Abstract

In nation buliding, the process of raising and maintaining awarenes of the attitude of tolerance is a very fundamental in order to preserve national identity and spirit of tolerance among the studens SMAN 1 Pulau Morotai has been done by way of providing edukation history of planting Pancasila values to studens, so the attitude of tolerance that have enough studens to rese. Tolerance SMAN 1 students of Morotai in the category average is quite high. Estabilisme of tolerance on students, influenced by student interest in studying the history and the ability of students to clarify the volue of history. Interest in studying the history and values clarification skills Pancasila together, able to explain the changing attitudes of tolerance among the students SMA Negeri 1 Pulau Morotai. This type of research is a qualitative aproach deskriptipf research, data collection menthods through obsefasi, documentation, and wawancara. Tujuan this researchis to describe the attitude of tolerance manifestation of clas II SMA Negeri 1 Pulau Morotai.Based on their analysis of the data that the efforts of teachers in creating a class II student tolerance SMAN 1 Pulau Morotai is to provide learning facilities completed and remedial programs, while supporting factor is the provision of learning facilities such as library (tex books) have been carried out and the quality of teahers continue to be improved. Keywords: students’ tolerance attitude

Abstract

Principal as a supervisor has important roles in learning and teaching process, and has educational standards and qualities. In performing his or her roles, principal always pays attention to human relations among teachers, employers and students. Supervision is an effort to help and service teachers to improve their teaching ability. Supervisor is not directly linked to students, since teachers manage students. Supervisor is not a directive task but more likely to be a consultative one (such as supporting, suggesting, and guiding). Method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method which illustrates and describes the roles of principal in improving the learning quality. The roles of principal as administrator and supervisor are the main object. Based on teacher competency, the ability of teachers shows a slight improvement. The improvement of teachers' ability is resulted from supervision ways and approaches at school in managing, supporting and guiding the elements of schools. Based on quality standard, the implementation of supervision is improved. This means that the assistance and the management of the supervisor of the principal, and supervision approaches implemented by the principal in his or her effort to increase and to develop teachers' competency in the process of learning and teaching show better qualities and progression.Keywords: Supervision, Principal, and Teachers' Competency

Abstract

The low quality of human resources is a fundamental problem that can hinder national economic development and development. Structuring human resources needs to be pursued gradually and continuously through a quality education system both in the formal, informal, and non-formal education pathways, from basic education to higher education. In accordance with observations/observations of researchers in the field, especially in one of the institutions (schools) of SMP Negeri 37 Halmahera Selatan. Decadence/deterioration of moral values occurs, such as Students no longer develop and preserve the moral values of Pancasila. They are universally dynamic and open. The cultivation of moral values in schools is currently experiencing a setback. Thus Civics teachers seek to find alternatives in order to shape the moral values of SMP Negeri 37 Halmahera Selatan students. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods and aims to determine the efforts made by Civics teachers in shaping the moral values of students of SMP Negeri 37 Halmahera Selatan. And want to know the factors inhibiting the moral value of students of SMP Negeri 37 Halmahera Selatan. The results of this study indicate that Civics teachers have an effort to form good moral values of students, do not interrupt other people's conversations, respect teachers and parents at home. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor for Civics teachers in shaping the moral values of students of SMP Negeri 37 Halmahera Selatan is dealing with students who have a tendency to be lazy, spoiled, and students often skip school.

Abstract

Abstract. This research was conducted to describe teachers’ competence,the teachers’ competence is one of the influence factor in education success, teacher’s competence to cover: (1) pedagogic competence, (2) personal competence, (3) professional competence and (4) social competence.This research also studied the concepts of the teachers’ competence, the factors influence in teacher’s competence, the strategy of teachers’ competence, and  good management in teachers’ competence. These researches were used qualitative approach. The data sources were consist of the head master, teacher and parents. The data were collected by observation, in-depth interview, and documentation. The obtained data were verified and analyzed through data verified, data reduction continued to take conclusion.The findings of the research are: (1) the distribution of teacher inthe environment of Provincial Office of Education, Youth and Sport of East Halmahera Regency is not good and, (2) The competences of teachers in the elementary schools must be upgraded to fulfill the standard of competence and (3) The development programs of teacher’ competence in the elementaryschools were also not good. Key Word: teachers’ distribution, the developing teacher’s competence, the systematization of management teacher’s competence

