Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan petunjuk praktikum berbasis video tracking yang valid, praktis, dan efektif, serta mampu meningkatkan minat mahasiswa pada materi gaya gesek di bidang miring. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengacu pada model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop dan Disseminate). Secara umum petunjuk praktikum yang dikembangkan meliputi dua topik kegiatan yakni penentuan koefisien gesek statis dengan memanipulasi kemiringan bidang serta koefisien gesek kinetis dengan menganalisis gerak benda di bidang miring. Petunjuk praktikum dalam rancangan menggunakan model praktikum/percobaan tertutup. Hasil validasi ahli yang mencakup aspek kelayakan isi, penyajian, komponen kebahasaan, dan keterlaksanaan menunjukkan petunjuk praktikum hasil pengembangan dinilai valid dengan perolehan skor rata-rata 4,03 dan layak digunakan. Hasil uji kepraktisan yang terdiri dari komponen kemenarikan, kemudahan penggunaan, dan manfaat petunjuk praktikum yang dikembangkan juga dinilai praktis dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata 3,93. Hasil uji efektifitas terhadap petunjuk praktikum menunjukkan bahwa produk pengembangan ini dinilai efektif untuk meningkatkan minat mahasiswa (kategori tinggi). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk petunjuk praktikum berbasis video tracking ini valid, praktis, efektif untuk digunakan sebagai penuntun praktikum serta mampu meningkatkan minat mahasiswa. Kata kunci: Petunjuk praktikum; video tracking; minat mahasiswa. ABSTRACTThis study is conducted to produce practical video tracking-based instructions that are valid, effective, and can increase student interest in the frictional force material on an inclined plane. The method used in this study was Research and Development (R&D) concerning the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). In general, the developed practicum instructions had covered two topics of activity, namely the determination of the coefficient of static friction by manipulating the slope of the plane and the coefficient of kinetic friction by analyzing the motion of objects on an inclined plane. Practical instructions in the design adopted a closed practicum/experimental model. The results of expert validation which include aspects of the feasibility of content, presentation, linguistic components, and implementation indicated that the practicum instructions developed were estimated valid with an average score of 4.03 and were suitable for use. On the other hand, the results of the practicality test consisting of components of attractiveness, ease of use, and the benefits of the developed practicum instructions were also considered practical with an average score of 3.93. Moreover, the results of the effectiveness test on the practicum instructions showed that this development product was considered effective for increasing student interest (high category). Thus, it can be concluded that this video tracking-based practicum guide product is valid, practical, effective to be used as a practicum guide, and is able to increase student interest. Keywords: Practical Instructions; video tracking; student interest.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prinsip dasar dan sistem kerja pembangkit listrik tenaga mikrohidro (PLTMH) dari sudut pandang fisika sebagai upaya penyediaan dan pengembangan sumber belajar kontekstual. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan menggunakan metode studi literatur, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasilnya ditemukan bahwa PLTMH memiliki tiga komponen utama yakni air sebagai sumber energi, turbin, dan generator. Skema konversi energi pada PLTMH yang menggunakan head adalah sebagai berikut: 1) energi potensial air dari reservoir diubah menjadi energi kinetik pada pipa pesat, 2) energi kinetik air diubah menjadi energi mekanik oleh turbin air, 3) energi mekanik diubah menjadi energi listrik oleh generator. Turbin air berdasarkan prinsip kerja dibagi atas turbin impuls dan turbin reaksi. Turbin impuls memanfaatkan perubahan momentum air sebelum dan setelah menabrak sudu turbin, sedangkan turbin reaksi memanfaatkan perbedaan tekanan pada permukaan sudu. Generator bekerja berdasarkan prinsip induksi elektromagnetik. Ketika rotor generator yang terkopel pada turbin berputar, kumparan konduktor akan memotong garis medan magnet sehingga timbul tegangan induksi. Kata kunci: pembangkit listrik tenaga mikrohidro; konversi energi; turbin, generator. ABSTRACTThe research aims to determine the fundamental principles and working systems of Microhydro power plants from a physical standpoint as an effort to provide and develop contextual learning resources. This study was conducted using literature, observation and interview methods. The results found