Abstract

This study aims to produced eMMI based on multiple intelligence (eMMI) with 3D pageflip pro for biology student’s in IKIP Budi Utomo Malang, in the circulatory system material that is suitable for used in the learning process. This research was developed with a 4-D model consisting of definitions, planning, development and dissemination. Data collection using a questionnaire. This eMMI have been validated by material experts and media experts.The evaluation results from material validation, is known that above 90%, while the results of media validation are above 96%. Small scale test results indicate the validity results above 90%. From the results of the validation of media experts and material experts, it is stated that the e-eMMIe is suitable for use and based on the questionnaire, it can be said that students and teachers are expected to really take advantage of teaching materials in order to create interesting and fun learning in physics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain initial data on the need to develop interactive media-based e-modules at the junior high school level, because of the need for a medium during the COVID-19 pandemic which has had a major impact on almost all sectors, including education which requires educators to be creative in developing learning resources, especially online learning resources. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative by using several samples from all students of SMP/MTs in Malang, while the sample used includes 30 students of class IX in MTs. Al Itihad Poncokusumo, 30 Class IX students at SMPN 2 Tumpang, 15 students at SMP PGRI Tumpang Class IX and 15 Class IX students at SMPN 1 Jabung. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, distributing questionnaires and interviews. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of the needs analysis test showed that 93.57% of students stated that they felt they needed interesting learning media and could make it easier to understand the material with a score and 93.67% of students agreed that there was an e-module to facilitate learning. Meanwhile, all teachers agreed on the need to develop e-books, e-modules and other types of electronic teaching materials, so that online-based teaching materials are needed to support the learning process in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. There is a need for the development of interactive media-based e-modules as a learning solution in the pandemic era. The results of this needs analysis test can be used as basic data for the development of interactive media-based e-modules.

Abstract

The purpose of this article was to discusses the application of lecture collaboration as an effort to improve the pedagogical competence of lecturers and teaching practitioners in the Professional Ethics course in the Biology Education Study Program. The research method used is classroom action research, which involves a cycle of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting in order to improve teaching practices. This research was conducted in the context of the Biology Education Study Program, involving lecturers and teaching practitioners as research subjects. The classroom action research cycle consists of the stages of planning lecture collaboration, implementing lecture collaboration, observing the process and results of collaboration, and reflection to formulate subsequent improvements. The results showed that the application of lecture collaboration was effective in improving the pedagogic competence of lecturers and teaching practitioners. Collaboration allows them to share experiences, knowledge, and effective teaching strategies. In the context of Professional Ethics courses, lecture collaboration also increases student involvement and motivation in learning. These findings support the study's hypothesis and are also in line with the related literature on the benefits of collaboration in education. The implication of this research is the importance of implementing lecture collaboration as an effective teaching strategy in improving the pedagogical competence of lecturers and teaching practitioners, especially in the Professional Ethics course in the Biology Education Study Program
