Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji keanekaragaman jenis tumbuhan penyusun vegatasi kawasan ekosistem Taman Nasional Gunung Leuser yang mengalami kerusakan akibat pembukaan perkebunan kelapa sawit dengan menggunakan teknologi seed bank. Waktu penelitian berlangsung mulai bulan April sampai September 2018. Pengambilan sampel tanah menggunakan metode jalur. Pada jalur pengamatan diambil cuplikan sampel tanah sesuai dengan kondisi tutupan tajuk dan kerapatan vegetasi yang dibagi menjadi 3 titik yaitu jarang, sedang dan rapat. Kemudian masing-masing titik diambil sampel tanah secara random  sebanyak 3 kali ulangan dengan menggunakan kotak besi berukuran 25 x 25 cm sedalam: (i) 0-5 cm, (ii) 5-10 cm, (iii) 10-15 cm. Tanah kemudian dimasukkan kedalam kantong plastik dengan menggunakan cangkul kemudian diberi label.ampel tanah kemudian disimpan di dalam rumah kaca untuk selanjutnya dilakukan uji perkecambahan. Informasi tentang cadangan biji di dalam tanah penting dalam studi ekologi komunitas karena dapat menggambarkan vegetasi yang ada di atasnya dan mengetahui potensi jenis tanaman lain yang akan tumbuh di habitat tersebut. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan 13 famili dengan 18 jenis yang tumbuh pada bak-bak penelitian yang terdiri dari 7 jenis pohon dan 11 jenis golongan tumbuhan bawah dengan jumlah seluruhnya adalah 366 spesies. Dari hasil kekayaan jenis kecambah yang tumbuh pada bak pengamatan didapatkan nilai KR, FR dan INP tertinggi terdapat pada jenis Melastoma malabathricum dengan nilai KR (63,115 %), nilai FR (32,692 %) dan INP (95,807 %). Sedangkan untuk nilai terendah terdapat pada jenis Cocculus hirsutus dengan nilai KR (0,273 %), FR (0,962 %) dan INP (1,235 %). Jenis dan jumlah kecambah sangat dipengaruhi oleh ketinggian tempat dan tidak dipengaruhi oleh kedalaman tanah. Jumlah biji terbanyak yang ditemukan di lantai hutan adalah jenis Macaranga gigantea yaitu 28 biji dan jumlah biji terendah yang ditemukan adalah jenis Villebrunea rubescens, yaitu sebanyak 7 biji.

Abstract

Gastritis merupakan peradangan dari mukosa lambung yang terjadi akibat iritasi dan infeksi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Gambaran Pola Hidup Mahasiswa Perantauan Terhadap Kejadian Gastritis Di Universitas Samudra, Provinsi Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskripstif korelasi dengan pendekatan sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa perantauan di Universitas Samudra dengan sampel 40 mahasiswa dan dilaksanan pada bulan April tahun 2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa distribusi pola hidup mahasiswa perantauan yang mengalami gastritis di Universitas Samudra disebabkan karena mahasiswa yang jarang makan sehari 3x (62%), diantaranya terdapat 60% mahasiswa yang jarang sarapan pagi. Kemudian, banyaknya mahasiswa mengalami pola tidur yang tidak teratur yaitu sebanyak 22 (55%) mahasiswa hampir selalu tidur larut malam. Pada pola stress sekitar 52,5% dikarenakan mahasiswa hampir selalu memiliki tugas kuliah yang sangat banyak. Pada pola aktivitas mahasiswa hampir selalu memiliki jadwal yang padat dalam perkuliahan sebanyak 40%, dan jarangnya mahasiswa melakukan aktifitas olahraga sebanyak 62,5%.