that PLTMH had three main components i.e. water as energy source, turbine, and generator. The energy conversion scheme on PLTMH that uses the head is as follows: 1) The potential energy of water from the reservoir is converted into kinetic energy on the rapid pipeline, 2) water kinetic energy converted into mechanical energy by water turbine, 3) changed mechanical energy into electrical energy by generators. The water turbine based on the working principle is divided into impulse turbines and reaction turbines. The impulse turbine utilizes a change in water momentum before and after crashing the turbine's sudu, while the reaction turbine utilizes pressure differences on the surface of the Sudu. The generators work based on electromagnetic induction principles. When the rotor generator is attached to the turbine spinning, the conductor coil will cut off the magnetic field line so that the induction voltage arises. Keywords: microhydro power plant; energy conversion; turbine; generator.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kevalidan perangkat pembelajaran fisika model OrDeP2E pada materi gelombang bunyi untuk melatihkan kemampuan literasi Sains siswa MAS Al-Mutaqin Wolowaru. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinilai oleh dua orang. Data validasi diperoleh menggunakan penilaian perangkat dengan kategori 1-4. Penelitian ini mengacu pada pengembangan model 4-D. Perangkat yang divalidasi yaitu a) RPP, b) BAS, c) LKS, dan d) Tes Kemampuan Literasi Sains. Hasil analisis data yang sudah divalidasi menunjukkan bahwa a) RPP mendapatkan skor 3,34 (valid), a) BAS mendapatkan skor 3,52 (valid), c) LKS mendapatkan skor 3,47 (valid), d) tes kemampuan literasi sains mendapatkan skor 3,70 (sangat valid). Hasil analisis perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa MAS Al-Mutaqin Wolowaru. Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran OrDeP2E; Validitas Perangkat Pembelajaran Fisika. ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze the validity of the OrDeP2E model of physics learning on sound wave material to train the science literacy skills of MAS Al-Mutaqin Wolowaru students. The learning tools developed were assessed by two people. Validation data were obtained using device ratings with categories 1-4. This study refers to the development of a 4-D model. The validated tools are a) lesson plans, b) BAS, c) worksheets, and d) Science Literacy Ability Test. The results of data analysis that have been validated show that a) RPP scores 3.34 (valid), a) BAS scores 3.52 (valid), c) LKS scores 3.47 (valid), d) tests of scientific literacy skills get a score of 3.70 (very valid). The results of the analysis of the learning tools developed are suitable to be used to improve the scientific literacy skills of MAS Al-Mutaqin Wolowaru students. Keywords: OrDeP2E Learning Model; The Validity of Physics Learning Devices.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSDI Bhoanawa 1 adalah mitra dalam Program Kemitraan Masyarakat yang merupakan sekolah dasar yang berdiri pada tahun 1980. Sekolah ini terletak di tengah-tengah pemukiman warga Bhoanawa Kelurahan Rukun Lima Kabupaten Ende. Masalah sampah tidak lepas dari kehidupan manusia, dimana ada manusia selalu saja ada sampah yang dihasilkan. Sampah disekolah adalah sisa-sisa kegiatan sekolah seperti kertas, plastik bekas, kemasan makanan ringan dan sisa lainnya yang tidak terpakai lagi yang ditemukan disekitar lingkungan sekolah. Sampah-sampah tersebut juga ditemukan dilingkungan sekolah SDI Bhoanawa 1 maupun dilingkungan perumahan sekitar sekolah. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi tentang permasalahan sampah dan melakukan aksi langsung dilapangan dengan melakukan clean up sampah dan pembentukan Bank sampah dengan lokasi sasaran di SDI Bhoanawa 1. Pada kegiatan pengabdian ini tim pengabdian juga menggandeng komunitas Anak Cinta Lingkungan Kabupaten Ende (ACIL) Ende. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah Metode Sosialisasi, Clean Up, Pembentukan Bank Sampah. Hasil Kegiatan pengabdian ini berjalan dengan baik, hal tersebut terlihat dari antusias siswa SDI Bhoanawa 1 dalam mengikuti rangkaian kegiatan ini. Banyak hal positif yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini dimana siswa-siswi SDI Bhoanwa 1 mendapatkan materi pengelolaan sampah yang baik. Siswa-siswi SDI Bhoanawa 1 mampu memahami sampah, masalah dan solusi, serta dapat mengambil manfaat dari sampah. