Abstract

Abstract Costal area region has potensial economy development that based on commodity sector of that zone characteristic. Sea fishs commodity and its sea product in the costal area are potensial economy that based on the zone by development of transportation movement that based on production of sea product commodities. The commodity of the sea of sea fish and other sea product appropriate MP3EI certainty are one of commodity group principal and strategic goods in the regional internal region of central java province by mean in order to buffer reinforcement structure of economy need in the region on autonomous a scale. To know potential of coastal region movement based on production result by estimate movement generated model that based on sosio economic condition, transportation infrastructure and transport mode in that region. By multiple regression  analisis method to the movement generated model that analyzed based on socioeconomic, demography by dominant factor is input and output commodity variable plant kind commodity from various kind of sea fish commodity production and other sea product that is result in the zones at central java province region. The equation is adalah Ln Yi = 3,29 + 1,00 Ln X1 + 0,103 Ln X2 + 0,00410 Ln X3 + 0,0472 Ln X4 - 0,0006 Ln X5 + 0,094 Ln X6 + 0,0063 Ln X7 - 0,0748 Ln X8 - 0,0422 Ln X9 - 0,0192 Ln X10 + 0,0900 Ln X13by signification model R2 = 0.864. Based on movement generated model, trip distribution model can be develop, that result Tid = 22.496 – -6.4321 x 10-9 X by calibration value β = 6.4321 x 10-9 . Trip Distribution model of sea fish commodity and other sea product occurared to the higestst movement  distance between 100 – 300 km. Trip distribution method is done by comparative between unlimitation constraint of UCGR ang limitation trip genetation of PCGR. PCGR model has atendency to exact model on the trip distribution because by using that methode is the appropriated characteristic of central java region to rapid development of its commodity production. Keywords : Trip distribution, coastal area , gravity model   Abstrak Kawasan pesisir wilayah pantai mempunyai potensi perkembangan ekonomi  berdasarkan sektor komoditas karakteristk zona tersebut. Komoditas ikan laut dan hasil – hasil lautnya dikawasan pesisir merupakan  potensi perekonomian berbasis  zona dengan perkembangan pergerakan transportasi  yang berbasis produksi komoditas hasil – hasil kelautan. Komoditas ikan laut dan hasil – hasil laut lainnya sesuai dengan ketentuan MP3EI merupakan  salah satu kelompok komoditas Barang Pokok dan Strategis  pada wilayah  internal regional  Provinsi Jawa Tengah dengan peranan untuk menyangga  penguatan struktur kebutuhan ekonomi wilayah tersebut secara mandiri. Dengan mengetahui potensi pergerakan kawasan  pesisir berdasarkan hasil produksinya dan mengestimasi Model Bangkitan Pergerakan berdasarakan kondisi sosio ekonomi, kondisi infrastruktur transportasi dan sarana transportasi diwilayah tersebut. Dengan metode analisa regresi berganda model bangkitan  pergerakan yang dianalisa berdasarkan faktor dominan variabel output dan input jenis komoditas  dari berbagai jenis produksi komoditas ikan laut dan hasil laut lainnya yang dihasilkan di zona – zona di wilayah Propinsi Jawa Tengah. Persamaan  model bangkitan pergerakan adalah Ln Yi = 3,29 + 1,00 Ln X1 + 0,103 Ln X2 + 0,00410 Ln X3 + 0,0472 Ln X4 - 0,0006 Ln X5 + 0,094 Ln X6 + 0,0063 Ln X7 - 0,0748 Ln X8 - 0,0422 Ln X9 - 0,0192 Ln X10 + 0,0900 Ln X13dengan signifikansi model R2 = 0.864. Berdasarkan model bangkitan pergerakan, model sebaran pergerakan dapat dibangun, dengan hasil yang diperoleh Tid = 22.496 – 6.4321 x 10-9 X dengan hasil klibrasi nilai β = 6.4321 x 10-9.  Model sebaran pergerakankomoditas ikan laut dan hasil – hasil laut lainnya terjadi pada pergerakan pada jaraka pergerakan  tertinggi antara jarak 100 – 300 km. Metode sebaran pergerakan dilakukan dengan perbandingan antara metode tanpa batasan  UCGR dan batasan PCGR.  Model PCGR mempunyai kecenderungan model yang tepat  pada sebaran pergerakan tersebut karena penggunaakan metode tersebut merupakan sesuai karakteristik daerah  Jawa Tengah dengan  perkembangan  pesat dengan produksi komoditasnya. Abstract

