Abstract

The idea of mental revolution stems from peoples perceived turmoil in various spheres of life that mental revolution must be done immediately. Given, first, the failure of the New Order regime in carrying out development, which has not touched the paradigm, mindset, or political culture in the framework of nation building. Mentality problem the nation is part of the cultural issues (culture). Therefore, one way to change it must be through cultural ways as well, namely through education. Mental revolution starts from education, considering the role of education is very strategic in shaping the childs mentality of the nation. Development of culture and character of the nation is realized through the realm of education. In other words, the mental revolution must begin in the classroom, that teachers should be at the forefront in realizing these ideals. In this study are revealed various things that include the idea of the beginning of the mental revolution in this country, the mental revolution for educators: the embodiment of indonesian human self, and the character of educators; a mental revolution.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to describe the shape and the social context of utterances used to express speech acts commissive intend, promise, swear, and bernadar in staging dramas Mangir Wanabaya. This study uses a pragmatic approach and sociolinguistics, hereinafter referred sosiopragmatik approach. Problem to be investigated is the use of the form and context in speech acts commissive.The form of this research is descriptive qualitative. The strategy used in this study was content analysis. Collection data techniques is to study the document. Research data collection, namely the context of noting that the use of natural language in order to reveal the intention of utterances commissive appropriately.The research proves that this form of speech acts commissive Mangir Wanabaya drama performances can be said, propositif predicate, and the context of the stated commissive. Pragmatics in the context of the study can be used as guidance for recognizing intent. Obtained commissive speech act is intended commissive speech acts, speech acts commissive promise, swear commissive speech acts, speech acts commissive bernadar.

Abstract

Strengthening Character Education has become a breath of fresh air for the implementation of education. Character has become an obligation to be fostered continuously and needs to be directed until it is actually on track. For this reason, students need guidance and direction regarding the path that must be taken in the present and in a reflective way for the future. With the introduction of character education and its strengthening in learning, students will be patterned and systematized their behavior in a direction that is in accordance with the norm. The end result is to become Indonesian people with noble character and in accordance with the spirit of the National Mental Revolution Movement.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a product of teaching materials in the form of LKPD, namely the Development of LKPD Writing Poetry with a Stylistic Approach. This study uses research and development methods by adapting the Jolly and Bolitho development model. For the feasibility of teaching materials, expert validation and limited field tests were carried out. Validation was carried out on the feasibility of presentation, material, and linguistics of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung. The data in the limited field test were obtained through a written test, namely a multiple choice test and a poetry writing test. Subjects in this field test consisted of 30 students of class X SMA Negeri 16 Bandar Lampung. The test results to identify elements of the form of poetry showed an increase from the average value of 55.00 to 81.50 (difference 26.50). The results of the poetry writing test also showed an increase from the average score of 64.60 to 80.90 (difference 16.30). Thus, the LKPD developed by researchers is suitable for use for class X SMA Negeri 16 Bandar Lampung students.
