Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD berbasis guided discovery yang valid, praktis, dan memiliki efek potensial terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan Rowntree yang dimodifikasi dengan evaluasi formatif. Subjek yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Pembina Palembang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil rata-rata validitas untuk aspek materi sebesar 89%, aspek desain pembelajaran guided discovery sebesar 87%, dan aspek bahasa sebesar 95% dengan kategori sangat valid. Uji kepraktisan LKPD ditinjau dari pengisian angket yang dilakukan oleh lima peserta didik pada tahap one to one dan memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 83% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Pada tahap small group ditinjau dari pengisian angket yang dilakukan oleh delapan peserta didik dan memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 83,2%. Tahap field test memperoleh nilai rata-rata N-gain sebesar 0,5 dan dikategorikan sedang.

Abstract

This study aims to produce LKPD products based on Discovery Learning assisted by Software Tracker to improve understanding of the concepts of class X students at SMA Sriguna Palembang that are valid, practical, and have a potential effect on understanding concepts. This study uses a modified Rowntree development model based on formative evaluation. The subjects used in this research are students of class X IPA 2 SMA Sriguna Palembang, as many as 34 students. This research produces: 1) LKPD based on Discovery Learning assisted by Software Tracker which is valid. Based on the research results, the average results of material aspects are 81.33%, learning design aspects are 80% and language aspects are 80%, 2) practicality test results in the one to one stage obtained an average of 93% with a very practical category, 3) the results of the practicality test at the small group stage obtained an average of 87.62% with a very practical category, 4) the field test stage obtained the highest N-Gain value by 64.70% in the high category and the lowest N-Gain value is 35.29% in the medium category.

Abstract

The conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic created conditions that seemed to be "forced" to transform and adapt drastically in learning from home through online media (on line). Various learning media applications are already available, both government and private. The government issued a Circular of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 9/2018 concerning the Utilization of Learning Houses. The private sector also provides online tutoring such as the teacher room, Zenius, Klassku, Kahoot, and others. Teachers are required to be more creative and innovative in implementing learning in schools. Therefore, it is necessary to hold a learning training for teachers to motivate them to carry out their obligations as educators. The counseling had the theme "Innovation of e-learning in Facing the New Normal at SMK Negeri 1 Lawang Wetan Musi Banyuasin". Participants were 36 teachers of SMK 1 Lawang Kidul Musi Banyuasin. The material presented was responded enthusiastically by the training participants. This can be seen from the questions asked by the participants and the results of the questionnaires given. The questionnaire used a Likert scale with an overall average of 4.47. This means that most participants strongly agree with the education and training provided. The messages and impressions presented by the participants were also very positive

Abstract

Untuk menjadi guru yang profesional, pemerintah mencanangkan Program Profesi Berkelanjutan (PKB). Salah satu komponen PKB adalah publikasi ilmiah. Seorang guru yang akan melakukan publikasi ilmiah harus mengawali kegiatannya dengan membuat proposal penelitian. Pembuatan proposal penelitian diawali dengan mencari masalah pendidikan yang dapat diangkat sebagai masalah penelitian. Masalah yang paling dekat dengan guru adalah proses pembelajaran di sekolah yang saat ini menggunakan e-learning akibat kondisi COVID-19. Masalah ini dapat diselesaikan melalui penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pelatihan ini adalah metode ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi dengan target audiens adalah guru-guru di SMK Pembangunan YPT Palembang. Hal ini terlihat dari pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang diajukan oleh peserta dan hasil dari kuisioner yang diberikan. Kesimpulan dari hasil kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah kegiatan telah dilaksanakan dengan lancar dan mendapat respon yang positif dari para peserta. Pelatihan ini telah memberikan informasi bagi guru dalam penyusunan proposal PTK. Harapannya, guru dapat memahami dan selanjutnya mampu mengembangkan proposal penelitian tindakan kelas untuk mengatasi berbagai permasalahan yang ada di kelas.

