<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the low learning motivation of the Haus Public Speaking training participants in Padang City, this is presumably because it has something to do with the andragogical competence of the Trainer in the Haus Public speaking Training in Padang City. This study aims to see an overview of the andragogical competence of the trainer, the description of learning motivation, and the relationship between the andragogical competence of the trainer and the learning motivation of the participants in the Haus Public Speaking training in Padang City. The approach to this research is quantitative with descriptive correlational research. The population in this study was 25 participants in the Haus Public Speaking training in Padang City and a sample of 70%, namely 17 people. The sampling technique was random sampling. In this study, data collection using a questionnaire or questionnaire with the data collection tool in the form of a questionnaire guide. The data analysis technique in this study used a percentage formula and rank-order correlation. The results of this study indicate that the andragogical competence of the trainer is quite low, the learning motivation of the participants is still low, and there is a significant relationship between the andragogical competence of the trainer and the learning motivation of the public speaking training participants. Suggestions are to the managers of the public speaking training program to further improve the quality of learning in public speaking training. To trainers, so they can improve their competence as educators, especially andragogical competence in public speaking training. It is hoped that in other studies, we can see some other factors that have not been examined in this study.Keywords: Andragogical Competence, Learning Motivation]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the success of entrepreneurship cooking skill. The purpose of this study was to describe the responses of learners to instructional communication of cooking instructor in cooking instruction in the explanation of learning materials, initial ability assessment, strategy setting, and feedback. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population in the study amounted to 15 people. The sample in this study is the total number of respondents. Data collection techniques used were interviews, while data collection tools used interview guidelines. Data analysis techniques using the formula percentage. The result of the research showed that the respondent's response to instructional instruction of instructor in (1) explanation of learning material of cooking cake training is categorized very good, (2) assessment of early ability of learners of cake cooking training categorized very good, (3) instructional strategy stipulation cake cooking training categorized very good, (4) feedback cooking cake is categorized very well.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the success of the community in the KB village in making recycled waste handicrafts into souvenirs so that these handicrafts can support the family economy and improve the community's economy. The success of this activity is the ability of the instructor and manager of PKBM Farilla Ilmi in empowering the community. In this activity, the residents of KB village can to get the proceeds from the sale of waste recycling crafts of approximately Rp. 500,000 a month. This study aims to describe community empowerment through PKW crafts to recycle waste into souvenirs seen from the aspects of knowledge, aspects of skills, and aspects of mental attitudes. The research approach is qualitative, with the type of research is a case study. Sources of data in this study consisted of mothers from the KB Bangau Putih village as research subjects and instructors and managers as research informants. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The data validity technique used source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that community empowerment through PKW crafts for recycling waste into souvenirs is very good, this can be seen from: (1) Aspects of knowledge obtained from the results that community empowerment through PKW recycled crafts into souvenirs can be seen increasing public knowledge about processing waste into useful items. (2) In the aspect of skills, the results show that community empowerment through PKW crafts to recycle waste into souvenirs shows that people's skills in processing waste have increased. (3) the mental attitude aspect obtained from community empowerment through PKW handicraft recycling of waste into souvenirs can be seen from forming a mental attitude of people who care and are confident about what they do.Keywords: Empowerment, Waste Recycling Crafts, Kampung KB Bangau Putih]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh bagusnya lembaga BKBNurul Fikri Kota Padang, hal tersebut terlihat dari banyaknya peserta didik yang mengikuti bimbingan belajar di lembaga BKB Nurul Fikri Kota Padang lulus di Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (PTN). Diduga karena kinerja pendidik yang baik dalam proses pembelajaran di lembaga BKB Nurul Fikri Kota Padang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kinerja pendidik ditinjau dari kualitas pembelajaran, kesesuaian tingkatan pembelajaran dengan tingkat perkembangan peserta didik, aspek insentif, dan aspek disiplin waktu. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik tingkat SMA kelas X, IX IPA,dan IX IPS yang masih aktif di lembaga BKB Nurul Fikri Kota Padang yang berjumlah 119 orang. Sampel diambil sebanyak 40%.Jumlah sampel adalah 46 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, sedangkan alat pengumplan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data penelitian adalah analisis deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa: (1) kinerja pendidik ditinjau dari kualitas pembelajaran dikategorikan sangat baik, (2) kinerja pendidik ditinjau dari kesesuaian tingkatan pembelajaran dengan tingkatan perkembangan peserta didik dikategorikan sangat baik, (3) kinerja pendidik ditinjau dari aspek insentif dikategorikan sangat baik, dan (4) kinerja pendidik ditinjau dari aspek disiplin waktu dikategorikan sangat baik. Saran: bagi pengelola dan pendidik diharapkan untuk dapat mempertahankan fasilitas dan kinerja pendidik dalam proses pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the high participation of parents in following parenting activity. This is due to the smooth program parenting program