Abstract

The objectives of the research are (1) to find out the implementation of Batik Wair spring conservation in Lela sub-district, Sikka Regency (2) to find out the impact of Batik Wair spring conservation to the community in Lela Village, Lela District, Sikka Regency (3) to find out the impact of Batik Wair spring conservation Wair to the Batik Wair spring environment. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method with data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation.The results showed that the implementation of the Batik Wair Spring Conservation in Lela village, Lela sub-district carried out by the village government, the community and the PDAM in the Lela area. Conservation implementation activities carried out by carrying out conservation activities for the spring area, making spring cover buildings, saving water use and local cultural traditions. The implementation of conservation Batik Wair springs provides benefits for the community, namely the community feels the freshness that coming from the spring forest, because the forest is not cut down randomly, the community has the belief the spring will continue to exist for the next generation. The implementation of the conservation of Batik Wair springs has an impact on the environment, namely the implementation of terracing carried out during the King's era where the springs reappeared, to prevent flood and erosion from occurring, as a storage medium for water reserves and the implementation of this conservation can ensure the availability of water.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to find out whether there is an effect of the project-based learning model on the learning outcomes of Geography students at SMAK Sint Carolus Kupang. This type of quasi-experimental research with nonequivalent control group research design. The population of this study was all students of class XI IPS. Which consists of 2 classes total 36 students. The class XI IPS 1 student with a total of 18 people as the experimental class and students in class XI IPS 2 with a total of 18 people as the control class. The sampling technique used a saturate sampling technique. Data taken by test and documentation techniques. Data analyzed by simple linear regression. Previously the data were tested for normality, homogeneity test, and linearity test. The results showed that (1) there was an influence in the application of the project-based learning model on student learning outcomes with the results of simple linear regression analysis obtaining a significant value on the model item of 0.000 <0.05. (2) Student learning outcomes have increased with the application of project-based learning models. (3) This is evidenced by the difference in the average learning outcomes of students who achieve KKM in learning with project-based learning which is 94.4% higher than the percentage of students who achieve KKM in learning with conventional models which only reaches 66.6 %.

Abstract

One of the tourism in Bijeli Village is the Oeluan Forest tourist area. The objectives of this study to: (1) describe the physical condition of the ecotourism development of the Oeluan Forest in the research area, (2) describe the impact of ecotourism development on the environment of the Oeluan Protected Forest in the research area, ; (3) describe the government's way of dealing with the degradation of the Oeluan Forest. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative with 20 informants, selected by purposive sampling. Sources of data in the form of primary data and secondary data. Data collection methods: interviews, observations, documentation studies. Qualitative descriptive data analysis. The results of the study are as follows: (1) the development of tourism in the Oeluan Forest Area in Bijeli Village continues to increase the tourism facilities and infrastructure such as villa accommodation and other supporting facilities and infrastructure. However, with this development there are several buildings that are not considered. (2) tourism development has an impact on the environment both on the community environment and the environment of the Oeluan Forest. The impact are lack of availability of clean water and damage to vegetation due to illegal logging and neglected development which can damage the Oeluan Forest and also scattered garbage. (3) the government needs to overcome forest degradation by reforestation and prohibiting people from carrying out forest degradation and cooperate with the Bijeli community to carry out mutual cooperation.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the development of digital learning media with the Canva application in geography subjects to improve class X learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 5 Kupang. (2) determine the feasibility level of learning media with the Canva application for geography subjects to improve class X learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 5 Kupang. (3) determine the effectiveness of digital learning media innovation with the Canva application in geography subjects to improve class X learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 5 Kupang. Creative and active digital learning media is Canva using the ADDIE Model Research and Development (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) method. The feasibility level of media using Canva is seen from the assessment of two validators, namely media experts and material experts. Based on the results of the assessment of the two validators obtained an average score of 86% with a very good or valid category, it means that the learning media using the Canva application is feasible/valid to be used in learning and student responses obtained an average score of 85% with the category is very suitable for use in learning. After that, a trial was carried out on students of SMAN 5 Kupang to see the effectiveness of the learning media using the Canva application, there was an increase in student learning outcomes. The results before using the media (pre test) and after using the media (post test) obtained the difference/comparison value of 64 and 78. Based on the results of the comparison of the two that using the N-Gain formula, the value was 0.38 with a good/enough category. effective, meaning that learning media using the Canva application on the dynamics of the planet earth as a living space can effectively improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The research objectives here are; to determine the development of adobe flash CS6-based learning media and to find out student learning outcomes after using adobe flash CS6-based learning media. This type of research is development research (R&D), the stages of R&D research include potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revisions, product trials, product revisions, usage trials. The variables of this study: the level of feasibility, student responses to learning media and student learning outcomes. Collection techniques include observation, questionnaires, documentation and tests. The results of the adobe flash CS6-based learning media research in the form of an interactive CD developed through the R&D research stages. Validation by experts Shows that interactive CDs are feasible to use in learning with an average score of 93% and material expert validation states that it is feasible with a feasibility percentage of 79%. The results of student responses as media users rate very feasible with a percentage of 89%. Cognitive learning outcomes of students at SMA Negeri 1 Rote Barat Laut increased, before using the media the average test score was 62.35 and after using adobe flash CS6-based learning media it became 89% The conclusion of this study was adobe flash CS6-based learning media in CD form. interactive is declared feasible and can improve student learning outcomes. This means that student learning outcomes on the hydrosphere subject matter increased after using adobe flash CS6-based learning media.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the changes in the curriculum at SMA Negeri 5 Kupang geography teaching module X (2) determine the development of the lithospheric dynamics teaching module and the impact on life in SMA Negeri 5 Kupang. The method used in this research is research and development (Research and Development). The curriculum have changed a lot at SMA Negeri 5 Kupang Since the school was founded in 1991, the 1994 curriculum, 1997 curriculum, Competency-Based Curriculum (2004-2013), Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP) 2006, Curriculum (2013) and Currently the “Sekolah Penggerak”at SMA 5 Negeri Kupang In each new teaching, the module changes according to the conditions of the students, but not only revision and development of teaching modules. The assessment of the results of the module development in this study was determined by two criteria, namely validity and practicality. Based on the assessment of the material expert, the average result was 80% with the appropriate criteria. The media expert assessment obtained an average result of 77% with the appropriate criteria. Thus the modules that have been developed in terms of materials and mediaare classified or can be said to be feasible modules to use. Based on the questionnaire the teacher's responses are an average of 88% with very feasible criteria and student responses, an average of 87% is obtained with very feasible criteria.

