Abstract

PT. X merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri pembuatan dan pelapisan (coating) pipa baja,. Pada tahun 2012, target produksi yang telah ditetapkan perusahaan sebesar 2000 ton/bulan. Target produksi tersebut mampu dicapai pada tiap bulannya Namun, pada bulan Maret, April, Mei, dan Agustus, perusahaan tidak mampu memenuhi target. Tidak tercapainya target produksi ini diindikasikan karena terjadinya kerusakan mesin/peralatan produksi akibat manajemen sistem perawatan dan pemeliharaan mesin/peralatan yang belum efektif. Untuk itu perlu adanya perhitungan efektifitas mesin/peralatan dengan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), kemudian menghitung OEE six big losses untuk menghitung besarnya masing-masing faktor yang menyebabkan kerugian pada proses produksi, selanjutnya melakukan identifikasi faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya kerusakan mesin dengan metode fishbone, dan melakukan upaya perbaikan dengan metode Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) untuk menurunkan resiko kerusakan mesin sehingga target produksi dapat terpenuhi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan nilai rata-rata availability sebesar 69%, performance efficiency sebesar 47%, rate of quality product sebesar 95% dan nilai OEE sebesar 29,50%. Dari enam faktor six big losees tersebut, didapatkan 2 faktor yang memiliki nilai total time losses terbesar yang akan menjadi prioritas dilakukan perbaikan dengan diagram sebab akibat. Kedua faktor tersebut yaitu faktor idling and minor stoppages yang memiliki nilai total time losses sebesar 2024,1 jam dan faktor setup and adjusment losses yang memiliki nilai total time losses sebesar 869 jam. Faktor idling and minor stoppages memiliki nilai total time losses tertinggi pertama. Hal ini disebabkan karena bagian-bagian mesin sering mengalami gangguan berulang-ulang dan mesin beroperasi tanpa menghasilkan produk sehingga menghambat kelancaran proses produksi. Faktor setup and adjusment losses memiliki nilai total time losses tertinggi kedua. Hal ini disebabkan karena proses penyesuaian (setup) yang dilakukan operator saat mengoperasikan mesin sehingga dapat menggangu proses produksi.

Abstract

Transportasi Kereta Api (KA) merupakan alat angkut yang efisien, cepat, relatif aman dan adaptif terhadap perkembangan jaman. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisa display persinyalan KA dan semboyan 8 di Stasiun Langen meliputi dimensi, jarak visual, sudut pandang, warna, jarak dan letak sinyal serta papan semboyan 8. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis display, yaitu dengan membandingkan tebal dan tinggi simbol angka batas kecepatan, kemudian menentukan jarak visual yang optimal bagi masinis untuk melihat sinyal, berdasarkan jarak visual dan tinggi sinyal, kemudian dihitung sudut visual yang terbentuk antara sinyal, mata masinis dengan garis pandang normal standar apakah melebihi sudut batas pembedaan warna atau tidak serta analisis warna sinyal. Selain display, hal-hal yang mendukung keamanan terhadap display sinyal juga diperhitungkan, seperti jarak papan semboyan 8 yang disesuaikan dengan waktu respon manusia standar dan  jarak antar sinyal yang disesuaikan dengan jarak pengereman Kereta Api rangkaian terpanjang yang melintas di Langen. Jarak pengereman tersebut dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus Minden dan Simulasi.

