Abstract

The dielectric strength of pure nynas oil can be enhanced by adding various nanoparticles such as nanoalumina (Al2O3). To see the effect of the addition of alumina nanoparticles, 4 types of nynas oil have been prepared with the addition of nanoalumina particles by 0.00%, 0.010%, 0.015% and 0.020%. All samples were tested for dielectric breakdown voltage and partial discharge inception voltage (PDIV) test at room temperature with reference to IEC 60156 test standards. The results showed that the nanonynas oil breakdown voltage increased by 6% and the value of the partial discharge inception voltage also higher than that of pure oil. Keywords : Mineral oil, alumina, brekadown voltage, partial discharge inception voltageAbstrakKekuatan dielektrik minyak transformator nynas nitro murni dapat ditingkatkan dengan menambahkan berbagai partikel nano seperti nanoalumina (Al2O3).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat effek penambahan partikel nano alumina terhadap karakteristik tegangan tembus dan tegangan insepsi peluahan sebagian. Abstract

Smarthome merupakan salah satu implementasi konsep Internet of Things (IoT) yang memungkinkan untuk mengontrol dan memonitoring perangkat elektronik melalui jaringan internet. Pada penelitian ini dirancang sebuah sistem smarthome yang mendukung sinkronisasi pengontrolan hidup dan matinya perangkat elektronik melalui switch, aplikasi web dan time scheduling dengan database. Untuk mendukung sistem tersebut digunakan beberapa tools pendukung seperti Apache, MySQL, dan PHP serta hardware berupa arduino dan raspberry pi.  Sementara itu, metode pemodelan agile dengan pendekatan scrum digunakan dalam perancangan sistem ini. Penelitian ini diimplementasikan dalam sebuah Sistem Informasi Manajemen Perangkat Elektronik berbasis web yang bernama SIMPEL. Aplikasi SIMPEL memberikan kemudahan dalam mengendalikan perangkat elektronik yang ada di rumah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai tahanan pentanahan elektrode batang tunggal berdiameter berbeda, dengan konfigurasi penanaman secara vertikal dan horizontal serta ditambahkan campuran gypsum (G) dan arang (A) sebagai soil treatment. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi dan pengukuran langsung. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif. Hasil untuk diameter elektrode 12 mm baik penanaman secara vertikal maupun horizontal, semakin besar perbandingan campuran gypsum dan arang yang digunakan dan semakin lama penanamannya akan mempengaruhi penurunan nilai tahanan. Dari hasil pengukuran tersebut dengan merubah konfigurasi penanaman elektrode batang dapat menurunkan nilai tahanan pentanahan sebesar 20%. Sedangkan untuk elektrode diameter 16 mm sama halnya dengan elektrode 12 mm, namun dengan merubah diameter elektrode menjadi lebih besar maka nilai tahanan pentanahan akan semakin turun, hal ini sesuai dengan nilai tahanan yang didapatkan dari pengukuran yang dilakukan secara langsung dilapangan. Dan merubah konfigurasi penanamannya dari vertikal ke horizontal dapat menurunkan nilai tahanan sebesar 13%. Dengan tambahan campuran gypsum dan arang yang bervariasi dan mengubah diameter elektrode batang tunggal 12 mm menjadi 16 mm dapat menurunkan nilai tahanan pentanahan sebesar 12%.

Abstract

his study aims to design an alternative power generator using a thermoelectric generator (TEG) by utilizing a heating furnace, using two thermoelectric generators (TEG) connected in series. Thermoelectrics that take advantage of temperature differences can produce voltages that correspond to the seebeck effect. The alternative power generator that has been designed consist of a thermoelectric, boost converter, and a 5 Watt DC lamp load. The test was carried out using a Boost Converter and using a 5 Watt DC lamp load for 20 minutes. The results of the research using the Boost Converter produce a voltage of 42.8 V with a temperature difference of 90°C, while using a 5 Watt DC lamp load produces a voltage of 8.81 V with a temperature difference of 82°C and the resulting current is 0.6 A, the resulting power 4.84W.

