Abstract

An Offshore platform module is used as fondation to support and sustain the weigt of all activities that accur on the module. The platform is a combination of a large H-Beam that incorporates to welding process. The vibration mechine and the process can lead to crack (fracture) at H-beam welding and will continue to propagate and be fatal. As a precaution to quality control tool need does not spoil the outcome of the H-beam are assemble by using of NDT (Non Destructive Test) method and ultrasonic techniques as cracking defect detection (crack) which occurs in the H-beam. The variables used are metal material cracks, material cracking factors and frequency of cracking factors. To analyze the cracking are using pareto chart and fishbone diagram. The relationship between the factors that cause disability to defects caused using chi squere calculation. The results of this study are that there are 4 factors that cause defects, namely the welding flame is too small, the welding flame is too large, the material is too thick and dirty in the welding area. The conclusion of this study requirement is material strenght rift in the welding H-beam process with the level of comparison between chi squere count 141,83 is greater than the chi squere table 21,66 and with degrees of free 9, and with the Contingency coefficient of 0,89 which indicates ther is a strong influence among the causes of the rift.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of teacher knowledge about the 21st century curriculum by using the BORDA function. There are four skills and abilities namely communication, collaboration, critical and creative. The sample used was junior high and vocational school teachers in Batam. The results of his research communication skills have a greater percentage than other skills, namely for junior high school teacher communication knowledge by 43% and vocational school by 34%. Whereas in the SWOT analysis skills and communication skills are the strengths that both have a higher value than other indicators, both junior high and vocational high schools.

Abstract

Batam is a city located in the Riau archipelago., besides being known as an industrial city, Batam City is also a famous tourist attraction, where one of them is a motorcycle tourism ojek, several beaches frequented by local and national tourists are beaches located in the region barelang namely vio-vio beach and Malay beach. The beauty of nature and the attractiveness of building and beach facilities are needed for the advancement of the beaches in the city of Batam in order to advance and develop coastal tourism. To maintain and maintain the number of beach visitors is needed an effort to maintain the quality of service so that visitor satisfaction can be maintained and improved. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of satisfaction of the end using the servqual method based on five aspects, namely tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy, and by taking a sample of 130 samples. The results of the study of 130 respondents were for the servqual score, which is the average value of the gab for each dimension. Based on the results of research conducted servqual value of each dimension on the vio-vio beach is tangible (-1,014), reliability (-0,910), responsiveness (-0,969) assurance (-0,967), and empathy, namely (-1,077), while for Malay beach are tangible (-1,005), reliability (0,969), responsiveness (-0,938) assurance (-0,883), and empathy (-0,992), and based on servqual score calculation results of the calculation of gab for the five dimensions> -1 which means satisfied, for IPA analysis on the vio-vio beach that needs to be improved is in quadrant I namely the dimensions of reliability, responsiviness and empathy while on the Malay coast is tangible, responsiviness and empathy

Abstract

Batam is known as an industrial city, in addition to an industrial city, Batam is also known as a city with beach tourism, some beaches that are often visited by tourists are beaches located in the Barelang area. Coastal tourism needs to be mapped to find out the coastal area. The purpose of this study is to make a mapping of coastal tourist areas that are often visited by tourists using a Geographic Information System based on data on the level of tourist satisfaction with the beach using the servsqual method. based on the results of the study, there are three beaches that are frequently visited by tourists, namely Mirota beach, Melayu beach and Vio-vio beach where based on the level of visitor satisfaction for Mirota beach from the five dimensions using the servsqual method are in the satisfied category, for Malay beach there is one dimension in the dissatisfied category is tangible (-1.005), while for Vio-vio beach there are 2 dimensions in the dissatisfied category, namely tangible (-1.014) and empathic (-1.077). for mapping using a geographic information system where on the map of tourist attractions the coast for the Malay coast is indicated by a red triangle, Mirota beach is indicated by a pink triangle and for Vio-vio beach is indicated by a black triangle. With the mapping of coastal tourism is expected to provide information for tourists in knowing the distribution of coastal areas that are often visited.

