Abstract

The business’ level, lack of knowledge about the making process and use of hand sanitizers from natural ingredients caused sellers in Pasar Baru Kefamenanu do not apply the health protocols during transactions with buyers. Therefore, there needs to be educated about natural ingredients that can be used as hand sanitizers, the making process, and how to use them. Natural ingredients that are found in Kefamenanu are betel leaves. Education on making hand sanitizers from betel leaves helps sellers to be able to make their own hand sanitizers. The addition of aloe vera to betel leaves extract aims to make the liquid hand sanitizer becomes softer. While lime and perfume are to get rid of the betel leaves’ smell. The distribution of hand sanitizers that has been made can be an example of products from natural ingredients and the storage bottles provided can be used as a refill place for hand sanitizer.

Abstract

Supplier selection is one of the most important activities in supply chain network of a company. Supplier selection can be seen as a multi-objective problem because it is a multi-criteria problem that includes qualitative and quantitative factors. In fact, information relating to the objectives and constraints faced in the supplier selection problem are not known with certainty. Fuzzy set theory can be used in the obscurity and inaccuracy of information. So then the problem of supplier selection can be seen as a fuzzy multi-objective linear program. In business activities in general, between one goal with another goal has a different level of importance for decision makers so that the fuzzy decisions used are non-symmetrical fuzzy decisions. Previously there was a model developed to solve a non-symmetrical fuzzy multi-objective supplier selection problem, namely the weighted additive model. In this paper, the weighted max-min method is developed to deal with the deficiencies of the weighted additive model. In determining the objective function weights, the Analytic Hierarchy Process approach is used. This proposed model can help decision makers find out the right order for each supplier, and enable purchasing managers to manage supply chain performance on cost, quality and service. Finally, a numerical example is given to explain the differences of the two models

Abstract

Linear programming is one method oto determine the optimum value of a problem. Problems of the linear program faced by the decision makers have various variations from time to time. A variety of problems that can be seen as a multi-objective fuzzy linear programming, muli-objective stochastic linear programming, or a combination of both. This study focus on Multi-Objective Fuzzy Stochastic Linear Programming (MOFSLP) with each objective function has a same level of importance for decision makers or name as symmetrical model. The objective function of the MOFSLP contains the fuzzy parameters and normally distributed random variables while the function of constraints contains the fuzzy parameters. The purpose of this research is to formulate MOFSLP and develop algorithms to transform MOFSLP be Single-Objective Deterministic Linear Programming (SODLP) which can be solve using the simplex method. In transforming MOFSLP to SODLP, symmetrical model and also the chance constrained technique are used. In the end of this research, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the algorithm that has been developed. The models and algorithms that have been formed are expected to help decision makers in solving a problem.

Abstract

One of the tofu-producing companies in Kupang City is Bintang Oesapa. With the Covid-19 pandemic,the factory needs to reconsider the amount of production by taking into account the unpredictability ofdemand and resources to minimize losses due to excessive accumulation or shortages of supplies. Indetermining the amount of production, Mamdani’s Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) can be used, whichis a method for the analysis of an uncertain system. This method has three stages in the process ofdecision making, namely fuzzification, inferencing and defuzzification. In the defuzzification stage,the FIS Mamdani has five methods, namely Centroid, Bisector, Mean of Maximum (MOM), Smallestof Maximum (SOM), and Largest of Maximum (LOM). This study discusses an application of FISMamdani with five defuzzification methods for determining daily tofu production. The purpose of thisstudy is to offer a solution by first comparing the five defuzzification methods in assessing the amount oftofu production at the Bintang Oesapa factory and then determining that which is most appropriate. Theinput variables used in this research are the amount of demand and the amount of available stock, whilethe amount of production is our variable of interest. The results showed that the best defuzzificationmethod was the MOM method with an accuracy level of 94.73% and a small error value, 5.27%. TheMOM defuzzification is expected to aid decision makers in determining the best amount of productionduring the pandemic.

Abstract

Salah satu alasan sekolah masih belum dibuka secara penuh hingga kini adalah potensi terjadinya penularan melalui siswa-siswa yang berkumpul dalam waktu lama di ruang tertutup. Beberapa penelitian menunjukan bahwa menutup sekolah akan memperlambat perkembangan infeksi. Namun, langkah-langkah yang lebih luas seperti social distancing, terbukti memiliki efek pengendalian yang lebih besar. Risiko dari pembukaan sekolah akan bergantung pada seberapa baik sekolah mengendalikan penularan, misalnya dengan penggunaan masker dan membatasi okupansi. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan kembali penguatan perilaku untuk mencegah penularan penyakit Covid-19 kepada siswa dan guru. Bentuk Kegiatan Pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah pembagian masker dan edukasi mengenai dampak penyakit Covid-19 kepada siswa dan guru SDK Seoam 1 Eban, Kefamenanu. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah para siswa dan guru dapat melakukan protokol kesehatan secara sadar dan benar yaitu melalui 3M: memakai masker, menjaga jarak dan menghindari kerumunan, serta mencuci tangan pakai sabun. Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan pada lahan pertanian kelompok tani Mutis Cemerlang yang berada di desa Noepesu, Kecamatan Miomaffo Barat, Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur. Wilayah pertanian desa Noepesu merupakan wilayah lahan kering dengan topografi berbukit dan berlereng, sebagian besar lahan merupakan lahan dengan kemiringan ± 45o yang diusahakan sebagai ladang yang ditanami beberapa jenis tanaman seperti bawang, kacang merah, wortel dan kentang. Lahan tersebut tidak pernah diairi, masyarakat hanya memanfaatkan resapan air hujan di dalam tanah serta penerapan model usaha tani konvensional menjadi pilihan satu-satunya dalam beradaptasi terhadap anomali iklim yang ekstrim. Masalah ketersediaan air ini membuat hasil panen kurang memuaskan, ukuran umbi wortel, kentang dan bawang yang relatif kecil dan jumlahnya pun tidak begitu banyak saat dipanen, sehingga diperlukan teknologi pertanian seperti irigasi tetes yang dapat mengeluarkan air terus menerus. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi mengenai pemanfaatan teknologi jaringan irigasi tetes sebagai media pengairan. Informasi yang diberikan antara lain mengenai cara pemasangan irigasi tetes, spesifikasi bahan-bahan yang sesuai dengan kondisi lahan serta metode analisa perhitungan debit air optimal agar umur pakai irigasi tetes menjadi panjang. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah workshop dan pendampingan berkelanjutan. Hasilnya masyarakat dapat mengetahui cara pemasangan irigasi tetes, cara merawat serta tingkat produktivitas masyrakat dalam mengolah lahan pertanian meningkat karena tidak lagi terkendala keterbatasan air.

