Abstract

The people of Banjar have a unique customs their series of wedding procession. The process begins with basuluh, that is to find information on the woman who will be proposed. After basuluh, the couple should go through a series of procession such as, respectively, bedatang—the prospective groom and his family come to meet the family of prospective bride and propose the bride, beantaran jujuran—the groom gives dowry, a set of prayer tools, and women’s fixtures for the bride in which both bride and groom are represented by their family, wedding ceremony, and the reception. In the process of beantaran jujuran, a representation from each family delivers marriage advice (papadahan) and rhyme for both the prospective bride and groom.This study determines to analyze the significance of beantaran jujuran and the content of papadahan and the rhyme delivered in the process of beantaran jujuran, as well as the dowry handing over. From the gender analysis point of view, beantaran jujuran in the custom of Banjar people is dominated by women—the bride or the bride’s mother. Moreover, the significance of the rhyme and the marriage advice in the papadahan tends to be reserved for the prospective bride, giving the impression of gender bias.

Abstract

Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), merupakan salah satu instrumen yang banyak digunakan untuk mengetahui vibrasi molekul yang dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi struktur senyawa kimia. Terdapat tiga teknik pengukuran sampel yang umum digunakan dalam pengukuran spektrofotometri vibrasi : Transmisi FTIR, Total Refleksi (ATR), dan Difuse Reflectance Infrared Fourier Transform (DRIFT) . Polistirena merupakan salah satu polimer dari styrene, memiliki sifat sangat mudah terbakar. Metode transmisi memerlukan teknik khusus dalam preparasi sampel padatan yaitu dengan pembuatan disk. Spectrum yang dihasilkan memiliki range pembacaan yang lebar 4000cm-1 – 400cm-1, puncak yang dihasilkan cukup tajam  namun memiliki baseline yang kurang bagus. Metode reflektasi jauh lebih mudah karena tidak memerlukan persiapan sampel yang rumit. Spectrum yang dihasilkan memiliki baseline yang bagus namun hanya gugus fungsi dengan intensitas besar saja yang terbaca dan range pembacaan lebih sempit  4000cm-1- 600cm-1. polimer polystirena dengan puncak puncak karakteristik diatas 600cm-1 penggunaan metode atau teknik reflektasi jauh lebih menguntungkan karena tidak memerlukan teknik preparasi sampel yang rumit.

Abstract

The result of study of student of class VII B in MTs Negeri 1 Kota Surabaya on the subject of wake up flat in academic year 2017/2018 after analyzed have low result, this is allegedly because approach of learning at that time not yet right, hence in this class research used approach of learning Contex Teaching and Learning (CTL), which emphasizes the concept of learning that helps teachers connect between the material they teach and the students' real-world situations and encourages students to make connections between their knowledge and application in daily life. The problem to be discussed is whether the learning of mathematics with CTL approach on the subject of wake up flat can improve student learning outcomes of class VII B in MTs Negeri 1 Kota Surabaya? While the purpose of this research is to find out the improvement of student learning outcomes on the subject of flat wake with CTL approach. The location of the research was conducted at MTs Negeri 1 Kota Surabaya, Medokan Semampir Sub-district, East Java. The subjects of this research are the students of class VII B MTs Negeri 1 Kota Surabaya, teacher of grade VII B SD and observer. The study is divided into 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. While the indicator of the success of this class action research is achieved if the students have a grade average of at least 75 and mastery learning classes above 75%. In the first cycle students achieve a grade point average of at least 69.87, while the learning mastery is 47.37%. Cycle II reaches the average grade value of 78.16 and the learning completeness is 60.53%. Based on the results of student learning above can be concluded that learning with CTL approach can improve student learning outcomes of class VII B in MTs Negeri 1 Kota Suarabaya on the subject of algebra, so it is recommended that in teaching on the subject of algebra teachers using CTL approach Keywords: Contex Teaching and Learning (CTL), learning outcomes, operation of algebraic forms

Abstract

Sebagai sebuah karya imajiner fiksi menawarkan berbagai permasalahan manusia dan kemanusiaan, hidup dan kehidupan pengarang dalam menghayati berbagai permasalahan dengan penuh kesungguhan yang kemudian diungkapkan kembali melalui sarana fiksi sesuai dengan pandangannya. Pendekatan strukturalisme berusaha meneliti teks sastra dari segi sturktur, dengan melihat komponen-komponen yang membangun dan hubungan antar komponen tersebut. Setelah mendapatkan kesatuaan dan keutuhan teks, lalu dicari hubungannya dengan aspek sosio-budaya yang melatarbelakanginya. Seperti fakta kemanusiaan dan gambaran subjek kolektif.                Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskripsi kualitatif. Hal itu digunakan karena peneliti ingin mendeskripsikan fakta kemanusiaan dan subjek kolektif cerpen Slum karya Hanif Nashrullah               Hasil Analisis Strukturalisme Genetik dalam Cerpen Slum Karya Hanif Nashrullah meliputi: 1) Analisis Fakta Kemanusiaan berupa Aktivitas Sosial, Aktivitas Politik, 2) Analisis Subjek Kolektif berupa Status masyarakat kelas bawah, dan Status kelas masyarakat atas.

