Abstract

IPJKS online application is one of the new social media in Indonesia. IPJKS online application is not only effectively used as one of communication tool, but also effectively used as media of information dissemination either general or special information. One of the users who use IPJKS online application is the people who download IPJKS application which this application is used as a medium of information dissemination of tourism on the path of Kuantan Singingi. Theory used is New Media Theory. The purpose of this study is to find out how much the level of effectiveness of onlie tourism applications on the pathway Kuantan Singingi (IPJKS) as an online information media for the community.This study uses quantitative research methods, with data collection techniques that is through the distribution of questionnaires directly to the public who download the online application IPJKS with the number of samples 100 determined by sampling technique. Data analysis techniques in this study using descriptive statistical techniques.The results of this study show that the level of effectiveness of online tourism application communication oacu line Kuantan Singingi (IPJKS) as an online information media for the community is very effective. This is seen from the results of data processing based on six indicators, each indicator reached the scale of 3.43 on the receiver indicator, 3.43 on the indicator of content content, 3.48 scale on the channel indicator (media) , 3.45 scale on the indicator format, 3.47 scale on the source code indicator, and 3.48 scale on the timing indicator, so the conclusion obtained by using the average formula of all indicators is 3, 45 which are included in the effective scale range. This shows that the online application of tourism runway Kuantan Singingi (IPJKS) is a very effective medium as an online informai media for the community.

Abstract

The increase of dangerous drugs using cases, in Bangkinang affected the userdiscrete from the environment, family, society until country. The majority of dangerous drugsusers are adolescent in 11 until 19 years old. In the several time, a lot of adolescent useddangerous drugs because the minimum information that their gotten. There for, DWP, BNKand Polres Kampar held socialization in SMA Muhammadiyah Bangkinang to invite them foravoiding the drugs. The intention of this research is to know the socialization effect of thedangerous drugs to the student’s attitude of SMA Muhammadiyah Bangkinang.The researchdesign used kuantitative research by descriptive method. The account of sampel is 70people from 193 population. The sampel is decided from Quota Sampling technique, analyzemethod in this research used a formula P=F/N × 100%. The result of this research showsthat the socialization effect of dangerous drugs to the student’s attitude SMA MuhammadiyahBangkinang can be categoried good with the precentage is 95,09% and the socialization washeld by DWP, BNK and Polres Kampar to SMA Muhammadiyah Bangkinang was succesfull.

Abstract

LinkedIn is an American business and employment-oriented online service that operates via websites and mobile apps. It is mainly used for professional networking, including employers posting their CVs. One of the users who use  LinkedIn app are alumnus of Universitas Riau as a source of job. The theory used in this research is new media theory. This study aims to measure the effectiveness level of the LinkedIn application communication as an online information medium for Riau University alumni.This research is quantitative research, with descriptive approach. The technique of collecting data in this study is using questionnaire to 100 alumnus of Riau University that are determined through random sampling techniques. The data analysis method in this research using descriptive statistical techniques measuring the mean value of each indicator using a formula and with the help of SPSS version 24.The results showed that the LinkedIn application was effective as a medium of information for alumni. This is evidenced by the results of the data collected and measured in six indicators, the measurement of the message recipient indicator obtained a score of 2.73 which is included in the effective scale range, then the results of the measurement of the message content indicator obtained an average score of 2.93 which is also included in the range. effective scale. The results of the measurement of media indicators are in the number 3.02 which is also included in the effective scale range, the format indicator is also in the effective scale range because it obtains an average score of 2.88. The message source indicator gets the final result with an average score of 2.92 which is included in the effective scale range, and the measurement of the timeliness indicator is also in the effective scale range with an average score of 2.71. Abstract

AbstractStudy aimed to (1) analyze the relationship between the Community Development (CD) program and image of  PTPN V in the education sector beneficiaries in Pekanbaru;  (2) analyze the factors inhibiting and supporting the Community Development (CD) of PTPN-V. The first study  conducted  using quantitative methods  while  the second study  using qualitative methods. Results showed a strong correlation between Community Development (CD) program  and image  of  PTPN V in the education sector beneficiaries in Pekanbaru. Furthermore,  the  factors inhibiting the Community Development (CD) program that funds the education sector is relatively limited and should be selected for the program beneficiaries.  The factor supporting the education sector  of  Community Development (CD) program  was  a  good cooperation between company and educational organizations beneficiary  of  education program of Community Development (CD).Keywords:  community development, image of company