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari hasil Post Test setelah kegiatan dimana terdapat peningkatan pembamaman siswa akan sampah, masalah dan solusi serta pegelolaan dan pemanfaatannya. Peningkatan tersebut sebesar 80%. Kata kunci: clean up Sampah; edukasi sampah; pembentukan bank sampah. ABSTRACTSDI Bhoanawa 1 is a partner in the Community Partnership Program which is an elementary school that was founded in 1980. This school is located in the middle of the residential area of Bhoanawa residents, Rukun Lima Village, Ende Regency. The problem of waste cannot be separated from human life, where there are humans there will always be waste produced. School waste is the remnants of school activities such as paper, used plastic, snack packaging and other unused remnants found around the school environment. The garbage was also found in the SDI Bhoanawa 1 school environment and in the housing environment around the school. The purpose of this activity is to provide education about waste problems and take direct action in the field by cleaning up waste and establishing a waste bank with a target location at SDI Bhoanawa 1. In this service activity the community service team also cooperates with the Anak Cinta Lingkungan community in Ende Regency (ACIL). Ende. The method used in this activity is the Method of Socialization, Clean Up, Establishment of a Waste Bank. The results of this service activity went well, it was seen from the enthusiasm of SDI Bhoanawa 1 students in participating in this series of activities. Many positive things were obtained from this activity where the students of SDI Bhoanwa 1 received good waste management materials. The students of SDI Bhoanawa 1 are able to understand waste, problems and solutions, and can take advantage of waste. This can be seen from the results of the Post Test after the activity where there is an increase in students' understanding of waste, problems and solutions as well as management and utilization. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil minat belajar IPA dan hasil belajar IPA melalui belajar dari rumah pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Nangapanda pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Jenis penelitian ini adalah ex post facto dengan pendekatannya deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 55 siswa yang diperoleh melalui sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik angket untuk minat belajar dan teknik dokumentasi untuk hasil belajar. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Profil minat belajar IPA melalui belajar dari rumah pada masa pandemi covid-19 tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 adalah 69,1% pada kualifikasi cukup baik dan 30,1 % pada kualifikasi kurang baik; 2) Profil hasil belajar IPA melalui belajar dari rumah pada masa pandemi covid-19 tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 adalah siswa yang berpersentase 47,27 % dengan kualifikasi hasil belajar baik, siswa berpersentase 41,82% dengan kualifikasi hasil belajar cukup baik dan siswa berpersentase 10,91% dengan kualifikasi kurang baik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine learning outcomes and the scientific attitudes of students at physics education study programs using virtual lab. This type of research is quantitative research. It uses descriptive statistical analysis and inferential stattistics to illustrate data learning outcomes and the scientific attitudes of students at physics education study Universitas Flores using the virtual lab. Data collection techniques used in this study were test for learning outcomes and observatory techniques for the scientific attitude. From the results of descriptive analysis for learning outcomes, it shows that the average is 75,05 in the enough category. The results of inferential statistics show t count is 2,770, sig(2-tailed) 0,011. Because the sig(2-tailed) value of 0,011 is smaller than 0,05, thus it can be concluded that use of the virtual lab influences the learning outcomes. For the scientific attitudes it shows that the average is 76,14 in the enough category. The results of inferential statistics show t count is 3,875, sig(2-tailed) 0,001. Dari hasil analisis deskriptif untuk hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa adalah 75,05 dalam kategori cukup, sedangkan hasil statistik inferensial menunjukkan nilai t hitung 2,770, sig(2-tailed) 0,011. Karena nilai sig(2-tailed) 0,011 lebih kecil dari 0,05 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan virtual laboratorium berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar fisika mahasiswa program studi pendidikan fisika Universitas Flores. Untuk sikap ilmiah berdasarkan analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata 76,14 dalam kategori cukup, sedangkan hasil statistik inferensial menunjukkan nilai t hitung 3,875, sig(2-tailed) 0,001. