Abstract

Many school students still need attention regarding physical activity, either when participating in learning PJOK or other physical activities, a decrease in the level of physical activity of students is observed. This research is descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study was 40 people. The sample in this research was 40 people. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the results of the study are visible. The conclusion of this study shows that the rate of use of gadgets in the frequent category is 70.00% and vice versa, the level of physical in the category is well dominated by the fitness of children. this shows that if the use of Gadgets is more controlled and redirected to physical activities that children like, this will further improve children's physical fitness in performing various activities. Gadgets can be addictive in children, so parents and teachers should focus on providing control over children so that the use of gadgets/smartphones can be reduced so as not to affect the child's social activities, including sports. although in this case, aids are not the main factor hindering children in sports activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine students’ interest in learning physical education in shooting soccer material through games. This research was conducted on fifth grade students at SD Negeri 162 Palembang. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, documentation studies, interviews, and tests. Data analysis techniques were carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on the results of the development it can be concluded: (1) it can be reversion corner teachers; (2) learning has several types of games shooting; (3) this learning will increase children’s interest in taking corner lessons; (4) contribution to the science of education, especially in the field of sports; and (5) make learning more creative and interesting.

Abstract

Football is one of the most popular game sports around the world, the development of football is so rapid throughout the world, a soccer player must master the technique of playing soccer. One technique of playing soccer is throw in is a way of restarting the game after the ball out, that is, the ball leaves the field of play over the side line. Form of training Medicine Ball Throw is a form of exercise that aims to improve throw-in results. Based on observations made by researchers and information obtained from Physical Education teachers at SMA Negeri 4 Palembang, they complained that there were still many student mistakes in carrying out the movements throw in. One way to overcome this is to improve the throw-in motion. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was a significant effect of medicine ball training on results throw in a soccer game for class X students of SMA Negeri 4 Palembang in the 2012-2013 academic year. The method used in this research is the category experimental method pre-test and post-test, namely by conducting pre-test and post-test with a population of 277 students. From this population, the sample taken was 30 male students who took part in extracurricular activities. The sample was divided into two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group with 15 students in each group. The data collection technique used in this research is the test technique throw in, the data obtained from the tests, were analysed using t-test statistics. From the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing obtained tcount by 12 while ttable using a significant level of α 0.05 and obtained ttable 1.70 until tcount> ttable or 12 > 1.70. So, the percentage of research success is 12%. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of medicine ball training on results throw in in a soccer game for class X students of SMA Negeri 4 Palembang in the 2012-2013 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the anxiety factor in doing floor exercise (front roll) for fifth grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 18 Palembang. The focus of this study was to evaluate the student’s anxiety factor in doing the front roll floor gymnastics who still experience a lot of doubts, or excessive anxiety in doing the front roll movement. This study uses the CIPP model which includes three indicators as follows: context, input, process, product. The interviews included fifth grade students at Muhammadiyah Elementary School and two sports teachers. Direct observation of the school and the infrastructure used by these students. This research was the cause of failure due to students’ anxiety in doing the floor gymnastics practice and there were also those who did not want to participate at all. So that it results in a student learning system that is not as expected. The results of context research are 59% input 40% process 40% product 48%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the public's interest in recreational sports in Empat Lawang Regency. Serapungan tourism sport is one of the unique local recreational and tourism activities in the area. However, the scientific literature that discusses public interest in floating tourism is still limited. Therefore, this study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research methods to describe the actual situation. Data was collected through document review, such as records of the number of participants taking part in Serapungan tourism sports activities from 2019 to 2023 sourced from the records of the Empat Lawang Regency Tourism Office. This study identified three types of floats in the sport of floats, namely fast floats, ornamental floats, and casual floats. Fast absorption involves participants swimming by floating on two bamboos with the aim of reaching the finish line as soon as possible. Decorative floats involve boats decorated with various shapes and boarded by several people. Relaxing drift involves a sightseeing trip using the inner tube of the car as a boat and following the river flow to the finish point. This research concludes that the local people are interested in sport tourism in Empat Lawang Regency. However, public interest in free sports still needs further research. With a deeper understanding of people's interest in mass sports, this research can provide a basis for local governments, sports institutions and local communities to formulate effective development strategies. In addition, this research also contributes to the understanding of how traditional sports can remain relevant and attractive amidst the developing trends of modern sports.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is (1) to determine the time period for implementing a physical fitness training program to improve the VO2Max of Automotive Department students, (2) to identify the fitness training program given to Automotive Department students to improve their VO2Max, (3) to understand the process of implementing physical fitness training programs that can increase the VO2Max of Automotive Department students, and (4) to determine whether there is an improvement in the VO2Max results of Automotive Department students after being given a physical fitness training program created by the Physical Education teacher. This research uses a qualitative descriptive design. The research is conducted in three vocational schools in the Empat Lawang regency, namely SMK N 1 Empat Lawang located in the Tebing Tinggi district, SMK N 2 Empat Lawang located in the Pendopo district, and SMK N 3 Empat Lawang located in the Paiker district. Data collection procedures include direct interviews with the Physical Education teacher, direct observations of SMK N 1 Empat Lawang, SMK N 2 Empat Lawang, and SMK N 3 Empat Lawang, and documentation to obtain relevant data. The survey findings and results obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation to obtain data can be summarized as follows: The fitness training program created by the Physical Education teachers for a semester or six months, involves running activities in all three vocational schools, while SMKN 1 Empat Lawang also includes push-ups and sit-ups activities. The fitness training program is conducted once a week during the Physical Education class. The results show that after the implementation of the fitness training program, there is an improvement in the VO2Max of Automotive Department students.