Abstract

Manajemen K3 memiliki kaitan yang sangat erat dengan manajemen risiko karena keberadaan bahaya dapat mengakibatkan terjadinya kecelakaan atau insiden serta risiko menggambarkan besarnya potensi bahaya. PT.X adalah sebuah perusahaan fabrikasi yang berada di Cilegon yang memproduksi diantaranya pressure vessel, heat exchanger, fire & water tube boiler. Dari data tahun 2009-2012 proses grinding dan welding memiliki frekuensi kecelakaan kerja yang sering terjadi dibanding dengan proses lain dengan total kecelakaan kerja sebanyak 63 kasus. Tujuan penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu mengidentifikasi risiko kecelakaan kerja, menghitung risk score kecelakaan kerja, menghitung biaya kecelakaan kerja dan mengidentifikasi usulan pengendalian risiko kecelakaan kerja. Metode Robinson adalah salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk menumbuhkan motivasi dalam pengendalian kecelakaan kerja dengan melakukan pengolahan data terhadap data kecelakaan kerja yang terjadi pada industri dengan tiga klasifikasi variabel yaitu bagian badan yang terluka, sifat jejas dan ada tidaknya hilang hari kerja. Hasil yang didapat identifikasi risiko bahaya kecelakaan kerja pada proses grinding dan welding diantaranya terkena percikan api, tergores material yang berkarat, cedera muskoloskeletal, terkena material lain yang mudah terbakar, terpeleset, terkena droplet metal panas, terkena spatter, terjepit..arde (ground), mata kemasukan gram. tersetrum, terhirup debu sisa material, terjadi ledakan gas, terhirup gas pengelasan, bising jatuh dari ketinggian, terkena fume dan terpapar cahaya ultraviolet. Risk score terbesar pada tahun 2010 sebesar 285.42% dengan nilai IFR 10.69, ISR 2.67 dan probability sebesar 0.10. Total biaya kecelakaan kerja langsung Rp 846.800 dan biaya overhead Rp 418.489. Usulan pengendalian risiko diataranya dengan penggunaan APD dengan tetap adanya pengawasan, adanya punisment atau sangsi apabila ada yang melanggar dan adanya reward kepada pekerja yang mematuhi K3, area bebas dari material atau bahan yang mudah terbakar, memberi arahan kepada pekerja atau operator (safety induction), menyediakan APAR (Alat Pemadam Api Ringan), diberi sekat atau partisi dan jarak antar proses atau kegiatan, penempatan sirkulasi udara yang tepat dan benar, tersedianya isolator getaran pada grinding.

Abstract

Ginger Rhizome is potential to be sold in form of ginger oil. The distillation process was needed to fi nd out the most profi table ginger to be sold in form of ginger oil. The research objectives are to fi nd out comparison of “rendemen” from rind and fl esh of gajah, emprit, and red ginger using water and steam distillation process with capacity: 5000 gram of raw materials. Characteristic test performed to fi nd out the feasibility of sales accordance with Essential Oil Association Standard. Result showed that the highest rendemen is red ginger rind: 1,102%, while the lowest is gajah ginger fl esh: 0,248%. Gajah ginger oil is not feasible to be sold in world market because of it soaping number that reached 25.52%.

Abstract

Abstrak Produk yang sudah tersertifikasi halal dapat beredar di berbagai wilayah di Indonesia. Saat ini, proses pengajuan sertifikasi halal, dilayani di LPPOM MUI. Bahan baku yang digunakan oleh produsen menjadi bagian dari keharusan untuk didaftarkan dalam borang matrix bahan baku tanpa terkecuali. Bidang audit mengusulkan kepada komisi fatwa berupa sekumpulan hasil borang audit yang telah lolos dalam rapat post audit. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat tingkat penggunaan bahan tersertifikasi halal dan asal produk dari perusahaan yang mengajukan sertifikasi halal di Banten selama tahun 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka terhadap bahan dari tiap produsen yang diusulkan oleh bidang audit LPPOM MUI Banten kepada komisi Fatwa MUI di tahun 2017. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  asal sertifikasi halal  yang digunakan oleh sebagian besar produsen di Provinsi Banten secara berturut-turut berasal dari LPPOM Pusat 75,78%; LPPOM Banten 7,08%; LPPOM Jawa Barat 5,21%; LPPOM Jawa Timur 4,70%; LPPOM DKI 2,22%. Produsen di Banten, sebagian besar menggunakan kelompok Roti dan Kue (bakery) 37,97%; kelompok makanan ringan (snack) 17,62%; kelompok daging dan produk daging olahan 11,56%; kelompok restorant 8,92% dan kelompok katering 6,57%. Semakin tinggi rangking kelompok produk yang digunakan oleh produsen, maka semakin tinggi frekuensi produk ditemukan oleh auditor LPPOM MUI Banten.. Kata kunci: sertifikasi halal, bisang audit, komisi fatwa, LPPOM, MUI

