Abstract

Starting in 2018 Purworejo district will implement governance by following the smart city system. Purworejo Government has been very serious about the planning and implementation plan of smart cities in Purworejo Regency. In the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) 2016-2021, which still projects e-government based governance, there is the term cyber city to support the implementation of more effective and efficient city governance. The transition process from e-government to smart city needs to be pursued so that the planning contained in the RPJMD can work in synergy with the Garuda Smart City Model (GSCM) adopted by Purworejo district. The transition method used is to link the programs contained in the RPJMD with the service domain, namely smart economy, smart society, and smart environment.

Abstract

Penguasaan literasi digital dan kemampuan menyusun buku/bahan ajar berbasis teknologi menjadi sesuatu yang wajib dimiliki oleh para guru di era teknologi informasi seperti saat ini. Hal tersebut perlu agar para guru mampu melaksanakan proses kegiatan pembelajaran secara lebih menarik, fleksibel, terarah, dan mampu mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang ditetapkan. Hal itu pula yang seharusnya dimiliki oleh para guru di SMP Muhammadiyah Jono, Purworejo. Oleh sebab itu, Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan literasi digital serta penyusunan buku ajar berbasis teknologi bagi para guru SMP Muhammadiyah Jono, Kab. Purworejo. Pengabdian ini menggunakan perpaduan antara metode pelatihan dan metode difusi ipteks, yakni suatu kegiatan yang proses pelaksanaannya disertai dengan demonstrasi atau percontohan untuk menghasilkan keterampilan tertentu dan kegiatan yang tujuan akhirnya menghasilkan produk bagi kelompok sasaran/mitra. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa para guru menunjukkan semangat dan antusiasme yang tinggi dalam usaha menguasai teknologi untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mereka dalam literasi digital serta menyusun buku ajar berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

Excellent service is the best form of service to consumers to feel satisfied. The purpose of excellent service is that consumers or prospective consumers feel underserved and in terms of agencies or companies will increase consumer confidence. Muhammadiyah University Purworejo (UMP) as an educational institution has prospective consumers, namely the millennial generation. The habit of the millennial generation in accessing information is by digitally searching. To access more detailed information, they are accustomed to asking through the texting method via chat. Therefore, the University needs to provide a texting application that can answer questions anytime and with a short reply time.The chat application developed in the form of chatbots.The chat-bot application development begins with studying general questions that are often asked by prospective students. The combination of question words and keywords from each question. From the keywords that are prepared an automatic answer that contains information that the prospective student wants to access. In addition, in each answer a key for information related information will be provided. The results of the design and development of the Chatbot application, namely the implementation of Chatbot can be used as a substitute for the role of humans in providing excellent service. This chatbot can provide quick and complete answers. In terms of the excellent service factor, this Chatbot can fulfill the attitude, attention, action, ability and accountability factors.

Abstract

Subjects of Fundamentals of Engine, has been described using a real model of a stand engine. This method is difficult because the teachers have to carry the stand engine to the classroom. To solve this problem, teacher present learning materials using sketches, images and 3D graphics of engine models. It is difficult for teachers to control the learning material to explain certain parts and this method is ineffective and inefficient for teaching process. In this paper, the pro-posed solution to control 3D engine models with hand gestures by Kinect. Therefore, it’s neces-sary to study the hand gesture that is easily operated by teacher and the usefulness of control with hand gesture. To achieve the goal of the research carried out application design, applica-tion development, internal testing and performance testing directly to the teacher as a user. Testing software that will do is the performance test and usability.To rotate the 3D engine model can be done by locking the object first by moving the right hand to the top of the right shoulder as far as 30 cm. To rotate the object to the right, the right hand to the right side of head, to turn to the left, the left hand to the left side of head, to rolling upwards, left hand on the left shoulder and to rolling downwards, the left hand to the bottom of left shoulder as far as 30 cm. To zoom in the object, right hand to the front of the right shoulder, to zoom out, the left hand to the front of left shoulder as far as 40 cm.

Abstract

Current population information is an important part of an area. UU no. 32 of 2004 regulating regional autonomy shows that the quantity of population must be increased from all aspects. Bantul Regency has a majority of population systems at the dukuh or RW level that have not yet been computerized. Currently the obstacle faced is inaccurate information. the government has difficulty in providing counseling, development stimulant funds and welfare of various real sec-tors. Other problems aim to facilitate the implementation of reconstruction and rehabilitation of dukuh or RW-level areas. Pedukuhan Plawonan has ten RT. Currently Plawonan hamlet has approximately 1000 counts of souls consisting of various ages that are still not well recorded. This research intends to overcome these problems. This research attempts to complete using the Relational Database model. With SIMDUK that has been built by the RW, the village can easily obtain the required information quickly, precisely and accurately.

