Abstract

The problem of this research was carried out the Covid-19 pandemic which made the learning process at SMP Negeri 2 Meral no longer apply face-to-face learning and conduct learning from home or online learning, made the practice of physical education is not effective and efficiently. This study aims to analyze the learning process at SMP Negeri 2 Meral, Karimun Regency during the pandemic Covid-19. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that 1) During the pandemic Covid-19, schools made the decision that the learning process was carried out at home (online learning) because to break the chain of Covid-19 and to implementation this teachers were provided with training to make teachers easier doing online learning in physical education. 2) The physical education learning process during the pandemic using the application WhatsApp both the theoretical and practical assignments according to teacher directions. 3) The assessment process is carried out directly and the teacher directly provides input related the theoretical and practical assignments, in the assessment process using the application Office 365. 4) In the online learning process there are still some problems like lack of IT knowledge (Information Technology Science), and some of the students do not have android phones, its make the learning process not effective and efficient 5) To support the learning process, the school has prepared some facilities like wifi and free quota for teachers and students to make online learning easier.
