Abstract

This article aims to find out the teachings of the Koran in terms of social ethics in QS. al-Hujurat verses 9-13 in the perspective of Tafsir Al-Ibriz by Indonesian scholars, KH. Bisri Musthofa. This is motivated by the fact that the development of the times with technological advances has had a significant impact on moral decadence. Therefore, it is important to know what forms of social ethics are contained in QS. al-Hujurat verses 9-13 on Tafsir Al-Ibriz. By using the descriptive-analytic method, it can be concluded that there are five forms of social ethics in the five verses (9-13) of surah al-Hujurat which play a very important role in social life, namely: first, being fair (verse 9), second, being conflict resolution (verse 10), the third, respects each other (verse 11), the fourth, is open (verse 12) and the fifth, respects differences. These five ethical values play an important role in the realization of peace in social life.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the ethics of divorce in QS. al-Thalaq which have theological and sociological implications. By using the type of research library research and thematic interpretation method (maudhu'i) by taking one letter, namely QS. al-Thalaq, this article concludes that the ethics of divorce in QS. There are 4 al-Thalaq, namely: (1) the husband drops divorce when the wife is pure from menstruation and has not been interfered with; (2) Allah forbids the believers to take the divorced wife out of the house before her iddah runs out; (3) The iddah of a woman who is not old enough (not yet an adult) is that she has never had menstruation; and (4) the iddah of an elderly woman, namely three months, while for a woman who is pregnant and her husband has died, her iddah is until she gives birth to the baby she is carrying. The theological implications of QS. al-Thalaq includes: confidence in Allah's help and confidence in His sustenance. While the sociological implications include: divorce can solve household life problems, does not break friendships and is included in the destiny of a mate.

Abstract

The use of Isrā’īliyyāt in interpretation is still questioned. However, Isrā’īliyyāt has colored several commentaries' works, including Tafsir Nusantara. One of which is Tafsir al-Ibriz. Using the Javanese language and Pegon writing as the interpreter's selected language and introduction writing is one of the interpretation's distinctive features. Historically, Isrā’īliyyāt is frequently found in bi al-ma'tsur interpretations. Still, it turns out that the dominating al-Ibriz Tafsir ra'yi is also found by Isrā’īliyyāt, which has its peculiarities in its application and relation to the sociocultural context of writing. This study employed library research using qualitative approaches. Tafsir al-Ibrz was the main data source. In contrast, the secondary sources included journals and others. Documentation strategies were used in the analytical methodology. It also used the content analysis method of Norman Fairclough's discourse analysis methodology. In this research, the Isrā’īliyyāt sample accounts for Ashhab al-Kahf, Prophet Noah's Ark, and Luqman's identity. According to the findings of this study, Al-Ibriz's Tafsir includes Isrā’īliyyāt and then comments on the advantages and suggestions that can be followed. Regarding its sociocultural context, Tafsir al-Ibriz was composed amid Javanese society's social culture, which is still saturated with the tradition of believing in ancestors and the love of stories. The narrative of Isrā’īliyyāt described in this study is a sociological strategy meant to lead individuals away from their ancestral/mystical beliefs and toward the Qur’an.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tuntunan al-Qur’an Surat al- Ḥujurāt ayat 4-5 dalam hal etika dan pesan moral yang terkandung didalamnya. Alasan penulis memilih dua ayat ini sebagai fokus bahasan karena didalamnya Allah SWT. memberi isyarat kepada kita tentang bagaimana etika terhadap Rasul Saw., para penerusnya dan sesama manusia pada umumnya. Hemat penulis, jika ayat ini dikupas secara mendalam, tentu akan melahirkan sebuah konsep etika yang bisa menjadi pegangan setiap muslim sehingga kasus-kasus penganiayaan terhadap ulama yang kerap terjadi tidak terulang kembali. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pustaka (liberary research) dengan model kualitatif dan menggunakan metode tafsir tematik, lalu menganalisis data tersebut secara deskriptif-analitik. Hasil dan Pembahasan penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Ayat 4 menerangkan tentang pentingnya penghormatan kepada Nabi saw. dan para penerus kenabian serta tuntunan bersikap terhadap orang lain sesuai keadaan dan kedudukannya. Ayat 5 menyinggung tentang salah satu sifat ahli surga yaitu sabar. Ayat diatas memberikan beberapa pesan kepada pembaca, diantaranya: Pelajaran tentang tingginya martabat dan agungnya kedudukan Nabi Muhammad saw. dan Penghormatan kepada beliau, Penghormatan serupa juga dilakukan kepada para penerus risalah kenabian, memosisikan seseorang sesuai keadaan dan kedudukannya, memperhatikan etika saat bertamu, Memperhatikan bahasa yang digunakan dalam komunikasi baik langsung ataupun melalui media komunikasi.

