Abstract

Pembelajaran fisika siswa di sekolah menengah banyak menuntut siswa untuk lebih aktif belajar mandiri disamping pembelajaran yang dilakukan di kelas. Melalui e-learning berbantuan google classroom dan zoom sebagai pengganti sarana tatap muka, peserta didik dapat leluasa belajar secara mandiri dan melakukan diskusi dengan pengajar dimanapun dan kapanpun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon siswa, hasil belajar siswa, dan pengaruh model pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMK Negeri 6 Samarinda. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu purposive sampling dengan sampel kelas X TKRO 2 sebanyak 30 siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan one group pretest-posttest design. Pengambilan data menggunakan angket untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran serta tes awal dan tes akhir untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa. Analisis angket menunjukkan bahwa respon siswa termasuk dalam kategori baik. Analisis hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan bahwa kelas X TKRO 2 memperoleh N-Gain sebesar 0,59 yang terkategori sedang dengan rata-rata nilai sebesar 70,20. Pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji-t berpasangan diperoleh nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model e- learning berbantuan google classroom dan zoom terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Selain itu, pembelajaran e- learning ini sesuai digunakan untuk memfasilitasi kegiatan belajar siswa di masa pandemi.

Abstract

Penelitian yang mempunyai tujuan yaitu agar mendapati pengaruh asesmen formatif dalam pembelajaran inquiry model 5E untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis berbasis WEB pada siswa SMA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian yang bersifat pra-eksperimental design. Desain yang diterapkan yaitu one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sendawar dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 25 siswa pada kelas X MIPA 2. Teknik pengambilan data dengan menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknis tes berupa 10 butir soal essai untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis dan tes asesmen formatif berupa 3 butir soal essai. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa asesmen formatif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dengan nilai rata-rata tiga pertemuan berturut-turut sebesar 73, 81, dan 86. Kemudian melalui penerapan pembelajaran inkuiri model 5E dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan nilai gain 0,31 berada dalam kategori sedang.

Abstract

Abstract While some misconceptions already believed by students, it will resist changing. Therefore,the earlier diagnosis of students’ misconceptions becomes crucial. This study determinedthe misconceptions experienced by students in energy and evaluated the use of OrderedMultiple Choice (OMC) and Reasoning Multiple Choice (RMC) test to measure it. Thesample in this study was two classes at SMA N 1 Samarinda that was taken by purposivesampling technique. The samples were had relatively similar capability in physics, taughtby the same teacher with same teaching method. From the result, it is found that there aresome misconceptions experienced by the students. In the first class, percentagemisconception measured by OMC are level 1 "Naive concept" of 10%, level 2 "Hybridconcept" as much as 36%. In the second class, percentage of misconception measured byRMC is 22%. The OMC test was able to detect misconceptions on students generally andclassified two common types of misconceptions: naive and hybrid. While the RMC testwas able to show the misconception that occurred in each student in-depth because studentswrote their reasons independently.Keywords: ordered multiple choice, reasoninng multiple choice, misconception, energy

