Abstract

The aims of this research are: I) to identzJL the changes ofphysiologic characteristics of cashew apples during storage under MAP system; 2) to verzfv the changes of their quality during storage; and 3) to establish the optimum gaseous compotition range in the MAS system. To completed the research, the experimen was conducted by four steps activities as follows: I) the measurement of respiration rate; 2) establishment of the range of modijied atmosphere storage for cashew uppels; 3) cojitputingthe packaging area and selecting the kind of plastic film; 4) prediction of shelf lge for cashew appels during srorage under MAP system.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the trading margin of tempe processing business a micro-scale in the South Konawe Regency. The Determination of the location of the study was done deliberately (purposive sampling). The sampling method used in this research is the census method technique, in which the sample used in this study is the tempe business Micro A, Micro B, Micro C, Micro D, Micro E, and Mikro F, documents and literature. The analysis used is the trading system margin analysis. The results showed that the comparison of prices in each chain actor, the highest business margin of micro-scale tempe business was tempe F with the trading margin of collector traders by 24%, collectors to market traders 26.47%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (a) copra processing technology, and (b) factors that influence the development of the copra industry. The location of this research was carried out in Konawe Islands Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Research variables include labor wages, raw materials, income, copra production, capital, equipment, and depreciation of copra prices, and copra processing revenue. The results showed that: copra processing includes: (a) picking, (b) transportation, (c) stripping, (d) cleavage, (d) gouging, and (e) drying. Factors that influence the development of the copra industry: Factors that influence the development of the copra industry: (a) labor factor (X1) shows a regression coefficient of -0.138 and a significant value of 0.112> 0.1; (b) the business capital factor (X2) shows the regression coefficient value of 0.017 and a significant value of 0.252> 0.1, and (c) the raw material factor (X3) shows the regression coefficient value of 0.245 and a significant value of 0.000 <0.1.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the post-harvest handling of nutmeg in the Wawonii Timur District, Konawe Kepulaaraan Regency. The population in this study is the management of nutmeg in Wawonii Timur District, Konawe Islands Regency, with the areas of Munse Village, Munse Village, Lebo Village, Tekonea Village, Butuea Village and Wakadawu Village, and Saburano Village. Sampling was done by simple random sampling and the determination of the number of samples was purposive (intentionally) to obtain 25 attempts. Data collection was carried out through secondary data tracing, interviews, and documentation. The data were processed using descriptive and gravimetric analysis. The results of this research on the post-harvest handling of the seasonal nutmeg were 13982 kg with an average of 559.28 kg. The results of the study by using gravimetric analysis determining the water content of 8.21%, other animal dung levels of 0 Mb / lbs, no dead whole insects, no seeds with no pods, and 0.37% foreign matter. About SNI 01-0006-1993, the maximum foreign object is 0% so that it does not comply with SNI standards, while the moisture content, other animal feces, dead whole insects, and shellfish seeds are by SNI standards.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the flow of rice procurement at the Bulog Tembe Public Corporation and analyze the rice stock supply system at Bulog Tembe Public Corporation, North Rarowatu District, Bombana Regency, in ensuring the availability of food logistics in 2021-2025. Determination of the research location is done purposively. The data was collected using observation, interviews, literature, and documentation. The analysis used is forecasting, minimum rice procurement (economic order quantity), safety stock, full inventory, and reorder point. Based on the results of forecasting analysis at Perum Bulog Tembe, North Rarowatu District, for planning and controlling rice supplies in 2021-2025. The minimum quantity of rice procurement (Economic Order Quantity) at Perum Bulog Tembe in 2021 is 33.70 tons; in 2022, it is 36.93 tons; in 2023, it is 39.87 tons; in 2024, it is 43.04 tons; and in 2025, 45.95 Tons. Total Safety Stock at Perum Bulog Tembe in 2021 is 936 tons; in 2022, it is 1,071 tons; in 2023, it is 1,206 tons; in 2024, it is 1,341. In 2025, it is 1,476 tons. The Maximum Inventory at Perum Bulog Tembe in 2021 is 969.70 tons; in 2022, it is 1,107.93 tons; in 2023, it is 1,245.87 tons; in 2024, it is 1,384.04 tons; and in 2025, it is 1,521 .95 Tons. The number of reorder points at Perum Bulog Tembe in 2021 is 1,090 tons; in 2022, it is 1,247 tons; in 2023, it is 1,404 tons; in 2024, it is 1,561 tons; in 2025, it is 1,719 tons.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1). know the profile of the palm sugar industry in Napano Kosambi District, West Muna Regency. (2) know the identification of the production and marketing process of palm sugar in Napano Kosambi District, West Muna Regency. The data processed using qualitative data to identify the production process and marketing of palm sugar in small and medium enterprises (UKM) as many as 4 businesses. Data collection using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The channel pattern of palm sugar marketing uses a simple random sampling method. The results of this study indicate that the palm sugar processing business, the variable value of the palm sugar raw material is the total amount of business 1, II, III, and IV: 181 liters; 191 liters; 175 liters; 184 liters. The selling price of palm sugar ranges from Rp. 8,000-11,000, of which business I usually sell its products for Rp. 8,000, business II sells its products for Rp. 10,000, business III sells its products at Rp. 9,000 and business IV sells its production price at Rp. 11,000. With the total yield of palm sugar production from businesses I, II, III, and IV in West Muna District, Napano Kusambi District, around 141 seeds/month. Meanwhile, the total profit yields from the highest to the lowest, namely business IV, the highest is around Rp. 925,270 / month followed by business II amounting to Rp. 839,373 / month, followed by business I of Rp. 491,905 / month and the lowest is business III of Rp. 442,500 / month.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the strategy for developing peanut processing in Lagadi Village, Lawa District, West Muna Regency. The population in this study were all peanut businesses in Lagadi Village, Lawa District, West Muna Regency, in 2020. Sampling was carried out by "proportional random sampling," i.e., random sampling by considering and paying attention to the proportion of each type from the selection of selected subjects. Done in a balanced way. The sample in this study was three peanut businesses from 9 respondents. The data analysis used is SWOT analysis by first identifying the peanut business's strategic factors (strengths-weaknesses-opportunities-threats). The results in this study are the development strategy of peanut management in Lagadi Village, Lawa District, West Muna Regency, namely, (1) farmers optimize land use with experienced workers. (2) the need for the role of extension workers in developing peanut management businesses. (3) the need for the role of the government and the owners of capital in procuring superior seeds. and (4) farmers carry out pest control with pesticides by utilizing capital from the owner of the capital.