Abstract This paper provides insights of the current state of public transport in East Asian Mega-cities, their characteristics that make them different with other public transport systems in other parts of the world. A combination of high percentage of public transport use, existence of para-transit, poor service quality to respond with high level of motorizations are some of the features of urban public transport in East Asian developing cities. Data from Tokyo, Shanghai, Seoul, Taipei, Ho Chi Minh City, Manila, Jakarta, and Bangkok are analyzed to develop a thorough understanding on the specific features of public transport in the East Asian Mega-cities. Several reform policies and strategies are proposed, including promoting public transport technology to shift the competition from costs to quality, fare integration, suitable financing options, and an appropriate implementation timing, as well as developing a public transport hierarchy to suit the increasing demand for urban mobility.Keywords: East Asia, urban area, public transport, reform strategy.

Abstract

Abstrak Salah satu kendala pengembangan pelayanan transportasi antarmoda di wilayah perkotaan adalah belum adanya pedoman/panduan yang dapat digunakan sebagai dasar acuan untuk menyelenggarakan transportasi antarmoda di wilayah tersebut. Bagaimana menjadikan kegiatan perpindahan moda yang dilakukan oleh pengguna dapat berjalan dengan lancar (seamless) sehingga mampu mereduksi waktu perjalanan dan memberikan rasa aman serta nyaman selama melakukan kegiatan tersebut merupakan hal-hal yang perlu dijawab dalam pedoman ini. Untuk itu, tahap awal yang harus dilakukan adalah merumuskan indikator-indikator pelayanan transportasi antarmoda berdasarkan persepsi masyarakat dan sensitifitasnya terhadap karakteristik pengguna transportasi antarmoda di wilayah perkotaan.. Basis data kajian ini akan dikembangkan dari hasil wawancara terhadap pengguna moda transportasi yang menggunakan 2 (dua) jenis moda transportasi berbeda pada saat melakukan satu kali perjalanan dengan tujuan tertentu. Survei akan terbagi menjadi 2 (dua) tahap yaitu: survei penentuan indikator dan survei sensitifitas (menggunakan metode stated preference). Sebagai wilayah studi adalah wilayah Jakarta sekitarnya dan Surabaya sekitarnya. Keterpaduan moda yang dijadikan objek survei adalah keterpaduan antarmoda yang ada di wilayah perkotaan atau memiliki karakteristik perjalanan di dalam kota, antara lain: 1) Bis Reguler – busway, 2) kereta api – angkutan jalan, 3) angkutan jalan - angkutan udara, 4) ASDP – angkutan jalan, 5) kereta api – ASDP, dan 6) kereta api – angkutan udara.Hasil kajian mengindikasikan bahwa secara umum ada 2 (dua) kelompok indikator utama yang mempengaruhi pelayanan transportasi antarmoda, yaitu: 1) kelompok indikator stimulan, terdiri dari: waktu tunggu dan biaya peron, 2) kelompok indikator respon terdiri dari: keamanan, keselamatan, kenyamanan dan informasi ditempat transit. Sedangkan dari kajian sensitifitas mengindikasikan hal sebagai berikut:1) berdasar kategori moda tidak terjadi hubungan yang konklusif antara indikator pelayanan perpindahan moda dengan agregrat dan disagregat karakteristik responden, 2) tingkatan kondisi sosial ekonomi merupakan karakteristik responden yang harus diperhatikan dalam penyusunan pedoman fasilitas perpindahan moda, 3) karakteristik pengguna dengan tingkat pendapatan rendah tidak sensitif terhadap penyediaan fasilitas perpindahan moda, 4) fasilitas perpindahan moda harus mampu melayani semua kelompok pengguna (dengan keterbatasan fisik maupun tidak), 5) ketersediaan informasi merupakan variabel yang memiliki elastisitas yang setara untuk semua kategori/karakteristik pengguna, sehingga penyusunan pedoman harus merekomendasikan penyediaan informasi tanpa melihat kelompok pengguna (cross cutting isue), 6) untuk moda-moda transportasi yang mempunyai biaya transportasi tinggi, penggunanya cenderung memiliki sensitifitas yang tinggi terhadap standar fasilitas perpindahan moda, 7) pengguna yang secara rutin menggunakan moda transportasi (frequent travellers) memiliki kepekaan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pengguna yang kadangkala (occational users) sehingga pedoman harus didasarkan pada kelompok frequent travellers, dan 8) pengguna dengan biaya transportasi yang besar akan memiliki tuntutan standar pelayanan yang lebih tinggi pula (lebih aktif menuntut haknya). Kata-kata kunci: indikator, sensitifitas, pelayanan transportasi antarmoda, transit, perkotaan.

