Abstract

The researcher aims to know the suitability of the action with the plan that has been prepared to know the extent to which the implementation of the action can produce changes in accordance with the desired. The instrument used is the test description and the observation sheet. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) using Experimental method on science subjects. Research subjects in class V SD Negeri 101823 Bekala which amounted to 25 people. Implementation of learning by using the experimental method on the subject of Magnet Style goes well. This is seen from the results of teacher observation and student activity, with the details of the observation of teacher activity cycle I is 63,5% that categorized enough into the second cycle is 76% both categorized and student observations on the first cycle is 62% that categorized enough and cycle II ie 74% are categorized well. Student learning outcomes after using the experimental learning method on the subject Magnet Style has increased. Key Words: Learning Outcomes, Experimental Methods

Abstract

Research carried out this is classroom action research (PTK) using the method of demonstration in science subjects. This study aims to determine the conduct of the study and improvement of student learning outcomes on the subject of Qualities of Light. Student learning outcomes in classical obtained 60.52% of students who complete and incomplete 39.48%, average value of student learning outcomes in the first cycle, namely 63.94, student learning outcomes the first cycle is not maximized, and thus continued in The next cycle. The results of the study on the implementation of the second cycle result of learning on the teachers activities a value of 78.5 with both categories, while the activity of students is 86 in both categories. The results of student learning in the classical obtained 86.84% of students who complete and incomplete 13.16%, average value of student learning outcomes in the second cycle is 76.57. Key Word: Learning Results, Methods Demonstration, IPA.

Abstract

This researc was aimed to investigate the differences between aplication of cooperative learning model and individual model using Mini Lab in biology class withs the topic reproduction system in private schools in Medan. The metodology that using in this research is experimental method with application of cooperative learning model at class XI-A SMA YPI and at class XI-A SMA AL-washliyah, then at class XI-B SMA YPI and at class XI-B SMA AL-washliyah using individual model. From the data analysa showed the mean of biology test with appliction of cooperative learning model is 7,61 and standart deviation is 0,34, Meanwhile the mean of biology test with aplication of individual learning model is 6,09 and standart deviation is 0,34. Then hypotheses test with t test show hitung > t table, then ho is rejected and alternatife is excepted. Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Model, Individual

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to produce comic-based learning media. This type of research is development carried out through development which consists of research and research data, planning, product development, expert testing, field testing, and product improvement. The subjects of this study were 21 students. Feasibility is evidenced by the quality of the media made based on the order of material obtained by 4.25 or valid. Student response questionnaires were also conducted with the results obtained, namely 4.5 or very valid. The teacher response questionnaire obtained a score of 4.5 or very valid. Student responses to the simple comics that were developed were ≥ 60% of the 21 class IV respondent students to the 15 questionnaires. This means that the 15 questionnaires were responded positively by the students, while the response to the teacher's questionnaire was ≥ 60% of a respondent from SDN 14 Simbolon Purba to 12 questionnaires and responded positively by the teacher

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of internet use on task completion (PR) of PGSD University Quality Study Program Students in Science Concept Basic Subjects 2019/2020 Academic Year. This type of research is expostfacto with quantitative methods. The results of the average value obtained by the class 2B11 82.74 namely the class that uses the Internet for completing assignments and class 2B12 74.05 ie the class that does not use the internet for task completion. Table frequency of final grade test scores that use the internet for completing assignments and classes that do not use internet for completing assignments can be distributed in a relative frequency table then drawn into a histogram to determine the comparison of students completing assignments using the internet and students completing assignments not using Internet. Hypothesis testing using t test with a significant level of α = 0.05 and dk = (obtained 36.68 (0.975) (76) = 1.73. From the results of hypothesis testing the data can be concluded that there is an effect of task completion on task completion (PR) Quality University Students PGSD Study Program in Science Basic Concept Courses.Keywords: Task Completion, Internet Usage, Expostfacto

Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of increasing student problem solving abilities and learning tools in the form of an authentic assessment book (BUPENA) through the community technology science approach (STM), at SD Muhammadiyah 08 Medan, Class 4E, 2020-2021. The data collection tools in this study were validation sheets, problem-solving ability tests, and teacher and student response questionnaires developed through the Community Technology Science Approach (STM) with a modified 3-D model. The population in this study were all Class IV SD SD Muhammadiyah 08 Medan TA 2020-2021, the sample of this study was class IV-E, totaling 30 people. The Science and Technology Community (STM) approach using BUPENA developed in class IV-E SD Muhammadiyah 08 Medan has increased, which can be seen from: 19 students who completed the initial problem solving ability test were 19 people with an average score of 68.67 and increasing to 28 people with an average score of 87.83 on the final problem solving ability test. Then the completeness of classical learning for the initial problem solving ability test, there were 63.33% of students who did not complete and it increased to 93.33% of students who completed the final problem solving ability test.Keywords: BUPENA Development, STM Approach, IPA

Abstract

This study aims to improve science learning by using BUPENA which has been developed in the Experimental Theme of Plants and Their Functions. The subjects in this study were students of SD NEGERI 068007 Medan Tuntungan TP.2020-2021, with the object of improving the lesson plans and the use of Bupena. This research uses Classroom Action Research with 2 cycles of improvement. The results showed that there was an improvement in learning, this can be seen from the suitability of the lesson plans that were prepared with the aim and the increase in the score on the teaching simulation video observation instrument in cycle 1 learning obtained a score of 90, after conducting learning simulations and conducting experiments the score increased by 96. The results of the study obtained that the N-Gain score of Learning Improvement in cycle 1 was 90 and 96 in cycle 2. Thus it can be concluded that there was an improvement in science learning using Bupena in the experimental theme Part of plants and their functions in Class IV SD 068007 Medan Tuntungan TP.2020 -2021.Keywords: Right, Bupena, Temptation