Abstract

This research is a research on the use of discussion method which aims to study the use of discussion methods in fifth grade students of SD Inpres Daeo Kec. Selatan Morotai. This type of research is a type of descriptive qualitative research that discusses the application of learning by the method of discussion. Why this method teaches learning in problems that occur in learning by way of discussion about learning solutions most students think about learning that involves activities that involve many students who think sitting in the classroom like a meeting place. Therefore designing a learning process that satisfies students is one aspect of the environment that provides guidance that provides a sense of security in the learning process in class. The role and supervision of the teacher in the learning process by using the method of discussion and giving encouragement and motivation to students to learn is a very important factor in order to achieve learning objectives. After the teacher uses the discussion method so that the fifth grade students of SD Inpres Daeo are able to express their opinions.

Abstract

The purpose of this research on the implementation of the STAD type cooperative learning model is that it can improve learning outcomes in Mathematics operations calculate the addition of mixed fractions to elementary school students in Pulau Morotai Regency. Based on data analysis and discussion, the conclusion that can be drawn from this study is the STAD type cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes about the addition of mixed fraction operations can be accelerated is not the same as the SD Inpres Sopi elementary school. This was evidenced by an increase in student learning outcomes from the first cycle the value of learning completeness was 35% while in the second cycle the value of mastery learning 90% increased in accordance with KKM (70) which was agreed by the class teacher.

Abstract

The objective to be achieved in this research is to study the application of Demonstration methods in Science Learning and cognitive, affective and psychomotor abilities in Science Learning about the Subject Style of Class IV students in Pilowo Elementary School. This type of research used in this study is the Class Research method we know as PTK (Classroom Action Research), this study consists of two cycles and an outline, containing four steps, namely (1) planning (planning), (2) implementing ( acting), (3) observation (observing), and (4) reflection. Based on data analysis and discussion, the conclusions that can be drawn from this study are student learning outcomes in science subject material style in cycle I on the cognitive aspects of students (40%), affective (35%), and psychomotor (45%) later completed in cycle II became Cognitive (85%), affective (90%), and psychomotor (85%) aspects, and 3 students who had not yet completed due to the limited research time not supported in cycle III and could only be remedied until they could achieve completeness. Thus the application of demonstration learning models can improve student learning in science subjects.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the application of the Index Card Match strategy in improving learning outcomes in science subjects at the subject of human skeletons and how to care for fourth grade students of SD Inpres Daeo. The type of research used in this research is the Classroom Action Research method which we know as PTK (Classroom Action Research). This research consists of two cycles and in general, there are four stages, namely (1) planning, (2) acting, (3) observing, and (4) reflecting. Based on data analysis and discussion, the conclusions that can be drawn from this study are that the student learning outcomes of the learning material have increased, this can be seen when tests are carried out in the first cycle of students who complete 8 or 40% and in the second cycle when carried out the test increased to 18 or 90%.

This type of research used in this research is qualitative research. The results in this study are, 1). The form of collaboration between teachers and parents in improving student learning outcomes is communication, recitation, parental involvement in children's learning at home. 2). The obstacles experienced by the madrasah in establishing cooperation between teachers and parents to improve student learning outcomes are influenced by internal and external factors. Internal factors, namely the teacher's view of parents and teacher constraints. While external factors are the views of parents, life demands and attitudes of parents. 3) Efforts made by SD BPD Podimor Padange in realizing cooperation between teachers and parents in improving student learning outcomes are: a). Schools provide the best service to parents of students. b) Schools equate perceptions and values ​​instilled by the school with the values ​​taught by parents by conducting initial communication. c) Provide opportunities for parents to be involved in learning at home

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the application of the Problem Based Introduction (PBI) Learning Method in improving Social Studies Learning Outcomes on the types of work for fifth grade students of SD Inpres Dehegila. The type of research used in this research is the Classroom Action Research method known as CAR (Classroom Action Research). This research consists of two cycles and outlines, there are four stages, namely (1) planning, (2) implementation (acting), (3) observation (observing), and (4) reflection (reflecting). Based on data analysis and discussion, the conclusion that can be drawn from this research is that there is an increase in social studies learning outcomes through problem based recognition (PBI) based learning on the types of work. seen when the test was carried out in the first cycle of students who completed 7 or (43.75%) and in the second cycle when the test was carried out increased to 14 or (87.5%). Due to the limited time, the research was not continued to cycle III and only remedial was held until it was completed.