Abstract

One category in the scope of the science process is the category using scientific evidence. The purpose of this science literacy test is to know the extent to which students' literacy skills. The test was conducted on September 11, 2017. Respondents were Physics students who took Basic Chemistry course in the first semester. The highest student grade score was 56.5, the lowest was 17.4 with the average of 35.3 points. The results showed that the ability to use scientific evidence of students in the low category.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan wawasan para guru agar dapat melakukan proses assesment sehingga menjadi lebih baik. Selain itu juga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan instrumen penilaian pada ranah kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor dengan benar. Intrumen penilaian pembelajaran yang berkualitas merupakan alat ukur untuk mengetahui pencapaian hasil belajar siswa. Pentingnya instrumen penilaian didasari dengan kegunaan instrumen tersebut yang dapat memberi penilaian yang autentik serta ketercapaian dalam kompetensi dalam melakukan kegiatan proses pembelajaran. Tes sering dijadikan sebagai satu-satunya alat pengambil keputusan tentang peserta didik pada pembelajaran. Padahal seluruh hasil belajar tidak dapat dinilai hanya menggunakan tes. Instrumen penilaian di sekolah terdiri dari instrumen penilaian ranah kognitif, afektif maupun psikomotorik. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini para guru diberikan wawasan sekaligus kemampuan secara teknis dalam menyusun instrumen penilaian, dengan menggunakan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab serta penugasan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan penilaian angket dari kegiatan ini kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar dan mendapatkan respon yang positif dari peserta guru di SMA Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand students' concepts on indicators exemplifying the level of understanding of student concepts through guided inquiry. The population of this study was all  grade XI students in one of the high schools in Palembang. This research is quantitative research. The results of understanding students' concepts can be seen from the results of the posttest of each class using t-test. Based on the results of the study showed there were differences between students in the experimental class and the control class. This can be seen from the t-test using SPSS 22 obtained significant results (2 –tailled  of 0.00. These results indicate the guided inquiry model has an influence on understanding the concepts of physics.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a Jumanji flashcard game media for valid and practical media. Research and development methods are used in this study. The research phase starts from potential and problem analysis, data collection phase, product design phase, design validation phase, design revision phase, trial and product revision phase. Interview sheets, questionnaires and documentation obtained research data. Data collection techniques used interview sheets, material expert validation questionnaires, media expert questionnaires and student response questionnaires. The results obtained are the feasibility of the Jumanji flashcard game based on the assessment of material experts with a percentage of 88.67%, media experts 90%, and student responses 92% in the small group trial obtained very good category. Aspects of material validation consist of accuracy, depth and completeness of the material. Aspects of media expert validation consist of function, design and quality of media. Student responses related to the practice of the Jumanji flashcard game media. The Jumanji flashcard game media developed was feasible and could be used in physics learning for junior high school students for measurement.

Abstract

Abstract:  This study aims to develop physics teaching materials for hooke's law material based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) that are valid, practical and have a potential effect on improving the ability to understand students' concepts. This type of research is development research using the Rowntree development model which includes the planning stage, development stage and evaluation stage. The evaluation stage using Tessmer's formative evaluation includes self-evaluation, expert review, one to one evaluation, small group evaluation, and field test. The results of the data analysis showed that the teaching materials developed received an average of 3.59 at the expert review stage with a very valid category. Stage one to one obtained an average of 4.34 with a very practical category. The one to one evaluation stage obtained an average of 4.28 with a very practical category. Based on the results of the pretest-posttest 0.59 with a moderate category. So it can be concluded that contextual teaching and learning-based teaching materials are very valid, very practical, and have a potential impact on students.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar fisika materi hukum hooke berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) yang valid, praktis dan memiliki efek potensial untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Development Research) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Rowntree yang meliputi tahap perencanaan, tahap pengembangan dan tahap evaluasi. Tahap evaluasi menggunakan evaluasi formatif Tessmer meliputi self evaluation, expert review, one to one evaluation, small group evaluation, dan field test. Hasil analisis data  menunnjukkan  bahwa  bahan  ajar yang dikembangkan mendapat rata-rata 3,59 pada tahap expert review dengan kategori sangat valid. Tahap one to one memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 4,34 dengan kategori sangat praktis. Tahap one to  one evaluation memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 4,28 dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil pretest-posttest 0,59 dengan kategori sedang. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis contextual teaching and learning sangat valid, sangat praktis, serta memiliki dampak potensial bagi peserta didik.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is that through community service activities it is hoped that it can increase the insight of teachers so that they can carry out the media that it becomes better in learning process. In addition, variatif mmedia can also improve the ability of teachers to develop interactive media to increase quality result of study in cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains correctly. Media has main role to delivery information to student in order to give meaningfully study. Through this community service activity, teachers are given insight as well as technical skills to design e-modul and e-book are using flipbook. Based on the results of observations and questionnaire assessments from this activity, the activity went smoothly and received a positive response from teacher participants at SMA Negeri 15 OKU.