Abstract

Association is one of the methods in data mining, which is looking for a similar pattern in data transactions or certain items that often appear. So that the supermarket manager can determine in making decisions on the pattern of items purchased together and often appears in the database. In order to generate patterns from association rules, there are several algorithms that can be used. First pioneered by the AIS Algorithm, then increased memory performance by the Apriori algorithm. The Apriori algorithm process involves several steps. Such as determining the minimum support, confidence, candidate itemset. The process continues until the pattern is obtained according to the support and confidence criteria of the minimum threshold value. Most of the algorithms used to find patterns of association rules start with the Apriori algorithm, then progress to the Apriori series algorithm. But there are two obstacles to the Apriori algorithm. One of them is the process of making complex candidates that mostly require time, space, and memory. Another problem is the repeated scanning of large-scale databases.

Abstract

The problem faced by elementary school teachers in Era 4.0 is the use of technology in the learning and administration process. Facts in schools there are still many teachers who do not have the expertise, skills, and skills in preparing to learn. This is reflected in the very little knowledge that teachers have about learning technology, the low level of teacher innovation in computer utilization, the low ability and interest of teachers in computer software and applications, and the impact of the internet that provides everything instantly. The purpose of community service activities is to meet the needs of students and teachers in the learning process so that learning activities become more effective and efficient. The method used in community service with a priority scale. This is because the problems in these service activities are limited to the use and use of technology for learning activities and supporting teacher administration. The types of programs implemented in this training activity include the Microsoft Word Program, Microsoft Excel Program, Open Shoot Program, Hypercam Program, and e-Learning Program. The results of community service training activities are able to make teaching materials using Microsoft Word, create video learning media using Open Shoot, manage learning materials from the internet using Hypercam, manage learning materials, learning media, and evaluate learning using Elearning, and process Student daily grades using Microsoft Excel.

Abstract

Schools as a place to forge students to become people who are ready to welcome the 21st century. 21st Century projection factors indicate the ability of literacy, one of which is technology literacy. Schools are required to familiarize students with the application of information technology. The method that can be applied is by digitizing the School. SMPN 4 Pakem has begun digitizing education with various steps and efforts. So it is necessary to study the digitization process and its impact on increasing existing resources. The method used in this paper is through several stages. The initial stage is observation, which aims to see the activeness of the parts that have been digitalized. SMPN 4 Pakem implements education digitization through several sections, namely website, library, and evaluation and assessment system. The SMPN 4 Pakem website has become a medium of communication and information sources both internal and external. SMPN 4 Pakem Library implements library automation to improve services to users with the help of information technology-based applications.

Abstract

Schools as places of interaction between teachers and students must limit interactions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The government issued an instruction to oblige the implementation of learning from each home. SMP Negeri 4 Pakem implements online learning as an effective learning effort in the era of the Covid-19 outbreak. This article was prepared based on the implementation of online learning at SMP Negeri 4 Pakem. This article is a documentation of the process of designing, implementing, and evaluating the implementation of teaching-learning. Data is collected from the entire process of implementing online learning so that its effectiveness can be seen to replace the regular learning process. The implementation of online learning conducted at SMP Negeri 4 Pakem in the era of the Covid-19 outbreak was running effectively. The learning planning process is carried out by compiling a learning schedule that is different from regular learning. Online learning is carried out using many online platforms. The distribution of information on the learning process to students is done through the WhatsApp group. Learning is carried out through Google Classroom, for learning management and for face to face using video conferencing. The online evaluation and test processes are carried out using Google Form. The online learning evaluation process involves students and parents. From the results of the evaluation carried out, online learning does not burden students because its implementation is directly monitored by the school principal, and by using very clear signs.

Abstract

Communication without cable / wireless (wireless) has become a basic necessity or a new lifestyle of the information society. Wireless LAN, better known as Wi-Fi networks, is an alternative technology and is relatively easy to implement in a work environment. Installation of Wi-Fi network devices is more flexible because it does not require a cable connection between computers. An access point is a device commonly used in a wireless network (Hotspot area) where a user or users connect to the internet using air media through an access point device. In addition, this wireless-based network makes it easier for people to access the internet wherever they are. The implementation of this network installation consists of installing an RJ-45 connector on the UTP cable, configuring the router, configuring the Access Point, configuring the MikroTik HotSpot Server, and managing the user using the user manager feature. With the user manager-based HotSpot wireless network in a residential area, it will make it easier for residential residents to access the internet at a relatively low cost.
