Abstract

Have done the classroom action research was to know the increase of result  learn biology with to approach of STAD Cooperative learning to student class II SMUN  1 Selat Panjang on February – April 2004.  Samples were collected students class II.1  to amount 42 people.  Various parameters such as: Student reserve capacity, produce student learn, student development value, teams appreciation value and students activity. The result of student learn at Cycle I with concept Food and Digestion System at meeting I (81,62), meeting II (79,02), meeting III  (74,22) and meeting IV (82.43). At Cycle II with concept Excretory System of average value at meeting I (83,59), meeting II  (84,86) and meeting 111 (87,29). For student development that contribute for teams appreciation value at Cycle I, 8 teams to get super appreciations and  1 team to get enormous appreciation. Whereas at Cycle II, from 9 teams, all teams to get super appreciations. The Student activity in cycle I equal to 77.19 (very well category), cycle II  equal  to 84.85  (in  very  well  category).  Based  on  the research result,  that  approach of STAD Cooperative Learning can to increase the result of student learning.   Key words : Biology, Cooperative learning

Abstract

ABSTRACT Research of development has been done which is aim to develop student work sheets based on scientific approach for subjects digestion system on XI grade in senior high school. This research was did in study program of biology and 5 senior high school Pekanbaru on july until august 2015.  Subjects of research were basic competencies 3.7 on digestion system subjects. This research was started by  analyzing the curriculum, syllabus, and work sheets that arranged by Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP). And then making the new design of the work sheets according to scientific approach they are 3 lecturers and 2 teachers. Validation aspects that was assessed consist of 3 aspects, which are planning, pedagogic, and the contents. After the validation, the work sheets were fixed according to the inputs and comments from validators and the work sheets part II were produced. After that the work sheets were given limited trial with spreading the students questionnaire responses in 5 senior high school to 17 students on XI grade science class. And next the work sheets were re-revision according to the inputs and comments from the limited trial so that produced the final result of the work sheets. The average of validation results that has been continued develop on digestion system subject are 3.26, 5.50, 3.40. Student responses to the work sheets aspects were 85 with very good category to non-experimental work sheets and 80 with good category to experimental work sheets. the research result showed that development of student work sheets based on scientific approach  for digestion system \subjects has successfully developed using develop model ADDIE with very valid and very good category. Keywords: development, student work sheets, scientific approach, digestion system

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to describe competence of biology teachers at public senior high school pekanbaru on action research. This study hold on Desember 2015 until March 2016. The sample of this study was 29 biology teachers at Public Senior High School in Pekanbaru that selected by purposive sampling. This study conducted with closed-ended and open–ended questionnaire. The closed-ended questionnaire consist of 17 items and divided into 3 indicator. The indicator are motivation, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skill and then 42 item about Class action Reset included 4 indicator. The indicatore are (Device class action research, backgroundclass action research, Implementation and Results class action research). The whole item questionnaire enclosed declared valid and reliable. Closed questionnaire obstacle teachers through Pearson correlation test, where all items declared valid, reliability test questionnaire through Cronbach's alpha test alpha of 0.89 was obtained. Validity and reliability were analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Studies) v ersion17.00f or Windows. Whereas the questionnaire reliability test comprehension test values obtained using 4.9 anates 0.9. Data were analyzed descriptively. Overview obstacles Biology teacher SMA Pekanbaru in envolving the action research as follows: Motivation show sufficient criteria with a mean 3.01, ICT Skills showed sufficient criteria to average 3.39. While understanding class action research also showed sufficient criteria with the average percentage of 61.87%. Abstract

This research aims to determine the perceptions of lecturer towards the integration of character education in the groups MKK botany at the Biology Education Program Faculty of Education University of Riau. The sample in this research is lecturer’s in MKK botany taken by total sampling. The data technique collecting is perception questionaires to determine lecturer perceptions of the integration of character education and tests to determine lecturer understanding. The results showed that the perception of lecturer through perception questionaire for each sub-indicators definition of character, the function of character education, the goal of character education, the scope of character education, the implementation of character education and the character education in university is very good, while understanding the character education of lecturer’s is very good. The conclusions in this research is perceptions of lecturer towards the integration of character education in the groups MKK botany is very good.Keywords: Character Education, MKK Botany, Perception.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve the biological activity and learning outcomes of students with learning model Cooperative Script implementation on SMP VII5 class Pekanbaru 14 Academic Year 2012/2013. The research was conducted in April-May 2013. The subjects were 14 grade students VII5 SMP Pekanbaru, amounting to 32 people (15 students and 17 female students). Parameters measured were student activity consisting of 6 indicators and student learning outcomes consisting of absorption, mastery learning of individual students as well as teachers' activities. The average activity of students in the first cycle is 78.75% (average) increase in cycle II with an average activity of students is 91.92% (excellent). Absorption of students in the first cycle is 77.56 (enough) increased to 82.75 (enough). Mastery learning students in the first cycle is 59.38% (completed) increased in the second cycle to 81.25% (complete). Teachers activities in the first cycle with the average of 94.4% (very good) increased in the second cycle is 95.8% (very good). From the research it can be concluded that the application of learning models Cooperative Script can increase the activity and student learning outcomes biology class Pekanbaru VII5 SMP 14 Academic Year 2012/2013.Keywords: Coopertaif Script, student activities, Biology Learning Outcom

