Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research was to find out human resource management, especially of the teachers in the Insan Qurani Islamic Private Junior High School. It consists of planning systems, recruitment systems, evaluation systems, training and development system. A descriptive method with a qualitative approach was used in this research. The data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The principal and the teachers were the subjects of this research. The results of the research indicate that (1) planning had been formed by analyzing the volume of the workload and then determining the number of teachers needed, (2) recruitment was done by understanding the needs, selecting the applicants, interviewing them, and making a decision, (3) a well-planned evaluation was carried out regularly through an identification of the documents related to the performance of the teachers, an examination of the completeness of the learning tools, and a direct observation of the teaching and learning process in each classroom, (4) training and development was planned regularly through workshops, training programs, seminars, and other activities related to education.Keywords management, human resource, junior high schoolAbstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui manajemen sumber daya manusia khususnya guru di SMP Islam Swasta Insan Qurani. Ini terdiri dari sistem perencanaan, sistem rekrutmen, sistem evaluasi, sistem pelatihan dan pengembangan. Metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Kepala sekolah dan guru menjadi subjek penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) perencanaan dibentuk dengan menganalisis volume beban kerja kemudian menentukan jumlah guru yang dibutuhkan, (2) rekrutmen dilakukan dengan memahami kebutuhan, menyeleksi pelamar, mewawancarai, dan pengambilan keputusan, (3) evaluasi yang terencana dilakukan secara berkala melalui identifikasi dokumen yang berkaitan dengan kinerja guru, pemeriksaan kelengkapan perangkat pembelajaran, dan pengamatan langsung terhadap proses belajar mengajar. di setiap kelas, (4) pelatihan dan pengembangan direncanakan secara berkala melalui lokakarya, program pelatihan, seminar, dan kegiatan lain yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan.Kata kunci menejemen, sumber daya manusia, sekolah menengah pertama. DOI http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v11.i2.202024

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to find out: 1) planning of student recruitment by non-SNMPTN (annual state university entrance test) system at the Teuku Umar University of Meulaboh. 2) The implementation of student recruitment by non-SNMPTN system at the Teuku Umar University of Meulaboh. 3) Supervision of student recruitment by non-SNMPTN system at the Teuku Umar University of Meulaboh. 4) Evaluation of student recruitment by non-SNMPTN system at the Teuku Umar University of Meulaboh. This research is using the descriptive method with qualitative approach. The data collection technique is by observation, interview, and documentation study. The subjects of the research are (1) Rector of Teuku Umar University of Meulaboh, (2) Vice Rector II, (3) Head of Bureau of Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Planning, and Cooperation, (4) Head of Student Affairs Division. The result of the research shows that: 1) Planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of student recruitment by non-SNMPTN system at the Teuku Umar University of Meulaboh surely had several drawbacks in handling information systems.Keywords: recruitment management, prospective students, university entrance test.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) perencanaan penerimaan mahasiswa baru dengan sistem non SNMPTN (tes tahunan masuk perguruan tinggi negeri) di Universitas Teuku Umar Meulaboh. 2) Pelaksanaan rekrutmen mahasiswa dengan sistem non SNMPTN di Universitas Teuku Umar Meulaboh. 3) Pengawasan penerimaan mahasiswa dengan sistem non SNMPTN di Universitas Teuku Umar Meulaboh. 4) Evaluasi penerimaan mahasiswa dengan sistem non SNMPTN di Universitas Teuku Umar Meulaboh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah (1) Rektor Universitas Teuku Umar Meulaboh, (2) Pembantu Rektor II, (3) Kepala Biro Akademik, Kemahasiswaan, Perencanaan, dan Kerjasama, (4) Kepala Bagian Kemahasiswaan . Abstract

Abstract Supervision in Coaching of Early Childhood Teachers in Sub-District Banda Raya, Indonesia. Objectives The purpose of this study was to determine the planning, implementation, and follow-up of the supervision carried out by the supervisors in developing early childhood education teachers in Banda Raya Sub-District, Indonesia. Methods A descriptive method with a qualitative approach was used in this study. The data needed were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subject of this study consisted of supervisors, principals, heads of teacher working groups, and senior teachers of early childhood education. Findings The results of this study indicates that (1) the supervision was planned by the supervisors in order to improve the ability of early childhood education teachers in doing their main tasks. In addition, (2) the supervision was conducted through a coordination so that there was no overlapping of the supervision schedules of the school principal and teachers. Finally, (3) this supervision was then followed up with guidance on teachers who encountered obstacles through discussions, case conferences, and question and answer sessions.Keywords Supervision, early childhood teachers, Indonesia. Abstrak Pengawasan dalam Pembinaan Guru Anak Usia Dini di Kecamatan Banda Raya, Indonesia. Tujuan Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan perencanaan, implementasi, dan tindak lanjut dari pengawasan yang dilakukan oleh pengawas dalam mengembangkan guru pendidikan anak usia dini di Kecamatan Banda Raya, Indonesia. Metode Metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Data yang dibutuhkan dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari pengawas, kepala sekolah, kepala kelompok kerja guru, dan guru senior pendidikan anak usia dini. Temuan Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa(1) pengawasan direncanakan oleh pengawas dalam rangka meningkatkan kemampuan guru pendidikan anak usia dini dalam melakukan tugas utama mereka. Selain itu, (2) pengawasan dilakukan melalui koordinasi sehingga tidak ada tumpang tindih jadwal pengawasan kepala sekolah dan guru.Kata kunci Supervisi, guru PAUD, Indonesia. DOI http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v10.i3.202010