Abstract

Performance assessment is an assessment with written, action, and assignments that can provide better feedback on student performance and skills. The purpose of this research is to produce a valid performance assessment to be used in the assessment of STEM-EDP activity for global warming subjects. This research is an earlier stage of development research using the ADDIE development model with three stages, that is Analysis, Design, Development, while the implementation will be conduct as follow-up research. The performance assessment that has been developed is tested by expert judgement. The results of the validity test by two Physics Education lecturers at Mulawarman University and one teacher at SMA Negeri 5 Samarinda obtain that aspects of readability, aspects of suitability, aspects of construction, and aspects of product usability, each scored obtaining 88%, 82%, 85%, and 87% respectively that indicates that the four aspects are in the very good category. Based on these results, the STEM-EDP performance assessment of global warming subjects are suitable to use in implementation stage.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the management of school principals in improving the quality of teachers in sekolah penggerak, which will specifically look at how the planning by principals in sekolah penggerak at every level, namely by looking at comparisons at each level. levels, namely Elementary School Level, Junior High School Level and High School Level which have been appointed as the driving school for Batch 1 in Samarinda City. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, and the subject of this research is the principal. Data were collected by interview, observation, and documentation. With informants in each school consisting of three people, the principal as a key informant, then two other informants namely the Deputy Principal and the teacher. Data validity was obtained by using data triangulation, namely source triangulation and technical triangulation at each school level studied. The data analysis method used is interactive data analysis developed by Miles & Huberman which consists of data reduction, display, and verification or drawing conclusions. The results of this study are that the principal's management in improving the quality of teachers in driving schools at different levels has similarities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the recruitment of educators to improve the quality of education in the Samarinda City Catholic Elementary School. A qualitative approach with a description method is used in this study. The data collection involved five key informants, namely the head of the foundation, staffing staff, school principals, and vice principals in the field of curriculum, and one supporting informant. Collecting research data using the method of observation, documentation, and interviews. The process of data analysis is carried out through the stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of recruitment is based on data analysis of teacher needs and standard operating procedures consisting of the delivery of recruitment information through teachers or employees and alumni, acceptance of applications, file selection, summoning applicants for interview tests, and announcements made transparently. The findings in this study have managerial implications. The implications of the management of the recruitment of educators on improving the quality of education are planning, implementation, and supervision activities that support each other in an effort to achieve goals. The mutually supportive relationship of the management function that has contributed to the achievement of goals is shown by the existence of step-by-step stages that become a common reference in an effort to get educators as expected

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to unfold the management of lecturers at Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris Samarinda (UINSI Samarinda), and to observe the leader's decision-making in the management of lecturers at UINSI Samarinda. The type of this research is qualitative research using a case study approach. Data collection techniques were done in the form of in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique that the researcher used in this study was interactive data analysis by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana from data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data was tested with credibility, transferability, and confirmability. The results of this study indicate that the management of lecturers at UINSI Samarinda was directed in several phases. In the planning phase, there are some steps; the analysis of lecturer needs, recruitment, and selection. The next phase is the placement phase; the lecturers are placed dynamically referring to the lecturer’s expertise and the needs of the department. Then, the education and training phase gives an opportunity for the lecturers to continue their studies. In the career development phase, the lecturer's career is in line with his/her educational background and the lecturer's performance. Career development and lecturer performance assessment really depend on the leader’s policy. Lecturer performance assessment is carried out through a policy verified by two assessors and approved by the direct supervisor. The implication of this research is that the strategy or local wisdom which is the best practice of this institution can be used as a model for lecturer management and innovative decision-making by the leader in the human resource development of a university.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif.xSubjek/dalam\penelitian\ini/adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Samarinda dengan jumlahLsampel sebanyak[30/siswa/pada[kelasLVIII C sebagainLkelas eksperimenXdan/30\siswa pada kelas\VIII/D sebagai/kelas/kontrol. Pengumpulan data\menggunakanxteknik tes berupa 10 butir soal essai untuk mengetahui\hasilxbelajar/siswa yaitu-berupa/pre-test dan post-test./Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa\terdapat pengaruhXpenggunaanLmodel\problem/based/learning berbantuan e-learning berbasis MOODLE terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dari selisih rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen 71,17 dan kelas kontrol 58,37 dengan perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan dengan nilai-t hitung 3,951 dan probabilitas sig. 0,000. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh model problem based learning (PBL) berbantuan simulasi PhET berbasis Instrumen HOTS pada siswa SMA untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar level kognitif tingkat tinggi. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis deskriptif kuantitatif. Adapun metode yang digunakan pra-eksperimental design. Desain yang digunakan yaitu one group pretest-posttest design.  Subjek dari penelitian ini  siswa kelas X yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel total serta teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan observasi. Tes yang digunakan berupa 10 butir soal esai untuk melatih siswa berpikir tingkat tinggi. Serta instrumen HOTS berupa 3 butir soal esai setiap pertemuan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran PBL berbantuan simulasi PhET berbasis Instrumen HOTS pada siswa SMA meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa terutama kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal tingkat tinggi (HOTS). Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan siswa mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar pengetahuan kognitif selama pembelajaran 3 pertemuan dengan perolehan N-Gain dari rata-rata pretest dan posttest adalah 59,10 yang lebih dari 30 dan kurang dari 70 sehingga peningkatan hasil belajar siswa termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Dengan hasil N-Gain tersebut, menunjukkan penguasaan materi siswa lebih baik dari pembelajaran konvensional. Sehingga, pembelajaran lebih efektif serta dapat membantu siswa dalam menghadapi tuntutan ketuntasan dan tuntutan kompetensi abad 21. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the problem-based learning (PBL) model assisted by the HOTS Instrument-based PhET simulation on high school students to improve learning outcomes at a high cognitive level. This research is included in the quantitative descriptive. The method used is a pre-experimental design. The design used is one group pretest-posttest design. The subject of this study was class X students, totalling 26 students. The sampling technique uses the total sample technique and the data collection technique to test and observe techniques. The test used is in the form of 10 essay questions to train students to think at a higher level. As well as the HOTS instrument in the form of 3 essay questions for each meeting. The results of this study indicate that the PBL learning model assisted by the HOTS Instrument-based PhET simulation for high school students improves student learning outcomes, especially students' ability to solve high-level questions (HOTS). This is evidenced by students experiencing an increase in cognitive knowledge learning outcomes during learning three meetings with the acquisition of N-Gain from the pretest and posttest average of 59.10, which is more than 30 and less than 70 so that the increase in student learning outcomes is included in the moderate category. The N-Gain results show that students' mastery of the material is better than conventional learning. Thus, learning is more effective and can assist students in dealing with the demands of completeness and 21st-century competence.

