Abstract

This research and development was conducted at MAN Polman. The subjects of the study were 6 students of class XI. the problem of study was the students of class XI who did the bullying. The study employed ADDIE research and development approach. data were collected through interview, direct observation, and questionnaire instrument. the data were analyzed qualitatively. the guidance of socio personal guidance model was tested to two experts, accepted and could be used as counselor guidance. the result from the expert was tested to students which showed students could comprehend socio personal guidance which could be implemented in the environment. the result of the study are (1) students at MAN Polman are identified as the victim as well as the doer of bullying. (2) produce socio personal guidance model to reduce students behavior in bullying and (3) the socio personal guidance model can be the guidance in implementing guidance and counseling, particularly to reduce students behavior in bullying.

Abstract

Abstrak. Multikultural memiliki makna jamak dari kata dasar kultur. Secara etimologi, dalam bahasa Inggris disebut culture yang artinya budaya yang berasal dari kata Latin Colere, yaitu mengolah atau mengerjakan. Bisa diartikan juga sebagai mengolah tanah atau bertani. Dalam pemahaman Bahasa Indonesia, multikultur mengandung makna banyak kultur atau banyak budaya. Jika terminologi multikultur dilekatkan pada diri setiap individu, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa dalam setiap diri individu terdapat atau melekat banyak kutur. Beberapa kultur yang dimaksud antara lain: Bahasa, agama, suku atau etnis, ras dan asal daerah. Jadi bisa dipahami, setiap orang senantiasa melekat dan membawa kultur-kultur tersebut dalam dirinya. Ragam kultur yang ada dalam diri setiap individu perlu dikelola secara baik dan benar, melalui pendekatan multiculturalism of mind, multiculturalism of attitude, dan multiculturalism of skills .Kasus konflik sosial yang melibatkan asal daerah dan suku bangsa, yang terjadi belakangan ini, menunjukkan kepada kita semua bahwa persoalan pemahaman kebangsaan dan keragaman di Indonesia belum selesai. Multikulturalisme harus dikelola dengan baik, agar tidak menjadi sumber utama konflik dan perpecahan antar bangsa. Kesadaran akan pentingnya memahami masyarakat multikultural harus berkembang menjadi mindset setiap orang. Masyarakat Indonesia perlu memiliki kesadaran akan persamaan hak dari berbagai kelompok yang ada. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan multikultural harus terus ditanamkan pada seluruh lapisan masyarakat, khususnya pada generasi muda. Kata Kunci: pendidikan multikultural, konflik sosial

Abstract

AbstractIndonesia consists of tens of thousands of islands and is known as a maritime country that has a very wide sea territory and enormous marine wealth. However, the living conditions of fishermen are generally relatively poor. In such conditions, social networks are very helpful as a strategy for fishermen to survive. This study aims to look at social networks in fishing communities in Cikoang Village, Takalar Regency. The method used is the mix method, namely a combination of methods by combining qualitative and quantitative analysis. This study found that the social network of fishing communities is divided into internal and external social networks. The internal social network of fellow fishermen, close family and neighbors is the social capital that is often used by the fishing community of Cikoang village in a survival strategy. Some fishermen use external social networks in survival strategies such as assistance from distant relatives who are migrating. Fishermen's external social network is not as strong as fishermen's internal social network. Fishermen who have families who are also neighbors are the most strategic social network for survival in the Cikoang Fishermen's Community, Takalar.

Abstract

Many cases show that village government officials have very limited capacity in empowering their communities. This is influenced by the low level of education and limited experience. Such village officials cannot carry out various innovative steps to advance their village. This situation is the background for the implementation of governance that is not perfectly implemented at the village level which results in hampered development in the region. In general, the capacity of the village apparatus in Sabbangparu District is also not maximized in supporting the community empowerment process. So it is very important to increase the capacity of the village apparatus in empowering the people in their village. The activity was carried out by providing outreach to increase the capacity of the village apparatus in empowering the community. Socialization material is presented interactively by stimulating the participants' minds so they can express their opinions and problems. This activity provides understanding to village apparatus to know their field of work well, especially their roles and functions. In addition, village officials also gain a comprehensive understanding of community development and empowerment, so they can formulate programs and mobilize communities in village development activities. Village apparatus received guidance in recognizing their respective potentials. This activity is not seen as just a transfer of knowledge but is far more important for elevating human dignity in the countryside.

Abstract

Ikhtiar dalam meningkatkan keterampilan kerja sosial dan pengembangan literasi Pemuda dan mahasiswa di Komunitas Education Corner, adalah tanggungjawab pengurus Komunitas Education Corner sendiri. Oleh karena   itu, sekiranya kami mencoba untuk menfasilitasi dengan melakukan pelatihan kerja sosial dan strategi pengembangan literasi dengan menghadirkan orang yang kompeten. Melihat lemahnya kompetensi manajerial kerja sosial dan pengembangan literasi dalam internal komunitas maupun masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, model pelatihan menjadi kebutuhan mendasar untuk menjalankan komunitas ini lebih lanjut.Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah terpenuhinya keterampilan manajerial kerja sosial dan pengembangan literasi yang kompeten dan berkomitmen tinggi. Sehubungan dengan hal ini maka perlu pelatihan dan pengembangan yang lebih komprehensif dengan menghadirkan pegiat kerja sosial dan literasi yang berpengalaman. Terkhusus bagi pemuda dan mahasiswa sebagai pekerja sosial yang profesional dalam meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengembangan literasi, pelatihan ini dapat memperkuat kapasitas sebagai pekerja sosial profesional memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan aksesibilitas layanan kerja sosial dalam bidang literasi.Abstract. Efforts to enhance social work skills and literacy development among youth and students in the Education Corner community are the responsibility of the Education Corner community leaders themselves. Therefore, we aim to facilitate this process by providing training on social work and literacy development strategies with competent trainers. Given the weak managerial competence in social work and literacy development within the internal community and society, a training model becomes a fundamental need to advance this community further. The objective of this service is to fulfill the need for competent and highly committed managerial skills in social work and literacy development. To achieve this, a more comprehensive training and development program is necessary, with experienced social workers and literacy activists as trainers. Specifically for youth and students working as professional social workers, this training can strengthen their capacity and contribute to improving the quality and accessibility of social work services in the literacy field.