Abstract

This Research aim to increase result and activity learn student by using model study of co-operative of picture and picture at class of XI Science SMA N 1 Ukui school year 2009-2010. This research represent research of class action, done in May 2010. Research Subject is class student of XI Science SMAN 1 Ukui amounting to 21 people, consist of 10 men and 11 women. With research parameter : student activity, result of learning and teacher activity. Activity student mean at first cycle that is 78,41% (good) and 82,28% (good) at Second cycle. Mean Absorpsion student at first cycle , first meeting owning mean 78,33 ( good),second meeting that is 73,16 (enough),third meeting that is 76,19 (good), and daily restating mean 72,47 (enough). At second cycle,first meeting owning mean 76,5 (good),second meeting that is 81,5 (good) and daily restating mean that is 78,1 (good). Complete learn student at second cycle is 85,7% (very good) and 95 % (very good) at second cycle. Appreciation of group first cycle there is 1 group of with super predicate. and 3 group of predicate, while at second cycle all group have excitement predicate. The rate actitivity is 96,96% (very good) and 100% (very good) at second cycle. From result of research can be concluded that usage of model study of co-operative of picture and picture can improve result and activity learn class student biology of XI Science SMA N Ukui in the year.

Abstract

  Study on the ability of the students in composing the TPK for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year Junior High School students was conducted by the year of 2003  in the FKIP  UNR1, Pekanbaru.  Aims o f this study are toi understand the ability of the students in writing the TPK teaching materials and the ability of students in designing the TPK teaching methods. Data were obtained by analyzing the TPK paper works created by students. Result o f this study indicated that 63,53% TPK written for the  1st Junior High School student categorized  as  “fair”  and  the  other are “poor” , but the teaching method  of 98,34%  o f them  are well designed. Around 77% o f TPK for the 2nd year students are well written and the 94% o f them are well designed. The TPK for the 2nd year students, in contrast are poor written, but 98,99% are well designed Based on the results ,  it can be concluded  that the Biology  Study program  students are able to design the TPK, but they have low ability in writing this work. Abstract

This research is a research which is aimed to improve students scientific behavior and biology studying achievement by implementing guided inqury learning strategy in class VIII7 SMPN 14 Pekanbaru in Academic Year 2012/2013. This research was conducted in October-November 2012. The subject of this research was student of class VIII7 of SMPN 14 Pekanbaru. The number of students was 32 students (15 boys and 17 girls). The Parameter was students scientific behaviour that consist of 7 indicators and students studying achievement consisted of comprehension ability, students passing individually and teachers activities. The average of students behaviour in cycle 1 was 77.78% (moderate) increased in cycle 2 in the average of 86.99% (good). Students comprehension ability in cycle 1 was 77.84% (moderate) increased became 83.21% (moderate). The students passing studying in cycle 1 was 59.38% (pass) increased in cycle 2 became 81.25% (pass). Average of teachers activities in cycle 1 was 90.62% (good) increased in cycle 2 became 100% (very good). From the result of this research it can be concluded that the implementation of guided inquiry can improve the students scientific behaviour and students biology studying achievements in class VIII7 SMPN 14 Pekanbaru in Academic Year 2012/2013.Keywords: Guided Inquiry, Scientific Behaviour, Biology Studying Achiement.

Abstract

A class action research has been done to increase autonomy and brainwork of biology study in class XI Science 3 MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru by using e-learning. This research started on October until December 2010. The subjects of this research were all the students of class XI Science 3 MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru, consists of 11 boys and 18 girls. The parameters on this research are autonomy, brainwork, and student activity. Before using e-learning, the average of student autonomy was 3.25 (enough), after being used e-learning at cycle I, the average of student autonomy is 3.76 (high) and on cycle II increased to 4.11 (high). Brainwork was evaluated from student reservation and study finishing. At cycle I student reservation was 68.45 (less) and at cycle II was 89.47 (increased). Student study finishing increased, which at cycle I was 84.56% (good) to 88.72% (good) at cycle II. From the results of this research concluded that utilizing of e-learning can increase autonomy and brainwork of students from class XI Science 3 MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru academic year 2010/2011.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to determine the ability of the Student Profile Study Program FKIP Riau University Biology Education in Developing Learning Tool on Course PPL II 2013/2014. Research conducted at the University Campus Biology Education FKIP Riau in February 2015 to April 2015. This research is descriptive population in this research is the students of Biology Education FKIP Riau University. While the sample in this study are students who take courses Second Field Experience Program (PPL II) Academic Year 2013/2014 which amounted to 43 people. The research data derived from primary data obtained directly through the instrument in the form of sheets of assessment of learning tools and secondary data obtained from the document recapitulation of the value of the course PPL II Academic Year 2013/2014. Based on the research ability of students PPL II in preparing the study on subjects PPL II Academic Year 2013/2014 can be seen that the RPP showed excellent category criteria with the percentage of 95.17%, LKS demonstrate sufficient criteria categories by percentage of 62.33%, the Draft Evaluation criteria showed excellent category with the percentage of 87.78%, so that the students' ability to construct a learning tool in the course PPL II Academic Year 2013/2014 classified as excellent with the percentage of 81.7%. Key words:  profiles , capabilities , subjects PPL I