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to know the character education program, program implementation, evaluation program and the obstacles that are found in SDIT Nurul Ishlah Banda Aceh in implementing character education. Research subject of the principal, the chairman of the foundation, the class and parents. Data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Research result showed that character education program at SDIT Nurul Ishlah is good enough, compiled before the school year begins. The implementation of character education follows a national curriculum combined with SDIT Nurul Ishlah curriculum. The teacher council prepares syllabus and lesson plan with character values, teachers can add praiseworthy traits of morality such as Siddig, Tabligh, Fatanah and Amanah. The evaluation of character education is conducted periodically and comprehensively at the end of semester, with the aim to know the aspects that need to be continuously improved.Keywords management, character education, national curriculum.Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Program pendidikan karakter, pelaksanaan program, evaluasi program dan kendala yang ditemukan di SDIT Nurul Ishlah Banda Aceh dalam melaksanakan pendidikan karakter. Subyek penelitian kepala sekolah, ketua yayasan, kelas dan orang tua/wali. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program pendidikan karakter di SDIT Nurul Ishlah sudah cukup baik, disusun sebelum tahun ajaran dimulai. Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter mengikuti kurikulum nasional yang dipadukan dengan kurikulum SDIT Nurul Ishlah. Majelis Guru menyusun silabus dan RPP dengan nilai-nilai karakter, guru dapat menambah akhlak terpuji seperti Siddig, Tabligh, Fatanah dan Amanah. Abstract

Abstract This research aims to identify a clear vision of the principal supervision in improving the counseling teachers management. Using the descriptive method with a qualitative approach, this research data collecting techniques were interview, observation, and documentation study. The subjects were the supervisor, principal, vice principal of curriculum affair, and counseling teachers. The results show that the Programs were designed and carried out at least twice a year at the beginning of even and odd semester. The supervision implementation is carried out by the principal or supervision team and the counseling teachers. The principal supervision refers to counseling teacher ability in making counseling programs including the annual program, semester program, implementation plan of classical guidance services (RPL-BK), and empowering students with counseling services. The supervision techniques are conducted by visiting the counseling room individually and in groups, meeting, discussion, and sharing experiences.Keywords the supervision of the principal, management, counseling teachersAbstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi visi supervisi kepala sekolah yang jelas dalam meningkatkan manajemen guru BK. Menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah pengawas, kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, dan guru BK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Program dirancang dan dilaksanakan setidaknya dua kali setahun pada awal semester genap dan ganjil. Pelaksanaan supervisi dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah atau tim supervisi dan guru BK. Supervisi kepala sekolah mengacu pada kemampuan guru BK dalam membuat program konseling yang meliputi program tahunan, program semester, rencana pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan klasikal (RPL-BK), dan pemberdayaan siswa dengan layanan konseling. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to examine and analyze the program, the principal in improving the education quality at Inshafuddin Senior High School of Banda Aceh. This research uses the descriptive analysis method with qualitative method. The technique of data collection used are observation, interview, and documentation. The subject of this research are principal, teachers, and supervisors. The result of the research shows that: (1) The preparation of theof the principals program includes: a long-term annual program of eight years, a medium-term four-year period and a short-term once a year. (2) The implementation of the principals program is carried out by division of tasks, conducting training and attending MGMP, condukting laboratoryn and library monitoring and axamination at the and of each school year and providing guidance for teavchers who are less participating. (3) Evaluation of the program is carred out by the committe team namely the school principal, representatives, senior teachers and supervisors using the intrument and the results of the evaluation aredocumented. (4) The obstacles include: the efficiency of the discipline and the effeciency of the interest in reading students in accalerating.Keywords: principal management, education quality, senior high school.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis program kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMA Inshafuddin Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis dengan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru, dan supervisor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Penyusunan program kepala sekolah meliputi: program tahunan jangka panjang delapan tahun, jangka menengah empat tahun dan jangka pendek setahun sekali. (2) Pelaksanaan program kepala sekolah dilakukan dengan pembagian tugas, mengadakan pelatihan dan mengikuti MGMP, melakukan pemantauan dan pemeriksaan laboratorium dan perpustakaan pada setiap tahun pelajaran dan setiap tahun ajaran serta memberikan pembinaan bagi guru yang kurang berpartisipasi. (3) Evaluasi program dilakukan oleh tim panitia yaitu kepala sekolah, perwakilan, guru senior dan pengawas dengan menggunakan instrumen dan hasil evaluasi didokumentasikan. Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research was to identify how the school facilities and infrastructure of State Elementary School 2 of Trienggadeng in Pidie Jaya Regency were planned, utilized, and maintained. A descriptive method with a qualitative approach was used in this research. The data were collected by doing observation, interview, and documentation. The subjects of this research were the school principal, the school committee, the school facilities and infrastructure manager, and the teachers of State Elementary School 2 of Trienggadeng. The results indicate that the plan related to the management of the school facilities and infrastructure was made by the principal by involving the school committee, the school facilities and infrastructure manager, and the teachers. Moreover, as a manager as well as an administrator, the principal also (a) made the plan carefully by considering many aspects, (b) socialized and monitored the execution of the plan, (c) organized the maintenance of the facilities and infrastructure, and (d) monitored the management of the facilities and infrastructure.Keywords: managerial competence, school principal, qualitative research.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana sarana dan prasarana sekolah SDN 2 Trienggadeng Kabupaten Pidie Jaya direncanakan, dimanfaatkan, dan dipelihara. Metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, komite sekolah, pengelola sarana dan prasarana sekolah, dan guru SDN 2 Trienggadeng. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan terkait pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana sekolah dibuat oleh kepala sekolah dengan melibatkan komite sekolah, pengelola sarana dan prasarana sekolah, dan para guru. Selain itu, sebagai pengelola sekaligus administrator, kepala sekolah juga (a) membuat perencanaan secara matang dengan mempertimbangkan banyak aspek, (b) mensosialisasikan dan memantau pelaksanaan rencana tersebut, (c) menyelenggarakan pemeliharaan sarana dan prasarana, dan (d) memantau pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana.Kata kunci: kompetensi manajerial, kepala sekolah, penelitian kualitatif.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v11.i3.202105

