Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, pencak silat athletes experienced difficulty improving physical fitness because training could not be done together with a coach, so their physical fitness decreased significantly. This study aimed to test Tabata and Circuit's effectiveness to improve female Pencak silat athletes' physical fitness. This research was quantitative with experimental methods. The subject of this research consisted of Female Pencak silat athletes with low physical fitness levels (n=20). All subjects were randomly allocated to experiment I of the Tabata weight training (TWT) (n = 10) and experiment II of the Circuit weight training (CWT) (n = 10). The results showed that the physical training such as arm muscle strength (t= 11.00; P<0.05), leg muscle strength (t= 7.900; P<0.05), muscle endurance (t= 6.014; P<0.05), flexibility (t= 10.34; P<0.05), endurance VO2max (t= 17.39; P<0.05) and power (t= 19.20; P<0.05), increased significantly due to the intervention of Tabata weight training. A similar increase occurred in Circuit weight training, physical fitness components, such as arm muscle strength (t= 4.910; P<0.05), leg muscle strength (t= 12.230; P<0.05), muscle endurance (t= 4.792; P<0.05), flexibility (t= 6.107; P<0.05), endurance VO2max (t= 5.533; P<0.05) and power (t= 5.982; P<0.05) increased significantly. Home-based weight training between Tabata and Circuit positively improved the physical fitness of female Pencak silat athletes. This research contributes knowledge in coaching so that lecturers and coaches can use it to improve aspects of athlete's physical fitness.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian yang dilaksanakan adalah untuk menyelidiki hubungan daya ledak dari otot lengan terhadap kemampuan keterampilan menembak dalam aktivitas bermain bola tangan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada kegiatan olahraga bola tangan Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) dengan sampel sebanyak 20 orang. Data daya ledak otot lengan didapatkan dari hasil tes Seated Medicine Ball Throw dan data kemampuan keterampilan menembak didapatkan dari hasil tes akurasi melempar bola tangan ke arah sasaran tes. Studi korelasi yang dilaksanakan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara menghitung hasil statistik deskriptif dan inferensial korelasional serta regresi linear dari variabel daya ledak otot lengan dan kemampuan keterampilan menembak para sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara daya ledak otot-otot lengan dengan keterampilan menembak  pada pemain bola tangan dengan hasil nilai yang terjadi relatif signifikan antara daya ledak otot-otot lengan dengan keterampilan menembak.

Abstract

Fenomena saat ini menunjukan karakter mahasiswa terus mengalami penurunan secara signifikan, sehingga menjadi masalah utama di dunia pendidikan jasmani yang harus segera di atasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji efek teaching personal social responsibility (TPSR) versus konvensional sebagai upaya meningkatkan good charater mahasiswa laki-laki maupun perempuan di tingkat Universitas. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan desain factorial 2x2 digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Subjek berasal dari mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan tingkat III dari Universitas Suryakancana, Cianjur (Indonesia) yang berusia 19 sampai 21 tahun (n=32, TPSR = laki-laki : 8 dan perempuan : 8, konvensional = laki-laki : 8 dan perempuan : 8). Program intervensi dilakukan seminggu 3 kali dengan durasi 40 menit salama 12 kali pertemuan. Analisis Two Way ANOVA digunakan untuk menguji perbedaan antara kelompok TPSR dan konvensional dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan good character antara mahasiswa yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran TPSR dan konvensional, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran TPSR dan konvensional pada kelompok mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan, terdapat suatu interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan gender terhadap peningkatan good character mahasiswa. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa TPSR terbukti menjadi alternatif model pembelajaran yang secara positif mempunyai keunggulan yang lebih baik dari konvensional untuk meningkatkan good character mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan di tingkat Universitas.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kegiatan senam bersama yang menjadi aktivitas pada giat pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang dianggap ampuh untuk mengaktifkan aktivitas gerak warga masyarakat, yang mana menjadi salah satu tujuan dari kegiatan ini. Kegiatan ini difokuskan untuk meningkatkan kebugaran fisik dan imunitas, dan psikologis warga masyarakat Desa Sirnagalih pada masa transisi covid 19 dengan metode kegiatan senam bersama secara tatap muka yang dilaksanakan selama 12 pertemuan.  Hasil yang dirasakan selama proses kegiatan ini berlangsung, senam aerobik di luar ruangan dengan dilakukan secara bersama-sama terbukti dapat meningkatkan kondisi kebugaran dan psikologi warga masyarakat, serta juga memiliki efek lain yang juga bermanfaat dalam aspek sosial dan ekonomi warga sekitar Desa Sirnagalih. ABSTRACTThe mass exercise activity which is an activity held in this community service is one exercise that is considered effective for activating community movement activities, which is one of the goals of this activity. This exercise focuses on improving the physical fitness, immunity, and psychology of the residents of Sirnagalih Village during the COVID-19 transition period using joint exercise activities carried out for 12 offline meetings. The results felt during the process of this activity, an outdoor aerobic exercise carried out together has been proven to improve the fitness and psychological conditions of the community members and has other beneficial effects on the social and economic aspects of residents around Sirnagalih Village.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to conduct a survey of healthy lifestyles for volleyball athletes during the COVID-19 pandemic crisis. In this study using a descriptive survey method. The research subjects came from volleyball athletes from one area in Cianjur Regency (n = 25) with female (n = 10) and male (n = 15) gender characteristics, ages from 20-30 years, weight 55-70 kg and height 165-175 cm. The instrument used to measure a healthy lifestyle refers to eating patterns, activity patterns, hygiene patterns and resting patterns. Data analysis using Ms. Excel 2010 to find mean, frequency and percentage values. The first findings of this study indicate that the athlete's diet has an average percentage of 69.33 which is included in the moderate criteria, the second finding shows that the activity pattern has an average percentage of 73.33 which is included in the moderate criteria, the third finding shows that the average hygiene pattern the average percentage is 81.33 which is included in the high criteria and the latest findings show that the average rest pattern is 77.33 which is included in the good criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that volleyball athletes in Cianjur Regency still maintain a healthy and regular lifestyle even during the COVID-19 pandemic