Abstract

Abstract The aim of this study is to explore the effect of motorization to the development of urban public transportation in urban areas in Indonesian city in the last decade. The study employs many statistical data regarding motorization and urban public transport. It can be concluded that the motorization will continue to grow, and the existing transport policy should be re-questioned. It roots on the lack of acceptable provision of public transport in term of quality and quantity, but also as a result of high preference on using private transport. The challenge becomes excessive and complex, since there is no appropriate visionary road map for development of urban public transport. In answering this problem, the authors propose an abstract of two sequence approach, namely setting priority in taking side in provision of acceptable mobility for all, and followed with the redefinition of urban transport development by implementing transit-oriented development.Key words: motorization, urban public transport, development, sustainability.

Abstract

This paper attempts to elaborate the relationship of the economics activities of commodities toward export -specifically the production of goods and services that generate freight transportation. The spatial data of commodities related to the economics’ activities (resources, factories, and outlets), the transportation data(infrastructures, modes, and services), and government regulations, are use in formulating the method for freight transportation planning utilizing intermodality concept, to produce efficient freight movements and to enhance sustainable mobility and economic development in the regional scale.Keywords: economics activities, freight transportation, sustainable mobility.

Abstract

As a basic model, trip generation model aims to obtain the number of movement generated by each origin and the one attracted to each destination zone. Based on the movement, trip generation model is categorized into home-based trip generation and non home-originated/destinated trip attraction. Given that the different types of activities attract trips with different characteristics, it can be concluded that land use management determines the movement and activities. Remote sensing imagery has been extensively used in various research themes including land use management or land use and detailed land utility. As one of the remote sensing imageries, Quickbird imagery is advantageous with its high spatial resolution which is 0.61 cm. Therefore, it is interesting to apply the 0.61 cm spatial resolution to the trip generation model to estimate the number of trips at the trip generation. This aims is to minimize field activities which are high cost, extensive workers, and relatively time consuming.Keywords: trip generation model, trip attraction, quickbird imagery

Abstract

This study attempts to model freight transportation of specific commodity in the regional scale, particularly to identify the shortest route of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) commodities, which are transported from factories to ports using different transportation network and mode. Several activities were performed, includingidentifying the location of palm plantations and factories supporting CPO industries, identifying intermediate points in the road and river networks, and determining the access route of CPO transportation from factory to the road or river networks. In determining the shortest route, various transportation networks and modes are simulated using Geographical Information System analysis by considering travel distance, time, and costas the variables influencing transportation systems. There are 113 of CPO factories identified, then be classified into three classes by considering their production capacity. It is found that 80 factories are classified as small (71%), 26 factories are medium (23%), and 7 factories are big (6%). The shortest route is identified through both road and river networks. The analysis of the shortest routes shows that road networks have shorter travel distance and time compared to the rivers. Nevertheless, river transportation offers a cheaper price compared to road transportation. Therefore, there is a competition between these two transportation modes, in which about 51% of factories probably use road networks and 49% use river networks. Moreover, it is predicted that about 70% of total CPO in Central Kalimantan is transported to Sampit port and only 30% is transported to Kumai port.Keywords: freight transportation, shortest route, Geographical Information System