by parents. This study aims to illustrate the benefits of parenting programs by mothers who participate in parenting programs that include: childcare, childcare, parenting, and child care. This research includes quantitative descriptive research that describes the data as it is. The population numbered one hundred seventy one people and the sample amounted to fifty two people determined based on sampling technique that is random sampling technique. The data collection tool uses questionnaires and data analysis using the percentage formula. The results found that; 1) a description of the benefits of the parenting program seen from the parenting time of the parent looking good, 2) description of the benefits of the parenting program seen from the parenting material according to the parent looking good, 3) the benefits of the parenting program seen from the parenting parents who look good, 4) a picture of the benefits of parenting programs see from parenting by the parents look good. Suggestions for the motivation of parents to want to enter their children into early childhood and participate in activities held by early childhood.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the achievements reached on the scout activities by the students of SMA Negeri 2 Padang Panjang. Perhaps, one of the factors is caused by social interaction done by the students. This study is aimed to describe the students social interaction viewed from Students’ cooperation in Boy Scouts, Students’ competition in Boy Scouts, and Students’ accommodation in Boy Scout at Scout Extracurricular Activities at SMA Negeri 2 Padang panjang. This research is quantitative descriptive design. The population of this study is the students who follow the scout numbered 40 students. Sample is 50%, that is about 20 students. This study uses stratified random sampling. Technique data collection of this research is questionnaires, with a sheet of questionnaire data collection (questionnaire). Technique of data anlysis is the formula percentage. This condition is suspected because it has something to do with the use of methods used by instructors. This study aims to describe the use of instructional methods by instructors according to studying citizens in hospitality training which include: (1) use of lecture methods, (2) use of demonstration methods, (3) use of training methods. This research includes quantitative descriptive research that describes the data as it is. The population is thirty-five people and the sample of twenty-three people is determined based on sampling technique that is stratified random sampling technique. The data collection tool uses a questionnaire. Data analysis using percentage formula. From the result of the research, it can be seen that the responses of learners to the use of instructional methods of instructors can be good (1) the use of lecture method in hospitality training is categorized well, (2) use of demonstration method in hospitality training is categorized as good, (3) use of training method in hospitality training categorized good.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was motivated by the lack of social behavior of children at the TPA of the Al-Iman Mosque, this is presumably due to the low moral development given by teachers to children. This study aims to: 1) describe moral development by TPA teachers; 2) describe the child's social behavior; and 3) looking at the relationship between moral development by TPA teachers and children's social behavior in TPA Mesjid Al-Iman, Gunung Sarik Village, Kuranji District, Padang City. The approach in this research is a quantitative approach with correlational research type. The population in this study were all children who participated in the TPA at Al-Iman Mosque, amounting to 54 children, while the sample taken was 34 people using the stratified random sampling method. Data collection techniques in this study used structured interviews with data collection tools in the form of a list of statements. The data analysis technique used the percentage formula and product moment correlation. The results showed that; 1) moral development by TPA teachers at TPA Mesjid Al-Iman is still categorized as low, 2) social behavior of children at TPA Al-Iman is categorized as poor, and 3) there is a significant relationship between moral development by TPA teachers and children's social behavior in TPA Al-Iman Mosque, Gunung Sarik Village, Kuranji District, Padang City.Keywords: Moral Development, Social Behavior, Al-Qur'an Education Park]]>

The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) socialization conducted by PKBM TitianAmanah, (2) knowledge of high school drop out teenagers about Paket C, and (3) relationship between socialization with knowledge of high school drop-out youth about Paket C. Population in this research 40 people and a sample of 30 people. With stratified random sampling sampling technique. Data collectiontechniques is a questionnaire and data collection tool is a questionnaire. Data analysis technique usingpercentage calculation and product moment correlation formula. The results of the study found that (1)the socialization conducted was not well implemented, (2) the knowledge of high school drop-out teens onPaket C is still unknown, and (3) there is a significant relationship between socialization with high schooldropout knowledge about Paket C in PKBM Titian Amanah.]]>

<![CDATA[The background of this research is the motivated by good learning achievement of children, the researchers suspect this is caused by good parenting. The purpose of this study is to reveal the picture of parenting parenting in terms of (1) monitoring, (2) closeness, and (3) support, towardSMA N 1 Sutera in Kampung Sungai Sirah Kenagarian Surantih Kecamatan Sutera Pesisir Selatan Regency. The type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population is 35 people with 20 samples. Sampling technique stratified random sampling. Techniques of data collection are questionnaires and techniques of data analysis using the percentage calculations. Based on the result of the research, it is found that (1) the picture of parent monitoring on the behavior of SMA N 1 Sutera Children in Kampung Sungai Sirah is said to be good, (2) the image of parents closeness to SMA N 1 Sutera Children in Kampung Sungai Sirah is said to be good, (3) the support of parents to SMA N 1 Sutera in Kampung Sungai Sirah is said to be good. Suggestion for parenting of SMA N 1 Sutera Children in Kampung Sungai Sirah is further improved.]]>