Abstract

Learning basketball games is a team game that exists in physical education subjects, basketball games have many basic techniques that students must master. Game variations are a form of various kinds of basketball learning that is fun in various forms of games. The learning process does not all go well, one of the problems that occur during the learning process is either caused by inappropriate learning methods or approaches. The purpose of this study was to determine students' perceptions of game variations on basketball learning outcomes. The population in this study was grade VII students of State Junior High School 1 Lubuklinggau with a sample of 38 students used. Data collection in this study used questionnaires shared through Google forms. Based on the results of the analysis data, it is said that students' perceptions of game variations get a good response, students are happier and more motivated to follow learning if given many game variations. With the perception of (1) Student Interest obtained a score of 81.05% with a very good category, (2) Student Sincerity in basketball learning obtained a score of 83.82% with a very good category, (3) Student needs developed a variety of basketball learning obtained a score of 95.25% with a very good category. Of the total students, they said that they were happy because they were given a variety of games so that the material provided was easy to understand.

Abstract

Gobak sodor game is performed with the aim of increasing the agility of the players in the basketball game. This type of research is quantitative research that uses the “pre-experimental design” research method, namely (one-group pretest-posttest design). The population in this study was 40 people. The sample in this study is a total of 40 people. Based on the results of the research, it can be seen that this traditional game, in addition to being fun and motivating students in training, has other advantages, namely, it enables students to exercise. Therefore, students’ agility becomes more enhanced in driving and defending than before physical training with this game. The results of the hypothesis test show that the calculated t value is greater than the table t (9.102 > 2.021). Thus, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted which reads there is a significant effect of traditional gobak sodor game on dribbling agility in basketball games for extracurricular students at SD Negeri 72 OKU.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of traditional games on the physical condition of elementary school children. Because of the lack of enthusiasm to move, the child looks unenthusiastic. This of course weakens the condition of students. It also weakens children's mobility and physical condition, and they get sick easily. The purpose of this study: The effect of traditional games on improving student fitness at SDN 02 Riang Bandung. One type of research is library research or often called library research. The nature of the descriptive analysis of this research is so that readers can understand it well. The data used in this study is additional data obtained from the results of research conducted by previous researchers. The data collection method used in this study is the method of recording or documentation. The data analysis used in this article is annotated bibliography analysis. Based on the literature review, it can be stated that the application of traditional games can be a solution to improve the physical fitness of elementary school children. Supporting factors are good student motivation, the role of parents and the environment, and sufficient opportunities to play.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students’ perceptions of short-distance running learning models through traditional games based on (1) Perceptions of knowledge of learning short-distance running, (2) Perceptions of teachers’ teaching styles, (3) Perceptions of the media used, (4) Perceptions of interest in learning short-distance running, (5) Perceptions of the need to develop short-distance running learning models through traditional games. This research is descriptive quantitative research. The results of this study showed that (1) Perception of knowledge of learning to run short distances obtained a score of 93.50% in the very good category, (2) Perception of teacher teaching style obtained a score of 78.50% in the good category, (3) Perception of the media used was easy to use obtained a score of 88% in the very good category, (4) Perception of interest in learning physical education obtained a value of 96.30% in the very good category, (5) The perception of the need to develop a learning model of basic volleyball techniques through a playing approach obtained a score of 100% in the very good category, which means that students agree if the development of a learning model of short-distance running through traditional games is developed. The results of this study show that students’ perceptions of the development of short-distance running learning models through traditional games in elementary schools in North Musi Rawas Regency are positive, for that it is necessary to develop short-distance running learning models through traditional games.