Abstract

Abstract The aim of this research is to obtain complete and accurate data of school about academic Supervision of Supervisor in Improving Teachers Pedagogic Competences at Melati Cluster in Banda Aceh. This study used descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique was conducted by observation, interview, and documentation study. The instrument used in this research is interview guidelines. The subjects of this study were supervisors, principal, and teachers. The result of this study shows that (1) Supervision programs were settled relying on the evaluation of the previous year supervision. It was established individually at the beginning of the academic year. Academic supervision program that is teacher training in planning, implementing and assessing learning outcomes. (2) The supervision done by school supervisor has been effective relying on the technique and procedures. The technique applied is individual and group techniques (3) Academic supervision follow-up by school supervisor has been efficient and effective where at the end of the supervision as reports were there for teachers to read. Supervisors hold forum events like workshop, so it will help in improving the pedagogic competence.Keywords academic supervision, pedagogic competence, Banda Aceh.Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data sekolah yang lengkap dan akurat tentang Supervisi Akademik Supervisor dalam Peningkatan Kompetensi Pedagogik Guru di Gugus Melati Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pedoman wawancara. Subjek penelitian ini adalah supervisor, kepala sekolah, dan guru. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Program supervisi diselesaikan dengan mengandalkan evaluasi supervisi tahun sebelumnya. Itu didirikan secara individual pada awal tahun akademik. Program supervisi akademik yaitu pelatihan guru dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan dan menilai hasil pembelajaran. (2) Supervisi yang dilakukan oleh pengawas sekolah sudah efektif dengan mengandalkan teknik dan prosedur. Teknik yang diterapkan adalah teknik individu dan kelompok. (3) Tindak lanjut supervisi akademik oleh pengawas sekolah sudah efisien dan efektif dimana pada akhir supervisi sudah ada laporan untuk dibaca guru. Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to find out the principals program, strategies program and obstacles faced by the principal in increasing teacher professional competence. This study uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. The subjects were principal, teachers and supervisor. The results showed that 1) the principals program in enhancing the teachers professional competence by implementing discusion forum in the early school year together with vice principal curriculum section, the student affairs, facilities, teachers, committee, inspectors, and the discussion results are described in the school program. 2) The principals strategy in improving teacher professional competence creates a good climate, providing opportunities to every teacher to continue their education, rewarding outstanding teachers. 3) Supporting factors in solving obstacles such as location of madrasas, giving fair assignments based on background of education, trust and support community, providing good opportunities in improving teacher professionalism, including teachers training, workshops, training, supporting teaching facilities and learning processes and transparent financial management as well.Keywords leadership, principals, professional competence.Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: program kepala sekolah, program strategi dan kendala yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) program kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru dengan melaksanakan forum diskusi di awal tahun ajaran bersama-sama dengan wakil kepala sekolah bagian kurikulum, kesiswaan, fasilitas, guru, komite, pengawas, dan hasil diskusi dijelaskan dalam program sekolah. 2) Strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru menciptakan iklim yang baik, memberikan kesempatan kepada setiap guru untuk melanjutkan pendidikannya, memberikan penghargaan kepada guru yang berprestasi. 3) Faktor pendukung dalam mengatasi kendala seperti lokasi madrasah, pemberian tugas yang adil berdasarkan latar belakang pendidikan, kepercayaan dan dukungan masyarakat, memberikan peluang yang baik dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru, termasuk pelatihan guru, lokakarya, pelatihan, fasilitas pengajaran yang mendukung dan proses pembelajaran dan juga pengelolaan keuangan yang transparanKata kunci kepemimpinan, kepala sekolah, kompetensi profesional. DOI http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v11.i2.202119