Abstract

Gunung Leuser National Park Resort Tenggulun since 1998-2008 continues to plunder its standing in the way was converted into oil palm plantations. The area was damaged forest of 2,200 hectares / year. This study aims to protect and maintain the forest as a climate change mitigation efforts. The method to determine the location of the study using purposive sampling with squares method to determine the density of vegetation. Furthermore, the method of calculation of the carbon stocks stored calculated using allometric equations. From the results, the results of total forest biomass Gunung Leuser National Park Resort Tenggulun amounted to 330.998 tons / Ha. While the amount of carbon stored by 165.999 tons / Ha

Abstract

The research was conducted in January-September 2017 and will continue until December 2017 at Gunung Leuser National Park Resort Tenggulun, Aceh Tamiang District, Aceh Province. The method used to determine the vegetation density is purposive sampling by using a combination of line method and the method of with 20 m x 20 m. For determination of litter productivity by using Litter Trap method, and to analyze physical and chemical content of soil by laboratory test and calculate soil fauna density (biological factor) location determination by using line transect along 100 m, then on every line taken 10 point by method Systematic Sampling is systematically on the 3 (three) research sites that have been determined. Based on the research results for the highest density of tree vegetation found in plot 4 with the absolute density of 175 Ind/ ha this is in line with the highest litter productivity value also found at high density (plot 4) which is 14,5 gr/m2/week. Physical chemical factors are found in high density of air temperature 26 0C, humidity 80 %, soil temperature 25 0C, light intensity 118 Candella, soil pH 5.6, C-Organic 4.80 %, N-Total 0.55%, C/N of 4,24 %, P-Bray 23,03 ppm and K-tukar 0,41 Me/100.

Abstract

Spotted deer (Axis axis) is one of the component forming forest ecosystems  and has a very important role in the food chain cycle. However, excessive and uncontrolled use of deer by humans can result in a decline in the animal population in nature. One of the conservation efforts that can be done is by captivity (ex-situ conservation). This study was conducted to determine the daily activity of the spotted deer in captivity of the City Forest in Langsa Baro Subdistrict, Langsa City on 8 - 22 February 2018. Data on the daily activities of the spotted deer were obtained through direct observation using the animal sampling scan method for 15 days. The study found that eating was the highest daily activity, namely male 30,84%, female 32,84%, pregnant deer 34,17%, and young deer without horns were 29.08%. The highest activity time is at 08.30-10.30 and the lowest activity time is from 06.00-08.00.

Abstract

The main problem found in Alue Ie Puteh Village is the large number of vacant land used as waste disposal sites; this is due to the lack of integrated waste management sites. This activity was carried out at the Village Hall by inviting elements of the surrounding community. The socialization and discussion of the Farming Integrated System For Zero Waste program cover the program as a whole; in this case it involves the process from the beginning to being sustainable. We the implementing team of the Biology Study Program, initiated a community service program as a program community empowerment through empowerment in utilizing organic and plastic waste to be applied to activities that include the manufacture of probiotics, the production of hydroponic devices, maggot cultivation and the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizers. Furthermore, these products used to support aquaponic cultivation assistance activities where hydroponic cultivation systems integrated with tilapia fish farming systems.

Abstract

ncreasing garbage in Langsa City especially in Gampong Kuala Langsa will become a serious problem if not solved. On the one hand, the invention of this plastic has a tremendous positive effect, because plastic has advantages over other materials. Based on these analyzes, the community service activities need to be done with the aim of improving the economy of Langsa City, especially coastal communities. Based on the results of further evaluation also recorded, some of the practical benefits gained by mothers in the village of Kuala Langsa, that is they get clear and whole information about the essence of community empowerment in terms of knowledge and skills. Meaningful for created of new jobs that are innovative from development of home industry, mothers who participated in the training obtained a clear picture of the business climate development step by using waste of coffee wrap, trainees also get a clear and whole picture about the benefits of waste if managed properly. The next stage plan is Assistance to the processing of plastic waste into a product so as to obtain quality standard both quality and quantity of quality and product quality and evaluation program to see how far the program is beneficial for mothers in the village of Kuala Langsa.Keywords: Creative Product, Kuala Langsa, Plastic Waste.