Abstract

Understanding the Qur'an in context is more important, than in text, in this study will use the approach conveyed by Fazlul Rahman from the Double Movement theory, then the context analysis is added with the analytical method by Abdullah Saeed and this research wants to reveal how the relationship of the story of the Prophet Yusuf as. with the historical life of the prophet Muhammad's da'wah. Contextualization of the meaning of the text of Surah Yusuf and the meaning of the context that surrounds or lies behind the history of the da'wah of the Prophet Muhammad. At that time, Patient Management which became the big theme in this discussion was a conclusion drawn from the meaning of the text and the meaning of the context, so that patient management could be understood as a method to build or manage patience based on the story of the Prophet Yusuf (as) who was able to strengthen the soul of the Prophet Muhammad. peace be upon him in the year of sorrow. In the Qur'an Surah Yusuf verses 102-103 Allah swt explains: “(102) Remember some of the unseen news that We have revealed to you (Muhammad saw.); even though you were not beside them, when they agreed to arrange a ruse (to put the Prophet Yusuf (as.) into the well). (103) and most people will not believe even if you want to. (104) and you do not ask them anything in return (for this call of yours), because that call is a teaching for the whole world.

Abstract

This article attempts to review the Qur'anic review of the urgency of unity in the midst of diversity by reflecting on the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, the price of death for the Indonesian people. By using descriptive analytical qualitative methods, it can be concluded that diversity and diversity in Indonesia is a necessity. Therefore, Islam has encouraged its adherents to love and tolerate each other, to knit the ties of ukhuwah basyariyah and to build harmonious relations between human beings despite different religions, races, ethnicities, and others. In the view of the Qur'an, diversity and diversity can actually be a rope of unity and not be a way of division that can bring down each other and cause war in a country. The expression of the Qur'an is closely related to diversity and diversity in line with the slogan of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia Price Mati, because it has become the foundation of unity in the midst of diversity in Indonesia

Abstract

The development of methods for interpreting the Quran has evolved from the time of Prophet Muhammad SAW to the present modern era. During the time of the Prophet, the interpretation of the Quran was carried out directly by him and his companions with a relatively straightforward understanding. However, as time passed, the methods of interpretation underwent significant developments. Initially, the interpretation of the Quran was done directly from oral sources and was not well-documented. However, after the Prophet's passing, the companions began to develop more systematic methods of interpreting the Quran. They utilized the direct understanding from the Prophet as well as the social and cultural context of that time. Subsequently, during the era of the Tabi'in (the generation after the companions), the methods of interpretation continued to evolve with more detailed explanations and interpretations. The Tabi'in scholars sought to elaborate on the meanings and messages of the Quran in greater detail, both in linguistic and historical contexts. The development of interpretation methods continued in the following periods. In the contemporary and modern era, many interpretation books have been compiled by contemporary scholars. The methods of interpretation used encompass linguistic, historical, contextual, and philosophical approaches to the Quran. Modern scholars combine scientific knowledge and methodologies with traditional understanding to better comprehend the Quran.