Abstract

Android application is designed for agro product E-Commerce that utilize the MySQL database. This application aims to help the Banten Provincial Government to realize the target of corn self-sufficiency in Banten by connecting farmers directly with their consumers. Java, XML, and PHP are used to develop this application. The E-Commerce adheres to the type of C2C system where third party accounts are employed in the transaction. It has a multi-level user system where anyone can register as a seller, buyer, or transportation service. Sellers and transportation services can directly promote their goods in this system. After clicking the button on the application, the Buyers can immediately make transactions quickly, safely, and comfortably. BlackBox and compatibility testing were carried out and produced 100% success. It is indicated that our application is suitable for the digital corn trade management system in Banten to strengthen food security.

Abstract

The halal certified processed meat industry in Banten province reaches 147 industries spread across eight districts / cities in Banten Province. Evaluation of the HAS-2300 implementation has been carried out periodically, but there are still various weaknesses that result in the company's performance being not optimal. Risk control has also been implemented to anticipate various contaminants and activities that may harm employees, but there are still errors in implementing work procedures. Risk control through participatory ergonomics is needed to find the most critical point in the halal meat processing industry. Respondents in this study were determined based on purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the greatest risk comes from social-technical factors, namely that humans are the main factor at the critical point of materials. Although the process of slaughter has been assisted by the adoption of technology, the existence of humans is not replaced by machines. Animal slaughter techniques are the key to meeting the critical point of meat products

Abstract

One of the services of LPPOM MUI Banten to the community is to provide information through the website, through which the community can independently access various information related to halal certification. In order to achieve optimum service, the website itself should meet the needs of the community, and it should be communicative and informative. This research aims to develop the information system of halal service based on user requirement through ergonomics participatory approach and also to design website by considering ergonomic display. The method used was one group pretest-posttest design, while the sampling was performed using systemic random sampling approach (n = 45). Result shows that the information system of halal service available on the website needs to be developed using ergonomic participatory approach. The development of Halal Information System using participatory ergonomics approach is able to increase user satisfaction by 19.27% (pretest average 23.82 ± 2.81 and post-test 69.73 ± 3.1). The formula development is also discussed.

Abstract

Total Ergonomics Approach is application of SHIP (Systemic, Holistic, Interdisciplinary and Participatory) through appropriate technology consideration in conducting design of working condition, work attitude and work system. The Total Ergonomics Approach model has been implemented in various disciplines such as Industrial, Agriculture, Fisheries, and Computer design, Education, Health, Hospitality, Building and Religious. Since 2006 to 2016 (10 years) was found nine scientific sectors that apply the concept of Total Ergonomics Approach. The results of the implementation indicate an incensement in the quality of workers’ health through the reduction of musculoskeletal complaints, fatigue, workload and some other complaints as an impact of ergonomic intervention. The science of ergonomics can be applied to solve various problems in a multidisciplinary range of sciences. Ergonomic improvements take account of human abilities, skills and limitations. Abstract

Metal manufacturing industries in Bali are spread in Klungkung Regency, Bali. The position of the metal manufacturing industries is in buffer sector of Bali tourism development, so that the stability of sales and production in each period continues to increase. Demand for product quality assurance is carrying out by exporters, including guaranteeing environmentally friendly process. There are many high-quality products are rejected in international market due to the fact that metal manufacturing industries have not consideredhuman and environmental factors (eco-labeling) in their production activity. Companies are switched from Industrial Systems Type I to Closed Loop Industrial System. Various environmental management and industrial management approaches have been carried out, but the current literature review has not reached human physiological aspect. This research is experimental research using treatment by subject design. The result shows that the implementation of clean production technology through participatory ergonomic is able toincrease work performance, in the form of the decrease of musculoskeletal disorders as much as 34.66%.Keywords: Physiological, Musculoskeletal disorders, Metal industry.