Abstract

The problem of this research is how the availability of clean water to fulfill household needs in Lakat Village and whether the number of population affects the need for clean water in Lakat village. The aim is to find out the availability of clean water to meet household needs in Lakat village and the number people who influence the need for clean water in Lakat village. This research method is quantitative descriptive, with a sample of 37 families, data collection techniques namely observation, quistionnaires and documentation studies. The data used in this study is the variabel availability of clean water to fulfill houshold needs and the projected population for the next 5 years. The research was conducted in the village of lakat, sub-distric of kuatnana, south central timor regency, the village lacks clean water with the result showing the based on the result of the variabel availaibility of clean water for meeting household needs, namely the higher the population , the higher the demand for red water is increasing, namely by using prectange with criteria |>50% qualified with the number of item 17 , while < 50% with the number of item 5 did not meet requirements for population projections for the next 5 years as much 2.374 poeple with clean water needs of 1,23 liter second . Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that in this study the more the population increases, the more the water needs will also increases.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil pengembangan dan tingkat validitas Elektronik Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (E-LKPD) berbasis liveworksheet pada materi Prakarya dan kewirausahaan pada sub pokok wirausaha pengolahan makanan khas daerah yang dimodifikasi untuk peserta didik kelas XII SMA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian pengembangan ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation). Penelitian ini hanya dibatasi pada tahap Development. Pada tahap validasi, E-LKPD ini divalidasi dengan 2 validator yaitu validator ahli materi yang dinilai oleh 1 dosen dan 1 guru yang mengajari materi wirausaha dan validator ahli media yang dinilai oleh 2 orang dosen yang berkompeten pada media elektronik, sedangkan dalam uji respon produk E-LKPD dilakukan penilaian oleh 36 mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi, FKIP Universitas Nusa Cendana. Hasil pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa E-LKPD berbasis liveworksheet yang disajikan masuk kategori layak digunakan dengan kategori sangat baik dengan presentase 94,62% untuk materi dan 95% untuk media. Hasil uji respon pada peserta didik juga menunjukkan kriteria sangat baik dengan presentase 98,46%. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian para ahli dan uji respon peserta didik pada E-LKPD berbasis liveworksheet ini layak digunakan pada peserta didik kelas XII SMA

Abstract

Landslides on the Ende - Wolowaru road, Ende Regency often occur every year, especially in the rainy season. Therefore, research was carried out to determine the level of vulnerability to landslides on the Ende - Wolowaru road section, Ende Regency, using an estimation model referring to Puslittanak research in 2004. Mapping of landslide-prone areas was carried out at a radius of 250 meters along the Ende - Wolowaru road section, Ende Regency with area 2,514 ha. The analysis used GIS analysis, such as: scoring and overlay methods based on 2004 Puslittanak Department of Agriculture estimation model. The parameters used are rainfall, rock type, slope, land cover and soil type. The results of the analysis in this study show that the level of vulnerability to landslides at the research location consists of a non-prone class covering an area of 13.38 ha, a vulnerable class covering an area of 1,620.38 ha and a very vulnerable class covering an area of 880.65 ha and (2) the level of validation mapping results that is equal to 88%.
