Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah pemwilayahan potensi dan kendala serta pengelolaan sumberdaya lahan pertanian tanaman pangan secara spasial di Kecamatan Wangi-Wangi.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menyusun satuan lahan melalui analisis spasial overlay.Pengumpulan data melalui survei lapangan dan metode grid dengan jarak 500 meter. Analisis kelas kesesuaian lahan menggunakan metode pencocokkan (matching) dengan melibatkan banyak faktor dan kriteria dari kualitas lahan.Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh kesesuaian lahan aktual tanaman jagung berada pada kelas sesuai marginal (S3) dantidak sesuai (N). Untuk tanaman talas diperoleh 3 (tiga) kelas yaitu tidak sesuai (N), sesuai marginal (S3), serta cukup sesuai (S2). Kesesuaian lahan potensial tanaman jagung dan talas masing-masing diperoleh 3 (tiga) kelas yaitu cukup sesuai (S2), sesuai marginal (S3), dan tidak sesuai (N).Faktor kendala untuk tanaman jagung dan talas di Kecamatan Wangi-Wangi adalah temperatur (tc), ketersediaan air (wa), ketersediaan oksigen (oa), media perakaran (rc), sodisitas (xn), bahaya erosi (eh), penyiapan lahan (lp). Bentuk pengelolaan untuk pengembangan tanaman jagung dan talas adalah perbaikan sistem drainase, pengairan, reklamasi, konservasi tanah dan air.Kata kunci: analisis spasial, penggunaan lahan, tanaman pangan, karts, Wangi-Wangi

Abstract

The carrying capacity of the regional environment is a study that needs to be considered in spatial planning of city area.  The purpose of this paper is to determine characteristics ecoregion, distribution of environmental service index, and status of environmental carrying capacity on providing food and water supply, in planning development plan urban area of Lapai.  The method used is a spatial and tabular analysis using a geographic information system on the characteristics of ecoregion, environmental service index and status of the carrying capacity of environment for providing food and water.  The results of this study are the characteristics of ecoregions that play a role in determining the environmental service index of food and water supply are landscapes, natural vegetation and land cover.  The status of the carrying capacity of food supply in Lapai urban area is still in surplus, with details of 166.733 Ha or 58.24% not having crossed the threshold of need, and 119.5409 Ha or 41.76% having crossed the threshold. The status of the carrying capacity of water supply throughout the entire region is still in surplus.Keywords: carrying capacity, environmental services, food, clean water

Abstract

Environmental damage due to mining activities has always been a concern of researchers, especially in rock mining activities. The purpose of this study is to analyze the existing conditions of environmental damage due to stone mining and to analyze the distribution of potential environmental damage in the stone mining area of North Moramo District. The method used is the analysis of land use change, land cover, water quality analysis, and analysis of the Estimation of the Distribution of Potential Environmental Damage. The result of this research is that the highest level of damage occurred at Station I. Types of forest land use are significantly reduced by about 89.12 ha in 2021. The level of land cover change can be seen by the reduction in land area in the Healthy Plants category (NDVI 0.33 - 0.66) reaching 182.46 ha. The condition of raw water quality status is generally still below the quality standard. The total alleged potential for environmental damage due to stone mining activities in North Moramo District reached 129.13 ha. Keywords: Mining, Stone, Environmental Damage Kerusakan lingkungan karena adanya aktivitas pertambangan selalu menjadi perhatian para peneliti, khusunya pada aktivitas penambangan batu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis kondisi eksisting kerusakan lingkungan akibat penambangan batu dan untuk menganalisis sebaran potensi kerusakan lingkungan di masa mendatang di kawasan penambangan batu Kecamatan Moramo Utara. Metode yang digunakan yaitu analisis perubahan penggunaan lahan, penutupan lahan, analisis kualitas air, dan analisis Pendugaan Sebaran Potensi Kerusakan Lingkungan. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu tingkat kerusakan paling besar terjadi di Stasiun I. Jenis Penggunaan lahan hutan yang berkurang secara signifikan sekitar 89,12 ha pada tahun 2021. Tingkat perubahan penutupan lahan ditandai dengan penyusutan luas kategori Tanaman Sehat (NDVI 0,33 - 0,66) mencapai 182,46 ha. Kondisi status mutu air baku ecara garis besar masih berada di bawah standar baku mutu. Total dugaan potensi kerusakan lingkungan akibat aktivitas penambangan batu Kecamatan Moramo Utara mencapai 129,13 ha.Kata Kunci: Penambangan, Batu, Kerusakan Lingkungan,

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of rice straw mulch and plus organic fertilizer residue on the growth of glutinous corn. This study was conducted from May to July, 2022 at the Field  Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Halu Oleo University, Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi. This study used a randomized block design with split-plot design treatments. Main plots were residue of rice straw mulch (M): without residue of rice straw mulch (M0), 4 t ha-1 residue of rice straw mulch (M1), and 8 t ha-1 residue of rice straw mulch (M2). Main subplots were residue of plus organic fertilizer (P): without residue of plus organic fertilizer (P0), 2.5 t ha-1 residue of plus organic fertilizer (P1), 5 t ha-1 residue of plus organic fertilizer (P2), and 7.5 t ha-1 residue of plus organic fertilizer (P3). Each experimental unit was repeated three times. Measured variables were plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, , plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, and flowering age. The data were analyzed using ANOVA, if the analysis result was significant (Fhit Ftab), then analyzed further using DMRT on α=0.05. The research results showed a single effect in 8 t ha-1 residue of rice straw mulch  (M2) or 7.5 t ha-1 residue of plus organic fertilizer (P3) by producing the highest growth of glutinous corn

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of various types of manure on the production of mung bean. The research was carried out at the Field Laboratory of Experimental Gardens II, Faculty of Agriculture, Halu Oleo University, Kendari, from October to December 2021. The study used a randomized block design consisting of four treatments, namely control (P0), cow manure 10 t ha-1 (P1), goat manure 10 t ha-1 (P2) and chicken manure 10 t ha-1 (P3). Each treatment was repeated 4 times so that there were 16 experimental units. Variables observed were number of pods, pod weight, seed weight, weight of 100 seeds, seed production ton ha-1, analyzed by variance. If the variance shows a significant effect, then proceed with the Least Significant Difference Test (BNT) at the 95% confidence level. The results showed that the application of manure can increase the production of mung bean plants. Treatment of chicken manure 10 t ha-1 (P3) gave a better effect on the number of pods, pod weight, seed weight and seed production t ha-1.