Abstract

This study aims to plan a solar power plant with an off grid system that will be used for electricity needs in Hamlet Kunangan Jaya 2 RT.28 which is one of the Hamllet in Bungku Village. Bungku Village is included in the 3T area, which is left behind, foremost, and outermost.Hamle Kunangan Jaya 2 RT.28have not enjoyed electricity from PLN due to difficult access and far from urban areas.The research was conducted with a descriptive research method. The selection of this type of method is used on the basis of the consideration that the nature of the research describes a plan carried out to meet the electricity needs of public facilities. Studies field were carried out to determine the electricity needs of public facilities: Mosques, Polides, and Elementary Schools, find out the number of panels needed, measure solar radiation and measure the area of the building. Calculation of electricity requirements is carried out in order to find out how much electricity is needed in public facilities, carry out design plans and calculate a budget plan to describe the planned installation. The results of solar data measurement for Optimal Global Irradiation in Bungku Village are 4,549kWh/m2 per day, the required amount of solar cell power is 6,000WP, three 40A Solar Charger Controllers, 2,800Ah batteries and 8000Watt Inverters. The total load required for mosques, polides, and elementary schools is 25,126Wh. The total RAB for PLTS development using an off-grid system requires a cost of IDR 138,647,000.

Abstract

Teknologi robotik saat ini telah banyak digunakan dihampir semua tempat seperti otomotif, industri, pendidikan, dan lain-lain. Perkembangan teknologi ini tentunya harus diiringi dengan peningkatan fasilitas di sekolah. Permasalahan yang muncul di lapangan adalah beberapa sekolah, khususnya di luar perkotaan yaitu minimnya ketersedian alat peraga. Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri (SMAN) 15 Muaro Jambi merupakan sekolah yang berlokasi di pondok meja. Belum maksimalnya pemberian materi dan contoh dalam bidang robotika yang diberikan kepada siswa, sehingga dilaksanakan workshop pembuatan robot line follower. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu ektif eksperimental. Setalah melakukan wokshop siswa menjadi lebih paham mengenai dasar-dasar robotik dan siswa juga dapat dan membuat robot line follower. Terbuatnya robot ini menunjukkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa mengenai robotik bertambah.

Abstract

Enhancing the quality of learning is worthy by the availability of PLTS trainers. This work intends to build and create PLTS trainers as learning material for renewable energy generation. The preparation of this study was divided into two stages: first, a PLTS media trainer kit and a practical training module that functioned as a handbook for using the media trainer were created. The ADDIE method is used as the development model for the practical guiding module and media trainer. Based on the data analysis findings show that the 10Wp solar module can provide a maximum energy of 5.11Wp for 11 hours when charging a 7.5Ah battery. With a 63 Watt total load, the PLTS trainer's Ah battery can run for 37 minutes. With an average percentage of 93% and 92%, respectively, the material expert validator and media expert have deemed the media trainer and practicum instruction module feasible. This places them in the very good category

Abstract

The increasing demand for energy and the need for environmental sustainability have led to the adoption of renewable energy sources, such as micro-hydropower plants (PLTMH), in isolated communities in Indonesia. However, voltage and frequency instability issues are commonly encountered in PLTMH systems, which undermine their performance. In 2009, a micro-hydropower plant with a capacity of 30 KW was built in Renah Kemumu village.  Ranah Kemumu village is located in Jangkat sub-district, Merangin district, Jambi province. In this study, the voltage and frequency instability of PLTMH in Renah Kemumu Village were investigated. The methodology employed in this study was observational. The voltage and frequency data were measured and recorded during peak load hours from 18.00 to 21.00 over one month. The percentage increase relative to the standard voltage and frequency was calculated. Boxplots were generated to visualize the distributions. The voltage measurements showed maximum and minimum values of 270 V and 264 V, representing increases of 22.72 % and 20.45% from the 220 V (standard set by the power utility (PLN)). The frequency ranged from 66.32 Hz to 57.46 Hz, corresponding to 30.92% and 14.92% deviations from the 50 Hz (standard set by the power utility (PLN)).  These values exceeded the tolerance limits of the State Electricity Company of Indonesia. The analysis indicates that the voltage and frequency levels at the PLTMH in Renah Kemumu Village are unstable during peak loads, with fluctuations stemming from changing water flows, load currents, and weather conditions
