gejala-gejala alam dan hal-hal yang bersifat alamiah lainnya. Anak juga akan belajar untuk berinteraksi dan memahami apa saja yang ia temui di lingkungan alam sekitarnya secara langsung, sehingga ia jadi lebih percaya diri terhadap perilakunya kepada hewan, tanaman, lingkungan sekitar dan menjadi terbiasa dengan makhluk hidup di sekitarnya, hingga tumbuh rasa syukur kepada Sang Pencipta alam semesta. Hal ini kemudian akan membuat anak memiliki rasa cinta dan tanggung jawab serta muncul keinginan untuk menjaga lingkungan alamnya dengan baik, termasuk mengembangkan sikap sosial yang baik kepada sesama makhluk ciptaan Tuhan.

Abstract

Aggressive behavior preferences need to be known from the beginning because they are the root of the emergence of cases of adolescent aggressiveness. Generation Alpha's aggressive behavior preferences need to be known to control and prevent individuals from growing up with harmful aggressive behavior. This study aims to develop a measurement tool for the aggressive behavior preferences of Generation Alpha which is used as a tool to measure the aggressive behavior preferences of children to adolescents today who belong to Generation Alpha. The subjects in this study were 136 Generation Alpha aged 11-12 years. Generation Alpha's aggressive behavior preferences were measured using a closed questionnaire containing Likert scale statements. The research was conducted in June-August 2023. The development stage/procedure uses the Borg & Gall model with simplification into six stages, namely the Information Gathering Stage, Planning Stage, Model Development Stage, Limited Group Trial, Product Revision, and Product Finalization. The conclusion of this study: content validity testing conducted by 5 experts (expert judgment) shows the results that all statement items in this measuring instrument are relevant to the Alpha Generation aggressive behavior preference indicators so that it can be tested as a criterion validity testing stage. The results of the criterion validity test on 136 respondents showed that there were 5 invalid statement items. The total number of items that are empirically declared valid and reliable is 43 items with a reliability value using the Cronbach's Alpha formula of 0.877.Keywords – Measurement Tool, Generation Alpha, Aggressive Behavior Preferences