Abstract

Recently, the filling of vehicle tires, be it cars or motorbikes, has begun to use nitrogen gas as an ingredient for tire pumps. Compared to filling using conventional air media, there are many advantages when consumers or vehicle users fill tire pressure with nitrogen. This is where the distribution of pump outlets and tire fillings using nitrogen began, which are mostly opened at refueling sites or gas stations. This research was conducted at one of the CV business entities in the city of Batam which is engaged in filling and patching tires using nitrogen gas which is located in the Sekupang gas station area which is an industrial area and is close to community services making Sekupang gas stations a strategic area in this line of business. In the service related to filling and patching tires with nitrogen gas, there must be some opinions, both positive and negative, about the service at the outlet. From here, researchers will examine the level of customer satisfaction for filling and filling tires using nitrogen gas. The results of the study are that for the tangible dimension all statements have a satisfied category because the quality value is positive, for the reliability dimension there is 1 attribute that has a negative value, namely statement no 6 with a value of -1.1. For the responsiveness dimension, there is 1 attribute that is dissatisfied with a value of -0.39, namely in statement no. 9. For the assurance dimension there is 1 attribute that has a negative value, namely statement no. 13 with a value of -1.06, while for the empathy dimension there is 1 attribute that is dissatisfied. namely statement no. 15 with a value of -0.56.

Abstract

The focus of this study is to determine whether the quality of products, product prices can influence the decision to purchase the home either partially or simultaneously by consumers in PT. Putera Karyasindo Prakarsa - Batam. the sample to be used in this study is as many as 98 respondents. This study suspects Partially Product Quality variables positively and significantly affect consumer purchasing decisions in PT. Putera Karyasindo Prakarsa with t count value 4,084 and significance 0.000. Partially Product Price variable positively and significantly influence to Consumer Purchase Decision in PT. Putera Karyasindo Prakarsa with t value 4,367 and significance 0,000. Simultaneously variable Product Quality and Product Price influence together to Purchasing Decision of consumer in PT. Putera Karyasindo Prakarsa with F value count 73,504 with significance level 0.000. The result of detrmination coefficient (R2) or the amount of solution that can be given the variable of quality and price (independent variable) to the problem ie the decision of home purchase by consumer (Dependent variable) equal to 0,607 or 60,7% while the rest 39,3% investigated in this study.

Abstract

Semakin detail proses pembuatan akan semakin mencapai operasional yang lebih konsisten dengan harapan dapat menghasilkan produk yang lebih baik sesuai dengan karakteristiknya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode taguci dengan menunjukan bagian mana yang tidak bekerja secara maksimal dengan memperhatikan kualitas yang menyimpang dari target value sehingga dapat menekan biaya dan sumber seminimal mungkin. Metodologi Taguci dilakukan berdasarka pada rencana eksperimental Taguchi. Metodologi ini menjelaskan pentingnya kontrol kualitas yang akurat desain produk dan proses untuk memproduksi produk. Teknik pengambilan sample menggunakan Teknik purposing sampling diambil data dengan kriteria tertentu khusus produk hardbaid jalam jangka waktu tertentu waktu 07:00 WIB pada shift pertama pekerja departermen spray painting. Analisa dengan menghitung nilai kerugian dalam kualitas tanpa harus memperbarui suatu fungsi kualitas yang sesuai dengan karakteriktiknya.Fungsi kerugian kualitas produk dalam dilakukan dengan menggunakan perhitungan Taguchi Loss. Kasus setelah perbaikan diperoleh Rp. 11.927,00/pcs. Jadi selisih rata-rata peningkatan rata-rata sebelum dan sesudah Rp 5.389/Psc.Pada uji paired sample t test adanya perbedaan sebelum dan setelah perbaikan. Selanjutnya akan dilakukan uji hubungan dengan melihat hasil output paired kolerasi menghasilkan tidak ada hubungan sebelum dan setelah perbaikan.