Abstract

In seed cultivation business, feeding seeds is a critical component towards successful cultivation. The problems faced at this time are the low level of technology and knowledge possessed by farmers, both types of feed, supplementary feeding and water management, so that the growth rate and survival rate obtained in milkfish cultivation are still very low. For this reason, accurate information and training is needed regarding milkfish hatchery technology as a reference that can be used by milkfish farmers. Based on the problems faced by the Joint Business Fisheries Group partners and the results of the agreement between the University of Samudra Community Service Team and partners, solutions were obtained (1) socialization of the importance of natural fish feed, namely rotifers for the survival of milkfish, (2) training in culture techniques Rotifers (Brachionus plicatilis) as natural food for milkfish, (3) making ponds/ aeration tanks for culture Rotifers (Brachionus plicatilis) as natural food for milkfish. The method of implementing the activities includes four main stages, namely field surveys, socialization, training, and assistance to monitor and evaluate the progress of the results of activities for the sustainability of the program in the village. Activities that have been carried out include four main stages, namely field surveys, socialization of activities, training on natural food culture, rearing and harvesting of fish that will be carried out at the end of August, and assistance to monitor and evaluate the progress of the results of activities for the sustainability of the program in the Gampong Baroh Bugeng. So that there has been an increase in knowledge and skills about the importance of natural food in the form of Brachionus plicatilis in milkfish cultivation so that currently milkfish farmers increase milkfish yields, increase the quality and quantity of live seeds so they can increase milkfish production and yields and create ponds. Rotifera (Brachionus plicatilis) culture aeration tub as natural fish food.

Abstract

The level of income in the City of Aceh Province, especially in Gampong Meurandeh is still relatively low. One reason is the use of free time for non-productive housewives. The purpose of this activity is to improve the ability of housewives to produce high economic value products by utilizing their free time by utilizing available natural resources, one of which is bamboo plants to be able to increase the family's economic income. The method used in the implementation of the activities carried out jointly with the mothers in Gampong meurandeh Langsa Lama Subdistrict, Langsa City is by (1) Socialization, implementation, survey and assistance programme. The current activity has been completed and has produced the superior bipesticide product of the community of Meurandeh Village. The conclusions that can be obtained from the implementation of the program are (a) The high level of participation from the community service program partners has a positive impact on the implementation of the program, seen from training and assistance in making products, (b) The program is able to produce alamai biopesticides made from bamboo leaf nanosilica so that it can improve the economy of the community and the product is environmentally friendly so that it can maintain environmental sustainability. Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan yang telah dilaksanakan oleh peneliti di SMANegeri. 5 Langsa hasil belajar siswa tergolong rendah siswa dikatakan lulus apabila mencapai nilai KKM 73, dalam kenyataan persentasi kelulusan sangat kecil. Siswa yang dapat lulus dalam pelajaran biologi hanya 65-68% saja. Sedangkan persentase kelulusan siswa diharapkan mencapai 90-99%. Agar tujuan dari proses pembelajaran dapat tercapai, atas dasar dari tujuan pembelajaran, maka peneliti mengembangkan model pembelajaran tipe Take and Give dan Index Card Match. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan dan seberapa besar hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan cara pembelajaran Take and Give dan Index Card Match pada materi Fungsi Jaringan Hewan di kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 5 Langsa Tahun Pembelajaran 2019/2020. pengamatan ini menerapkan mode eksperimen. Dimana pengamatan ini diambil dari seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN. 5 Langsa yang terdiri 3 kelas yaitu sebanyak 81 siswa. Contoh ini didapatkan secara acak dan diperoleh contoh untuk kelas Take and Give (XI IPA 2) sejumblah 25 orang dan untuk kelas Index Card Match (XI IPA 3) sejumblah 25 orang. Instrumen yang diterapkan dalam hasil tes belajar siswa dalam bentuk pilihan multicois yang berjumlah 20 soal yang sudah divalidasi dan reliabilitas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada perbandingan cara pembelajaran Take and Give dan Index Card Match tentang perolehan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPA SMANegeri. 5 Langsa Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020, dibuktikan dengan nilai dengan kriteria pengujian , -t_(1-1/2) α<t<t_(1-) 1/2 α, dengan nilai 2,03 < 4,76< 1,99. Besar Perbandingan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPA pada materi fungsi jaringan hewan yang menerapkan model pembelajaran Take and Give dan Index Card Match yaitu sebesar 4,76. Kata Kunci : Index Card Match, Hasil Belajar Siswa, Take And Give.