Abstract

The success of an institution's goals cannot be separated from the role of a leader. In delivering messages, the leader gives information to the super visor employee (SPV) while the information is not well understood by the super visor (SPV) which causes the information to be conveyed to the employees underneath, so the delivery of the message cannot go as well as what is desired leader. The purpose of this study was to determine the vertical, horizontal and diagonal communication that occurred at PT.BFI Finance Bagan Batu Branch in increasing employee productivity in human resources (HR). This study uses qualitative research methods with the concept of leadership. Subjects were selected using purposive sampling technique. This study uses data collection techniques of observation, interviews and research documentation.The results showed that vertical communication by the leadership can be done at any time, either directly or indirectly according to the situation and conditions. In the leadership of implementing communication on two levels, namely communication between leaders to employees of the super visor (SPV) and communication of leadership to employees of the staff section. In the communication carried out by the leadership, the way to consider employees as partners is more open discussion to exchange ideas about work issues. Horizontal communication is horizontal communication with the same position. Communication that occurs in the company to the leadership also conducts this communication not within one company, but with the head of another branch company BFI is used to formulate a strategy of what will be done to improve the performance of employees in the company. In addition to the leadership, employees and staff also conduct this communication, the communication that they do with the same position is useful to facilitate problem solving and mutual care with problems faced by other employees in order to achieve common goals at the company PT.BFI Finance Bagan Batu Branch. Furthermore diagonal communication is communication that crosses one another. In this communication it should be applicable to any company, but in contrast to PT. BFI Finance Bagan Batu Branch does not often use this communication which will result in misinformation of information provided and will also lead to new problems that arise.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the presence of a phenomenal preacher until 2019, Ustaz Abdul Somad. Ustaz Abdul Somad, or who is usually better known as UAS, is very popular in all circles, be it parents, teenagers and even children with an interesting method of delivering da'wah and always makes people want to listen. In addition, the material of the da'wah message delivered by Ustaz Abdul Somad is the entire teachings of Islam in the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Apostles. This study aims to analyze the influence of Ustaz Abdul Somad's preaching message on the religious understanding of recitation worshipers in Pekanbaru City and to determine the effect of Ustaz Abdul Somad's preaching message on religious understanding of recitation worshipers in Pekanbaru. The theory used in this research is stimulus response theory. This study examines the message of preaching as independent (X) and religious understanding as the dependent variable (Y).               The research method used in this research is quantitative descriptive. The research method used in this research is quantitative descriptive. Data collection using questionnaires, observation and documentation. The population in this study are people who have attended Ustaz Abdul Somad's study in Pekanbaru City whose exact numbers are unknown. The sample in this study amounted to 166 respondents obtained based on the formula unknown population with random sampling withdrawal techniques. Data measurement using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used in this study is simple linear regression.               The results showed the value of sig. 0,000 obtained based on measurements through the SPSS Version 24.0 program is smaller than the 0.05 probability, thus it can be concluded that the independent variable (Da'wah Message) significantly influences the dependent variable (Religious Understanding) or Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Message Da'wah Ustaz Abdul Somad has a proportion of influence of 41.2% on the Religious Understanding of the Recitation Congregation in Pekanbaru City.

Abstract

 Competition between services providing healthcare services is becoming increasingly strict, from clinics, public hospitals to specific hospitals. Eye Hospital Pekanbaru Eye Center is a private hospital that is not specialized for the eye. Visit to the PBEC eye hospital. Pekanbaru Eye Center Eye Hospital realizes the importance of marketing communication strategies to reach the public and improve the existence of hospitals by building brand awareness. This study is about the implementation of the marketing mix (7P) at the Pekanbaru Eye Hospital Center and how the Pekanbaru Eye Center's ophthalmic marketing communication strategy works by promoting brand awareness. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive analysis presentation. The research topics were the Manager of Medical and Nursing Services, Staff Admissions, Staff Personnel, Coordinator of the Marketing and Collaboration Department, Members of the Marketing and Collaboration Department, and Eye Hospital Patients at Pekanbaru Eye Center. The collection of data is done through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques by reducing data, collecting data, presenting data, drawing conclusions and evaluations using the technique of checking the validity of the data, namely the expansion of participation and triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the marketing communication strategy is promotional activities are carried out through advertising, namely print media, electronic media and outside media. Sales promotion is carried out by offering BPJS Health Services that offer discounts / discounts to patients. Face-to-face sales with direct interaction with the community through free socialization and eye checks, car-free day and events. Direct marketing is done via telephone and letter media. Interactive marketing is done through interaction with patients or the public via internet with media websites, Facebook and Instagram social media. Sending press releases to local newspaper media via public relations and publicity by being a mediator between internal and external parties. Abstract

Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Arifin Achmad Riau Province have a service that can help outpatients to facilitate outpatients to create the accuracy and speed of service, especially in terms of registration, namely the SMS gateway service. The purpose of this study was to study most of the quality of SMS gateway services to the satisfaction of outpatients in Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province. . The theory used in this study was the stimulus-response theory.This study used quantitative research methods, with data were collected from distributing questionnaires directly to outpatients with a sample size of 96 which was determined through random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used was simple linear regression analysis techniques.The results showed that the regression coefficient in this study was Y = 4.718 + 0.478 X. The constant number (a) was 4.718 and the variable coefficient X was 0.478. Meanwhile t count (6.377) is greater than the t table of 1.985 with a significance level of 0.000 smaller than α = 0.05. Based on the statistical calculations obtained, Ha was acceptede and Ha was rejected. In conclusion, there was a significant effect of the quality of the gateway SMS service (X) on outpatient satisfaction (Y) at RSUD Arifin Achmad of Riau Province. The correlation coefficient (r) obtained in this study was 0.550.  It means that the relationship between the variable of SMS Gateway Service Quality (X) and the variable of Outpatient Satisfaction was in the moderate category. On the other hand, the coefficient of determination (Rsquared) obtained was 0.320. It means that the outpatient satisfaction of 30.2% was influenced by the quality of SMS gateway service. Abstract

TVRI Riau Station is a local government-owned television station. For Riau TVRI, the motivation given is still limited to the "bonding" of good social relations and the existence of efforts to create creative and productive contributions to instantsi. This study aims to analyze how much influence the organizational communication climate has on the work motivation of TVRI Riau employees.The method used in this research is quantitative research methods with an explanative research design. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires directly or using google form. The census sample taken is the entire population, namely all employees of 66 respondents. The data analysis method used is simple linear regression, t test, and testing the coefficient of determination.The results obtained are that the organizational communication climate affects the work motivation of Riau TVRI employees according to hypothesis testing, namely tcount of 5.973> 1.998 and a significance test of 0.000 <0.05 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. From the simple regression equation Y = 10.832 + 0.374X the value of b = 0.374 means that if the organizational communication climate variable (X) increases by 1%, the effect on work motivation (Y) will increase by 0.374. 35.8% (rounded to 36%). Meanwhile, 64% is a factor that affects the Y variable from other factors not examined by the researcher. What was not studied were employee performance factors, communication satisfaction or job satisfaction factors, employee engagement factors and other factors. Keywords: Organization Climate, Motivation, TVRI Riau-Kepri

Abstract

The development of information technology and social networking media or social media affects the patterns of media workers in finding ideas, information and news sources. Social media can also be used as a source of news. The social media that is most often and considered effective in finding news ideas and sources is Facebook. In delivering information, the Riau Police Public Relations utilizes the Facebook fanpage which contains the most current information. This method is considered effective in meeting the needs of public information. This study uses the Stimulus-response theory which assumes that verbal (spoken-written) words, non-verbal cues, pictures and certain actions will stimulate others to respond in a certain way and the New Media Theory that focuses on media to be able to increase social interaction between humans through several social networks.The method used in this research is an explanative quantitative method. The population in this study were followers of the Facebook fanpage of Bid Humas Riau Police with 100 respondents. The data collection technique used purposive sampling technique and questionnaire. And for data processing, the questionnaire test was carried out using Windows version 16 of the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) program.The results showed a significance value of 0.000, smaller than α = 0.05 with the regression equation Y = 2.464 + 0.840 X. In addition, the value of tcount 13.467> ttable 1.984. Thus Ha in this study was accepted, while Ho was rejected. The correlation coefficient value obtained is 0.806 and the coefficient of determination is 64.9%. The content of "Polda Riau Menyapa" can affect the fulfillment of public information, and the remaining 35.1% is influenced by variables or other factors not examined in this study. Keyword : Fanpage facebook, Public information, Stimulus-response