Abstract

PT. X adalah Manufaktur Valve, Accuator dan Accessories. PT. X mengalami kesulitan dalam memenuhi pesanan pesanan karena proses setting produk Main Steam terlalu lama sehingga kapasitas produksinya rendah, sehingga perlu dilakukan perancangan Jig pada proses setting produk Main Steam agar dapat mengeliminasi waktu pengerjaan setting. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bagian produksi dengan menggunakan metode analisis Quality Function Deployment. Tahapan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Voice of Costumer yang berguna untuk mengetahui ketertarikan perusahaan, atribut produk dan respon teknis guna menghilangkan set up time yang lama sehingga tercapai kapasitas produksi. Setelah tahapan tersebut selesai, dilakukan analisis dengan menggunakan metode QFD. Identifikasi quality deployment function (QFD) sebagai salah satu alat yang dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pelanggan dan menghubungkan kebutuhan tersebut dengan desain produk. PT. X berhasil memangkas waktu setting dengan metode QFD untuk meningkatkan hasil produksi.

Abstract

Technological developments also have an impact on the transportation system on the highway. One of them is the various types and types of transportation used by society today. Based on data, every year 1.3 million people die as a result of road traffic accidents and more than 3,000 people die every day due to traffic accidents. One of the cities in Indonesia that is classified as having the highest traffic accident record, namely Batam. The rate of traffic accidents in Batam City has increased every year, where data states that there has been an increase in traffic accidents of 47% for the 2019-2020 period. The high traffic accidents in Batam generally occur due to a lack of public knowledge and awareness in driving and traffic, especially among school children and adolescent drivers. As happened at SMK Widya Batam, where almost 80% of the students use motorbikes for school transportation. Therefore, through fostering the Traffic Safety program socialization in driving ethics for Widya Batam Vocational School students both within the school environment and outside the school environment, it is hoped that it can provide the transfer of information and knowledge about the importance of increasing awareness of driving ethics and concern for traffic safety and also participate participate in maintaining security, order and safety on the road.

Abstract

Education is very important for the progress of the country, education cannot be separated from an assessment. Assessment must be based on the existing rubric to be clear, structured, and transparent. One of the existing assessments is based on analytic, holistic, and perceptual scales. The purpose of this study was to establish an assessment rubric in the algebra course because the course was only seen from a quantitative assessment, but in this study, it was assessed based on attitude, and character and then made criteria based on independent assignments and structured assignments and the results would later be tested differently by using the sample t-test. test, namely the independent sample t-test, the results of the data are not normally distributed, it is better to use the Wilxoson test and sign t-test. The result is that there is no difference between independent tasks and structured tasks seen from the significant table and the t-test table. Pendidikan sangatlah penting bagi kemajuan negara, pendidikan tidaklah lepas dari suatu penilaian. Penilaian haruslah berdasarkan rubrik yang ada agar jelas, tertruktur dan transparan. Salah satu penilaian yang ada berdasarkan analitik, holistik dan skala persepsi. Tujuan penelitian ini, menetapkan rubrik penilaian dalam matakuliah aljabar karena matakuliah tersebut hanya dilihat dari penilaian kuantitatif saja, namun dalam penelitian ini dinilai berdasarkan sikap, karakternya juga kemudian membuat kriteria berdasarkan tugas mandiri maupun tugas terstruktur dan hasilnya nanti akan diuji beda dengan menggunakan uji sampel t test yaitu independent sample t test, hasilya data tidak terdistribusi normal sebaiknya menggunakan uji wilxoson dan sign t-test. Hasilnya tidak ada perbedaan antara tugas mandiri maupun tugas terstruktur dilihat dari tabel signifikan maupun tabel t test nya.