Abstract

Ativities Children’s playground has develop over time, which is reflected in the pattern of paly and type of play equipment used. One form of technology that is very popular these days is the gadget. The use of these can be found everywhere, both in adults to children in early age including children in Mutiara Bunda Palgroup, SUkodono Sidoarjo. It raises question to do research including: (1) How do the patterns of early chilboad play in the era of Gadged? (2) how far early chilboad have been using gadgeds? (3) what positive and negative impact of the use of gadgets? While empirical studies done by canducting research on 36 children in in Mutiara Bunda Palgroup, SUkodono Sidoarjo. Data obtained from the parents by using questionaires and the data has been analysed. The finding of the studi states that 50% of the 36 children chose to play a pssive form and 44% of active and passive play. The use of gadgets have positive and negative effect for children ins early chilbood

Abstract

Perpustakaan memiliki peran penting dalam menunjang kegiatan belajar mengajar dalam sebuah lembaga pendidikan, keberadaan perpustakaan merupakan bukti konkret kepedulian sekolah untuk mewujudkan peserta didik yang mandiri dalam belajar melalui pemanfaatan perpustakaan.Perpustakaan juga bisa menjadi mercusuar untuk meningkatkan minat baca siswa yang pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa. Namun kenyataannya, kondisi perpustakaan di SMA Islam Parlaungan sangat memperihatinkan. Ruangan yang tidak memadai, kotor, buku yang tidak tertata dengan rapi, belum ada pengklasifikasian, pengkodean, dan jumlah buku yang terbatas menjadi faktor-faktor yang menurunkan minat siswa untuk pergi dan membaca buku di perpustakaan. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian masysrakat dilakukan pengembangan perpustakaan dengan melakukan penataan kembali ruangan perpustakaan, pembersihan, pelabelan, pengkodean, pengklasifikasian, penambahan buku perpustakaan dan penataan ulang buku-buku ke rak yang ada. Sehingga hasil yang didapatkan adalah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara sebelum dikembangkan dan sesudah dikembangkan oleh tim pengabdian masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the understanding of the mathematical multiplication concept of Islamic Elementary School prospective teachers. This study applied a descriptive qualitative method. The research subjects were 33 students of Islamic Elementary Teacher Education Department at the Islamic State University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Submission of mathematics questions is the learning strategy used in the Pembelajaran Matematika course. The results of data analysis showed that there were three categories: (1) understanding the concept of multiplication (33.3%); (2) understanding the concept of pseudo multiplication (18.2%); (3) not understanding the concept of multiplication (48.5%).

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) find out the characteristics of the science items try out National Standar School Exams (USBN) in the academic year 2018/2019 based on Classical Test Theory (CTT); 2) find out the number of the science items try out USBN in the academic year 2018/2019 in relation to cognitive level. This type of research is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The data obtained was a computer answer sheet of 5022 students who took USBN try out of Elementary School 2019 on February 21, 2019 in Tulungagung Regency. The results showed that: 1) The characteristics of the science items try out USBN in the academic year 2018/2019 based on Classical Test Theory (CTT) in aspects of: a) validity of 35 items valid; b) the reliability value of 0.818 is very high; c) the level of difficulty level: 4 items (11.43%) are difficult, 9 items (25.71%) are moderate, 16 items (45.71%) are easy and 6 items (7.140%) are very easy; d) discriminating power: 3 items (8.57%) are bad, 12 items (34.29%) are good enough, 15 items (42.86%) are moderate, and 5 items (14.29%) are good; e) the quality of options: 17 items (48.57%) without revision, 9 items (25.71%) one option revision, 5 items (14.29%) 2 option revisions, and 4 items (11.43% ) wrong revision of 3 options; f) 13 items (37.14%) about the science try out USBN in the academic year 2018/2019 have quite good and good characteristics, so they can be included in the question bank; 2) items the science of  try out USBN in the academic year 2018/2019 in relationship with cognitive level, 11 items (31.43%) category L1 (knowledge), 10 items (28.57%) category L1 (understanding), 4 items (11.43%) category L2 (application), and 10 items (28.57%) category L3 (reasoning). Of the 13 items entered in the question bank with cognitive level, the science try out USBN in the academic year 2018/2019 was dominated at the cognitive level L1 (knowledge and understanding).

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil refleksi awal dapat dilihat kemampuan improvisasi untuk memainkan peran siswa kelas VIII SMP Taruna Surabaya rendah. Skor kemampuan siswa untuk berimprovisasi bermain peran di 54,62 dan mencapai 31,64 pencapaian KKM%. Masalah yang diidentifikasi terkait dengan kemampuan siswa untuk berimprovisasi adalah dalam hal pengucapan, intonasi, dan gerak ekspresi. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini peneliti menerapkan model role play. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Taruna Surabaya semester ganjil tahun akademik 2018/2019, yang berlokasi di Jl. Mejoyo I No.2, Surabaya. Data penelitian ini meliputi kegiatan siswa dan guru. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan tes kinerja yang selanjutnya dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif dan statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran role play dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bermain peran improvisasi siswa kelas VIII SMP Taruna Surabaya. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada tiga aspek yaitu1) pada siklus 1 aktivitas guru meningkat sebesar 60% menjadi 100% pada siklus 2) aktivitas pada siklus 1 siswa masih belum berkinerja baik, persentase siklus 1 adalah 74,38%, sedangkan pada siklus 2 mengalami peningkatan sebesar 94,38%; 3) Hasil tes kemampuan siswa untuk berimprovisasi bermain peran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran bermain peran pada siklus 1, 23 siswa dapat mencapai dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal 65,72%. Sedangkan pada siklus 2 meningkat menjadi 34 siswa mencapai penguasaan klasikal dengan persentase 97,14%. Kata kunci: Kemampuan improvisasi, Model role play.