Abstract

This study aims to study the process of sago processing at the Meambo Food Sago Business in the Mata Village, Kendari District, Kendari City, to determine the product development process using the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method on sago processing at the Meambo Food Sago Business in the Mata Village, Kendari District, Kendari City. ". Data was collected using questionnaire, interview, documentation and observation methods. The results showed that the process of processing sago products from sago Meambo food The processing of Sagoku Meambo Food products begins with the post-harvest stage of sago fruit carried out by sago farmers who have collaborated with Meambo Food Sago Enterprises, then the next stage is the processing of sago into flour carried out by labor. The sago processing process is by washing sago, soaking sago, roasting sago using an oven, sifting sago using a sieve to produce sago flour, then using sago flour to make sago products. The needs of consumers in a row include: having a halal label (8.93%), including an expiration date (8.87%), including information on the type of taste (8.18%), sweetness (7.93%), new topping/stuffing variants (7.75%) ), more toppings/filling (7.75%), easy to get chocolate products (7.39%), no bitter taste (7.33%), unchanged taste (7.28%), soft texture (7.28%) , Has information on nutritional value in one package (7.28%) and packaging color according to product (6.57%).

Abstract

AThe purpose of this study was to analyze the competitiveness of the coconut processing business and the factors that determine the competitiveness of the coconut oil processing business in the Wawonii sub-district, Konawe archipelago district. This research uses descriptive and qualitative data analysis methods with research variables, namely: (1) the profile of the coconut oil business, including the capital, labor, duration of business, raw materials, income, facilities, and infrastructure; (2) the state of the coconut oil business which includes: processing, production, and marketing technology; and (3) internal and external factors which are external factors originating from outside the person or company which include opportunities and threats, while internal factors are those originating from within the person or company which include weaknesses and strengths. Data collection techniques in this study are by means of interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, and this research's primary and secondary data sources. The stages of this research are the number of raw materials, capital, income, revenue, ratio, and productivity of the coconut oil processing business. The results of this test produce an average income of Rp. 2,796. 223 with an average capital of Rp. 3,746,278 and average business productivity of Rp. 1.90 per bottle and an average ratio of 1.7. with the results obtained from the coconut oil processing business in the West Wawonii District, Konawe Islands Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of ability and motivation on the performance of the savings and loan fund management unit for women. The study was conducted in Muna Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province with a sample of 51 administrators of a savings and loan fund management unit for women in the Rural Independent Community Empowerment Program. Determination of sample using census method. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). The results of the study showed that the score of the administrator’s capacity of the savings and loan fund management unit for women was 65 percent, while the motivation score was 75 percent, and the performance score was 82 percent. The results of SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis show that the performance of the management unit of the savings and loan fund for women is influenced by ability with a coefficient value of 0.49 formed by education and knowledge with a coefficient of 0.75 and skills of 0.89. Motivation affects performance with a coefficient of 0.46 formed by fisilogis with a coefficient of 0.52, security of 0.66, possession and ownership of 0.67, appreciation of 0.58, self-actualization needs of 0.53.Keywords: abilities, motivations, performance, woman
