Abstract

This study aimed to elicit empirical evidence regarding the effectiveness of principal academic supervision in enhancing teacher performance at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Aceh Barat Daya. It also determines how the execution of the principal's academic supervision affects teacher performance and hence the quality of education. Qualitative research was used in this study. The researchers employed a descriptive method in conjunction with a phenomenological qualitative approach to investigate a social phenomenon or human problem in this study. The data gathering strategies used in this study were structured interviews, observation, and documentation. Academic supervision of the principal at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Aceh Barat Daya occurred according to the implementation plan, the material being coached, the implementation results, and the feedback from academic supervision implementation to improve the performance of class teachers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to collect empirical data regarding the effectiveness of academic supervision in enhancing teacher professionalism at Lhokseumawe State Vocational High School. Academic supervision must be data-driven and factually accurate. Academic supervision is everyday work that supervisors must perform in order to meet the needs of a dynamic curriculum that is constantly in need of improvement in terms of documentation and context in the field. This research employs a qualitative approach combined with descriptive analysis techniques. The primary data sources for this study were direct interviews with informants, including school principals, teachers, students, observations, and secondary materials culled from various studies of papers, texts, and archives about Academic Supervision implementation. According to the researcher's analysis, the principal has utilized academic supervision to enhance teacher professionalism, as evidenced by the planning of supervision schedules, implementation, assessment of teacher performance using prepared learning instruments, and follow-up on the results of learning supervision. The supervision theory has been implemented effectively, including directing supervision in learning and the conduct of pre-supervision meetings with teacher interviews.

Abstract

This study aims to gather information about the principal's strategy and program for enhancing the quality of learning at SD IT Nurul Ishlah Banda Aceh. The researchers employed a descriptive method in conjunction with a qualitative analysis approach to address the study's difficulties and objectives. It relates to the consideration of data described in the context of the research site's reality. Interview guidelines and observation sheets were utilized as instruments. The Miles and Huberman model was used to analyze the data. The findings indicate that the principal's strategy for improving the quality of learning is based on planning, specifically on developing school programmes that adhere to eight educational standards and three quality standards established by the Integrated Islamic School Network (JSIT). It also needs to build the capacity of teachers and staff to improve the quality of learning, conduct coaching and self-development activities for students, and create an atmosphere of learning based on Ukhuwah Islamiah/family ties in Islam.

Abstract

This study aimed to elicit data regarding the effect of school administrators' leadership styles, work motivation, and work discipline on teacher pedagogical competency. This study employs a quantitative methodology. The researchers conducted a quantitative study to demonstrate the effect of the principal's leadership style, work motivation, and work discipline on the pedagogical competency of teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Badar, Aceh Tenggara Regency. The findings indicate that principal leadership has a considerable effect on teacher performance and that teacher work motivation greatly affects teacher performance. Principal leadership and teacher work motivation have a major impact on teacher performance. The purpose of this study was to elicit data regarding the effect of school administrators' leadership styles, work motivation, and work discipline on teacher pedagogic competency. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of academic supervision and teacher performance assessment, through programs, implementation and evaluation of academic supervision planning and teacher performance assessment. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation. The research subjects were the principal, vice principal and teachers at SMA Negeri 3 Timang Gajah Bener Meriah. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis, while the data processing steps are data reduction, data display, and conclusions and data verification.