Abstract

Di era globalisasi dan industrialisasi, penulisan artikel ilmiah mengenai implementasi inovasi sains dan teknologi sangat penting diperkenalkan pada siswa SMA. Tujuan Pelatihan Implementasi Inovasi Sains dan Teknologi Melalui Artikel Ilmiah bagi Siswa SMA adalah meningkatkan pemahaman siswa SMA terkait implementasi sains dan teknologi dalam artikel ilmiah. Pelatihan diselenggarakan sehari pada tanggal 29 Mei 2022 yang diikuti oleh 63 siswa dan 9 guru SMA sederajat di Kalimantan Timur dan Kalimantan Utara yang dilakukan secara daring. Tahapan yang dilakukan selama kegiatan pelatihan meliputi, pre-test, penyampaian materi terkait implementasi sains dan teknologi dalam artikel ilmiah, diskusi bersama best practice pemenang lomba LKTI Pekan Fisika XXII Tingkat SMA, dan post-test. Hasil uji N-Gain yang diperoleh adalah sebesar 0,15 yang mengindikasikan bahwa pemahaman siswa tentang topik yang disampaikan mengalami peningkatan setelah mengikuti kegiatan webinar meskipun berada dalam kategori rendah. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan ini dapat terlaksana sesuai dengan jadwal yang telah direncanakan dan kegiatan ini mampu memfasilitasi peningkatan pengetahuan siswa yang terlihat dari peningkatan hasil post-test 51% siswa.In the era of globalization and industrialization, writing scientific articles regarding the implementation of science and technology innovation is vital to be introduced to high school students. The aim of the Training on the Implementation of Science and Technology Innovation Through Scientific Articles for High School Students is to increase high school students' understanding regarding the implementation of science and technology in scientific articles. The training was held one day on May 29, 2022, and was attended by 63 students and 9 high school teachers in East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan, which was conducted online. The stages carried out during the training activities included a pre-test, delivery of material related to the implementation of science and technology in scientific articles, discussions with best practices winners of the scientific article writing competition at Pekan Fisika XXII, and a post-test. The N-Gain test result obtained was 0.15, which indicated that students' understanding of the topics presented had increased after participating in webinar activities even though they were in a low category. Based on the results obtained, it was concluded that this activity could be carried out according to the planned schedule. This activity was able to facilitate an increase in students' knowledge, as seen from the increase in the post-test results of 51% of students.
