Abstract

Abstrak: Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal yang dilakukan peneliti dikelas VIII G SMP N 9 Kota Jambi menunjukkan terdapat masalah dengan sikap yang dimiliki oleh siswa. Dimana masalah yang dimaksudkan dalam penlitian ini adalah masalah Tingkat Kejujuran siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang cenderung belum baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan model Value Clarification Technique (VCT) efektif dan dapat meningkatkan nilai kejujuran siswa kelas VIII G SMP N 9 Kota Jambi. Desain penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII G SMP N 9 Kota Jambi sebanyak 30 orang. Objek penelitian adalah variabel yang diselidiki yaitu tingkat kejujuran siswa. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan metode Value Clarification Technique (VCT) dengan berbantuan video interaktif dan LKPD siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, waawancara, dan dokumentasi hasil tes siswa. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan urutan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan serta verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase rata-rata keadaan awal siswa yaitu sebesar 41,05%, siklus I meningkat menjadi yaitu sebesar 46,97%, siklus II meningkat lagi yaitu sebesar 48,61%, pada siklus III meningkat cukup signifikan menjadi sebesar 68,22%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model VCT dengan berbantuan video interaktif dan LKPD siswa tentang meningkatkan kejujuran dan meningkatkan nilai kejujuran siswa di kelas VIII G SMP N 9 Kota Jambi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan ini tidak terjadi secara merata pada seluruh siswa, dimana terdapat 5 siswa yang memiliki sikap kejujuran sangat baik, 24 siswa memiliki sikap kejujuran baik, dan 1 siswa memiliki tingkat sikap kejujuran cukup baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan metode VCT belum efektif dalam meningkatkan nilai kejujuran siswa kelas VIII G SMP N 9 Kota Jambi.

Abstract

Abstract: Student delays in completing thesis are problems that are always faced by students in the final semester. In the process of education as a student to obtain a bachelor's degree, students will be faced with a thesis final project. Thesiis is a terim usied to define a scientific paper in the form of an explanation of the results of undergraduate researich that diiscusses a proiblem or phenomienon in a partiicular fiield of science by usiing applicable rules. Students who are able to write and compile theses are considered to be able to combine their knowledge and skills in understanding, analyzing, describing, and explaiining problems related to the scientiific field they take. However, ini realiity miany studeints have diifficulty in completing their thesis, so it is not uncommon for studenits to complete theiir thesis beyond the allotted time or more than four years. This study aiims to identifiy and describe the factors that cause studeints to be late in completing their final project (thesis). This research was conducited using qualiitative reseairch methods wiith source analysis techniques and Miles and Hubermen model analysis. The results showed that the factors that caused students to be late in completing their final assignments (thesis) in the Pancasila and Civic Education study program at Jambi University were influenced by two factors, namely internal factors and external factors. The first is the lack of motivation to graduate on time and assumes that writing the thesis is difficult, the second is the individual's self-intelligence (IQ), emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence. The third is external factors, namely the lack of availability of learning resources in libraries such as books, journals, and articles. scientific as a source of reference in the thesis. The fourth factor is the environmental factor of peers or playmates. Another factor that is also a support is the family's economic factor that requires students to work for extra money and also the hard upbringing factor of parents which makes students depressed.

Abstract

This iresearch was motivated by the low learning creativity of class XI TBSM students at SMK Negeri 4 Kerinci which was obtained by 16.90% who were creative in learning. Then the learning model used by the teacher when learning takes place does not have a tendency to improve students' creative thinking skills, students tend to be monotonous, students' knowledge is only limited to what is obtained from the teacher, students have difficulty in developing the knowledge gained from learning and students do not dare to express ideas, ideas or opinions. The purpose of this study is to find out that the inquiry learning model can ncrease the learning creativity of class XI TBSM students on Civics subjects at SMK Negeri 4 Kerinci. The design of this research is action research conducted by the teacher in the classroom. This research procedure is designed for 3 ciycles, where each cycle is carried out in 3 (three) face-to-face meetings. The action design in each cycle in this classroom action research is divided into 4 (four) stages, namel. Based on the results obtained during the implementation of classroom action research, it can be explained that the results of increasing student learning creativity in cycle I in this study showed the average percentage value of student learning creativity was 50%. Then classroom action research was carried out in cycle II where the average value of the percentage of student learning creativity became 64% which means it has increased but has not reached the KKM. Next, classroom action research is carried out in cycle III where the average value of the percentage of student learning creativity increases to 75% . This figure has shown that the average percentage value of student learning creativity has reached the KKM criteria of 75. Then it can be concluded that the application of the inquiry learning model at SMK Negeri 4 Kerinci can increase the learning creativity of class XI TBSM students in Civics.

Abstract

Abstract: The results of the initial observations of this study were the teacher's obstacles in the implementation and learning activities of Civics in grade VII which were accompanied by low student cognitive learning outcomes. This study was conducted with the aim of describing the problems of learning Pancasila and citizenship education for class VII.E at SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data and data sources were obtained from informants, namely PPKn teachers who teach in class VII.E and 10 students in class VII.E with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of data analysis that has been carried out, the findings and conclusions of the results of this study are as follows: First, on planning activities. The problem that occurs is the difficulty of teachers in preparing RPP in accordance with the principles of RPP preparation. Second, on implementation activities. The problems that occur are a) the teacher has difficulty controlling the condition of class VII.E in the last lesson, b) the ability to understand and think critically of class VII.E students is still low, c) lack of availability of PPKn learning media. Third, on the assessment of learning outcomes. The problems that occur are a) the teacher does not assess attitudes and skills, b) the cognitive learning outcomes of class VII.E students in PPKn subjects

Abstract

Analysis Of Low Student Participation In Osis Management As Civic Disposition Development In Sma Negeri 7 Kota Jambi Abstract: The background of this research is based on the problems that occured in SMA Negeri 7 in Jambi City related to the low participation of students in the management of Student Council, as one of the civic disposition developments in schools. The formulation of the problem in this research are: (1) how is student participation in Student Council management as a civic disposition, (2) what is the factor in the low participation of students in Student Council management at SMA Negeri 7 in Jambi City. The purpose of this study was to find out how student participation in OSIS management is a form of civic disposition development in the school environment and to find out what are the factors causing the low student participation in OSIS management at SMA N 7 Jambi City. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method. In this study, there were core informants and student informants who did not participate in the student council management. The main sources of data were an interview and documentation. The data was analyzed by using the data analysis technique of source triangulation. The findings showed that student participation in Student Council management at SMA Negeri 7 in Jambi City has decreased from previous years. The student council management is dominated by phase or class X students, the low participation of students is in the Social Sciences major. The factors that cause the low participation of students in the management of the Student Council, namely the low interest of students to participate in being the board of the Student Council because students feel they cannot be responsible for carrying out their duties as administrators of the Student Council, inadequate budget funds so that many activities in schools cannot be realized this is a factor causing the low interest of students in the Student Council organization, socialization that has not been maximized by coaches, teachers and old administrators about how the impact is obtained when becoming a member in an organization, and inappropriate recruitment of members by still using a system of appointments based on recommendations by teachers and related parties based on external character factors only.