Abstract

The problems of linear programming are developing from time to time, and its complexity is constantly growing. Various problems can be viewed as a multi-objective fuzzy linear programming, multi-objective stochastic linear programming or a combination of both. This research is focused on examining Multi-Objective Fuzzy Stochastic Linear Programming (MOFSLP) with each of the objective functions has a different level of importance to decision makers, or better known as the nonsymmetrical model. The objective function of the linear program contains fuzzy parameters, while the constraint function contains the fuzzy parameters and random variables. The purpose of this study is to develop an algorithm to transform the MOFSLP be a Program of linear Single-Objective Deterministic Linear Programming (SODLP) so that it can be solved using simplex method. In the process of transforming MOFSLP to SODLP, several approaches have been used. They are; weighted additive model, analytic hierarchy process and chance constrained technique. An example of numerical computations has been provided at the end of the discussion in order to illustrate how the algorithm works. The resulted Model and algorithm are expected to help companies in the decision making process.

Abstract

In 2019, average score for high school Mathematics for all modes of the national level examination was the lowest compared to other subjects in all majors. For the North Central Timor Regency, average Mathematics Test Score for the Science major is 31.08, the lowest of other subjects. In dealing with this problem, teachers need a learning innovation that allows students to learn mathematics with visualizations that are easy to make, easy to use, and attractive, as well as strong interaction between teachers and students to facilitate the transmission of concept understanding from teachers to students. Therefore, several schools in the city area in ​​Kefamenanu and Noemuti were selected and trained using Microsoft Mathematics GeoGebra software and continued with training to solve various mathematical problems using Microsoft Mathematics GeoGebra. Training activities began with an introduction to Microsoft Mathematics and GeoGebra and continued with solving various mathematical problems using Microsoft Mathematics and GeoGebra. Then proceed with follow-up activities in the form of mentoring. After training, 57.14% have used Microsoft Mathematics and 52.38% have used GeoGebra as a learning method in the classroom.

Abstract

The activity of filling in school data, student data, and student final grades in report card at elementary schools in the Insana Fafinesu District, Timor Tengah Utara Regency has been carried out in handwriting (conventional), which have some constraints such as taking a long time to processing grades, has a tendency to miscalculation if the student report card is lost or damaged, it does not have documentation/ back-up documents. For teachers who have sloppy handwriting, it will be difficult for a parent to read. One software that can be used in making student report cards is Microsoft Office Excel. This software is easy to understand and can overcome problems in making student report cards such as the length of time for processing grades, the tendency of grade processing error, difficulties in reading teacher writing by parents, and overcoming problems with documentation/backup documents. This service activity aims to provide training in making e-report card applications using Microsoft Excel for elementary school teachers in the Insana Fafinesu area, Timor Tengah Utara Regency. The methods used in this activity are workshops and ongoing mentoring. As a result, teachers better understand the functions in Microsoft Excel that are useful in the process of filling out student report cards, each teacher succeeds in making their own e-reports, and they agree that e-reports with Microsoft Excel are more efficient and effective than filling out report cards manually (conventional) and will use e-reports in their respective schools. The next plan for this service activity will be an application for Teacher Performance Assessment (TPA) and Employee Work Targets (EWT).

Abstract

Smartphones nowadays have become a basic need for everyone because they provide many benefits and conveniences for users. People always want to have a smartphone with good quality. However, due to the lack of information along with the many types of smartphones in circulation, it often makes it difficult for users to choose a smartphone that suits their needs. To overcome these problems, it is necessary to have a method that can provide recommendations for appropriate decision-making for users. This study aims to apply the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and sensitivity analysis in determining the priority order of smartphone selection by comparing one smartphone to another. The criteria for consideration are Facilities, Price, Battery, and RAM with alternative choices in the form of Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo brand smartphones. Data collection in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 100 students of the Mathematics Study Program. The data were processed using the AHP method and sensitivity analysis. AHP is used to produce a more consistent ranking order of each alternative, while the sensitivity test is carried out to measure the stability of the calculation results if there is a change in decision-making. From the results of the analysis with AHP, it was found that Xiaomi was the first priority of the respondent's choice, followed by Vivo, and the last priority was Oppo with an inconsistency level of 0.02. Meanwhile, sensitivity testing shows that RAM is the most influential criterion for changing the order of alternative priorities, where Xiaomi remains the first priority, followed by Oppo, and Vivo is the last priority.