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of the physics learning model of the OrDeP2E model to improve the critical thinking skills of high school students. The learning tool developed was assessed by two validation experts who were folus in the process of construct validity testing and the contents of the developed device. Validation data were obtained assesment sheet using categories 1-4. This study refers to the development of the 4-D model. Validated tools are 1) Syllabus, 2) lesson plan 3) student textbooks, 4) student worksheet, and 5) Critical thinking skills test. The results showed that 1) the syllabus got a score of 3.58 (valid), 2) the RPP got a score of 3.83 (very valid), 3) the BAS got a score of 3.54 (valid), 4) the worksheet received a score of 3.78 ( very valid), critical thinking skills test get a score of 3.70 (very valid). Based on the research results, learning tools are appropriate to be used to improve critical thinking skills of high school students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the understanding of the concept of wave material using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model of coastal area school students. This type of research is quantitative research. It uses descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics to illustrate data understanding of the wave material concept of students in the Coastal Regional Schools (Private Senior High School of Mutmainah Ende) using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model. Data collection techniques used in this study were test techniques. From the results of descriptive analysis, it shows that the average understanding of the concept is 80.75 in the good category. The results of inferential statistics show the t count is 5.885, sig (2-tailed) 0,000. Because the sig (2-tailed) value of 0,000 is smaller than 0.05, thus it can be concluded that the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model influences the understanding of the wave concept in coastal school students.Keywords: concept understanding, waves, contextual teaching and learning Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mengetahui pemahaman konsep materi gelombang menggunakan model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning(CTL) siswa sekolah daerah pesisir pantai. Abstract

The OrDeP2E learning model based on a contextual approach is a science learning activity based on a contextual approach that emphasizes the creative thinking process of junior high school students. The syntax of the OrDeP2E learning model stands for: 1) Problem definition, 2) Problem Orientation, 3) Hypothesis Submission, 4) Hypothesis Testing, and 5) Evaluation. This study aims to obtain the OrDeP2E model of natural science learning tools with a contextual approach that is appropriate for improving the creative thinking of junior high school students. This study refers to the development of the 4-D model. The results showed that the development of natural science learning tools are suitable to be applied in science learning with the following results: the syllabus got a score as many as 3,45 (valid), the implementation plan of learning got a score as many as 3,53 (valid), teaching material got a score as many as 3,50 (valid), student worksheets get a score as many as 3,63 (valid), creative thinking skills test get a score as many as 3,55 (valid).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility level of physics worksheets and to figure out the increase on student’s understanding after using the physics worksheets based on science process skills. This study is a development research employing ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely: analysis, design, development, and implementation. The design of this study was One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The instruments used were validity assessment sheet, feasibility assessment sheet, questionnaire about the students’ response toward the worksheets based on science process skills, and assessment of science process skills. the data were analyzed by using percentage of agreement (R), and N-gain (g). The results showed that the physics students’ worksheet based on science process skills was feasible and could be used in learning as the feasibility level reached 97%. The students’ understanding of fluid material gained through working with the worksheets can improve students’ science process skills both at the basic level and at the integrated level. This is proven by the results of the initial test or pre-test which indicate that the students' science process skills affected the learning outcomes obtained in which 62.25% of students’ scores were in good category and 35.75% of students’ scores were in fair category. Meanwhile, in the final test or post-test of students' science process skills, it was obtained that 74.50% of students’ scores were in very good category and 25.50% of students’ scores were in the fair category. This means that there is an increase by 0.7 % in students' science process skills when using the students’ worksheets.