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimanakah profil tingkat kebugaran jasmani mahasiswa PJKR Universitas Suryakancana.. jenis penelitian dengan menggunakan penelitian survey. Subjek penelitian ini adalah  seluruh mahasiswa tingkat satu Prodi PJKR Universitas Suryakancana yang berjumlah 68 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Multistage Fitness Test (MFT). Pengambilan data dilakukan satu kali dan diolah menggunakan Mean, Standart deviasi, Varian dan Persentase. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa diperoleh nilai rata-rata (mean) sebesar 32,01, standar deviasi sebesar 4,68 dan varians sebesar 21,96 nilai yang memiliki kebugaran tertinggi sebesar 43,3 dan nilai yang memiliki kebugaran terendah sebesar 24,4. Dari data tersebut diperoleh hasil : terdapat 5 mahasiswa (7,4%)  yang memiliki kebugaran jasmani sangat kurang, terdapat 40 mahasiswa (59%) yang memiliki tingkat kebugaran jasmani  kurang, 18 mahasiswa (26%) yang memiliki tingkat kebugaran jasmani sedang dan 5 mahasiswa (7,4%) yang memiliki tingat kebugaran jasmani baik.

Abstract

In sport, women and men have the same position, opportunities and rights, but in reality women are still underestimated. the participation of women as athletes, coaches, officials and in the organizational structure of sports still tends to be less than that of men. The purpose of this study was to see the extent of women's participation in the XX Papua PON event. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The results of this study are that of the 7,046 athletes who competed in the Papua PON event, only 2,886 (40.1%) were female athletes, while the remaining 4,160 (49.9) were male athletes. There are various factors that cause the participation rate of women to be less than that of men, including that sport is still considered something exclusive and only dominated by men and sport is still considered something masculine. In addition, there is a tendency that men consider women as weak creatures so that they must be protected and do not deserve to play a role in determining sports decisions.Keywords: Gender, Women, PON XX Papua

Abstract

Bencana gempa Cianjur mengakibatkan salah satu sekolah dasar negeri Cibulakan menimbulkan kerusakan salah satunya pada fasilitas pendidikan dan mengganggu kegiatan belajar. Tujuan dalam pelaksanaan program Relawan mengajar ini untuk membantu proses pembelajaran dalam pemulihan implementasi literasi dan numerasi siswa-siswi terdampak paska gempa melalui dongeng di SD Negeri Cibulakan. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan terdiri dari tahap: 1) Perencanaan, 2) Implementasi, dan 3) Evaluasi. Hasil pelaksanaan Program “Relawan Mengajar” dapat membantu proses pembelajaran dalam pemulihan literasi dan numerasi siswa-siswi terdampak pasca gempa di Cianjur. Kegiatan kelompok belajar tersebut dilakukan dalam pembelajaran berbasis dongeng. Selain itu,pemulihan kemampuan literasi dan literasi membutuhkan kerja sama yang sinergis antara tim pengabdi, perangkat pemerintahan desa, guru, siswa, dan wali siswa. Berdasarkan kegiatan ini, tim pengabdi merekomendasikan penggunaan seni sebagai alternatif pemulihan literasi dan numerasi anak yang terkena dampak bencana gempa.

Abstract

This research is motivated by researchers' curiosity about the perception and interest of the community to carry out general sports and rhythmic movement activities. The aim is to get a comprehensive and sufficient picture so that further research can be carried out in the future in creating a physically active and fit community. The study used survey methods for 5 categories of rhythmic activity that were popular in the community, namely SKJ Exercise, Low Impact Aerobics, High Impact Aerobics, Healthy Heart Exercise / Elderly, Zumba, and Dangdut Exercise. The conclusion of this study revealed a sufficient level of interest from the community towards Rhythmic activity as one of the interesting activities to maintain body fitness with the results that the average female respondents preferred rhythmic activity in general compared to male respondents.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is community service to carry out tests and measurements of the physical condition of Porprov athletes in 2022. The research method used is in the form of community service through test surveys and physical condition measurements. There are several stages of the activity carried out, namely the explanation of the chairman of the implementation of the activity to the athletes, an explanation of the procedure for carrying out the sit and reach test, vertical jump, sprint run, push up, sit up, squat jump, back up, side step test and beep test, collection test result data, evaluation. The results of the community service research conducted by the Tri Dharma College between the Physical Education, Health and Recreation Study Programs from Suryakancana University and the Cianjur Indonesian National Sports Committee on 378 athletes from 38 sports branches found that the physical conditions possessed by the athletes varied from low to low, moderate to good. It is hoped that this activity will continue to be carried out and synergized from year to year, so that it can become a training for athletes to achieve achievements in the future
